Placing the items for check out, I noticed an employee speaking to someone at the front doors, it’s 09/01/21 4ish am and there wasn’t anyone behind the counter. asked the employee at the door if one was available. He glanced at me, made a motion and said it’s self check out and went back to his conversation. I blew his RUDENESS off and rang up the items. Something failed and I had to wait for assistance. So I said to him he still had to do some work. He walked over, stopped a few feet from me, about to Pull his mask up and told me to “Step aside”. I went to CVS to clear my mind, browse and purchase an item or two. I had more than a few choice words, leaving the store empty handed. You never know what’s on the next persons mind especially this day and age. Not a good rep for CVS, some coaching and sensitivity classes would be a waste of time. His attitude needs adjusted and with that said I will never step foot in this CVS again.
Congrats CVS you’ve waisted my time yet again at this location. Over 24hrs to fill a prescription and it’s still not ready. Tried to transfer the order to another store and couldn’t because this location will NEVER answer the phones. I have now missed two doses of my medication thanks to them. Oh and I’m now late for work. Thanks for nothing CVS.
This place needs to be shut down the pharmacy division sucks..Its Sunday evening 7:40 pmI have been trying to talk with the pharmacy Ive been on hold for 2 hrs.I would not lie to you. Nobody has come to the phone. So I decided to get up and go there despite I just had a procedure done. Everyone is walking around I think that they cut off the ringer Cause I was in the store didnt hear the phone and I was still waiting.Worst service every what you dont think people need theyre medication.I wish I had another choose

Worst CVS just throw it and the workers away. My prescription was called in at 10am, its 7:35pm and still no prescription, they don’t answer the phone, at all. Sad excuse for a business. Worse place I’ve ever been I got my COVID shot 1st dose in June 15 came back on July 9 and then they told me to come back at anytime they didn’t remind me to make an appointment then they was rude and asked me did you schedule an appointment yes or no in a aggressive way the the dude in the scarf over his head ignored my when he was on the computer near the drop off didn’t even asked what I’m here for and they were rolling there eyes and proceeded to ignored me, never will be coming back here they are rude unprofessional and have no home training for them selfs.

I have been sitting in the drive through pharmacy line for an hour now and I’m still in line with 3 people in front of me. Only 1 car has moved up since I been here. The people that have came behind me have turned around. You would think they would care about the customers leaving but apparently not because they aren’t doing anything to speed up. Most pharmacies have the people drop the prescriptions off and then come back around to pick it up. I dnt know what they doing. Horrible! Also, while I’m in line, I decided to call them to see what’s taking so long and I’ve been on hold waiting on them to answer for 15min. now. Smh.
You are never able to speak with staff in the pharmacy,call hold time 40 minutes to an hour 🤬.It doesn’t matter if you call at 8pm, 12 am or 7 am…This location is open 24 hours

The female pharmacist that works overnights Saturday evenings going into Sunday is rude, unprofessional and doesnt appear to know pharmacy guidelines procedures or protocol. Every time I visit this pharmacy the same pharmacist has a different excuse to not fill my my prescription. She has zero customer service skills, and appears to hate her job. After reading all the reviews it appears many other paying customers have encountered the same poor quality service. They should just shut this location down permanently, a total waste of space in Riverdale.

I would give them a zero if I could. I dont understand how you have to wait in the Drive-Thru line for an hour just to get to the front to find out that your medication still hasnt been filled. Then they act like they have an attitude with you like the customer service is extremely bad with the pharmacy I dont understand how you can conduct business like that. On top of it they do not answer their phone at all so you cant even call them to find out if your prescription is ready for pickup. They need to fix their whole set up

Rekita is one of the BEST CVS managers I have ran into in Georgia she was extremely friendly and informative and also went through great ways to make sure you were satisfied as a customer.
Have not been in a store that smelled that bad ever. Entire store smells like pee. Carpets need to be changed asap. Will never set foot in there again.
They don’t answer the phone so don’t even try. I drove 30 minutes to get this pharmacy while on the phone trying to call in the prescriptions I needed. I managed to get there before anyone answered. I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour. 90 minutes later still not available. Please don’t waste 2 1/2 hours like I did.
The staff that is there between 4am and 8am are very helpful but if you try to get your prescriptions any other time you will get frustrated. Five people walking around behind counter and you appear to be invisible. Then they ignore all calls. Better management or new ways to serve the people who keep your jobs alive. No customer appreciation here. 🤔😟🙁
Worst CVS Ive ever been to. I visited three different times and not once did they have the medications I needed in stock. They are common medications and this CVS is directly across the street from a large hospital. Makes no sense.

The current manager at this location should not be a manager at anything. The nice lady who came to try to assist us at the photo kiosk told her when she saw her coming towards where we were that the kiosk looked like it wasn’t working correctly. (Specifically she said it was sayin please wait but it had been saying it for a good 15 mins) and all she did was say okay and kept walking. Previously my sister had a bad encounter with her as well. They clear pick anybody for the position
I wish I can NO stars. This is the WORST pharmacy I’ve have ever experienced in my entire life.Majority of the pharmacy staff are not helpful at all with bad attitudes. Don’t get me wrong, I understand they are across from the hospital and it’s the only pharmacy that is open 24 hours. Also, if you give them a call, just know you’ll be on hold for more than 30 minutes.If you’re not able to treat others with kind customer service, don’t be expected to receive it back.
This place is expensive but its my favorite pharmacy, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, the store is clean and well stocked and i can always find a gadget of some kind when i shop inside! Also they cary some grocery items, as well!!!
I don’t understand why I’ve been waiting 4 days for a prescription that should’ve been filled. And every time I call nobody answers the phone for 10 minutes or more. It’s a waste of time - if the store is truly 24 hours then why is there such a delay in medicines ? People really need them out here and they act like they truly don’t care. This CVS is a horrible store they do not answer the phone Ive been on this phone for the for an our nobody answers at all. CVS pharmacy is horrible you need some new people working there. Move the same slow people or retraining them for better customer service. Dont have to go through this at any other CVS. When they picked up the phone they hung up in my face please new people!!!! You sit in the drive-thru for 20 minutes before someone say anything. And they look right at you and keep walking. Who teaches customer service because they need it. Hire more help stop being cheap.
I would think they would act more professionally since there right across from the hospital. Whats the point of having a phone if the people working in the pharmacy dont bother to pick up the phone. The medication wasnt ready to pick up once you decide to go up there and drive-thru wait line is crazy.
This location is unorganized. Pharmacy is slow,doesnt notify you if prescription is not aavailable. The wait time is ridiculous,you will be better off searching for another pharmacy thats convenient. Poor service,wouldnt recommend unless you have nothing else to do with your time.

My experience whit this pharmacy was a horrible experience, my doctor have call in person over the 3 times so they can do my prescription, cant believe it,when i went there that carpet was durty, i dont know how they can work like that, i will never back again, i feel so embarrassed whit my doctor call him to many times because they cant do it his job ......

Being the only 24 hour pharmacy in the area should be something to take pride in. The individuals that inhabit this department. dont even seem appreciative to be in public service yet employed. Unprofessional is an understatement. No acknowledgement of your presence, the phone service is mere decoration and the area is unkept. If my love one didnt NEED this prescription, I wouldnt have visisted this location.

I have traveled many states and visited many CVS locations. This is by far the worst. Take your business elsewhere!!!!!!!! I would expect much more from a Pharmacy located just steps away from the major hospital in the area; however, your wait time is ridiculous and the staff including mangers are completely unprofessional. GOOGLE, PLEASE INCORPORATE A ZERO STAR REVIEW AS THIS PLACE DESERVE MUCH LESS.

Clean and not crowded
The pharmacist brighten up my day after sitting in SRMC with my son for hours.. It was nice to see a beautiful smile and sweet voice. U r gorgeous. Also didnt have to wait at all for my medication to be filled.

Today I called to get my daughters prescription filled. They put me on hold for 20 minutes and never came back. So I hung up and called back, immediately someone answered to help me. I told her what I need. Provided her my daughters birthdate and last name. She told me my daughter is not in their system and her prescriptions were not with CVS. She then went on to tell me that all the CVS pharmacies are linked and my daughter was not in any of the systems. Ive been filling her prescriptions with CVS for over a year. My daughter is on about 4 different prescriptions but for some reason this lady couldnt find one! Never again will I use this location, these women dont care about their jobs or their customers health. I will stick to using my CVS in the Smyrna/Vinings area. All customer service should be the same no matter where you go.
Need to do better at answering the phones, getting people meds transferred over in a timely manner. Been waiting for 40 min and still not one person has picked up the phone and this is every time. SMH sick of people working in fields that deal with customer service and dont want to do just that. Its sad and frustrating people need their medicine for a reason

Come with plenty of time... they have to check if they have your medication “in stock” (you wait), then they will fill your prescription (you wait)... if it’s a busy day forget about it... this CVS is across from Southern Regional Medical Center... so they are always busy... not enough employees... hard working folk but not enough for the demand... stay away unless you have time to spare...
They shut down the red machine. with a sign that it is out of order. Because they act as if the coupons were out of your pocket. And they dont like the customer to scan to know the price of the items. since before November the machine is useless

Id like to give them a negative five stars-5😒 this place is the worst besides the so called hospital across the street. After dropping if my prescription and when picking up I was told my pain meds would be available in a day or so and its to late to transfer it because of the time. I expressed how important ut was that I had it and oh well is what I got from the cashier or whatever she is. So I called when I arrived home asking for it to be transferred so i could get the next day. And low and behold it was a mistake and I could return and pick it up she had to change the DSN. I will never come here again for anything nit even water
The drive thru pharmacy is slower than Karo syrup they leave you sitting their dont answer when you press call and say someone will be right with you...the time you wait at the window is ridiculous I will never come here again I rather drive 15min away than to drive 7min amd wait forever!
Pharmacy does not answer phone. Called 3 times! No answer. When I get there the lady at the counter acted like she didn’t know her job and the pharmacist was very short and unprofessional. I ended up having to get my prescription moved to another pharmacy because no one could find my prescription even though it was confirmed by the pharmacy the day before that it was there.
After going to Urgent Care late on a Sunday night, I needed to get my antibiotic filled as soon as possible. I walked in and had my antibiotic literally within 5 minutes of handing it to the Pharmacist. Excellent service! Well done.
I would give zero stars if I could, I needed a very urgent medicine for my one year old and all I got was attitude when I called on the phone. They told me to wait 45 minutes then come in. I waited two hours then came to pick Up the cream only for the attendant to be rude, disrespectful, and tell me it’s “not ready”. A cream which doesn’t need to be prepared, and I would have to wait another hour. Clearly these employees hate their job, which is inconvenient for people who need their medicine.
Ridiculous wait time, first i was told 20 mins, came back after 30 mins and was still told it was going to be another 15, should have just said about an hour from the beginning, oh and on top of that they never answer the phone. Ended up leaving, Definitely will not be going back there.
Every time I have been to this CVS, they are always incredibly busy. O.k., understandable they are 24 hrs & across from the hospital. However, you would think eventually get it together. Always only 1 pharmacist on duty. 3 techs looking for one script. Always wait 10-20 minutes.
I came in here 5 am and went to the pharmacy. GHETTO!!! When came into the store I heard the tech(I only assume she’s a tech because I wouldn’t expect a pharmacist to act that way) all the way to the front. Laughing and yelling with the officer and her co worker in the back. I shouldn’t hear your conversation to the front of the store. When I walked up it was as if I was interrupting her so she was trying to hurry me off. Glad it didn’t take longer and I hurried up and left. My first time in there and most likely the last since I have a cvs closer.
I was in a rush, I needed a drug urgently while on a layover at Atlanta airport. The team did everything they could to help. They are great!
The worst drive thru ever. It’s Friday morning, I pulled up at 8am and have been sitting at the window exactly 45min. No one has greeted me or anything. They are just walking by as if I’m not there. I have pressed the button 4 times and the pharmacist just waved me off. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I have to be at work I’m trying to get my baby medication that I keep receiving a tex about daily. It’s 3 people working inside and no one is coming to the window. I hate this pharmacy and will no longer be servicing with CVS. And I will definitely spread the word via social media.
Went there to pick up prescription on September 23,19. Was told my meds had to be ordered. Usually takes 24 hrs never more than 2 days.. Its October 2nd and meds still on back order. Good thing thing it wasnt an emergency. I learned a long time ago to stock up on my meds. This bunch has a tendency to screw up on a regular regular basis.
There is a reason why this location has such a low rating. There is a lack of professionalism and customer service at this pharmacy. The pharmacy manger Pam Rivers (Pam) is just has rude and Ghetto has her staff. This in person as well as over the phone. There was issue with my prescription at no time did she or any of her staff attempt to go the extra mile to assist me with the matter. She flat out said I did my job and there is nothing else I can do. In my opinion, she did not do anything not even address my original complaint about the pharmacist that I first encountered. I logged a complaint with corporate office and for what, it is more than obvious they condone the way they conduct business. Lori Lay is the floating pharmacist who flat out lied about verification of my prescription, she couldnt even find my prescription to give back to me. I asked for policy information yet, they all acted dumb founded to the question. The tech Xaviera (?) definitely isnt any better, someone who doesnt take time to groom themselves before going to work is a sign that you will get what you see. AVOID THIS CVS LOCATION IF YOU CAN HELP IT. THERE IS NO NEED TO BE MISTREATED OR RACIALLY PROFILED BY YOUR OWN PEOPLE. I failed to mention the store manager Mr.Key, he refused to speak me or address the issue himself, he basically brushed it off on Ms. Rivers. The corporate office needs to take the time and read these post, maybe this can shed some light on how and why this CVS is rated so low.
I went to the pharmacy drive thru to pick up 2 medications for myself and my daughter. I pull up and I am the first car. After about 5 minutes someone picks up a phone and stated I will be with you in a moment. I could see her she proceeded to eat pringles and drink a coke before she came to assist me. The phone was ringing off and she didnt bother to answer. When she came to the window she asked was I picking up or dropping off. I told her I was picking up and told her the first name. She said she would be back. Stopped and ate more pringles before bringing back the medication. This is so unprofessional in the customer service industry the customer comes first. I will be switching pharmacy effective admittedly
Customer service in pharmacy is horrible at best. Their overnight shift is rude and treat you as if asking about your medication that you requested to be filled over 24hrs prior is not only an inconvience to them but they they cant even give you an ETA as when it would be ready. Saying if you come up here then Ill fill it. Absolutely ridiculous. You folks must have forgotten, youre not the only ones in town and how you get, retain and lose customers in through word of mouth. I will be changing pharmacies!!!!

I put in my order a famliy member went to pick it up today she had to wait 30mins to pick up an order that was ready an hour ago. Then when I got the medication the didnt put the proper supplies o needed to give my child at home the medicine like I have at hand syringes. I do not . so yeah it definitely was an inconvenience for me.

I really didn’t want to give them ONE star! I only did it so I could move forward with writing this review! They (the pharmacy) are the rudest people to have to deal with when you are in pain and/or sick. They have no compassion and slow as ever! Heck, they are the rudest people to deal with even when you are well! I wish there was a closer CVS to me that was 24 hours because I promise they test my freedom EVERY SINGLE TIME I have an encounter with them! Even when I asked for a manager SHE was yelling...That is not professional... my daughter is in pain!!! She just had dental surgery and I dropped the prescription off an hour ago now she needs her pain meds and when I called to see if they were ready the girl that answered the phone stated “we are two days behind on filling meds you can come up here and wait then it will be expedited!” Tf?????? So leave my daughter and come sit OR bring her IN PAIN and sit.... where they do that at??? I guarantee I’m doing more than a google review! And I put that on EVERYTHING!!! Alice minkoff NP called in our eye drops here and the pharmacist was very kind and fast in getting it filled within 10mins. I highly recommend.
I usually experience great customer service here but one thing Ive noticed is the parking lot is trashed. I overlooked the first couple of visits but its been like this for months. So unappealing.

This is the slowest pharmacies ever. I hate my Rite-Aid closed up the street. I had to deal with them for the past week. I cant take the wait time at all. Got to find me a new location.The staff was friendly to me,I just cant deal with the wait time.

This is the worse pharmacy, my gastroenterology have to call over 4 times, to do my prescription, I went to this pharmacy 4 times, and they say nobody call to here,this is incredible, later they find out all calls my doctor did was there, if they cant do it his job,hire competent people people please, they no have the right to play whit health nobody
WARNING DO NOT COME HERE! I came to this CVS after leaving Urgent Care on a Sat. My 5 year old daughter was being treated with Pneumonia. The pharmacist informed me that they had to special order a pump for her so it will be in Monday. Ok. I get there Monday night and my prescription has still not filled. Due to the fact theyre understand staff. The pharmacy then inform me my medication came in earlier that morning and here it is at 8 p.m. I still dont have my medication. Im writing this on a Tuesday and I still have not received my daughters medication. This is Despicable and downright pathetic for them to be working at this kinda compacity. People it takes them 4-5 days to get you medication. They are big failures in my book. It saddens me to know that companies actually represent their selves like this.
Called the pharmacy to talk to a person in the pharmacy...on hold the first time for almost 23 minutes, hung up, waited a few minutes, on hold for almost 13 minutes and was cut off, waited a few minutes and called back to wait another 14 minutes. Web site did day this was a busy time (9 pm hour) however i find myself waiting 30 to 45 minutes or more to talk to someone every time i call no matter what time i call. Some of our family has to get the medicine here and i cringe everytime i have to deal with them. Ok after another 17 minutes on hold i got to finally talk to someone...my doctor sent my prescriptions in 3 pm wednesday and here at 10:20pm on thursday i was told they maybe ready in an hour....one medication i was told to take as soon as i got home....anyone suggest a cvs that actually can fill a prescription in a few hours? Update here it is February 5 2020...nothing changes...on hold forvover 15 minutes and now standing here for 3 minutes until I was a acknowledgement and prescription that we were told would be ready in 2 hours is now 4 hours and it will take another 30 minutes to fill...it is for a person who has acute bronchitis with very little air movement in one lung...not an emergency unless it is their loved one. It is close to my house but it may be less stressful if I now go to a competitor

This cvs is the most popular in the area. They are doing a fantastic job in serving the commmunity.
They do not answer the phone Ive been on hold for 40 minutes trying to get my prescription filled
If I could give -5, I would. Horrible pharmacy and staff. Theyre always behind and if they dont have your medication in stock they dont tell you til you come to pick it up. No one ever takes responsibility for not notifying customers that the meds are not available or the fact that the script was filled incorrectly. Only 24 hour pharmacy in the neighborhood and they are just horrible. Pharmacy techs could care less about the customers because you wait in line forever to be served. They are very disorganized. Worst part is that they are across the street from a hospital, yet they fail to deliver quality and timely service. Never going there again!!! I caution anyone who chooses to drop off a prescription at this pharmacy: if your prescription is filled on time, you prescription is correct, and you didnt have to wait forever to get it (a day or two) your one of the lucky ones.
Im always in and out when shopping. The pharmacy takes a little while(I think thats normal)
