Great little place to eat once I found it. My GPS kept circling, and kept trying to take me across the street. The employees were friendly and helpful. I wanted to customize my sub, and they help me figure out the best way to do it. And those little potatoes may look plain, but they were delicious!

The Westover is ideally located adjacent to the Westover Hills neighborhood—one of many popular neighborhoods for Richmond Virginia real estate. I really appreciate the variety of health conscious menu choices and decided on “Build Your Own Bowl” to choose my own favorite healthy ingredients. It’s very peaceful in here right now, and I like how helpful the staff are. The food here is delicious!

Went for breakfast today and was impressed with the freshness of the food, the fair prices, the cleanliness and opened of the dining area and the fun, unique grocery items available for purchase. We got the chorizo omelet and hummus wrap with coffee for under $30.. that is rare these days! Dont miss you on this place. They also have limeade that you can add moonshine to.... Genius! They have a pretty decent bar, and dessert selection. All around win! 🍳

We have always enjoyed The Westover as a special neighborhood spot. Lucky us, we can walk there on a whim. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and management will go above and beyond to make things right when needed. Great prices on their market items as well. If you haven’t checked them out since they opened their market then you should definitely get in there because you are missing out. Oh, and they have Gelatti Celesti and Nightingale sandwiches!

Love the restaurant- agree with others, its hard to find. I lived in the neighborhood for over 3 months before I found this gem. Now Im a regular, and get food for myself and my family at least twice a week. The Sunday Supper is to die for. I hope that they are able to improve signage-- the minimalist sign gets lost on the expansive brick building, and the nondescript exterior simply hides the magic that lies inside. A mural or a banner would do wonders for the visibility of this spot, especially as foot traffic to the area increases.

After leaving the Brewery Cafe (I was the sardine packed in the square box) due to it being packed of people and too small to wait for a seat, I randomly came across Zata cafe. So glad I did bc its big! Awesome homey vibe and great LATTE! yes singular bc I only had one latte. ;) If the place was busy, its still big enough to hold a good amount of people. I was charged $6 ($5.xx + tax) for a small latte with an extra shot (2 shots total). A medium latte has two shots and is $4.25, a large 3 for $4.50, this is all according to the barista, later confirmed by the manager. Barista says he cant do anything about it and to wait for his manager to come in, fair enough. I talk to the manager (pretty sure hes the owner), he says its just how the computer rings it up. I explain that I essentially paid extra for a medium latte in a small cup, him: I never analyzed it that way. Thanks for the feedback, in a condescending tone.I work in IT, I get that computers arent perfect, but blaming the problem on the computer and leaving it at that isnt an acceptable solution. Im not asking for a full refund, just to pay a fair price for what I purchased.I meet my dad here for coffee because its near him. Ill be suggesting somewhere else next time.

What a fantastic place! This is the kind of coffee shop atmosphere I wish I had near me in Hanover. There is plenty of seating and space available, which is a huge bonus in my book. I always feel like shops like this have such minimal seating and this is definitely not the case here. The breakfast I had was so delicious and very reasonably priced. I am not a coffee drinker, but they had a delightful selection of loose leaf teas that I rather enjoyed. I was there on a Saturday morning and got to experience the live music. I am typically not a huge fan of live music in the dining setting (since it can be loud and overpowering), but I really enjoyed the music while I was there. We sat very close to the stage and it was really pleasant to have the music in the background. I highly recommend giving this place a try and I will certainly be going back myself!

It looked like there was a decent selection of coffees and food available; however, it looked like there was a lack of choices when it came to their teas . The customer service clerk was friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is that they should have asked me if there was anything else like to order after I made my coffee selection. He seemed like he had never worked in customer service before in his life!!! When I started asking about the chocolates, he rolled his eyes. Obviously my business isnt enough for him. I dont know if its because I wasnt dressed in my normal attire or what, but he treated me like I was a lowlife.About a month later I went in with my wife. I warned her about how bad the service was, but she wanted to see for herself. But when we arrived, there was a young lady behind the counter. A few months ago, I visited Taza and a young girl made me a latte and served my toasted cinnamon raisin bagel (which was toasted to perfection). I was really pleased because she was cheerful and really patient while I spent several minutes deciding what I wanted to order. This made me really like coming to Taza; however, a few days ago, I visited Taza and I was greeted by a man I believe named John who rushed the customers in front of me to quickly place their order. When it was my turn, I approached him and ordered another latte and cinnamon raisin bagel. I requested it toasted again, expecting it to be just like it was last time. After I placed my order, John knew the people behind me and spent several minutes conversing with them as they placed their order. It took about 10 minutes for him to finally start making my order. When it was finally ready, I was very disappointed. The latte was watered down and the bagel was half black. John was supposed to serve me cream cheese and when I asked him, he was rude by saying that hed have to charge me for something I already paid for. No more Taza for me.

Microwaved sandwiches and a weird smell. That about sums it up. Ive never been to a coffee shop that doesnt offer you a bag or napkins with to go food, napkins while dining in. On the last and probably final try there I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and was brought a bagel with no cream cheese and no napkin. I ordered two donuts and had to go get them because they werent brought out. The girl was very confused as to what to do with them. As in put them on a plate, maybe even a napkin also? Ive ordered bagel sandwiches in the past and theyre microwaved, wrapped in foil and handed to you at the counter. No bag, again no napkins, no offering of condiments or salt/pepper. Oh, and the smell; if my review hasnt turned you off and you do visit youll see what I mean. Almost like something caught on fire once and it still lingers
