Fresh, beautiful produce. Organic, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, carnivore... any food preference/issue, this market has got it covered. The people are happy and helpful. I love their mango, curry chicken salad, I get it every time I visit. Highly recommend.

Great little full service market in Grandin Village. Firstly, the parking, including accessible slots, is along the buildings side, a few steps outside the door - fantastic! The bulk spices, teas and dried herbs are better and less expensive than anything available in the usual small supermarket boxes. A highlight of a shopping trip to the Co-Op for me is the tiny bakery section at the rear of the stores. They carry everything from delicious bread to sweets like scones and cookies. The Co-Op carries a good assortment of standard grocery-store fare, most of what is available on any given day, is organic and some portion may be GMO. I am always disappointed with the produce and fresh flowers. They are not marketed or displayed properly. This, unfortunately, leads to wilted bouquets and tired looking fruits and vegetables.

This is a superbly run cooperative, a fun place to visit and the best deal around on a great salad bar. You don’t need to be a member to shop or dine here. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout. The magnifying glass on a string in the supplements section delighted the heart of this near sighted senior (last photo).

So glad to have this in our community! Good selection of organic, healthy foods. They have really good deals, making healthy eating affordable. I especially go there for their grass-fed organic yogurt. Its the only place in town I can find it.

I love the idea of the co-op. Respect what it does but I have more bad experiences then good there. Only due to the attitudes by the employees. Chris and Wayne are the ONLY ONES WHO HAVE ever treated folks kindly when coming in the door and assisting there customers. Joy is very unfriendly. I got home this evening to find out he had just also had a horrible experience with her. This is sad.

I cant believe its taken me so long to go to the co+op since moving to Roanoke. I moved here from Charlottesville and its like an updated and modern Integral Yoga Natural Foods (which I love and used to work at)Im so excited to know they have a water bottle refill station for my 5 gallon jugs. Theyre open until 10 every day and every employee I happened to come into contact with was wonderfully helpful and kind. Good people and good food! Cant wait to go back work my empty spice jars to fill them up from the bulk containers!

Always a positive experience! Great place to find safe food and the staff is always so friendly! Also wanted to give a shout out to the gentleman that monitors parking at the co-op. He is so pleasant and also very vigilant about helping people get in and out of parking spots. I witnessed him prevent a fender bender in the lot this evening. If he hadnt stepped in and stopped one of the cars, they definitely would have hit. After preventing the accident, he was polite and professional with both drivers. He is a true asset to the co-op!

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a Stevia Zero Calorie soda from the cold drink case and a piece of strawberry shortcake from the deli case. They gave me packaged plastic “silverware,” and I happily took my lunch and ate it outside on a bench in the outdoor church amphitheater next door.Clean store, delicious food, helpful people.I’m sorry I didn’t get a picture if the shortcake. I was hungry !

The Co-op has really fresh vegetables... people are treated really well... its hard to go there and not spend time just shopping... I like our experience there....

What can I say? They always have what we need...fresh..fair prices...the list goes on. We have a special diet and can always count on the Co+op to have what we want from snack to necessities for food and all around the house. They match snap and have amazing frontier herbs at the same price as online without the shipping wait. When youre a member there are even more perks. I can go on and on but we love this place. Ps they just started making fresh smoothies that Blow Tropical Smoothie out the Window!🖤🖤

Terrible cashier asked if I could put on a mask and I didn’t have one so I asked if they had one and the cashier handed me one then the guy that had asked me to put one on told me next time I come in I better have one on then I told him if the masks where at the door I would have put one on I was as respectful as I could be and gave him no problem putting one on and he just kept with his attitude and told me to leave the store so I left 10/10 will not revisit this store terrible customer service especially for doing everything he asked no questions asked

Real deal meat from Polyface sold here! The Co-op is newly renovated and it looks great! Wide variety of local products, from local chocolate and coffee too, also local beauty products.

Although abit pricey, the quality & selections are above average. The restrooms are clean.

There is an excellent selection of produce and a fairly large selection in bulk items. I also like the selection of kitchen and houseware items that promote a zero-waste lifestyle. The selection of meats and eggs from Polyface farms is awesome if you are looking for a local, clean source of animal products. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I love it here. I always find something new to try on each visit and I’m never disappointed. I came for local raw honey today and also found some amazing chicken salad. They always have what I need and the prices are reasonable considering the great quality. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Stopped in after seeing a movie across the street at the Grandin. Was looking for some tangerine juice which I didnt see.Was a bit pricey for me and a lot of odd brands and products Im not familiar with.Store was well staffed and cashier was nice. A big plus is they carry Route 11 potato chips and they are reasonably priced.

Did you know that the Co-op in Grandin carries the delicious bread from the wonderful Roanoke downtown bakery Breadcraft? Our favorite since we moved here! It’s such a convenience to find it at this location. Not to mention all the other great things you’ll find.

Good except they stopped carrying Brunos health bread, and I only go about half as often.

I love this place! Good selection and reasonable prices on organic foods. They dont carry any fat-free milk or feta, which are staples in our house, but they do have fat-free yogurt. I go there specifically for Gimme Lean sausage and usually end up buying other groceries too.The only negative thing I can report is that today we were both hungry when shopping here so we got deli sandwiches. The dressing, which we were unaware was already on the turkey wrap, was not to my husbands liking, but he was able to eat it most of it. I had one bite of mine and couldnt eat any more. I got a ham & cheese in its place. That was tolerable, though not enjoyable. It was very salty, and some part of it I couldnt isolate seemed incongruently sweet. Our dog was happy with both when we got home, though. 😕

Very basic co-op with some nice local products, but nothing really special, unfortunately. I came from a place where I shopped almost exclusively at a co-op to here, where I quickly found that they dont have anything I really want, need, or cant get somewhere else. In almost three years of infrequent use, I dont think anyone has ever asked if I want to become a member or explained how to become one.

I love their egg salad and its a good health food store

A nice low-key atmosphere where you can find all the healthy food and organic treats you need... Without the overwhelm of Earth Fare LOL. They have a great management team and super friendly checkouts. A nice space to sit and eat or drink coffee upfront and do work.

Kinda pricey, but still competitive prices when you consider that youre getting organic fresh food item. The deli is delightful tasty and cooked to perfection. Professional, friendly and warm staff members allows you to feel like youre the ONLY customer every time you shop.

They have a wonderful food bar.They have groceries available that I can not get in Lexington or anywhere else close to where I live.

Fun to hunt down the prepared foods that are marked down to sell in the next day. Helpful staff.

Whenever Im in the Roanoke area, I try to make a point of stopping by here. A huge selection of stuff that is hard to find elsewhere, as well as some locally produced items. There is also a little cafe in the store to get something fresh and tasty for lunch or dinner.
