Our 2013 Lincoln MKX died on us on a short trip to dinner for our anniversary. We made it there and back but it was a bit scary with all of the rain. Hubby took her in to Mike yesterday morning along with the info we got from the HUM site (they quoted us a bill of over 1,100 and repairs in Atlanta which is four hours away from Richmond Hill.) Today we got a call from Mike that our girl was up and running…all for under $400. Crazy good!!! She has been a great, dependable ride getting us from Spokane, Washington to the Savannah area. We are so grateful for S&P, Mike and all who got our Lincoln up and running. Thank you so much. We have found our auto repair shop and don’t have to drive to Savannah.

***** I would give five star for labor rate and quick turnaround. Then I discovered that quick turnaround isnt necessarily a good thing. At this point, no star! After numerous visits and messages I was connected with The Boss. He cares and spoke kindly of his staff. He can weed out BS from legit complaints, too. In the end we settled on a term that I was comfortable with. He also said because it is right thing to do. Please support this small local business.

Id rather spend my $$$ on local businesses anyday than big franchises. I had a list of services needing done to my work truck. Knowing it would take a few days to get it all done. I called ahead in advance to make sure they were capable of doing them all. Lets just say I learned more about my pickup in 30min, than I have in 2yrs... they are exceptional, within budget and right on the money for quotes. I drive all over the USA for my job. Not a big fan of the east, but will gladly recommend for anyone traveling through GA. Btw, first come first serve, no appointment required. Give em a call!

We are so appreciative of the prompt and quality service after having driven from Boston (en route to Miami) when our Audi exhaust system blew on 95. S&P service fixed our car quickly so that we could travel safely onto Florida. I had my truck fixed here. Within a month the same part broke. The truck has been sitting for a while and I finally had it looked at turns out that they tightened The oil pressure sensor too tight and stripped the threads. Can’t really blame them I just blame myself for letting someone else work on my truck. Who knows their customer service may be amazing and they may try to fix it and no charge, but I don’t want them to work on my vehicle anymore

My tire popped in the middle of I95 in the middle of the night, thankfully by the morning I found this shop on google. I came into the shop in a panic, not sure I’ll be able to afford the service and make it back home. Mike was such a professional, he checked everything and gave the best price and service! So thankful to be back in the road safely!

I broke down driving by myself last week from SC to FL .. I was super lucky I came across S & P. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe trip. Not only did they fix the problem, but they also checked to make sure I wouldn’t have any other issues along the way. Very affordable, honest and professional. It’s easy to sum up S and P Automotive. They do fantastic work. The replaced my (clutch)master cylinder and slave cylinder. Changed belts, installed new ignition switch. Also diagnosed a electrical problem my Jeep had and repaired it fast! And they are polite and don’t rip you off like others do here in Richmond Hill. A+

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! So while moving from FL to VA with 2 cars packed down, 2 kids under 4, a wife, and a dog during the COVID-19 on a Saturday. My battery light came on and my car broke down on the side of I-95. Thinking I was going to be stuck till at least Monday and with a huge bill. I searched for open automotive shops and found S&P Automotive. I called and within 15 minutes they had diagnosed my problem and found the part required. Less than 2 hours later, after being towed to them, I paid less than was even quoted and was back on the road. Thank you so very much for making a stressful situation less stressful.

A great local shop.Pulled in today with a tire going low. Mike and Junior took care of me super quick and got back on the road. For a low cost repair I was treated like I was spending a lot of money. Being new to the area, I have visited a few mechanical shops to have my vehicles serviced. Based upon the appearance I was a little skeptical about this shop. It turned out to be a well run, caring, and completely qualified repair shop with prices that beat any other nearby shop! I am completely satisfied and highly recommend them! I originally took a BMW for them to work on and was so impressed that I took my Honda the next day! Get past the appearance and prepare to be impressed by the results!

We were driving from Fla to NY when our car suddenly broke down and this garage was recommended to us.They saved the day when they identified the problem and told us they would have us up and running within 1-1 1/2 hrs. So I am traveling from Florida to Virginia today. About 2hrs in to the trip my battery light came on, so I googled auto shops near me and S&P Automotive Specialists was the first one I saw and the closest. I pulled in an figured that I was about to be stuck or pay a lot of $$$$$$. Frank is the guy that I need to see. I told him the predicament I was in and he didn’t hesitate to help me. He diagnosed my car him self. He came and told me what the problem was. He did everything in his power to get me the parts and the work done so I could get back on the road. I believe that the good lord led me here for this experience that was the best one I have had at an automotive shop.

Happened upon S & P one day when I needed an oil change but, didnt want to drive into Savannah. I called and was told to come right away and theyd work me in ASAP. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Less than an hour after I walked in, my vehicle was done. Best of all - they did all of the standard things I usually get at the big-name oil change shop (check tires and wiper blades, top off fluids, etc) BUT, for less than HALF of what I usually pay! Great customer service, efficient work and all at a great price. Doesnt get any better than that! Very highly recommend!

Cant begin to say how appreciative I am of these guys.I had an issue with my AC and, living in GA, you gotta have it!I went by Richmond Auto Care and was given a quote of $115.95 for an AC diagnostic after I told them that I believed it was the blower fan.I chose to not do it and stopped off at S&P and asked if they could help me.I was told there would be a $25.95 diagnostic charge...compared to $115.95!Mentioned the same issue, told them that I thought it was the fan. Turned out I was right so they replaced it, did the test to make sure and changed the air filter for $223.00!! The fan was $100 so I got the whole problem corrected for less than $225.00. Really happy!!PS..also got it fixed that morning so I could get to a DR appt instead of having to reschedule.

I’m very happy with my experience with S and P. My alternator went out, and they fixed it very quickly. I think the price was reasonable for the work that needed to be done. I do plan on using them in the future.

You know sometimes things happen that are out of a service providers control. If so, what did they do to correct it. My experience was an excellent one. Went in, told em what I needed and it happened. Great people, great prices and great service. Nice to have someone who isnt there just to rip you off.

I like them. I trust them. They had a chance to dupe me and didn’t. They let me bring my own parts. They were up front about the labor cost per hour. They gave me a good deal. They invited me into the shop to explain the mechanics of the issue at hand. They showed me the problem and how it was being repaired. They didn’t try to sell me anything I wasn’t asking for. My car is performing as expected. The repair took a reasonable amount of time. There were magazines, coffee, and a bathroom in the waiting area. The staff (Anthony and Mike) seemed pretty nice.On a side rant: I am very picky about my mechanic. I might be crazy but I ain’t dumb. I dont trust a place that keeps the mechanics and the shop behind a big green curtain and sends a customer service rep to communicate to me for the mechanic (Ford dealership). Built into their fees is that service reps salary. Id rather deal with a dirty mechanic than pay extra to talk to the guy in loafers and polo shirt. I dont trust somebody who won’t let me bring my own parts. Thats just because they want to charge me double for the parts. And I dont trust someone who tries to sell me something I didnt ask for.

I went here because I had spent all week spending money at other places to balance my tires and getting an alignment and oil change. After going to the other places my wheel still shook very bad. I took it in, they didnt promise that it would be 100% better but they would do their best. Leaving this afternoon I noticed a huge difference in how the truck was driving! The wheel didnt shake anymore and driving it was just so much better! Everyone I encountered at the shop were friendly and helpful! They never promised it would be perfect and instead perfect is what I got! Incredibly thankful! Thank you all for all your hard work and the great conversations, its greatly appreciated!

This is a great place to bring in your vehicle for maintenance and repairs. My wife and I have been coming here for years and I have to say, I love the personal feel when I walk through the door. The staff is very friendly and professional and you can bet they will be honest and fare with thier prices. You will be missed S&P, I know my vehicle will too.

Very friendly staff but they quote you one price and then charge you another. Im new to this area. Ive always had a mechanic call me if any part of the price changed. Its great to save someone money but then if the price goes back up its just common courtesy to your customers to relay that information . Since we have four cars to be serviced we have been here a few times. From our experience this seems to be their pattern.

Immediately when walking through the door we were greeted by Ralph. Ralph started off with joking around with us before introducing him self. He did a good job at lighting the mood because I was stressed being from Florida on my way to D.C. And my car losing its axel in Georgia. By far the best experience Ive had at a Garage. He worked his best to get us to a price we could afford even working on it him self. The whole time he made us laugh and feel comfortable, like we were family. I would recommend this garage to anyone in the area that needs help.

Axle went on 95 - 11 hours more till home, got us in first thing had two guys get it done so we could keep going. We have our own auto repair shop so we were pleased to get right in and fixed up cause that is not always easy. Price was good glad to be moving.

Im gonna try to make a long story short but here goes.... Im from Ohio & had a vacation from hell. The only bright spot was this shop & all the guys that work here. They were amazing. First off i blew a tire so being an out of towner, i just blindly picked a shop to get a new one. I unluckily chose Harrisons. I dropped the tire off which didnt make any sense in the first place. Every tire shop Ive ever been to in Ohio has always just changed a tire for me in a matter of 10 min. They said theyd call me when it was done. This was 11:30 a.m. I needed a vehicle obviously so i ended up calling at 4 p.m. seeing if they had it done yet. Nope. Hadnt gotten to it. I asked if they would be able to put it on the van when they did get to it. Nope. Didnt have the spare 5 min to spend putting the tire on for me. Well, they closed at five so i run up there at 10 after & the tire was sitting against the wall with my name on it & i had to pay the cashier from the gas station connected next door to it. Who knows how long it had been done. On my way back to the hotel, i see S&P still open. THANK GOD!! I stopped to see if they could mount the tire for me. These guys did it for free!!!! Two days later, i notice my axle is cracked. Almost broken. The tire barely hanging on. My family & i were stuck. I called S&P. Not only did they get me fixed up as soon as they could for a fair price, but upon hearing that we had to change hotels trying to get a fair rate on short notice, their mechanic, Larry, offered to help me move all of our luggage with his truck after he got off work knowing that we didnt have a vehicle. Im so lucky I found a shop I could trust in a place I didnt know anyone. Thx S&P. You guys are awesome!!

Mid travel break down. Axle blew three days before Christmas. This shop didnt turn us away instead they welcomed us and diagnosed the problem. The mechanics are great the manager is very caring.would recommend 12/10. They went out of their way to make accommodations for us and our dogs.

Terrible!!! Being New to the area was already a little skeptical trusting taking my car to a new place ..especially being a woman ... went here for 2 tires and a belt. They wanted 350 just for the 2 tires, so I left and went somewhere else where I got 4 tires for a little more than they wanted for 2 tires, then went back there for the belt repair. The manager came back in from service area telling me that I obviously don’t take care of my car ( which I do, he was talking about surface rust under the hood and considering I moved from an area that has snow 8 months out of the year and my car is 13 years old .. well it shouldn’t take a scientist )! When I told him I certainly did take care of it, had a mechanic and it was inspected yearly, not only did he laugh at me, he turned around and called the mechanic in and told him what I said and they both stood there laughing at me! Don’t know how this place even stays in business with his customer service.. also while I was there he bad mouthed another customer after he left.. awful place!

Came through and needed my AC checked and repaired. They quoted me over $250 to do...I got to my home and found someone who repaired it for $20! The point that I’m trying to make, is that while traveling and you come into contact with this place, and they try to take advantage of you. I would not ever go here, if your local or traveling! To be honest, I was willing to pay more, but not to this extent. The guy barely looked us in the eye, looked down at a calculator and quoted the price! How inhuman and unacceptable! Look at people as people and not a price tag.

I was very satisfied with the quality, and speed at which they worked at. Also the staff is awesome!! 10/10 would recommend!! :)

The other reviews were absolutely correct! This is the most straightforward and honest auto repair shop I have used in 25 years. I travel coast to coast and this is by far the shop you want to be towed into when your in trouble. I expected to spend $300 or more this morning based on my wrong diagnosis. Worst ever! Do Not Recommend! Took my car for an oil change and they give me a laundry list of items that needed repaired. They said I needed a new AC in which mine NEVER has given me any trouble. Also said I needed a timing belt immediately. Funny. My timing belt was just changed within the last 45 days. Oh yea. They said my brakes looked bad. Had those changed the exact same time as my timing belt. They are very dishonest and I do not recommend at all. AVOID!

I like these guys. Im giving four stars because they didnt quote me a price before doing the work. I asked them to do an analysis of the car to see why its skipping thinking they were going to hook it to one of those computers that Napa uses, but when they told me a price of $195 I was shocked. Now I did get a tire changed but damn!They let me get away with paying $50 so I still like them.

I needed the front right hub done on my 08 Camry. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend them.

I had my oil changed here a few months back, and left my radiator cap off. Discovered it as my car overheated on the interstate. I didnt learn my lesson though, and went back recently for another oil change. A few days later, my car overheated again. I added water to the radiator, and tried to drive it back to the shop. The car still overheated and blew the head gasket, my car was ruined. The owner wouldnt accept that it might have been the shops fault, and became very defensive and hostile to me. Where is customer service anymore? Where is the customer comes first? Id been bringing my cars there for 5 years, I expect to be treated better than that! Im done with them now.

My daughter went for a standard oil change excluding air filter, which has been already changed. My toyota 6 quarts, but with them it now takes 61/2 quarts 1st time in 8 years. Was charged 10.99 for 7 quarts of synthetic oil. He told my daughter the wrong oil was in it, which in fact tats ask I use. Ask toyato or H&L. The oil filter 14.00. The rest 4 00 for supplies and labor for a total of 112.00 + change .69 95 is Toyota price. H&L I believe is lower I will confirm, but never in my life have i paid this and he did not even discuss this price with my daughter. Please beware, ask prices or go to Harrisons where I will be going from here after .Good luck people

Wet here because our car overheated and we have good service here before. They did a flush and fill thermostat and radiator cap, didnt find any leaks. Fast forward a month our car starts over heating again after $300 of previous work. This time they find a crack in the radiator from our power steering cooler. Replaced both said since they missed the crack the first time theyd refill our coolant. Our coolant was still filled with water and now another month later our car is overheating again. Weve spent over $1000 now on repairs with them. the employees are are kind but I am so extremely disappointed in their repairs. I will be making a report with the bbb, unfortunately.

I was on a long road trip and accidentally filled up with diesel at the BP near I95 (*sigh*). The guys at S&P were extremely helpful and ended up saving me $200 by recommended a workaround instead of dropping the gas tank out to empty it.

I was on my way home from Florida when out of nowhere my alternator decided to quit on me My car was losing power and it did not make it to the Mercedes dealership in savanna Luckily it gave out on me near S N P automotive I am very fortunate that I came across this repair shop the were Honest Friendly and Professional it was close to closing so my part would had to be ordered my vehicle was A Mercedes S63 AMG which parts are not easy to find unless Mercedes orders them Ralph the service writer work the phone and computer and had the part early next morning they help me find a room not to far from the shop unfortunately I had to spend a night in Georgia but they had me back on the road the very next morning as promised I could not be more happier with the way they treated me they even pick me up from my hotel as soon as the car was ready I wish they were closer to VA because they earned my business thank you guys for helping me get home if I ever come thru there again I will definitely stop by and say hi I

It also spent 6! weeks in their shop and they gave me their word that it was done right. 2 days later it broke in Florida!! dont listen to them they are the worst mechanics! if you even want to call them that....

Considering they already had a precedent with us for forgetting to replace the radiator cap before, the owner should have accepted some responsibility. Unacceptable and totally unprofessional! Would not advise anyone to trust their cars to these people!
