The people there were so nice and friendly, even when I had to leave and come back like 3 times. They were really understanding, and the process was super efficient!

Brought my car in for inspection and Leete Tire & Auto Center failed the car for inspection. A total of 838 dollars was quoted for the repairs, which were the following: daytime bulbs? Door handle repairs two ball joints (every mechanic place will try to hit you with this because you need a press to fix them), and my transmission mount. Took my vehicle to Cutshaw Automotive and my car passed inspection. Not only did Leete fail my car, but tried to charge me exorbitant priced for problems that did not exist. Cutshaw only recommended general upkeep such as belts and spark plugs.

Always get great service from Leete. Staff is friendly and professional. Came in on Thursday for an oil change and they said it wouldnt be ready until the following Thursday or Friday because they had multiple techs out and and are using a skeleton crew. I was fine with waiting because I trust Leete and they always treat me right and do a good job. To my surprise, I got a text the very next morning saying my car was ready. Great job by the crew at Leete, top notch, as usual.

It was my 1st time at Leete tire. I must admit the experience was very comfortable. They kept me informed every step of the way. The staff were very informative. I would highly recommend them.

I went to get it inspected Friday at 7:30am. At about 5pm that day they called and told me they weren’t able to get to my car and it will be a priority on Monday. I couldn’t come pick it up because they closed in 30 minutes and I’m not close enough with an Uber ride.On Monday, they tell me they have to fail inspection unless I fix my airbag sensors. Great. I give them the go ahead. I call at 5pm to find out they haven’t had a chance to work on my vehicle, and it won’t be done until Tuesday at end of day.All I can really say is I’m incredibly disappointed at how a simple inspection turned into this nightmare because of lack of communication and poor service. I will not be getting any work done here again. And will never recommend anyone get service there.

I got a state inspection here. Dropped my car off at 7:35am. I received a text when my car was actively being inspected and it was ready for pickup by 2pm. Briefly shared some laughs with the staff when I went to pick it up. Received an email with details about the vehicle inspection report. All in all it went smoothly.

If these guys were local they would be my go to.I had travelled to Richmond from New York and the next day my car had a flat, figured it was probably a slow leek. Dropped my car off here without any notice and they were able to look at it first thing the next morning. Turns out I had a cracked rim. I have an Alfa Romeo Giulia and new wheels were few and far between. The guys here managed to source and get me a new OEM wheel the next day, fitted the tire and balanced and I had the car back by lunch. They paid great attention to detail as well as the used black wheel weights and there wasnt the slightest mark from mounting the tire. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent, if I get another car issue in Richmond they will be my go to.

Went to this location a black guy stated he is the manager but yet performed any proper feedback as i was communicating in person and by text. My car stayed at the shop todays they played with it and I told him i was using my car warranty but what they dont cover i would like i quote for he was very lazy just setting at the front desk looking at the screen. i never gave me a quote until i took my car back and to a different shop who is awesome and perfect. This needs to quiet happening to new customer . They but people in front of you and dont communicate nor follow instructions this gonna bring the company value and good name down i hope the Owner and person in charge handle this issue and reach out to me i have emailer to locations requesting a proper quote for certain things needing repair i should a accurate and complete quote for the proper person with perfect knowledge.

Decided to use this center because it was walking distance from my downtown apartment, I dropped off vehicle in morning and by 5 it was ready. I had a new tire put on, oil change, and state inspection. They notified me by text where I paid the invoice online and walked to pick up my vehicle. Very satisfied with all work done.

Very professional, sometimes they get really backed up with work but if you don’t mind unexpected delays and can do without your vehicle for a few days, they do a great job. Not the best communicators. They tell you to text them anytime but they don’t respond. Don’t respond quickly to E-Mails either so best just to call.

I could not have had a worse experience with this location at Leete Tire. I dropped my car off at 7:30 AM for a simple state inspection which really should only take a few hours at most but was advised by Jason that it would be finished between 4:30-5:30 PM. I called at 5:20 PM, 10 minutes before end of business to ask if it was finished as promised, and was advised that they hadnt gotten to it yet and would do it when possible the next day. By that point, my trust was broken in this business and I will never return or recommend this place to anyone. This whole encounter was honestly ridiculous, and I hope they learn to treat their customers better.

I seriously cant believe these people tried to con me out of $500. They lied to me and stated that I needed new brakes and etc... Went back to the dealership and they sent me a invoice showing when was the last time they changed the brakes as well took it somewhere else and they stated I dont need new brakes. Horrible service

Michael was so helpful and friendly! I just recently replaced my battery, but my car was still not starting 50% of the time. They told me it would be $750 to check the charging systems and I gave them permission to do that. However, they realized I simply had an incorrect battery size and replaced it, only charging me $150. They easily still couldve checked the charging system, despite having already identified the problem, but chose not to and as a poor college student I really appreciate that. I feel like they were honest and professional and would definitely recommend them!

Worst mechanic Ive ever dealt with. Michael told me my car was ready TWICE and both times my check engine light came on as soon as I turned my car on. He then had the audacity to charge me for extra hours of labor after I had to return my vehicle multiple times. He then simply told me its part of the business...Needless to say I will be telling people to stay away from this shop.

My wife and I have used Leete several times over the last couple of years and a friend brought her vehicle to them after I recommended them to her. For the most part, their service was below average, but their team seemed trustworthy and do a good job so I was content. Unfortunately, I recently brought my wifes car to them for the yearly inspection, it needed tires to pass inspection, I stopped by the shop to take a look at the tires because it seemed odd to me. Upon inspection, it was clear that the tires needed replaced. I tried telling the service writer that I wanted to go ahead with replacing the tires (he was 20-30 feet away from me inside the building while I was outside in the parking lot). He insisted multiple times, in a less-than-polite tone, that I had to call them to discuss the repairs. I tried to reason with him and remind him that he and I were already speaking and I just wanted to give him the go-ahead on replacing the tires... he continued to tell me to call him on the phone. After a few minutes of this circular argument, I made the decision to have the repairs completed at another facility, as I felt Leete no longer values their customers at a satisfactory level. I didnt take this decision lightly, as I like to support local businesses and Leete is only a couple blocks from my house.Additionally, I do accept some responsibility for the confrontation. I understand COVID-19 presents numerous challenges and safety concerns for all businesses. And I understand that those safety concerns are where his demands for phone communications derived from. I respect that and support it. Again, we were 20-30 feet away from each other, he was inside the building and I was in the parking lot. If he would have listened to my message rather than steamrolling and insisting I call him, theyd be repairing my vehicle right now instead of another shop.

I had a tire that was going flat and called to see if they could fit me in. Even though it was a little over an hour until they closed, they agreed to do the repair. Everyone I had contact with, from the person on the phone to the one who actually worked on my tire, were so nice, polite, and professional. The work was done well and quickly, and the price was very reasonable. I could not recommend them more highly.

Before I dropped my car off here, I had been to three different shops. I spent well over $800 at the other shops and the issue with my vehicle was never resolved. The same day I dropped my vehicle off at Leete, they were able to figure out what the issue was!!! IT TOOK THEM ONE DAY COMPARED TO THE THREE WEEKS IT TOOK THE OTHER SHOPS!! Im new to Richmond and took my car here on the recommendation of a friend. Great experience, I felt that they were honest & told me what the car needed, without trying to push extra services. When the repair was going to take an extra day, Michael went out of his way to make sure I had a loaner car & could get to work.

They have a returning customer for sure. Fair prices and great service. Hands free process for COVID was solid as well.

Went in to get a inspection sticker, they claimed I needed a new tire which I dont think I did, they charged me 100 for a new tire and ever since then my car hasnt been riding the same and I now have to take it somewhere else, I also went there to get a new battery they charged me 156.00 and never gave me a receipt I remembered later and thought why would they not give a receipt especially for that amount, I dont recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience with Leete Tire and Auto in January 2020. I was in from 850 miles out of town and heard some troublesome noises coming from the back of my car. The mechanics found the same problem I had been made aware of by my home town mechanic. But, they did not pressure me to get it fixed right then, but instead told me I could wait until I got back home to have my own mechanic fix it. The manager said they didnt need the business so much that they needed to force people into getting work done on their cars that wasnt required. I felt so reassured knowing that so I had them fix my car. They did great work, in a timely manner and communicated with me promptly via text when my car was ready. My only problem was my plastic bumper wasnt snapped all the way back in on the drivers side when I got my car back. I easily snapped it back into place and everything was fine. I highly recommend Leete Tire and Auto. They are not just out to get your money, but care about fixing only whats wrong with your car.

I’ve been going to Leete Tire downtown location (2nd street location) for years and I can’t give these guys enough praise! They are professional, easy to talk to, honest, reliable...they care about their customers and take pride in providing the best service possible! I literally recommend EVERYONE to them every chance that I get!They are a busy small shop, so do expect your car to be there for the majority of the day bc they work on their vehicles on a first come, first serve basis...which is why I love that I can take my wheel off, drive around on my spare for the day while they patch the tire that I drop off at their shop.This past visit to Leete Tire on 2nd St in DT Richmond really illustrates how great Mike and his gang are! I thought my tire only had 1-2 nails in it + a bad valve and I also asked them to perform basic maintenance services and also check the voltage of my distributor and alternator since my car started to sporadically have trouble starting up (like if I left my phone charger in an outlet or kept my headlight setting to Auto..I knew I was loosing power somewhere but didn’t feel like poking around the engine myself and it’s coming around that time for the alternator to be replaced). Turns out that I had 3 nails in a tire and no signs of either part needing to be replaced. They chatted with me on the phone ab the power loss issue and also let me know that my tire couldn’t be patched since it had 3 nails. The tire they had on hand would of almost drained my bank account & after thoughtlessly saying that out loud, they offered to let me pick up my car and bring it back on Monday bc they had a more affordable tire in their offsite warehouse...this act of kindness really made a difference for me and I can not thank them enough!

So many places just try to move people and make money but not this place, they really do care and want to provide a good service for a good price. And their location is really convenient!!

Left my car at the dealership at 11 and was promised they’d work me in for a state inspection and text when they were finished. After being careless all day and never receiving a text or call. I walk 2 miles to the shop only to find my car still sitting in the same spot, untouched. I get that you may have gotten busy but don’t give a man your word and then not inform him you couldn’t service it today. Got there at 5 and was handed my keys with no apology. Won’t be going back to this shop or any other Leete Tire.

Went in for an inspection. Promised to be done by noon. Not even close. At 2:30 texted to prod. Finally, did it and gave me a bogus inspection. Claimed I had wear failure on brakes. Complete fabrication. I replaced the front and rear pads myself. Have the receipts to prove it. Then they lied about an exhaust failure. A leak that could not be found by another shop.They would have fixed my brakes, that did not need fixing for $589.09. This is twice the standard labor rate and materials for a rear brake job on an Honda. Don’t use them for anything they are dishonest.

I just needed a car inspection, it was really easy and cost $20 which is normal. I dropped my car off at 9am and I got an automated text to pickup around lunch. Fast and easy.

Once in a blue moon, throughout life, you find a great, trustworthy, thoughtful place to take care of your car. My wife and I have both, on separate occasions, had memorable moments of trust-building at Leete. Simply put - they do the right thing every time, even if it means less money for them. It is a long game to treat each customer with respect and to do the right thing each time. Nonetheless, Leete is winning the long game. They have our highest recommendation.

Ive been taking my 2008 altima here since I purchased it in 2009. The people at Leete have always given me quality service at reasonable prices. I took my car in yesterday to have it looked at for engine hesitation. Michael called me and explained that they didnt have a confirmed diagnosis but told me what they thought the issue is and to wait on the repair until they can confirm. Thats the sign of a quality shop to me.

First left a negative review of Leete because I was still having the same problem with my vehicle assuming they didnt fix it correctly. I recently spoke with Michael personally and he explained to me with other wear and tear it could very well be a separate issue as the belt moves several other pulleys in my car. This was my first time Leete, and a lot of people recommended them. They are conveniently located to downtown Richmond, and their hours their hours work well with my schedule.I had an inspection and an oil change down. When I received the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very reasonable and I would come back for those prices. And I received same-day service.The only reason Im giving them four stars is the drivers side floor mat was covered in mud, and I just purchased this vehicle. I understand it was raining but it was pretty bad. I didnt bring it up because I was in a rush.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had for an inspection. I show my car regularly and know the ins and outs, and I’ve never damaged my wheels before. This shop ended up scuffing my wheel on their lift, and they refused to acknowledge that they did it. It cost me 174.70 to replace the wheel. They also didn’t remove the adhesive from the previous inspection sticker and just stuck the next one on, leaving a lot of residue all over the windshield. They were quick, but what does it matter if they damage your things. You should not go here if you care about your car’s appearance. If you don’t, go ahead I guess.I see that the manager has responded. With all due respect, I looked at the car all the way around before I left it with you all and would have noticed the scratch because that would have been the ONLY imperfection in the literally brand new wheels. The powdercoat was still freshly flaking off from the damage, so I am certain it had just happened before I came out to collect the car. I am not above taking responsibility and I would not lie about such a thing. I can afford a new wheel and have already purchased one.

Price was good and service was done in a timely matter. The issue is that I had it noted when i called that I wanted my oil/filter used. I also stated it when i dropped off the car. When I tried asking when I picked it up, I could tell the guy checking me out didnt really want to confirm whether or not they did... When I get to my car I see my oi and filter sitting there. Now I have lower quality synthetic blend oil vs the full synthetic I bought/specifically wanted to be used. This isnt a big deal in the long term health of the motor but kind of annoying, not sure what else I could have done aside from taped a note to the steering wheel.

Jason is the best when it comes to customer service. I live fairly close to this location and the customer service and prices are very affordable. They will always make sure that the customer is satisfied. As busy as it was they still made time to make sure my car was taken care of. Best auto shop I’ve been too in years.

These people honestly don’t know what they are doing at all. They take in any car they can get and just throw some stuff together and give you your car back. I took my 2007 Mercedes Benz to get my running lights fixed and gave my car back with the sunroof not being able to close once opened. After taking it to Leete Tire and Auto Center for them to fix the problem they caused, they told me they would charge me for labor and for the part. However, they weren’t sure if they could even fix it. So what that meant was, they broke a part on my care and don’t have the knowledge/skill to fix what they broke. This place is trash.

Leete Tire & Auto does a great job servicing my vehicle. I have been going to this shop for over 20 years now and they are fast, reliable and reasonably priced. Great trustworthy group of mechanics there.

I never write reviews but I had to for these guys. They always take great care of any car problems and do so quickly. Best of all, they always truly work to save you money, get the best deal, only get services that are REALLY needed at that time, etc. Plenty of car places have arbitrarily high prices, and seem to try to get you to buy more and get more work done, but Leete really advocates for you as the customer. Ive been many times over the past few years and have always had a great experience - highly recommend!

These guys rock. They fix issues fast and for a good price.When my car had issues and I had to tow it in, they kept me posted during the day. They couldn’t find any issues with it after initial ghost problems. They checked it before end of the day and again in the morning. Noteworthy is they charged me nothing for it. Super great guys, highly recommend them!
