Shows up as Merle Norman Cosmetics for Google. This Is Becker Village Mall. Its the place time left behind.... Nothing here unless you indoor walk.
Worked my first job there at Giovannis pizza back in 96. Long gone by now, I know. Miss those days.
I dont remember going there BUT if Google maps say so 🤷🏽♀️
Did not go. Was in the vicinity of it only.
Local owned businesses operating in here. Have a really great hydroponic/organics shop I’m there. Full Spectrum hydroponics. Also a cool Veterans Museum. Go through and support them. Show small business can still make it.
Clean, well stocked and Janice is a hoot, will help you with anything
The upside of the mall is they have graciously housed the Roanoke Valley Veterans Museum for almost 11 years. Mall could use a makeover and seek new tenants. A lot of potential still in this once iconic location.
Empty shell of a mall. exterior dirty and dingy. not well lit. one gets sense of unease if walking the interior...like you might mugged at any moment. Its a shame as it once used to be a really nice mall for the area but thats a bygone era.
Not a lot of stores. It is definitely still in recovery mode but if you have kids there are two places you should really check out. The bounce n bounce place. It was very reasonable priced for a place like that. It was cleaned and well organized. The laser tag leaves a little to be desired with the older children, 10+ but the younger ones seem to enjoy it. I havent tried out the new place yet, Kidz world. It wasnt opened was why I didnt try it out.
The mall is pretty empty for the most part but the few stores that are open are nice. especially the people. Full spectrum hydroponics just opened but the owner of the store is kind and the store is slowly getting set up but definitely something worth checking out.
Used to be a bustling spot to shop and gather. Awesome pizza joint with an arcade and loads of nice shops. Now its an empty shell of a structure. A walking track for folks and just a sad fading memory for the Roanoke valley. I hope the new owners have their hands full but I hope they can breathe some fresh air into it.
Mall is dead. Few stores no food, no teenage based stores no mass retailer.. Its pretty much dead. Parking lot is a jungle and falling apart. I believe its the mills fault no one wants to come to this mall when firstly you must crawl into it while holding your breath.. No non local revenue equals failed project. Pretty sad actually.
A very sad place to be. Not a place to shop. Empty. Used for people to walk. Has a few stores in it I believe. Major retailers are all gone. Hard to see a place I grew up with that used to be the place to hang out, shop, eat and be a teen and a place to bring your kids. :(
Its a really cool grow shop in the mall...the guys in there will teach you about cbd products and the health benifits that come along with them
Daughter loved the mall. Wanted to go do bounce house but did not have time. will have to come back and spend a day there again
It is basically empty. The owners and/or the city need to work with some vendors to bring in revenue. Definitely not as it used to be.
The mall is pretty empty but there are some stores open and the people are very nice and friendly! Full Spectrum Hydroponics just opened and is worth getting check out .
Wish we had a mall. I understand that there’s no money in this town. empty mall😞
I visited Bojangles at Becker Mall. Fantastic service. Ben is an above and beyond store manager. Mrs. Betty and Mrs. Lydia are professional in appearance and service.
Love my MN ladies! Ive been shopping there for over 20 yrs.
It a mall in recovery mode. A lot of stores are vacant and they need some better anker stores. I am afraid it might turn into one of those flea market places if they dont get some big names back in there.
Had a great time with friends relaxing in talking at the casino the people were so friendly
Only casino in mall but great opportunity for local businesses people to renovate and start that business you always wanted
If u dont have kids to go to the bounce house party zone, or a couple hair places rhen JC Pennys is the only thing there, and they have downsized a lot. Better shopping online. The best thing to do is walk.
Not much here any more. Its a shame i would love to see it back up and running..
New store in Becker Village Mall!!! Full Spectrum Hydroponics is bringing folks back into the mall to shop. Support your local businesses and they will support the community.
Exercise moment. Atmosphere was transmatic.
This definitely isnt a mall anymore. Waste of space
Lol this is not a mall. Other than a few thrift and consignment shops, the last retail store (jcpenny) closed earlier this year (2017).
It has a clean and nice looking acceptable scenery and has a good smell.
A very sad experience from when the Mall flourished many years ago. Its a hallow shell of a building that people use as a walking track. So sad.
Its nothing there this place needs to be shut down or put more storrs there
This mall is near closure, all major stores have relocated in previous years, and only a few locally owned businesses are found inside. Many of which only are open a few hours a few days a week.
Fine
Great mall for walking around. Friendly people
The MALL.has mold and u can smell it and ingest it while you walking in there. So u kinda getting sick just by being in there
This poor, tired mall... If JCP closes, this mall needs to go with it. smh...
There is really nothing there any more . Its sad
I miss this place...I wish it would reopen the stores...its sad that it is empty now
Not many stores left, But they have an awesome VETERANS MEMORIAL.
Dead! Nothing there..goodbye good times from 20 plus years ago when the mall was the place to be
There is a lot of open space for stores but the ones that are there such as the book store and a veterans museum which is open to the public
Not much in the mall currently but definitely check out Full Spectrum Hydroponics, a new store, the guys are pretty helpful with all gardening needs whether vegetables, flowers. or specialty gardening.
Nothing here but bojangles and they are very slow
Nothing in there worth the trip. JCPenny is about the only store surviving. And that stores selections of clothing are poor
Nice place
Tear it town. Abandoned building
They are great very pleasant, and helpful.
Its sad all that space and no store how stupid
Nothing inside but jcpenny.. A few mom and pop shops all overpriced
Almost shut completely down.
Great shopping c enter
Nothing there and very hot
Really nice people
Nothing here. Used to be something in the 90s.
I wish there was stuff in the mall like it was years ago..
Good place to walk
Nice place
Not established anymore. Deserted
Not many store here anymore great for walking the track inside for exercise.
They shouldnt have closed what little mall we had in Roanoke rapids
Its a sad reminder that online stores are killing retail stores.
All other stores are gone except JC Penny
What a waste of building!!! Nothing there anymore. People just use it to mall walk. Boo
Fish table... oh yeaaaa
I think this place is closed and they just left the doors open
The place is not what it used to be
Theres really no shops in here..
Is not a mall.
Not a mall anymore
Its has no stores
It is abot to shut down
A shadow of what it used to be
Its okay
Almost nothing here and starting to look run down
Need a few things
A shell of what it was years ago
They need to add more places to the mall
Empty
Its almost out of business
My fiance got me fly for my sidepiece
Almost no more stores left here.
Cheesecake Factory
There nothing in the mail.
Cold. No heat
Fun
Its a dying mall
A slow death.
No good stores
Great visit
Awful mall
