The longest wait of any pharmacy I’ve ever been to. You would think you can pick up a script within 5 minutes or so right? Not at this location… expect to sit in the drive thru for at least 10 minutes before someone even helps you.
The lady doing that covid test needs to be fired! I go to the call button push it once she yells that I don’t need to push it while she’s standing there. She gave poor instructions, had an attitude (for no reason), rush me as if there was some long line and got annoyed when I didn’t understand how to break the swab. Shame cvs has this snotty individual, maybe she should consider a career change if healthcare is that much of a pain for her.
On hold for 1.5 hours. Still no response. Prescription processing has taken over 1 week.
Long wait times calling in which can be expected for pharmacies in general. The pharmacist and staff have always been kind and helpful.
Had a weird uncomfortable experience today which prompted this review. The teenager working the counter could not get a coupon to scam and blatantly tossed things around in anger/frustration. Rather than find a coworker to ask how to reconcile, be huffily voided out one of my other items which was more expensive than the coupon. It put me ahead, but felt unethical. I chose to leave rather than question, as it was uncomfortable.
Slowest pharmacy in the Twin Cities. Having a drive thru, youd think theyd be quick and convenient. Dont plan on getting in and out of here. Plan no less than a half an hour visit at any given time of day. And dont bother calling. They literally do not answer the phone, ever. Ive sat on hold for hours before, and while waiting in line in the store Ive witnessed the phone ringing non-stop and not seen one employee answer it. In the last 5 years, Ive maybe been able to get through once. This place is right up the road from me, and I still will likely be filling my prescriptions elsewhere at this point. Itll be faster and more convenient to drive a few miles to a different pharmacy. 👎👎👎
I had an absolutely mortifying experience at the pharmacy today when Jerrica completely violated my patient privacy by announcing to the room (incorrectly might I add) the nature of the medication I was picking up. Very demeaningexperience overall. Violation of privacy.
Wonderful staff! Unfortunately not enough of it! The pharmacists are always incredibly kind, but theyre grossly overworked. They cant stay on top of phone calls, and even if I go in person, I wait for over an hour for my prescription. I sincerely hope their management gets their **** together soon!
Drive-up covid testing started extremely late - had to reschedule work plans to give myself extra time. The tech was really abrupt and rude but was efficient administering the test. Pharmacist in the building was not wearing his mask properly. Get tested elsewhere.
Decent selection of what you normally go to CVS for: vitamins, ointments, tylenol, etc. The reason they get just 2 stars is the cashier situation. We get it, youre not thrilled to be working at CVS... but could you at least say hello or thanks or heck just acknowledge my existence by making eye contact? I always come out of that place feeling like some of the cashiers hated every second of the transaction. Geez.
Helpful, friendly staff!
I don’t recommend using this pharmacy. One day I went back THREE separate times for a prescription I was supposed to get the previous day! It wasn’t ready until the 4th visit within 2 days. The woman at the drive thru told me information that contradicted what she had told me to do the night before!? She even asked me ‘who told you that’ and I said ‘YOU DID- just yesterday’.Today, I went in for a prescription that was faxed in an hour before (an antibiotic that I need ASAP) and they said ‘we don’t have it, we will check the voicemail in 20 minutes’. I decided to come back in the AM and they still didn’t have it! My doc office is closed on the weekend...I had to wait until Monday and the doc office had a fax confirmation that they had sent Friday. Apparently, this CVS just doesn’t fill some prescriptions because they don’t just don’t feel like it?!Also, if you try to call in to check on a prescription no one EVER picks up. Even my actually clinic was on hold for FORTY minutes to call in a rX. Go anywhere else but here!
The hold time to speak with the Pharmacy is horrible. Ive been waiting 20 minutes for someone to pick up so I can discuss a medication. Im considering moving my prescriptions to a different location.
Service at the pharmacy has greatly improved! Daniel and Michael (pharmacists) are amazingly helpful and awesome. The techs are so nice and they work so hard. Thank you for helping me keep up on my familys meds!
Scheduled a test online and insurance info collected, emailed to arrive at 11am. Did. At 1pm, when it was my turn at the drive thru was told that ‘it’s saying you don’t have insurance.’ (I did/ showed them the card)Response: ‘well it’s not letting me print the labels, so you can either leave or leave and come back’‘What!?! Can I just pay for the test?’‘No. Because it’s not letting me print the labels’A new low in customer service - way to go Minute Clinic Richfield! (Below sea level)
Been on hold for over half an hour. The pharmacy has one of the worst staffs for picking up the phone. The people are nice enough but they are abysmal at being punctual with phone calls.
If I could give a no star rating I would. I cannot believe this pharmacy is allowed to be Open. It is terrible! I tried to refill a prescription on the automated system. It rejected both my birthday and refill number. So I waited to talk to a pharmacist. 4 times I tried to get through. Waited an hour each time, finally got so frustrated just hung up. I had to drive over just to put in a refill order. Stay away from this pharmacy .
Always a long wait at the pharmacy. Many times I have gone in days after a prescription was sent and it still hasn’t been filled. I don’t know if they are massively understaffed and overworked, but if so it would also explain the lack of friendliness.
Poor service in pharmacy. Staff stand around talking while customers wait for service. They don’t seem to care about the customer.
The people in the pharmacy literally said they were to busy to help me find a non-prescription medicine
Currently on hold for 45 min and counting... seriously understaffed. Only reason I dont give it a 1 star is because they are nice and helpful when youre actually there. You can forget about calling in to get a prescription filled though. Based on other reviews, this has been going on for a *long* time so Its absolutely ridiculous that they havent hired anyone. Get it together!
Been with them for about 9 years so far good service
Great customer service at the pharmacy, super helpful staff. Keep this location as mine even though there is now a closer one to my house!
Super not cool to cancel a scheduled corona test one hour in advance and then just be like “sorry you gotta find somewhere else” and be done with the call.
If I could rate worse I would! Do not use for the pharmacy. If you have any alternatives take it. It takes at least a half hour to talk with someone in the pharmacy. They don’t call, text or email if there are problems with filling prescriptions-even when life threatening. When you do get through they are not helpful. I have much better service at HCMC, Walgreens, Target, Costco-basically anywhere.
I agree.. hold times are ridiculous
Stopped in and needed to clearly use the restroom. It was an emergency and all I had with me were my keys and phone. I asked an associate to use the restroom and she quickly snapped we dont have public restrooms. I have Crohns disease and it is a LAW to offer restrooms to people who have a condition. I shouldnt have to track down a supervisor to go to the bathroom. Thats ridiculous.
Self check out is desperately needed at this location, so I don’t have to deal with the ridiculous human beings working here.I just spent 25 minutes buying a bbq lighter. Two staff members were thrown in a tizzy by one customer who insisted on tying up the line for a financial issue. Meanwhile the line grew and grew behind her.Retraining needed or replace with robots.Btw the pharmacy is great. Kyle rules.
Every time you walk in, there is one person behind the counter and a huge line. Dont go here unless you absolutely have to. Whoever is in charge here clearly doesnt care about the customer at all. By far the worst CVS I have ever been to.
Been using both the pharmacy and convenience store for several years. No complaints whatsoever.
The worst pharmacy service I’ve ever experienced. You aren’t able to call to get help as they won’t answer phone.
I use this pharmacy because of its location. I agree that the staff just doesnt have the resources it needs. I have had a situation where it took my three visits just to get antibiotics. The first time they didnt have it in stock. Showed up the next day to, Oh, gosh, our pharmacist just never showed up today so sorry we cant get it for you. Third time was a charm but I sat in a really long line. It makes me sick because my guess is the corporate office has everything it needs to do its job.
Though not the fault of those who work there, this CVS has terrible service. Out of stock on basic prescriptions, prescriptions not ready when promised, slow service because the poor pharmacist is the only one working the drive thru, drop off and cash register. The pharmacy doesnt open until 9:00 am though they post 7:00 am. People are nice but CVS must not give them the resources they need.
Serious problems in staffing and customer service. Have had to come back at least 3 times for a prescription on several occasions because of wait times over 30 minutes. Some staff are apologetic, some are just phoning it in, all are clearly overwhelmed. One person on duty in a pharmacy of this size is bad management. We will be going elsewhere, despite our insurance coverage.
Very slow service . Line super long you can see another employee on the computer . He doesn’t even help. Update : no longer has public bathrooms . Waste of a drug/convience store
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The pharmacy has no staff to give any kind of help. It is laughable. I am sorry to say they are the closest CVS to me but I will be having my prescriptions sent to a different CVS Hopefully, that will help.
Use CVS to Shop and mostly to refill PayPal. They are really nice. Staff -- A+ management a B-
You guys need to work on getting your customers in and out of your store faster. I work for Walgreens, and our number one priority is the customers. We have multiple tellers available at all times to get customers checked out and on their way. I went to CVS the other day because I was in a hurry and it was closer to my destination. I was in line with 6 other people, with only one person at the checkout, and she wasnt making an effort to be quick, efficient, or even particularly friendly. In the middle of checking people out, she had to go over to photo to answer a phone call, which made our wait time even longer. Sorry, but the customers who are present in your store should always always come first. I was unhappy with having to stand in line for as long as I did in an understaffed store, and mediocre customer service at best. Please work on this.
Paid for a passport picture was inside for over half hr because they were unsure how to do it. Government would not accept the picture they said it was too bright so I lost time and about $14
I walked in a few minutes before closing time to pick up some medicine for my sick wife and child. As I walked in an older gentleman with glasses told me to hurry up because they were closing in a minute. So I hurried for some medicine and cough drops. I also needed some tissue and soup and the guy comeS up to me and said HURRY UP. I told him I just needed to grab some soup then he saidLETS GO WERE CLOSED. I told him its really messed up how youre actually trying to kick me out. He said YUP. I didnt end up getting the soup or tissue because of how he rushed me. Im in customer service myself and this is the worst Ive ever come across.
Recently went to CVS Richfield to get photos developed. Staff member knew nothing about how to develop photos there, was extremely rude to me, and treated me like I was an idiot. Will NOT be returning.
I love this cvs, I know people who work there and they are so nice. Its close to where I live and so quick and easy to buy anything. Walgreens is farther away and is a lot smaller. Defiantly staying with cvs
Worst service ever. Constantly are short staffed in the pharmacy. Will never have prescriptions actually ready when they call and tell you they are. Cause issues when filling them too to completely stop work to argue with you while you are on a phone call
Friendly staff always helpful
Always a fast and friendly experience here.
Seems like something fishy is going on in the pharmaceutical department, over three times they were off count on my medication, also my medication is a controlled substance (which is even more crazy) count your pills people, or the ex fiends behind the counter will take em if you dont call back to confront them.
Selection limited and overpriced. Employees lack knowledge or interest in customers.
I dislike the new hours!!!!!!!!!You have lost a customer. Going back to Walgreens,
Placed on hold for 10mins.
The worst!!
Its OK.
