I took my Honda Pilot to Roanoke Wreck Repair recently to get a estimate for repair after someone backed into it in the parking lot at work. I was greeted by shop manager Mitch Whatley and he was very polite and professional. He assessed the damage, took photos and could have easily talked me into a fairly expensive repair, but he didnt. Instead, he said lets try something. He grabbed a bottle of rubbing compound and went to work. He took care of nearly all the damage and told me I could bring it back in warmer weather and he would hit it with touch up paint. All for no charge. I appreciate the honesty and integrity he showed in steering me away from a repair that would have been over $700 for minor damage because of the nature of the repair. While the shop could have made money, they chose integrity over profit so that tells me how they would treat my vehicle or anyone elses when it comes through their doors. Oh and by the way the estimate they gave me beat a competitors price. I would recommend Roanoke Wreck Repair to anyone!

Heard nothing but good things about this company but my experience is a totally different story. Had my car repaired there after an accident and was not impressed by the work. After I got my car back the power mirror does not work but did before hand. He thought I was a random guy with no idea what was up with my car but unknown to him I have been under cars and diesel trucks my entire life and do all my own mechanic work and this was the first time I have had a car in a shop in 25 years of driving. Maybe he can pull the wool over random peoples eyes but Im a different person all together. My headlight wires have been spliced and rigged up so poorly that they short out everytime I hit a bump . I was showed pictures of my wires all messed up and told that they were like that prior to service what he didnt know was I had recently replaced both headlight bulbs for white blue halogen bulbs and upgraded both fog lights and there wasnt any sign of splicing at that time. He then continued to show me a receipt for a front end alignment saying nothing was really wrong under the front end. After driving the vehicle I had another front end shop check and it hadnt been aligned and the axle and strut assembly were both damaged. So in all the power mirrors no longer work nor does the heated and cooling seat and both did prior to his work. And was misinformed about the suspension damage and axle damage . But for the actual body work I was pleased. But anything else I would not recommend this shop. The mechanics on duty wouldnt know their own a%@ from a hole in the ground .

I was recommended to come here from my insurance company which made me a little hesitant. They did a wonderful job on my vehicle; its truly as if nothing ever happened. Even though I was not paying out of pocket for the full price of the repair I loved the detailed report showing what was replaced, the labor time per item, paint cost per item, and even where they had received the parts. Fingers crossed I hope I dont need their services again but if so I will certainly take my vehicle back here.

This body shop is under new ownership and have a new location that is much nicer than the one previous. The service was great and all of the staff members were extremely attentive to my vehicle. They definitely exceeded my expectations with their work, they even went out of there way to fix some areas on my car that wasnt involved with the actual damage being fixed. If you want to get honest and trusting body work done to vehicle go here, this is the best shop I have been to in the Roanoke Valley. Roanoke Wreck Repair handled the repairs on our daughters Murano after it was hit while parked on her street. They were referred to us through our insurance company. In all honesty, I had never even heard of them or knew anything about their business before this because we haven’t really needed body repairs. I don’t often write reviews on companies but I have to take time to write one for this! My daughters vehicle looks amazing! They had the repairs done in a timely manner, stayed in touch with us throughout and the staff were so very friendly. I cannot get over how amazing her vehicle looks. They even cleaned out the inside of her car before returning it to her. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Roanoke Wreck Repair is an excellent business. My wife had her Acura repaired here when they were at their other location, before they moved to Seibel Dr NE. The owner Bill is a bit of an awkward guy and he talks a little bit too much but I liked him and my wife liked him too. The other staff were very friendly and we appreciate their professionalism, especially over the phone. Cookie at their old location (not sure if she is at their new location) always had the best phone etiquette. When you spoke to her over the phone, she had a nice, smooth, and calm way of speaking and she spoke in such a manner that she didnt even have to say We got you covered. By the way Cookie spoke and her professionalism on the phone, you could tell without her even saying it. When we have any other problems with our vehicles, we will probably bring them here!

I have been trying to get my Tahoe fixed since may and this is my 4th time just trying to get the correct mirror for it and on the last try I was supposed to wait there for them to replace it but I decided to give them plenty of time to fix it so I left for a few hrs and came back just to find out they ordered the wrong mirror again and not even a phone call to let me know instead had to wait for 20 mins when I got back for them to put my door back together and still no mirror on. Will never go back here for any work and will definitely not recommend to anyone to use this place.

I had a car repaired here the paint didnt match at all. One spot rusted threw that was repaired. I was very disappointed! The company wont repair the bad body work stating they didnt warranty rust.

Buddy had a car repaired at Roanoke Wreck. Paint wasnt even a good match.. Bill OBrien was annoying. Avoid. I like their response to another customer... Google needs to grow up hahaha.

The experience was horrible. They made me wait a month to drop my car off. Said it would take 2 days which it only took 3, but when I went to pick the car up I looked it over and it still had the spots in the paint. I went in the office and they gave me the paper work, were they charged my insurance 200 more then they quoted, and was going to let me walk out the door with my car not fixed. I made them come look at my car and explain to them they didnt fix it. So they wanted to keep the car to talk to insurance. (this made me mad cause i wasted an hour and half to the shop and another hour and half back and gas which they were aware of). This was on a thursday.. was not untill tuesday did they call me. Then they tell me I have to take my car else where cause they do not want to reclear coat the car. so i have to drive back over, drop the rental off, pick my car up and now have to find a new shop to actually repair the car. Not only that but wasted a week worth of the money im allowed for my rental car for this repair. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!!
