This was not what I was expecting when looking for an Asian market. I was very pleasantly surprised. The woman that works there is amazing, and the entire place is filled with beautiful objects and plants. Strongly recommend stopping by!! :)

This is a really cool, completely authentic Asian market store with a pretty wide variety of Asian food styles (Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Thai, Cambodian, etc.) This is a great place to find those niche items and ingredients that you just cant get at bigger grocery stores. Good honest prices all the way around too.

They have everything here and if they somehow dont, the owners will order it for you. Super friendly. The owners make you feel like family.

Had a huge selection of items but you have to watch out for expired food sitting on the shelf. Picked up quite a few items that were out of date, one was from 2019 its 2021...

Great selection and variety of shelf stable, refrigerated, frozen, and fresh foods, but hard to navigate labels and such if you dont speak any Asian languages or have a good translator. The clerks English was very limited as well.

Nice store with abundace of options. Loved the huge selection of plants out front, from water lillies to cacti; I was impressed. It also looks as though they have dishes for sale, displayed behind and around the check out counter. Only stipulation that I have is that last I was there I purchased a package of imitation crab. Didnt realize until I got home that it had expired seven years ago(2013). Got a bit of food poisoning, so just make sure to double check expiration dates.

Awesome market for all of your Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc. cooking. They have hard to find authentic ingredients. Owners are so nice. Dont hesitate to go into the back. They keep lights off to conserve energy and there is a whole other store back there. They sale plants too!

Great place. So many cool plants. But watch out. They glue flowers onto some of the plants and paint a few to make them look better. Most of the time its obvious so you can make your decision yay or nay but Ive missed a few due to the dim lighting. The picture attached is a cactus I bought that actually really did bloom. Very beautiful !

Wide selection of items throughout the store with friendly owners very willing to help find what youre looking for. With the number of items in the store I think its difficult for them to keep up with expiration dates so just keep an eye out.

I love visiting this mom and pop store. They have a great selection of groceries, and a ton of other stuff. I love the cooking advice from the lady. They also have a neat selection of plants. Everyone should stop by that enjoys cooking and eating Asian cuisine!

This is our favorite asian market to visit in Roanoke. All though small there is a wide variety of items for sale. The couple that runs it are very nice people and knowledgeable of the items they sell or if they have certain things in stock you may be looking for. The outside is very beautiful with many kinds of flowers, herbs and vegetables.

The best selection of Thai ingredients I found in Roanoke! The owners are exceptional, friendly, and helpful. It’s hard to match the offerings you’d find in Seattle but a side from not having Thai Chili paste (Nam Prik Pao) in stock I got what I needed!

I was passing through Roanoke and was looking for another market. I got to the room with packages of noodles. I picked one up to see what they were and there were roaches under the bag. I left immediately. Gross!

Eclectic Place chock-full of asian staples. The best kimchi in Roanoke, though. The store owner makes it fresh every day. Also great if you like knick-knacks ;)
