We did not end up doing business here but after visits to many many dealerships over a period of weeks it was nice to have a pleasant interaction.We were not swarmed in the parking lot like at most dealerships but were greeted right away when we went inside. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering water and assistance in finding the right vehicle for us.The only improvement I would say is that sometimes the salesman came off very scripted.. they are trained to give specific responses when a customer is unsure of moving forward with a purchase and our salesman was definitely well rehearsed in that training. Not a bad thing, he was still very polite, but it made the conversation seem less personal and more scripted.

Took my 18 MDX in for service and overall experience was excellent. Was met by Angel the advisor that took the time to listen to my needs and at the end, he reviewed what was done to vehicle and explained the results. Spreen did a very nice job washing and cleaning the vehicle upon completion. I recently moved to AZ and my customer experience with dealer near me (17 TLX svc) didnt meet my high expectations. Thus now on my trips to CA, I make time to take my vehicle(s) to Spreen when necessary...much more professional and easier work with. Prior to Spreen purchasing dealer it was Acura of Riverside that had good service. Since Spreen purchased dealer, their service dept and customer service in my opinion is better. I have purchased or leased at least 20 Honda and/or Acura vehicles since 1984 and I have experience all levels of service; Spreen is very good and will be my first choice for maintenance service.
I came in for regular maintenance and I was having an issue with ignition where the car takes a couple of tries before it turns on. The dealer told me they tested the battery and its not it. They wanted $175 to diagnose the problem. I left and went to another dealer, they did the battery test correctly and verified that it is indeed the battery and I replaced it and now the problem is gone. Im not sure what kind of dealer that cant test their own car battery properly. The other dealer did a capacity test in which Spreen Acura did not perform.
Service clerk was polite and effective and the actual service was quick. This is my 3rd car from them over the years and they have always done great job and address any concerns you may have. Awesome team.
Dont waste your time and go to a different dealership, they use bait and switch tactics for the price just to get you in the door.Full story:So I saw a certified vehicle listed on their website at a good price. I filled out the form and got a response that the car was available. I also requested the total price including taxes and fees but the salesperson Elena Rosales would not tell me the total price. That was a red flag that I should have paid more attention to, but she only mentioned taxes/title fees/etc. so I thought it would be okay. I made an appointment for a test drive the next day.Once I arrived we did the test drive and the car was in good condition. Then we got to the price. The general rule for taxes/title fees/etc. is about 10% of the vehicle price. It can vary a little bit depending on where you reside, but I was shocked to see a huge price increase when we got to the total. There were two dealer installed options called clear coat protection and security system, totaling about 3500 dollars. During the test drive I verified the price and Elena did not mention anything about this.When I mentioned I didnt want the dealer options Elena immediately got defensive and said she would ask her manager what to do. Someone else came by and explained all dealerships now do this, we might be able to negotiate a bit but you have to buy them, market is in our favor, etc.The thing is I bought another vehicle a couple months ago when the market was just as bad for buyers, and only one out of 4 dealerships did these bait and switch tactics of not giving a price beforehand and then adding useless fake options to up the price.So yes some awful dealers will try to rip you off in anyway they can just like this dealership. But not all dealers are like that, some will put up prices and then actually honor them with no hassle. Go to one of those honest dealerships they deserve your business, dont come here and waste hours of your time for nothing.
Our Service Adviser, Bobby, was great!!! He listened to my concerns and provided an accurate time when my service would be completed. He showed excellent customer service to all of the customers. (I heard him on a phone call)

Im quite certain that Im reiterating other customers review on how great Spreen Acura treated them. The streak continues to my familys experience. My wife is due with our next baby and we wanted a bigger vehicle.Jerimiah was sitting next to the front door (he should get his own office, to be honest) and greeted us on a warm Saturday afternoon. We wanted a used 2018 7-seater SUV and he gladly showed us their inventory. Many to choose from and we were indecisive on which trim we wanted.After showing the used lot, he mentioned their last President Day Lease special on their 2020 lines with 0.9%APR. Needless to say, we walked away with a great offer on a new 2020 Acura MDX. Jerimiah wasnt pushy at all and just showed us the benefits of the special. Bobby was a pleasure to deal with. He made the process simple since our phone call. Dropping off the car was simple and hassle free. He was also informative about what I needed to be done and all my options so I can make the right decision. He was also very communicative about the process and when the car was ready. I think because of him, I’ll be bring my Acura back to spreen Acura for service. I used to go to a competitor because of the trust factor. However, after today I know I have trust in Bobby at Spreen. People like himare the reasons people feel safe and comfortable bringing in their cars.
Went in asked for an oil change and didn’t get offered any other unnecessary stuff or services went in and out in 45 minutes that’s what I call not wasting my time and I’m thankful!

I had a dead battery in my car. Was able to get a jump start and drove immediately to Spreen Acura. Fortunately my battery was still under warranty. In less than a half an hour, I had a new battery and was on my way. Couldnt ask for better service.

Ordered from the Acura e-store. Waited a week to call, was told to wait longer. Called two weeks later and was told the part was discontinued. That’s fine, BUT NOBODY EVER CALLED TO LET ME KNOW!!! I passed up multiple opportunities while waiting to purchase the part elsewhere and now I can’t. Thanks a lot Spreen, don’t expect my business in the future.
WOW! Walking in here. Words can’t even describe. I walked into other dealerships previous to this one. The other places were so rude and made you feel so uncomfortable. This Acura dealership is far from that. They were all so nice and helpful, such full of knowledge my Sales rep. Her name was Natalie. Plus to me it was more comfortable because she was A woman just like me. She was so helpful. I came out with the best deal and vehicle. I can’t thank her enough. I highly recommend this dealership. It was a far drive for me it was so worth it!
Came in with an issue with my MDX that I purchase at this same dealer with alot of details. Car was not starting intermittently. I had to follow up with the service desk to get any kind of information. Part was on backorder and I was given the option to take the car since no loaners available. Was told car wash would take 10-15 mins and they had me waiting for 35 mins. Was told I would get a call by Thursday or Friday with status of the part and now its Saturday EOD with no call. My car has stopped turning on several times this week now. Thank goodness for AAA. Can anyone recommend another dealer that can resolve my issue?

I had a pleasant experience with the service department during my recent visit. The service rep (Robert Howard) exceeded my expectations.
I came to drop off my car to get it serviced, and the service has been fantastic. The shuttle service took me to In-N-Out, and the waiting room is stocked with coffee, tea and water. I also brought my laptop to get some work done while waiting for my car. This dealership is a huge improvement over the former Acura dealership that operated down the street 10+ years ago.

If Acura ever wanted a dealership on which to model the ideal service department, they should come to Acura of Riverside and deal with John. My parents have bought Acuras here over the years and my Mother continues to get her Acura serviced here. Why do I rate them so high?Because they care and have a soul. My Father passed some years ago. As my Mother is older, shes also dying from an aggressive form of cancer. What does all of this have to do with John in the Service Department?Hes ALWAYS looked out for her. Hes been honest. His integrity is unparalleled. Hes advised her honestly on recommended service. Acura of Riverside has always been honest and above board in all dealings with her.Also, their superior service is why her Acura still drives like its brand new.I cant say enough good things about this dealership, their Service Department and their Parts Department.

Bobby and Philip do a great job of taking care of my Acura 2003 MDX. Its an old car that has required decent maintenance in the last few years. They are honest about the costs and have been transparent about what needed to be fixed, even going to so far to tour the car in the mechanics shop. Oil changes, transmission, engine caps to address the check engine light are some of the things done. Wait time is still pretty long, but the lounge has snacks, coffee, outlets and there are periodical check-ins to let me know of the progress. Lately, I appreciate the safety regarding COVID-19 as everyone is wearing masks and practicing safe distancing within the facility.
One of the worst car buying experiences I have had. Multiple sales people involved all using the wrong information while not updating each other on what was going on. Finally get all the paperwork done and the car they pulled up was the wrong one in the wrong color. Now in hour 5 we are basically back to square 1.

Philip Griefnow, who was my rep both times during my visit to Spreen Acura for maintenance has been nothing but great. Aside from the wait time (during maintenance), its simply in-n-out for me. Not to mention rest of the staff at the service department that are always friendly :).
First time I take my Acura for service at this location. The service and attention provided by technician was excellent. However i give three stars only because the sensors were messed up with. the same day my MDX was serviced, I noticed that the lane assisted system and the forward collision warnings lights are on. I need to bring my car back in, but if this is a continuous problem I will not take it back to Spreen Acura again. Sorry, I like the service at my previous service dealer better. I always took my two Acuras there and never had any issues.
Everything about my first service visit at Spreen was fantastic. From the online appointment system to check in and shuttle. Shuttle back and pick up. Everyone at every point was pleasant and had great customer service skills. Will definitely recommend this dealership!!!!! My experience with the service department was just as great as my experience with the sales department was!
Beware- all used civics on this lot have history of unreported accidents that have been patched up with shoddy workmanship. Dealership will say they are accident free since there is no paper trail. Do not fall into their deception. Their prices need to be ~$2000 cheaper than they are trying to pass for.

I was forced into buying an non existing alarm for $ 995.00. Never received any literature from finance and was later told that they over allowed for my trade so they had to make up for the over allowance.
Horrible communication and disorganized... if you have your own loan, forget it! They will make you pay for it!! They’re excuse for being slow as molasses is that their bank doesn’t know how to react to money outside of their loans. They have a three day waiting period! Plus, if you come at 9... you like the car and want to take it, no one from the financing department gets there until 11! So you’ll have to wait until then! We bought the car a Friday, processing took Sat, they don’t work Sunday. They didn’t receive the funds until Monday which still took another day to see it in their bank, Tuesday comes, get here at 9 (WHEN THEY OPEN) and no one was available until 10... “printing papers “ took an hr and still had to get approved by the financing manager who got here at 10:30 ( because we rushed him)! Smiles and apologies don’t matter if your process takes for ever!

Ive been helped by Mat, Phil, and all the rest in all the times Ive been here and theyve always treated my incredibly well. One thing Im sad about is that since the company switched management, they no longer offer the Hendrick oil change package which was a huge plus.But in terms of service, I always trust the guys here at Spreen!

My experience of buying an Acura RDX was just fabulous at Spreen Acura! Britney worked with me on the pricing, the best financing rates, and any discount that I could get. She was very informative and polite and worked with me on getting a car that suited my needs and wants. And Omar took over the responsibility of going over the finer details of the entire purchase. Omar is very knowledgeable and patiently provided all information which I needed to know.Both Britney and Omar deserve a thumbs up for their professionalism, courteousness and a “no pressure” attitude.

Needed keyless remote replaced. They did not telm us we needed all keys. As a rest we had to make 3 trips in 1 week to get car fixed. Once to diagnose problem once to have it fixed and once for seco d key. 4p miles one way each time. Also when I had my car serviced bo one went over anything with me afterwards to say what they did or what I needed.

Normally the process of buying a car is something I dread. However, the staff at Spreen Acura made this the easiest purchase I’ve ever made. My salesperson Devon was incredible. Excellent pricing! Great service that went the extra mile. My salesperson delivered my vehicle to me so I wouldn’t need to repeat the drive! They also expedited the paperwork and tried to accommodate my needs as much as possible without delaying other customers in the process. Would definitely consider doing business with them again.

I was working with Edmund who was wonderful! He was so professional, dealing with him was actually a good experience. During our negotiation I kept asking for the price for the vehicle I wanted to purchase without an alarm system added and without the extended warranty. Each time he went to his manager he would not give him the numbers. After some time his manager (who I believe his name was Ryan) came out and was so rude and unprofessional, I was shocked. After he introduced himself he said Im done hackling. Weve been going back and forth with you for hours and Im done so this is what it is the alarm is not coming off of the car. If you dont want to buy the extended warranty thats up to you but I wouldnt buy a car with over 62,000 miles and no warranty. I tried to explain to him that I was physically shown how the vehicle did not have the alarm installed and would not want to purchase the alarm but he wouldnt allow me to finish instead he cut me off and said this isnt coming off...this isnt going to change...you either realize this is it and take the offer or were done by this time I was done as well, done with his unprofessionalism, and done with his eye rolling. I said thank you for your time we will be leaving. Before leaving I wanted to reiterate how professional and helpful Edmund was but he just walked away. When he was walking away he yells over his shoulder well thats good too bad your losing a good deal over $500. I was shocked. This is unacceptable behavior, not because he is a manager but because he is supposed to be a professional. This is not the type of environment I expected to encounter when I made the hour long drive with my two young children. This was a very disappointing experience to have to deal with this type of behavior.

I am amazed at the professionalism and thoroughness of this service center. When I had my car towed to these guys, I was out of there with a no cost loaner car within 20 minutes. When my car was in the shop, it was inspected and each area of the car was rated. This was great! I could see what I would need to address in the future.
