Best video game place ever!!! [PART 1: 3DS] my parents actually found a [probably rare] Zelda themed 3ds xl, and i have been that same 3ds since. [PART 2: THAT ONE 3DS GAME I LIKE] this store was where [I think] I bought tomodachi life, which is the BEST 3DS GAME EVER! [miitopia is a close second] [PART 3: BUYING NEW GAMES] anytime I go to this store, I want one game, then spend probably 30 minutes looking at everything in the store, ITS SUCH A SMALL STORE WITH SO MANY GAMES [except any release of rhythm heaven because SCALPERS!]

I adore this shop! I have been here alot since they first opened and i never go anywhere else. The store is always clean and organized. The prices are always fair and the workers are willing to double check the prices if you have any questions. The 2 dudes that work here are amazing and will hold a mean conversation about video games and pop culture. Its nice to be able to shop at a store where they know what that are talking about. I always get respect when i come in and i will always give then my buisness over anyone else. Not to mention a selection of retro games all the way back to genesis. I love this place!

I have been to this store twice with issues regarding my ps4,(not purchased there),Nate assisted me both times. With absolutely no charge he offered both times to walk me through repairs,and when that didnt work,I brought it in,and he fixed it for me! No charge! Excellent customer service above and beyond

I have been to this store numerous times and have found the staff or be friendly and always willing to discuss games. They answer questions and will even try to help you find games that they do not have. I love to go in and just wander about and see what they have. Have fun browsing all the games and gaming paraphernalia.

Lots of cool things to look at, but a lot of the cool stuff was not for sale. Lots of old games. The guy that was working did not engage with us at all, even when we tried to ask about some things. He didn’t even look up from cleaning his Wii. Decided not to spend our money here. There are plenty of other places around town that have the same things or better and are friendly to their customers.

Game prices are fair I will say that with a very wide selection of older games. Sales staff on the other hand was very rude to my 5 year old son who tried to talk to him about his games basically ignored him. Wanted to get 3 games apprently the salesman couldnt find one of the games we wanted (didnt seem like he looked that hard for it to be honest) he might have saud two words to me while I was at the register. Mat come back again to see if its better next time but may be thinking about not coming back.

I love this store! The guys that work the place are fantastic to chat with, they always have a huge selection of games and will usually help me find it if they dont have it. The prices are always fair and they do a great job of keeping the store organized! Next time you need to find something retro for sure check this place out!

What can i say? I love this place! I have been here a few times and always had a great experience! The 2 gentlemen that work there are amazing everytime I come in! Both always greet me with a smile! They always suggest games if they dont have what im looking for and always have good prices! Not only that but when i trade games in they give good credit, way more then what gamestop would give. By far my favorite game store in the area. This place is a perfect example of why I like to shop at local mom and pop buissness! Highly suggest checking this place out!

My 2 boys and I buy nearly all of our games here. Fair prices and trade in value, good return policy (although Ive never used it, Im reminded every time I check out), and great suggestions from the staff make this store an awesome experience.

Me and my wife are 33yr old gamers, we have been gaming since the late 80s. I remember my dad taking me to game stores such as this. The since of nostalgia I get walking in the door is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly very customer oriented. The selection is amazing. If you are looking for it 9 times out of 10 they have it. BYE BYE GAMESTOP!!! This place is amazing and is now the only place I will buy my games. Thank you guys for opening such a fantastic shop.

Really great shop! I came by on the weekend and even though they were busy the gentlemen helped me diagnose my console. Ended up leaving with a few new games that came highly suggested. I will be back! :)

Great place! I have traded in many, many games - and every time I have walked out feeling quite happy. In store credit is the way to go. (Lets be honest, youre going to buy games anyway.) The staff are awesome - very friendly and helpful. They will have my repeat business.

Would not recommend this store to anyone prices are unreal found a 360 I can purchase off Amazon for $6 theyre trying to sell it for $35 a used ps2 for $250 GameStop has used ps4s for that price cashier was not helpful at all didnt say 2 words to me the whole time I was looking was very rude very high priced and very poor customer service! There is no way they pay that much for those games its someone trying line their pockets cause they either dont want to find a real job or their to lazy to actually do hard work!

I love this game store. Its the only game store I go to these days. I like the staff, theyre pretty nice to their customers, and theyll always satisfy the customers needs. Their selection is off the charts, top favorite game store Ive found in Ohio. The game store I used to go to hardly has as much of a selection as Ultimate Video Game Connection. Their prices are pretty good, I left the store spending approximately $200 and I got about 15 games. At any other store, youd only be able to get about 8-10 for that price! But there is a downside .... I have gotten several games, movies, and systems from this store. I have had to return quite a few things back to them, due to something not working properly. A couple examples: A few movies were skipping real bad, controller battery pack was corroded and made the controller shut off at random times, XBOX 360 console got a red dot in the center after only two weeks of having it!! (it was having problems from the start) But on the bright side, they were very cooperative with me and they replaced everything. Their customer service is very stellar, I just think they should audit their inventory more thoroughly/frequently.

Helpful employees and can answer most questions. Remember it is a resale store so only have games that they had bought back. But do have accessories for almost all game consoles.

Probably the best game store experience Ive ever had. I stopped by to check out the store and ended up spending two hours chit-chatting with another customer and employee. Needless to say the staff are super-friendly and the store is packed with a crazy selection of games at very fair prices comparable to even eBay. Its a game collectors heaven and Ill definitely be back.

Very nice selection, helpful staff. Store is decently organized. However there are virtually no price tags. You have to ask for the price of virtually every game you could be interested in, which makes shopping here cumbersome. When you ask for pricing, the associate gives you eBay or Amazon pricing. If I wanted to shop on the internet, I would. Their selection is good probably because few are willing to pay the ransom they are asking for.

I like that this company is a small own business, but they have no games you can play before buying a system. I don’t understand why anybody would buy a video game system without playing it first. Seems like something every video game store should have. Because of this I had to take my business to a large corporate store.

Honestly this is the best place to get videogames period. So far Ive been here 4 times. All of which have been phenomenal. Vast array of games, really good employees and affordable prices definitely deserves the name.

Totally the best game store in Columbus, Ohio. I totally recommend going there. Top deals, friendly staff, great choices new or old. I love going there whenever get a chance and since Tax Refunds I plan to buy my PS4 there not Gamestop. This store has the Top Trade deals ever, and I hope they never disappear. If I had five thumbs theyd all be up, but thats what the five stars are for.

Went there for the first time tonight and they have an amazing selection of games and even movies. Large selection of vintage games (NES, SNES, PS1, N64, etc.) and newer games (Xbox One, PS4). Highly recommend to you gamers out there. Will be going back!!

Selection is great and store associates are always friendly.On the flip side, for older games, the prices are extremely high. Usually 20-30 percent higher than market.But they have a good selection.....

Okay guys time for a glowing review.1. Quality of the video games and movies: i have never had a problem with a game or movie that i have bought from uvgc. I am even able to find hard to find movies like the special edition of the starship troopers 1-3 blueray dvd set or the dvd version of serenity.2. Staff friendliness: I go in and they always greet me as bud, sir, or man. Granted i go in a lot. They always make good suggestions when i have a hard time picking out a game or movie.3. Game selection: even though each section of games for each console is small, they more than make up for it by having a good selection of great or rare titles.4. And finally trade in prices for selling or in-store credit: This is my favorite topic. Unlike gamestop who cheats you out of money, uvgc gives you great prices on either trade in or selling.So if you are looking for a great store that wont overwhelm ou but give you a great selction of games or movies, ultimate video game connections is for you my friend.

The best used game store around! The selection is huge ranging from NES all the way to current gen consoles! The staff is super great and very helpful if you come in without a specific game in mind. They also sell videos and controllers and such.

Im Sold!!! This place is a God send compared to other retailers. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to everything video games. Ive driven by this place probably a couple hundred times so after I took a fairly recent released game to Gamestop for trade and they were only gonna give me not even a third of what I purchased it for I figured this would be the best time to try something new. Ultimate Connection ended up giving me roughly $20 for my trade in so from here on out this is definitely gonna be my one stop shop. So if youre ever looking to purchase a new console, game, controller or even memory card/stick give em a shot, I guarantee you wont be disapointed...HAPPY GAMING!!!

Great place they have a little of everything

Ultimate Video Game Connection is one of my favorite game stores in Central Ohio region. The first thing youll notice when you walk in is the vintage arcade games, the Sega Dreamcast and the awesome amount of posters and video game memorabilia. I personally love Links shield from Zelda, valiantly protecting the PS4 games, and when I come in a less than good mood it always gives me comfort to see the the Gears of War chainsaw rifle hanging over the counter, in case I go insane.The store has a wide selection of titles, ranging from a few SNES games to a large selection of current gen titles and of course tons of movies and shows. They even have a few rare titles and older consoles, I was surprised, and happily so, when I noticed a NES sitting behind the counter.There were some problems however, that cant be overlooked. I had issues with two systems, and a controller. I had to return a game and a few movies. I think, in order to prevent this from happening again with other customers they should invest in a buffer machine to clean the CDs when they come in.Overall the store has fantastic Customer Service, a knowledgeable staff and a great selection. If youre usually a fan of Game Stop (EB games) then youll enjoy lower prices and (generally) better customer service. If youre looking for a place to find obscure titles or older systems, youll only need to stop at one place, just make sure it works before you leave, if not, youll have to stop twice.
