Each Aldi has its own unique characteristics...I really like the one on Myers street and the one on Staples Mills Rd...the lighting in those locations are more welcoming and inviting

I like this Aldis, but I was in there today (10/26/21) & the aisles were taken up with those stock carts, but the main reason that I am leaving a review is when I was ready to check out, there were NO registers open! A cashier had put a closed sign on her register & was helping her last customer. Im standing there looking for an open register, & other customers were walking up & standing around. This is unacceptable!.. That cashier should have kept her register open until the other cashier came up from the back, which that person eventually did. Get it together, because if it was my husband, he would have left all of his items on the register & walked out..

Just visited Aldi for the first time. Was able to buy enough food and wine for a seafood dinner for 8 and still have change left over from my $100 bill. Many organic items, produce looked good. If they get into my area I will be back.

Has a great selection of organic fresh vegetables and fruits and Unique cheeses that are not at most grocery stores

Ive slashed my grocery budget into a fraction of what it was since I switched to shopping at Aldi. Fresh produce is always stocked well, meat, eggs, and dairy are suspiciously cheap while still maintaining good quality. The store is run so efficiently with such a small staff that wait times at the register are absolutely minimal. Unlike the big grocery supermarkets, you will never find staff standing around and doing nothing or resenting you for asking them for help. (Lookin at you, Kroger.)Dont forget to bring a quarter for the shopping carts! That might be a little annoying at first, but you will never again worry about a rogue, unattended cart smashing into your car while youre inside the grocery store. If you forget your reusable bags the paper bags are $0.07 a piece, which is nothing if not reasonable.

The staff is always friendly and I get unbelievable prices on basic products that I buy every week. If you havent already switched to Aldi then you probably should try it soon!

Its got everything you need not necessarily everything you want, but holy S#!? The amount of money I just saved! One weeks groceries $30 where at competitors have me spending up to $80

I love this location. The food prices are low which matters at a time of financial uncertainty for Richmonders. The staff is friendly and the store is always stocked and cleaned. They have a huge parking lot for downtown. The food is great quality.

The store was ok. For this to be a store where you bring your own bags and have to rent you grocery cart they are pretty expensive.

The manager lady with the red hair has been harassing my family for years. Love the selection and prices. Will never give 5 stars because of the manager, she should be ashamed of herself. Passing judgement on others is not your job, or your right, but it sure is your passion.

I have not had bad experiences at this store until today, but I am not interested in shopping here further until COVID passes. There was a woman actively hacking, coughing into the air (not covering her mouth), and not wearing a mask. She was coughing aggressively every 3 to 5 seconds. I need to point out, I used to be a chain smoker and had bronchitis at one point. This was the worst cough I have ever heard in my life.It made every single person in the store uncomfortable. Everyones eyes were wide. One older man not wearing a mask pulled one out of his pocket.I was on one side of the store (by the frozen goods if you know the layout) and she was at the entrance, and I heard her coughing from the entrance. Not a single manager said anything. It should not be on customers to enforce a distance or mask policy. The employees and customers looked VISIBLY concerned and bothered by this persons presence in the store.The only reason Im leaving a review is so that hopefully management knows that they should enforce a mask policy for anyone without medical exemptions, and to not do so is negligent.

Its an Aldi. If you havent been to one, it is a good example. They have a lot of certain foods very inexpensive either in brand or generic. Bring a quarter if you want to use a shopping cart and bring your own bags.

This Aldi is one of the BEST! I was unaware that we needed quarters again so I was not prepared. The outside employee gave me a quarter which was very thoughtful. Aldi has some of the greatest employees. The store is always clean and the prices are very reasonable and pretty consistent. They have items that I normally purchase at every trip and saves me so much money. Im so thankful for this store. It saved me from Walmart. Oops did I type that. 🤫

Just going to be straight up: this place gave me a headache. Yes it has some cute items that are organic and whatever but sheesh its like food shopping in someones garage. All my husband wanted to do was punch all the bread lol. Its cool if youre a hippy who carries around his/her own cardboard box but if you just want regular human groceries this isnt the place. Also, the customer service was dryer than a bag of flour. Just freaking go to publix lol.

Small grocery store with a European feel. Items are sold seasonally, so may not be available week to week, but are fresh. Their selection of cheeses are amazing and the prices cant be beat! Customer service is always great. I love this grocery store!

Best Place ever! is an understatement. They have a great selection of bread for as little as 1.2 dollars. I love there pita bread and tomato or herb tortilla. they have great produce, meat, frozen food, coffee, and diary selection. they have new items coming in every Wednesday with new offers like electronics, kitchenware, household items, and even clothes. I am a biweekly customer here and have been since 2017. I just love this place since I am a student and I can get there by bus and the fact it is more affordable than other chains. always clean and tidy, the staff is really helpful and polite. grab a cart for free,just insert a coin in at first and get it back when you return it outside of the place. I always bring my reusable bag with me and save time on loading and unloading onto cart. This place is all about efficiency and they are doing a great job. Oh! you might be handed coupons sometime when checking out, which is also great keeping in mind that this place is already affordable. love it. Thanks Aldi.

Best prices on most staples. Trader Joes younger more frugal brother. Service is very good as well. Bring your own bags and a case quarter. Go as soon as they open for fastest trip in and out.

Great deals on quality foods we love, they have duck! Cheeses are always a very low price, produce is not always great but anything packaged is a solid deal.

I arrived at this Aldi by 8:40 am on a Saturday morning. I appreciated that this location opened before 9 am. This location was clean. Employees greeted me throughout the store. Fruit and vegetables looked appealing. What I needed was in stock. I noticed the variation in prices at the location that was further out near Three Chopt Road.

Great prices, however, some items do not have a price and no way to check until you are at the cash register. Then, you dont want to look silly and put it back, so you buy it anyway. Please, label prices clearly :(

I generally love Aldis and find good produce and deals there but today I was overcharged for an item that was supposed to be on sale. I tried to call the store to let them know and got a recording saying you cannot call any store. So, now I have to go back to the store where I bought the item and have them adjust the price for me. Very inconvenient.

I love aldi. This location especially has their stuff together. It’s easy to navigate and there is always some one around to help you out. Check out is usually a little backed up, but because you bag your own it goes quickly & people with large carts of goods are generally very kind and will let someone with few times in front of them. The veggies and fruits are a hit or miss, but that’s understandable.I just wish they’d bring back their dessert hummus- ADDICTING!

No frills and low cost. A great way to save on every day groceries. Bring your own bag or buy one from Aldi. Lots of selection for a smallish store. You wont find white peppercorns here, but u should find most of what you normally use. Best savings on store brands but low prices on many major brands too. Try it.

Love that the food is natural. Got some natural sugar from the sugar cane...ill be going back . the workers are berry helpful, if you cant find something they will take you straight to it and not just point you in the direction..

Aldi always has great quality for incredibly low prices. Ive tried everything there from produce to fresh meat and have never been disappointed. The service team is always professional and pleasant as well. One of my favorite places to get groceries, without a doubt

I love ALDI, but this store has not shown that it fits the ALDI profile. I have been here three times in hopes that it could be my ALDI store because it is so close to my house. However each time, the store has been missing a lot of produce, the store is not organized in any way, and the service has been lacking. I have been shopping at ALDI over ten years, way before they came to Richmond. I love the ALDI on Broad but this ALDI doesnt do it for me.

Clean. Well lit. Wide accesible aisles in a modestly-sized space. Reasonable, workmanlike quality at modest prices. Item selection is abridged but sufficient for most everyday needs. Fine addition to the Richmond grocers marketplace.

What can I say; I havent been to a Kroger, Walmart, Food Lion in months because of how amazing this place is. My spouse and I have started to branch our home cooked meals because were able to buy the high quality ingredients for cheap here vs. other stores. Staff is wonderful.

Easy to get in and out just remember a quarter for your cart. High traffic area so I took away a star plenty of parking for being a city area

Everything about ALDI is perfect!!From the great selection of products to the absolutely amazing service by the employees! And of course, the prices are unbelievable! I went in today for a couple of bottles of wine and a box of popcorn and it all came to $6 and change!!! I will be going to ALDI again and again and again!
