These folks are always first class in their assistance. I’ve found they usually can solve most issues but they will take their time to listen provided people communicate clearly. I’d go back for help where needed if in person support is needed. Great work.
Although I had to wait just a few minutes in line to enter the store, thankfully everything we were looking to purchase today was in stock! Michelle with Apple did a great job of looking quickly to verify the AirTags were in stock along with two leather key chains. Also, I was grateful to have just enough Apple gift cards to cover this purchase. Thanks so much to Apple and Michelle!
Went there with intentions of purchasing a new computer (cause mine was 5 years old). Remy helped me figure out was wrong with my THEN laptop before showing me what new products were available. He did a great job fixing my issue but I wanted something new. So…… he did just that. Set up new computer and answered all of my questions. Thanks again Remy.
Not a huge fan of the company, so 3 stars might be a stretch. They have COVID mask hysteria, so bring a mask regardless of Vax status. They were busy the day we went and unable to help me. I set up an appointment to go back 4 days later, they were still unable to help. I was told they typically only service items less than 7 years old, which for technology, is old but, Ive treated my product well and have taken care of it, the internal battery is shot but, unfortunately, they didnt have em available. Probably wont buy a new replacement from Apple.
Took my Iphone 11 in that was barely a year old because it was stuck in boot loop. After waiting for about 30 minutes in a crowded store, the technician plugged it in and said that it was dead and nothing could be done. I then took the phone home and my 11 year old son asked to see if he could fix it, he was able to fix it and the phone is working perfectly. Very disappointing that all they seem to want you to do is to buy a new phone instead of working on the problem.
Even though the store was full, as always they completed a return for me in under 5 minutes. All the employees have always been super helpful and friendly
I hadnt been out to this mall in a very long time. It was very hard for me to find Victorias secrets. The map needs to be a little bit easier to read.
After my experiences at NY APPLE stores, this Apple store in Short Pump Towne Center pales in comparison.Train staff on interpersonal skills, better customer service such as letting customer know wait time if after the scheduled time of visit. Poor organization in terms of managing employees. I did have 2 good sessions with 2 different employees in Apple Short Pump before but on my most recent visit here, the employees I dealt with are not knowledgeable.
Beautiful shopping area! Tons of shops but very pricey. Out door fireplace was awesome and enjoyed watching the kids play in the outdoor play place. Come here for a pleasant shopping experience!
Even though I have Apple Care + with express replacement, and even though they were less than 4 months old, this store (nor the corporate headquarters for that matter) would not help me replace my completely dead Airpods.Instead, they quite literally are holding them hostage, and because their customer service is so fake, no one can do anything about it. They just say, yeah, I understand without offering any sort of resolution.
Great service, friendly staff and the full Apple experience! If you ever visit, ask for Remy T. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all Apple products and his customer service skills are off the charts! If you are in Short Pump, make sure you take the time to visit this store.
Staff was friendly. Attentive, and helpful. It was iPhone launch day and they were super busy but well staffed and had a great plan for dealing with walk in customers vs pre-order pickups. In this time of understaffed businesses they were doing a great job
Handicapped inaccessible. Only can be reached after a long walk through the mall. Limited seating in uncomfortable chairs. Tight spaces for a wheelchair to negotiate. Service was poor and aggressive. Screen had failed on laptop after a month. Despite having applecare warranty, they blamed it on us and made us pay for repair.
Rushes you in and out, even with showing on time for appointment. They made me feel like Apple products and customer service are all about milking everyone for money rather than being personal and patience. One asked me in a condescending tone how I was gonna pay with an Apple Card just because I was holding an Android work phone, before giving me a chance to take out my Apple Card and iPhone in my pocket.
Brought an Apple Watch that left a burn on my hand in which the watch was centered . Was told that no assistance could be given to me even with sending in medical documentation that confirmed the spot was indeed a burn . They ran a diagnostics and of course they couldn’t see anything wrong with the watch when several cases of this happening is even on google. I have a permanent scar so just be careful this company does not care about their customers .

I just needed to buy a phone. I was kind of concerned about how long I would be in there because the store was fairly crowded, but looks can be deceiving. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.The store was clean and organized and my salesperson was knowledgeable and quick.
Management here is horrible, worst apple experience ever.Walked into the store and told the salesperson the exact watch I wanted. I was told I had to make an appointment…and come back in 4 hours to speak with salesperson in order to buy it, even though I wanted a simple Series 6…that I confirmed they had 11 in stock. It would’ve taken them all of 5 minutes to help me…not to mention they had 4 salespeople chatting with one another about a Netflix series.I didn’t need help, I’ve owned apple watches for years and know exactly what I wanted.Don’t recommend you go to this location. I went to Best Buy right down the street and purchased the same watch, it took 5 minutes, and their pricing is better.
I have been going to Apple at Short Pump Towne Center for years. The customer service is excellent. They help you with every question and every situation you may need to accomplish. Apple products are more expensive; but the help you receive in person when needed is well worth the money!

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! GO ONLINE OR CALL FOR HELP!! Worst retail experience in years. Was met by “fake” mall security which Apple has clearly paid to be there. Wanted to make me wear a mask waiting in line, even though I am at a outside mall and vaccinated. Argued with the fake security and a manager came out (which was useless). Asked to be helped outside the store (which they obviously refused). Make it make sense Apple! You’re over bearing rules and policies make it very difficult to do business with. Be easy to do business with and find a solution to help guests instead of putting your feet in the sand.
This place is ridiculous they told us an hour and a half so we figured ok well walk around the mall going on 2 and half hours later we still have not been called text or anything but you cant leave because the Apple store company is stupid when it comes to convincing its customers and its the only apple store in town
I visited this location to get help with a cracked phone screen and the employee who was assisting me, Sam, was rude and abrasive. She was belittling and conceited in her tone and was little help when it came to really explaining my options. I understand when someone is having a bad day, but I would expect this attitude from a disgruntled fast food worker as opposed to an Apple employee.
Went here to celebrate my birthday weekend with my best friend! We had a great time, the service was perfect and the food was delicious! I got the flat bread mushrooms and spinach lunch special with a green salad and he had the avocado egg rolls! I got my birthday cheesecake and he had the key lime cheesecake.. We will be back the next time Im in Virginia.
Worst Apple store ever! The guy doesn’t know anything about plans or transferring from android to ios. He kept going back and forth to ask someone else. I wanted to transfer everything on my android phone to the iphone i am purchasing and he wouldn’t let me use move to ios app.Second try today and still same BS. You wait forever to buy a phone. You find three employees busy with one customer. As if people have time to wait.Does apple even give a sht about reviews? I don’t think so.
By far I am pleased. Moises went beyond and above to help assist me. I had 2 phones and set my appointment through Apple and they didn’t set it for both phones. He got with his team and made it happen. 1 Phone was out of warranty and they were able to work everything out. You guys are amazing and I truly appreciate everything. With this day and time with everything going on you don’t find patient people, he was very patient with me. Thanks so so much.
What is the point of a Genius Bar reservation if you get there and are forced to wait and wait and wait? I’m guessing that 2/3 of the customers inside the store right now are just waiting. Not cool when you have little ones in tow.

Genius Bar Appointment at 3:40 for broken iPhone screen. We had to wait until 4:30 to actually talk to someone.Why allow for an appointment when there is no chance to actually talk to someone? It is not because they are short staffed - many employees standing around talking to each other.This is NOT customer service.
Dont even stop by there!You may want to checkout the new technologies or buy something, but if you care about your dignity, dont go there. There is no other apple store nearby, but you can go to bestbuy or shop online. They are extremely rude. Giant people at the front door behave you like your are so needy and they rescuing your life by letting you in the store.Their behavior is extremely insulting. dont ruin your day, stay away from this store.

Wouldnt let me purchase a $1200 iPad unless I gave them my phone number. They couldnt make me an appointment was the excuse. While I was standing there, with a salesman, in front of a row of iPads. He scoffed and told me I should go to Best Buy. Pretentious & rude. Will never shop at an Apple store again.

I was helped by AJ at the Genius Bar, and he did an awesome job. He was very helpful, and was open and honest about how much different upgrades or repairs would cost. AJ wasn’t pushy at all, and gave me all the information I needed to make my choice, which made the experience very pleasant. AJ gets a 10/10, and I would definitely come back again.
Drove there on Saturday to buy a phone and a person took my temperature to put me in line and another person comes and ask me what am I doing there so I said I am here to look at phones. He literally told me I needed an appointment, however all the people in line with appointments were there for service and the store had almost no one inside since they had just open. I currently have a commercial account with Apple for many years and now I am really rethinking If I have chosen the right company for my business products. There were 2 lines. One for service and one for regular customers. I think Apple employees are forgetting who the buyers are!

I dont write reviews. I am a patient person. This Apple store is not an proper representation of apple as a company. This store from the management, to the workers is rotten.They are rude and would rather see you walk out the door than help you in any way. I had an appointment to have my Macbook Pro looked at, after waiting 40mins the Genius bar rep told me she would not process my appointment because I was going to transfer my files onto my flash drive in front of her.The simple fact that she could not wait 60 seconds for me to transfer nothing but PDF files (which I told her thats all it is) is unbelievable. She was rude and condescending. so I was rude back, which in this case I believe was justified after waiting 2 days for an appointment just to be turned away by an incompetent worker.Apple corporate needs to take a better look at this particular location, it is awful, I did file a complaint through apple directly about this.
A store that won’t let you buy something without an appointment obviously doesn’t care about customer service or even want your business. I have learned my lesson. Never going there again
My phone was damaged so I looked at a new one on their website. Drove across town just to be told that I needed a reservation to buy a phone! Why was I not told that on the apple website? The guy outside the store tells me to scan a code, buy the phone online and then stand around for a few hours until they would grace me with the opportunity to give them a thousand dollars. HOW CAN YOU DO THAT IF YOUR PHONE IS BROKEN? One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Needless to say Im a dedicated Samsung customer now.
Apple is too busy or too busy to really help someone to understand their product. Im not apple savvy on top of that I lost all my apps and pictures. I was told I had 3gb icloud storage. It back up my apps but no pictures and no videos when it powered up I had nothing. You think you have support with Apple products well I really wish I had a camera so I can still have my memories. Why pay for icloud space when I bought 512 gb space up front which cost over a $1000 than to pay for icloud space atop of it. Doesnt make sense to me. I purchased iPad pro. Especially memories that been on your iPad for at least 3 years. Please back your stuff on your computer or iMac.

What an unfortunate experience i had at this location yesterday. I have been a lifelong android user and have never been into apple products. The one time my family convinced me to finally give apple a look I went to the short pump location only to be asked if I had an appointment. I said no and the supervisor promptly tells my wife and i that we couldnt go in unless we had an appointment. I replied that i guess well have to leave and the supervisors response was ok. So we left. Here we are ready to spend 2k on phones and were just told ok. No attempt to salvage the sale, no attempt at any form of customer service, just a mere ok like we dont matter and neither does our money. That came from a supervisor I could only imagine how the rest of the staff must act. Well to say the least I will be shopping for a Samsung. What a let down.

Replaced battery, it was faulty and they dont stand behind their repairs. I tried to be nice and ask for a refund, but of course their hands are tied. I will continue to use Apple products but I would highly NOT recommend this store to anybody looking to get a repair done.
Great products, but lackadaisical staff. Had a shopping appointment to look at a new Mac. The assistant was no help at all....couldnt care less.And obviously no dress code for employees. Sloppy and unprofessional. Its a good thing that the products sell themselves.
If I could give this store no stars, I would. I ordered a phone online to be picked up at this store at my appointed time. The associate had no idea what she was doing and it took an hour and a half to get my phone. I signed up to trade in my old phone, with an email to confirm it, and the associate would not take it. We left the store, returned to speak with the manager John and he said he could not take the phone even though he acknowledged we had an email stating I could leave the phone. He said Apple would send me a box. I received a box a week ago to return the phone, yet now have been charged a $100 because I did not trade the phone in within 14 days. I am still trying to get this resolved with Apple whom clearly state that it is the stores fault for not taking the phone as was initiated with the purchase. VERY VERY POOR REPRESENTATION OF THE APPLE CORPORATION -
Encountered a really unempathetic and indifferent manager when dealing with a miscommunication with an employee. The manager was disrespectful and patronizing. When faced with the realization that I would have to pay hundreds of dollars more for a repair than I thought I would, the manger did not care, sympathize, or even seem bothered about the situation I was put in. Honestly just really bad customer service on Apples behalf and the managers behalf.
Horrible staff,no respect,crazy visiting policy.Yesterday I and my wife went there to buy new IPhone because her iPhone was completely dead, it was no line or waiting people outside just one employee came to us and said I can’t help you today you can come back tomorrow.
The only reason my review isn’t 5 stars is because I think Apple’s appointment system is flawed and despite showing up 10 minutes early for my appointment, I was kept waiting while several others (including some with later appointment times) were let in before me. This is where my dissatisfaction ended, however. I visited the store to inquire about my phone’s battery life, the logistics of replacing said battery, my phone’s potential trade-in value, and possibly upgrading to a newer model. Thankfully, Jaylen (so sorry if I misspelled your name!) was there to answer every question I walked in with, and even walked me through step-by-step on how to accomplish what I was contemplating from every perspective. She was incredibly friendly, patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. As a retail worker myself, I was afraid going in an hour before the store closed would mean I’d be rushed through my allotted time there as many establishments have been operating over the past year. I was pleasantly surprised to feel absolutely no rush, and Jaylen happily answered all of my questions in great detail that made me feel listened to and cared for. The overall experience was great and I will definitely make another appointment soon.

We visited the store today after my mom’s phone broke and we spent hours and hours on the phone trying to figure out how to recover her forgotten Apple ID password so we could turn off the find my phone feature so she could activate her new phone and avoid a HUGE fee. Everyone we chatted with from Verizon and even Apple corporate provided quick solutions to get us off the line, which then didn’t solve the problem after we disconnected. SUPER frustrating!But we visited the Apple store in Short Pump today and, even in the midst of special precautions for COVID, everyone we interacted with was wonderful. Bobby at the door, checking us in, was gracious and kind and personable, and then my mom went into the store to be helped by Addison and Brandon. It turned out to be a real conundrum for everyone, but these two were committed to solving this problem for my mom as if it was their own problem. They kept at it until they’d figured it out and helped her recover her password, turn off the old phone’s location feature, and even helped her activate her new phone. Above and beyond, and so compassionate and helpful. Can’t recommend these people enough.
Needed my computer wiped so I can sell it without my personal info on it. Made an apt and drove a half hour from the city for them to tell me to call Apple support that they couldn’t do it in store. Lol aren’t you Apple support? That’s why I made the apt. Glad I drove a hour for you guys to tell me to call the Apple support phone number. You guys lost my business today. Purchase a new computer at Best Buy today instead.
One of the worst apple store I have encountered. Especially the guys with Genius Bar and they don’t know how to handle the customers and they are very rude.. I had the issue with my IPhone 12 Pro Max case and they where not able to handle this issue in right manner and they are covering up the issue rather guiding me through it properly.. This is not apple brand known for and this is not expected from the apple employees...

Absolutely pathetic customer service, which I never usually say about Apple Stores. I understand having people wait outside because of Covid, but 1. Customers are treated like trash and left outside in the cold, 2. Don’t even allow them to go inside to shop when they’re not totally sure what they want to buy, and 3. Treat customers that just want to purchase products like they’re an inconvenience.I was willing to waste $1000 on a new phone because Apple made upgrades that made my phone not work properly, but I would rather switch to a new phone provider at this point.
Im specifically leaving my review for the Genius Bar at Apple in Short Pump where a technician named Garrett troubleshooted my problem. I had an issue with my Macbook iPhotos that other Apple technicians could not solve after hours of phone consultations. I had a 15 min. appointment in which Garrett found the solution and showed me how to do new navigating in my hard drive files. I appreciate his friendliness and expert knowledge!

I have never written a review before, but I wanted to highlight how impressed I was with Susans service and kindness when I went to the Apple Store today. After working what I can imagine to be along Black Friday weekend, she was extremely kind and warm when getting me set up.
I had a horrible experience with the Short Pump store manager while trying to make a purchase. He refused to sell me an off the shelf watch band without and appointment, which was over an hour later. I was already in the store and needed nothing more than to be checked out and he refused to sell me the watch band…wow. On top of that he was pompous and rude!

Just drove thirty minutes to have my iPhone screen fixed (I had an appointment) and was told they’re out of the screens for my phone. So now I’ll have to drive back out here again in three days. They knew what phone I was bringing in so how is it so hard to notify people that the requested service isn’t available that day?This is two months after I drove out to pick up my wife’s iPhone which had been sent out for service, only to be told they couldn’t give me the phone because their inventory tracking system was down. That day they said just hang out for an hour and it should be back up. I did and it wasn’t. So two days later I had to make another trip out.The only reason I’m not giving one star is because the people here are nice and seem to know what they’re doing.
