My fist experience was made pleasant due to a young man by the name of Jah who was very knowledgeable friendly and personable he has created a repeat customer who loves music but has little knowledge on what works well thanks to Jah keep your positive ways oh and continue to enjoy the music I was just assisting my DJ friend wound up with a new sound system

Well they had exactly what I was looking for some inexpensive light gauge phosphorus bronze strings for an acoustic guitar. I got them home put them on and they sounded great they were the Martin brand. Price was reasonable the service was fast, the parking was great. Thank you no complaints. I do wish they had a better selection of quality used guitars but the associate told me they sell as soon as they get them.

Was definitely a friendly environment. I felt so comfortable playing the bass for the first time. I think I was there until the store closed. Friendly employees. Great instructors. Love the atmosphere. Im going back next week to make a purchase honestly cant wait.

Jah and his co-workers are prepared to give you the solution your looking for. Feels like home and this is the best guitar center I have been to thus far.

Fantastic staff. Everybody was great, but Vic and Steve went above and beyond. Helped do some minor adjustments to my guitar, gave me some tips about its care and maintenance, and did it all without making me feel like the rookie that I am.I really appreciated their patience and approach. No cool guy attitude that you get from some guitar shops. It can be mildly intimidating as a new player to navigate the early failures and missteps of learning the guitar. If youre looking to buy a guitar, this is a great place to start in my opinion. Ive had nothing but good experiences here.

I’ve been a customer for 25+ years and have never been treated the way I was treated today. I went into the Moreno Valley store with my 5 year old son to replace a cymbal and one of the employees “ Wyatt” cranked up the PA so loud that my son son started covering his ears and crying. Another costumer notice because his young daughter was doing the same thing and asked Wyatt to turn it down. He didn’t and when I approached him he told me that he was attempting to sell it to a customer and basically too bad. He was extremely rude. I’ve been a customer of Guitar Center for at least 25 years and have probably spent almost 75k at your stores over the years. I will never step foot into Guitar Center ever again. I do want to add that the manager Kyle was friendly and tried to make things good but the damage is already done. I will buy all of my music equipment elsewhere.

Jaw was very helpful and informative on my piano purchase. Unfortunately the store didn’t have what I was looking for but he was still able to answer my questions and showed me closely related pianos in store.

Larry is a superb gentleman working at this store, while he stated he is an instructor there and not a salesperson, he was very helpful in explaining some of the different acoustic guitars and showing me how the strings played. I am glad he was there to help me pick out my first one, thanks Larry you rock.

This location is pretty small but it is well organized. I walked in and went to the section that I was interested in and looked around. It was great that they still had products out to demo, and they left a container of clorox wipes for people to wipe stuff down before touching it.What was not awesome was the fact that all the associates were just standing around the counter jamming out and chit chatting amongst each other. I had to flag someone down to get help. They were helpful, but still kinda stunk that I had to go find someone to give me advice.

Didnt have what I needed. Not very informed on there other locations. Not so customer friendly.

Everyone was really nice! I was helped quickly and had a great time. Got my bass guitar stringed and it didnt take very long at all. Chatted with a guy there, he was pretty neat! He said hell remember my last name since it was so peculiar, haha. That guy had a great personality and definitely improved my experience. It was quite a drive but I would definitely come back. You might find those pictures start to get bigger brighter closer louder at the guitar center and the salesman was very polite and knowledgeable on all the products, plus he played guitar whichonce a bonus because I purchased my first acoustic guitar, and had a immediate checking out process and salesman was thorough on his cash register, kudos to the guitar center and the polite salesman.

Excellent, floor manager took the time to help me as I didnt have much knowledge of what exactly needed to purchase.

A friend of mine died recently. He was a jazz guitar player. I took several of his guitars to the Guitar Center and they gave us a very reasonable Honest Price.

Stop by today 2-19-21, would have like to buy a Guitar. But store was almost Empty. And no one to help me. But I did Manage to talk to someone, but no help.The employee talked me out of get a Guitar. (Lol). ( Imagine that!)

Helpful Staff, my companion thought the Fender sale was goodIf you dont mind generic you can get it online.. they didnt have a sale as big as black Friday pre sales used to be or their chapter 11 would imply..they must only be recouping lost sales operating costs and staying open with regular prices not clearancing prices or Inflated prices. They usually operate at what you would expect to pay retail...do go there if youve figured on getting brand names.on

Reasonable prices most of the employees are nice and helpful except one short older blonde female at the register. Many instruments to look at, they also have a little repair shop and you can sign up for music lessons.

Had a special need on 2/26/2020. I called and Jennifer helped me. Even though they were not making any money by helping me they were very nice and helpful. I dont know how you stay in business. I went to Redlands and order a Martin guitar, they said there are 300 orders ahead of you It would take till March to get yours is I said ok no problem.... Less than 2 weeks I got an email saying my order was in. I was really looking forward to see my new guitar., SMH they sent me a used guitar.I was investigating 1500 dollars in a used... Really!?I will not do business with you for any reason.

Just average...staff is helpful, but try to upsell...but if you know what you want youll be fine..was surprised at the dismal shape of the electric drum area and the lack of drum hardware out on the floor, but all in all it is ok .

Did have a problem.... David OBrien, and Michael Santos resolved it. I would recommend GC. Furthermore I did like the hand sanitizer at the door and check out. Plus they had free mask to public if you didnt have one.

Great location. We walked in and were greeted by a nice fella with dreadlocks. He greeted us and asked if we needed help. What we needed happened to be out on display. He went over with us, helped us fit our guitar, and found cases for all our other guitars.The price was right for the large case we got and the smaller cases. We left spending $400 less than we expected to spend.

Customer Service is great and they have a good selection of Acoustic Guitars. It doesnt really get crowded like other Guitar Centers but it does not have that big of a selection of instruments. If you want to really try a lot of guitars before you buy, you might have to venture somewhere else. Used Gear is surprisingly good here and the techs know their stuff. Youll probably find what youre looking for here if you already know what you want.

Store had no fender guitars

Second time dropping in and buying guitar strings at this store.Second time of a 10 minute wait at an open register while employees ask everyone around me if they have been helped yet.Clearly you all are looking to make commission and my paltry purchase does not interest you in the slightest. But, you carry strings. Which means I must have a stringed instrument. And who know when I will see something that catches my eye in your store or hear something that catches my ear?Except that this was the chance I was giving you guys to make up for the last time I apparently darkened your doorway and received incredibly poor service.Sad.Music is a joy and I remember when the employees of a music store used to reflect that. I have also made online purchases of instruments because an employee enthusiastically helped me make that decision in spite of not being able to touch or hear my guitar until it arrived.I like to give store fronts a chance, but like most others I am making online purchases all the more often simply to avoid such lousy experiences.You lovely people have a job because people like me come into your store.Except I wont waste my time again or yours with a small purchase.

Guitar center is Guitar Center. Except this one is a bit smaller than the rest. Not very big selections on most everything, just the basic. But they will find it for you online. Service us better than most GC Ive been to. The guitar tech Steve is by far the best Ive seen. Hell handle your axe as if it was his. Id give it more stars but the selection they have is very small.

By far Guitar Center in Fresno is the best. Went to Guitar Center in Moreno Valley. Not so great service, pleanty of pianos, guitars etc. I only have one gripe. Almost all the keyboards didnt have any foot pedals. I felt cheated. I drove all the way from Corona to play the pianos. I didnt bother to ask staff about providing a foot pedal. Why? If they being musicians dont see the need nor care if a customer gets what he needs to try out a piano in full mode.Then that tells me their leadership isnt about to go out of their way to accommodate a potential customer. By now every employee at Guitar Center knows that there are no foot pedals at almost every piano. So as I was going from piano to piano (There were only two other customers present) not one single employee went over to assist me. I found that distasteful being that I was hoping someone would bring me a foot pedal. I play piano excellently. Not sure if Ill go back. At Guitar Center in Fresno the employees allow groups to practice together using Guitar Center instruments. I didnt feel that atmosphere there. I also play guitar. I went over to the guitar section and there were no cords to plug in an amplifier. What the heck? I didnt like the atmosphere. It was as they dont want you to play.

I called 4 times trying to see stock availability of studio equipment.. never got an answer.

I shop here usually every week. I have a recording studio, and the staff at Guitar Center know how to be welcoming. They know product placement like the back of their hand. And I would rather shop at this Guitar Center than the location in Murrieta.

Half of the items you buy is either an open box store display, or a used broken item. They will still charge you for the new item price, which I always contest them whenever I receive a used or open boxed store display item. I always return until they get it right. Just a warning if you shop their stores or website.

I have an old Yamaki Custom guitar...one of the lawsuit guitars of that period. The tuning gears were shot and it needed a setup. I called GC and talked to a great tech named Chris who urged me to bring my axe in to Steve on the following day. Steves face lit up the moment he saw my almost 50 year old baby. He promised me he would have it ready. When I picked it up, he stayed late to witness my reaction . Wow! This guy is a master ..the gears were installed, I picked the guitar the bridge was glued, and a great setup was performed. The guitar played and sounded like a Martin. Steves pride, patience and enthusiasm have given my music a reboot. If you ever need work done on your axe, take it to Moreno Valley GC.

Was told I could pick up my item via curbside and Im here at 4:15pm and the lady inside just looks at me and doesnt answer the phone. This is ridiculous!!

We made two major purchases both Christmas 2017 & 18 and thought we bought brand new items only to find missing items and software, last year we let it go but this Christmas we went back to re purchase a closed box hopefully with everything in tack, we had the item shipped to the San Jose store where my son lives and yesterday it came in and guess what ? They gave him an open box missing the power cord and USB cord :( Ugh! IF YOU PLAN on purchasing brand new items or anything from them you better triple check your getting ALL software, cords, and so on. WONT BE GOING BACK!

The associate who took care of me, Gary was such a help. He helped me pick out a case and strap. I got everything I needed. Any kind of accessories you could want, this place has.
