Fran and I were impressed with Keith when he helped uson our visit to the showroom. He was very knowledgeableand patient while helping us narrow our search. When he visited ourhome, he was punctual an courteous and provided us accurateand helpful information. The installer he chose was also a big plus.We would recommend Keith for a salesperson.
We could not recommend Carpetland more highly. The salesperson Keith Perrin was so wonderful to work with and is one of the most responsive professionals we have had the pleasure to work with on any type of work in our home. And the carpet installers, Mike and Mark, were just amazing. Fast excellent work which included safely moving all the furniture out of and back into each of the 4 areas we carpeted. They staged their tools and materials in our garage and left both it and the parts of the house they installed the carpet in absolutely pristine after the job was done. Plus they were just fun to have around for two days and our crazy dog fell in love with both of them. We adore the new carpet and are very grateful that we had the Carpetland staff and crew on our team.
Great deal with fast and friendly service. Very happy with my new carpet! Thank you Keith and Santos!
I gave one-star only because the carpet seems to be of high quality. Working with the sales team to pick our carpet wasnt an issue. We were moving into a new home so we were happy that they scheduled installation for the next week. We were told that the removal of old carpet and installation of the new would take 2 days. If you didnt already know, they use 3rd party installers, so you really dont know what youre going to get. We got a 70 year old with man with really only use of one hand. We were told we could have gotten a 2-man crew but this guy was a great installer.Long story short, our promised 2 day installation took 6 days. We had to have the installer come back twice to fix several areas. 2 months later, the carpet is coming out of every door seam. We voiced our installation concerns to the salesman and while he did contact the installer to get the job finished, he stated because they wanted to make sure they got paid. No, first priority should be that it get done correctly.Well go somewhere else the next time we need flooring.
I had a wonderful experience purchasing carpet and vinyl flooring from Carpetland USAs Roanoke South location. From a no-pressure sale, to fast and professional installation, the whole process was seamless. I want to thank Keith Perrin, who helped me choose the right products for the particular applications I needed, and the installers for their attention to detail. I was a little worried about how the vinyl flooring would look, as we had linoleum tiles in one area of our bathroom and carpet in another, so the floor needed to be leveled, and the vinyl flooring had to be laid around a radiator, but it actually looks like the floor went down first! These guys really know what they are doing!
FROM DISASTER TO GREATNESS...had all new carpet installed in newly painted house October 2018. The installers were rude, argued amongst themselves all day, and did a horrible job. They did so much damage that. Carpetland had to refund $300, in order to have our painter come back and fix walls. Some things cant be fixed, such as gouges in molding where carpet was cut (see below picture.) After 3 months the carpet started releasing to where pieces where sticking up, and could be picked up (see pictures below.) I called Carpetland and requested someone come out to fix it. They wanted to send the same installer but I insisted they send someone else. THANK GOODNESS they sent Gabe!!!! I truly cannot say enough good about Gabe. He looked at the issues and rather than trying to just fix the problems, he went back to the store manager, Blane, and after only a few hours I received a phone call offering to replace ALL of the carpet. Gabe did the installation and it looks truly phenomenal!!! Would highly recommend anyone in need of carpet ask for Gabe!!!!
If you need any flooring needs go see Michele Moseley. She has great customer service and measures everything. She will help you all the way through.
We recently had Somerset Engineered hardwood flooring installed throughout the first floor of our home - 1350 sq. ft.. Our salesperson Keith spent a lot of time going over the pros and cons of all of their flooring products and we were able to make an informed decision about which product would be best for our home. He was very knowledgeable and guided us through the entire project seamlessly including financing. When the flooring arrived he personally delivered it to our house so that it could acclimate before the installation. Our 2 installers, Chris and Luke arrived on time on the scheduled install day. They were professional, neat, answered all of our questions, and solicited our opinion at some key areas. They were extremely careful when they moved our furniture and used the empty boxes to protect the flooring at all times. We had decided on a pattern of: one 3 wide board, one 5 wide board, two 3 boards, two 5 boards, and then repeat. They carried this pattern throughout the install and we couldnt be happier with the result. The flooring and trim look spectacular. Chris and Luke cleaned up after themselves each night and left the house spotless.I would highly recommend Carpetland USA for your next flooring install and if you choose wood, make sure Keith sends Chris and Luke to do the install.
Very pleased with overall experience. Salesman Keith Perrin very knowledgeable about products.Installers. 3 Guys. Great work, showed up on time and worked efficiently. Cleaned up. And did walk through. Will highly recommend.
We just had our carpet replaced by Carpetland. Our experience was truly customer focused from the beginning of the sale and throughout the installation.
We had flooring installed in our vacation home a few weeks ago. The two guys who came out were professional and did a very nice job. There was one area where I asked if they could put a piece of molding and they were accommodating. I would use again. And, the floors look beautiful. As a matter of fact, I am going to use them to put new carpet on my stairwell. :)
Honest and friendly staff and man my floor looks good thank you guys
Not a pleasant experience. I went to the store on Plantation Rd in Roanoke. I was looking for a carpet remnant to do a small bedroom 10 x 9 and a small closet 2 X 5 I gave the measurements to the salesperson and also let him know I only wanted to spend a minimum amount of money as I was unsure if I was going to place the house on the market or continue to keep the residence, but either way I needed to spruce up some. I was told I needed a 12 X 15 piece of carpet. CARPET LAND do the math. A 12 X 9 would be enough to do the room and still have a piece left over the size of 2 X 9 for the closet. Your sales person tried to get me to buy an extra 72 feet that was unnecessary. After not seeing a remnant that would work I looked at some laminate flooring that was on sale and went back to the salesperson to give me a price. He acknowledged me but yet went to take a phone call while I waited. Once I gave him the info on the flooring I was interested in he stood up and said he would be right back. If you consider fifteen minutes right back (I do not) he did return and gave me a price of $1, 150 which included labor and I was told that was a discount. Plus I had to move my own furniture and take up the existing carpet. While this whole time my discount still included the 72 unnecessary feet I didnt even need. I work in customer service and I would NEVER treat somebody the way I was treated. Your company has built a name for itself so I am sure my opinion doesnt mean anything as there are plenty of other people out there to be taken advantage of. If just one person takes this as a warning I feel like I have helped someone else out. I bought kitchen flooring from you years ago and was very pleased. You were a big disappointment on this visit and I will not be back nor recommend you to anybody.
Had new carpets put in 6 years ago . They look great but need stretching. When we went back today they said it will be done at no charge. I will most definitely be back for any flooring or tile needs.
As landlords we buy a lot of carpet but were not carpet layers were just picky about the quality of carpet we get Carpetland is always been super on giving his great price letting is pick and choose what we want storing it until were ready.Blain has been a fantastic salesman and anybody who can make my wife happy deserves our business
We had a wonderful experience at Carpetland. Our salesman was very helpful and our new floor is gorgeous. We highly recommend it.
Not at all happy with carpet installation. Daughters room had noticeable hump under carpet. Seams at doors are very visible. Waterfall installation on steps has bulges and I have also noticed small gap between the wall and carpet. I can actually feel the tack strip. Manager came to my home and agreed to have installers come make repairs. It was same guys! Really? I was told they would be different installers. Not only was that awkward for me I did not feel like they were actually being critical of their own work. They fixed the hump in my daughters room sort of. Its still there but not as big. Explained away the bulging on the stairs as normal for waterfall installation & could not do anything about the very visible seams. The manager had told me there were ways to make the seams less visible. One way is shaving whatever that means. The installers just told me to vacuum it differently. Sad thing is there has been NO follow-up to confirm my problems had been resolved. Not using them ever again and we do have other carpet that needs to be replaced. They are getting 2 stars instead of 1 because I do like the carpet
Not the carpet I ordered and the Installers cut the carpet in the middle of the road by doing so they brought gravel and dirt into the house, hadnt been down about 2years the carpet is buckling up all over, will not ever buy anything from there again
I use to install carpet for these people and they expect the installer to do the work for a lot less money than I made 20 years ago. This is why the installers generate repairs from their work. I was made to repair and reinstall a lot of the work done in the past by other installers until the financial collapse hit.
Excellent help on a elementary school related projected which we needed a carpet tube!
Flooring install was a nightmare. For one, they got there at 1PM for an appointment at 10AM.After install, flooring has air bubbles under it and corners cut in installing. When placing wax ring and toilet back did so improperly and toilet now leaks. Had to call a plumber and pay to have my bathroom fixed and a another flooring person to fix the original install. But thats OK right... because I have the extra flooring from the roles I bought to give to these new workers who I have to pay. Nope... the Carpetland installers drove off without getting my to sign any sort of approval that I was happy with the work or waiting to see if the toilets would leak when water cut back on etc. and took all the materials including what I purchased with them.Do yourself a favor and stay far far away. Lowes or home depot can point you in the direction of a local flooring professionals that will do a better job at a reasonable price. Lesson learned.edit 1/26/15 | Had to hire a contractor to finish the job and had credit car charge back install fee only. Carpet Land waited a month and then called the credit card company to try and push through the install fee without me noticing. Never contacted to resolve issue despite emails with picture and explanations I was told from THEIR installers. Still 1 star for such a horrible and now apparently ongoing experience which will hopefully just be over with soon....
They came to replace my tile in my dining room & my whole living room & kitchen were covered in dust. They didnt have the decency to put a tarp up to try to help the dust stay out. They also left their trash left around my dining room
Quick and through.
Salesman Keith was very helpful!
Great selection of flooring and good prices
Great an friendly place👍🙂
6 1/2 hours to put carpet in 1 room. $2500 for 1 room of carpet and I got to clean up after they were done. Unacceptable Carpetland will never return for anything ever. Called to complain got nowhere.
They work their warehouse guy to hard in my opinion,,, just my opinion
Friendly staff even though they didnt have what I was looking for, they were professional enough to suggest where I might find it.
Great service
