Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great customer service, no long unnecessary wait times. This store is the exact opposite of the Mechanicsville location. We went in with an issue, and instead of being made to wait an hour or more, there were enough representatives available to assist us and take care of the issue in less time than it takes the mechanicsville location to acknowledge your presence and add you to their waiting list. Definitely worth driving the extra miles.

If you plan on purchasing a cell phone, I would 100% recommend requesting Malachi. He is patient, kind, and very knowledgeable about the products. I ended up purchasing the new iphone, a charger, and a car charger and I couldnt be happier. This is the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new phone, Malachi is the absolute best!

Malachi is the reason for this 5 star rating. If you need assistance with a phone or service, go to see him. Many of the Verizon retailers are not as helpful, but he makes this place different. As for the owners of the business, my suggestion is to never let Malachi get away.

If youre already a Verizon customer dont waste your time here. Authorized Retailer is not as official as it sounds. These guys only care about selling new phones. Theyre not designed for customer service. Go to the real Verizon store up the street. On google maps they are titled as just Verizon. Stores like this that say authorized retailer are basically third party companies that Verizon allows to sell phones but they are not official Verizon stores.That said, heres the reason for my negative review: I was having trouble receiving texts on my phone and after researching on Verizons website I found that I most likely needed a new sim card. I came here to pick up one up instead of waiting for one to be mailed to me. The guy here said very dissmisively its definitely not a sim card problem but Ill sell you one for $20. (Verizon would have mailed me one for free) He blamed my problems on my phone being an unlocked phone that I bought directly from Sony. He said because its an unlocked phone you dont get all the features which made zero sense. I told him what I found on Verizons website but he just kept dismissing it and was very confident I was wrong. He clearly just wanted me to buy another phone from him. I decided to go up the street to the official Verizon store and they immediately confirmed I just needed a new sim card and installed one free of charge no questions asked. In and out in 5 mins completely fixing my problem. The official Verizon store was super nice and very helpful. Wish I could say the same for this authorized retailer

UselessI called in about a insurance claim on the phone store employee says you have to do it yourself. If we switch information from old phone to new phone there is a $40 charge. Beautiful a worthless warranty

I’m not tech-savvy but Chad explained things in simple terms and was more than willing to go over all the features and explanations until I was satisfied. He is so patient, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He made my phone purchase experience a great one! I will definitely recommend Chad & the Broad Street store.

Amazing Customer Service and Overall Great Experience!I went into this location to upgrade my phone the other day. Most of the other locations Ive been to have been incredibly busy and Ive had to wait an hour or so for a representative to be available. This trip to this location, I walked right in and was immeadiately helped by a Mr. John Edwards (although the emptiness of the store was probably due to COVID). I had a ton of questions regarding which phone to get and ghe features available on more than a few different models. John was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful through the entire process. I decided on a phone but when it was brought out I changed my mind and requested to switch to a different model. John was so kind and patient, he even helped me look through cases and screen protectors. While we were sitting waiting for the phones to transfer data, he chatted with me. Overall, I could tell he had received good customer service training and was a great employee and very personable.

Amazing staff! I was able to work with Michael who is highly intelligent and helpful when it comes to the field of cell phones. Also he proved to be very unbiased, kind, and his customer service was through the roof! 10/10 would recommend going to this Verizon store and working with Michael!

Great place to get your Verizon phone. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dallas our rep was great. If you need full service and detailed explanations this is your shop. We have tried to switch out our phones and plans for a year and have walked out of several other locations because the rep could not satisfy our needs. We have frequented this site for almost 3 years now, but had a particularly wonderful experience yesterday with an associate named Dallas. He was efficient, practical, and frankly, just fun to work with! He helped remedy our original issue, found and resolved other issues we were unaware of, and made many calls to Customer Service and Corporate instead of sending us home to do ourselves, and all in the remaining hour of the workday! Highly recommend this staff member and this location! We will continue to use them happily.

When I enter the store, I am eagerly greeted by him or any of the sales people for that matter, and I receive prompt and genuine help with whatever assistance needed. This type of service is top-notch, and I recommend this store (and especially James ONeill) to anyone looking for a good affordable cellular plan. James is also great at finding the best deal for you, and is readily available whenever I have questions about my iPhone. Wow, I had no idea how helpful the people at the Verizon Cellular Sales store were going to be! Its the one at 5909 W. Broad St in Richmond. I was having several issues on my phone, nothing to do with anything Verizon had done wrong. Lets just say that it was my lack of being tech savvy as someone who might be just a little younger than I am would be. Within 10 minutes after asking them for help, I felt like I had a new phone, even though it was my same old reliable one. They made my email a snap to get to and several of my favorite apps now are just a touch away. And they solved several other issues, none of which were their responsibility either. Its called CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ive been with Verizon for a while, just because its easier than checking out the competition. Thats no longer the reason Im staying. Its because theyre there when I need them, regardless of whether theyre going to make any money off me that day! Keep up the good service!

This is my favorite Verizon Store in Richmond. It is conveniently located just West of Target and Libby Place and there is NEVER a wait. You can also easily park unlike the Verizon stores in the West EndI have had exceptional service here. I bought a new phone and they transferred everything on my old phone quickly and professionally. I then had to replace phone and took the new phone in instead of doing it myself and they transferred everythingHighly recommend this store for efficient and friendly service.

Took my mother in to purchase a senior phone for her. When the sales person found out I wasnt there to buy an $800 iPhone, he had no interest in helping us. I was looking to add a line to my existing account and get her a smart phone. Too bad, Verizon. You lost out on making $45/mo extra from me plus a $300 phone. Consumer Cellular got the win.

I come all the way from Gum Springs which is 30 minutes out to this store. It is well worth the trip and the only store I go to. All the sales people are helpful and take good care of us.
