If I could leave zero stars, I would. The level of unprofessionalism exhibited by this company is unspeakable.I placed an order for a couch and was guaranteed delivery within 6 weeks. I was in a very specific situation and needed it within that timeframe. I explained that if there was anyway at all it could be delayed, I couldn’t order it. I was assured by the sales associate that it would be delivered within the time frame given.I proceeded with the order. After 6 weeks, I still had no couch. I called to see what was happening. The couch was delayed by production and oversold by 47 couches. I asked to speak to a manager to voice my frustration about not being transparent about delivery times. I am fully aware we are living in covid times and that furniture is extremely delayed in production- I was just upset about the fact I was promised a quick ship only to be still without furniture.The manager started the phone call with an attitude and was rude and extremely condescending. After voicing my frustration, not once did she offer a discount or free delivery for the inconvenience. She instead said, “oh I’m sorry that we don’t have a crystal ball.”When I asked to cancel my order, she asked for my credit card number. I said is this just for the cancellation? Her reply: “well do you want your money back or not?”Please, don’t give this company business.

Only went once. The sales staff are nice and friendly; helpful when you need them but don’t push you. They’ve got some really nice furniture. I like that they advertise the solid wood and American made. I saw quite a few pieces I would love to get, but their prices are unbelievably high. Some of the price tags on dining room chairs were $600-800 PER chair. Unfortunately, I can’t afford that and probably never will. Great place if you have the money.

The people and furniture are great but DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS! Absolutely horrible! I thought the first one I got was made incorrectly because it sagged in the middle so they sent me a new one in the first few weeks. The replacement was marginally better and you can visibly see and feel that it sages to the middle! After less than 6 months! Do yourself a favor and get your mattress somewhere else!

I‘m surprised this place gets good reviews. Building a new home and want to redecorate. I walked through the showroom and everything seemed quite dated looking. Didn’t see anything that I would consider on trend upscale design.

Top of the line furniture. Might have to sell your organs to afford it.

I couldnt get out of there fast enough. I was interested in a $2,000 couch, the saleswoman commented that it was essentially cheap. OK, sure some people are willing to pay more for a couch, but not me. As a matter of fact, most people would spend much less. I can AFFORD to, but choose not to. The woman was such a complete snob! I went to another local store and bought a better couch and better service. RUN - dont go there unless its for a brand they are exclusive for. Even then, travel to any other city.

Lots of variety. Seems to be full of high quality furniture, no cheap stuff. The basement warehouse might have something for you with a discount.

This is an amazing store who seems to be in the business to make customers happy with high quality furniture thats sure to become an heirloom. I had shopped 4 furniture stores before stopping here on Saturday. I knew what I wanted wasnt going to be cheap but my main goal was to get a comfortable recliner that I could use for a long post surgical recovery. In the other stores I saw recliners that were high priced, cheaply made, and over stuffed. The sales people all seemed more interested in a sale than in meeting my needs.FAST FORWARD TO VA WAYSIDE: the salesman didnt stalk us around the store, listened to what my needs were, and took me to every option til I found just the right comfort and quality. He stayed with us til every need was met. When the store owners came over to greet us and found out I needed this before delivery could be promised, they assured us I would have a loaner for my first days homeI will not shop anywhere but here from now on for quality long lasting furniture.

Over the years I made numerous purchases from Virginia Wayside and sent friends as well. Sadly, the store no longer stands by their purchase agreements. I will not venture in the store again and will advise others of what transpired.

My wife and I were in the market for a bunk bed for the kids. The sales woman who assisted us quoted us a price of about $2300 for the floor model of the Stickley bunk bed which had drawers underneath. The bunk bed had just one price tag and the sales woman quoted us about $2300.After picking out mattresses she met with the Stickley rep who apparently advised her the drawers were extra. She then quoted us a price of about $3100 and did not in any way acknowledge her error or address it in any way.Her reaction just did not sit well with me. Everyone makes mistakes, but you need to acknowledge it and address it and she did not in any way do either. I previously purchased other Stickley items from VA Wayside but I would not recommend this store to anyone nor will I go back.
