What a fantastic job they did fixing my car that had dents on my driver door and repairing deep scratch marks! No only did they repaint but they had perfect blending. The paint looks like it’s been there from factory!!! Also they have a family vibe when entering the building and they charge a very fair price.

American auto painting & body worked on our family suv that had a quarter size dent and missing paint chip on it. I went in for a free estimate, spoke to Junior and he quoted me a fair price for the repair and paint. When I dropped of the vehicle I was told that it would be ready in 3 days, which it was. I paid the quoted price and months later it still looks new.

I took my car in for a full paintjob and extensive bodywork from it being damagedfew years back with it only having 61,000 original miles. I wanted it to look like the day it was new! I came in for a quote and professional opinion on my classic car. The service was prompt, professional and informative. I didnt end up using their service because what I was looking for was outside their business model. They did advise me on other options and gave me recommendations. I will come back to them if I ever am in need of auto painting.

I cant say more about my manager Jr at American. He is very respectful to our customers. He has trained Kelsey to do estimates herself and has been able to do them herself for some time. The whole crew is incredible.

I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Accurate estimate- Kelsey and Junior were pleasant and professional to work with. Car ready when promised and looked fantastic!! Their paint job was spot on. I was nervous that there would be more damage under the hood but they found nothing. Very friendly staff. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience. Very flexible in scheduling my job. Result was AWESOME. Turned a 1996 Toyota Avalon that was in fairly decent shape into a car that looked brand new. Junior was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and willing to work with me on the details. He even saved the old emblems for me! I dont know why there are any other paint shops around ... these guys are the best!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Junior and American Auto went above the call of duty to fix our Pick up. He helped us with the insurance getting estimates and making sure that they gave us good quality replacement parts instead of cheap beat up parts. They are also very efficient I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get the repairs done and get our vehicle back to us. The truck looks amazing!!!! I honestly can not say enough great things about this place. Thank you Junior and American Auto for helping us get our pickup back to beautiful..... You guys are awesome!

Did an amazing job on my paint for a reasonable price, I was very satisfied with the work that was done on my car HOWEVER I had showed junior exactly which door seals i wanted replaced and they replaced only some of the seals. This may have just been a quoting mistake or some confusion but after going back to see if they will do the seals i had wanted done in the first place i was quoted again for 350 for the seal kit and 250 for labor (3hours). Im happy with everything else but disappointed that i didnt get what I had wanted done what I had thought I paid for.

Theyre experts and know what they do.. Ive gone to multiple places to repair my trunk and everyone coming up with different issues. These guys hit the right place and fixed it in 2 mins. Without spending anything I got my truck working again. I highly recommend taking your car here for any body work.

The best auto shop Ive been at! This was my first time having them work on my car and I explained to junior that I was nervous taking my car into shops now because of previous events. He assured me he would take good care of my car and thats exactly what he did. I took my car in Wednesday afternoon and he was able to get this done by Friday morning. He repainted my bumper from someone hitting it and you couldnt even tell anything happened to it and to top it off he washed my car! Im very satisfied with this shop and will be coming here only!!

I have had 5 cars painted over the years with American Auto and Paint. They are professional, do great work and are very reasonable with pricing. I highly recommend this paint and body shop to anyone that needs work done to their car, especially older American vehicles.I also have a very hard believing anybody that has had a bad experience let alone writing a bad experience about this shop.Highly Recommended!!!Derek

Junior was so responsive and helpful. Explained all line items in detail. And car was done faster than expected. And omg...what an amazing job they did!!! It looked better than when the car was new. We will definitely be bringing our business here in the future. Thank you American auto .Now that I examine the car more closely I see that they went above and beyond. I had them remove the bumper guard restoration from the quote, because I did not want to pay for that. But they actually repaired the entire rear bumper guard (not just the recent accident damage)...and did not charge me for any of that work.Also...I got several estimates on body work/painting at shops in Issaquah and Maple Valley. American Auto was almost half the price!

Brought my car in after an accident with frame damage, they did an amazing job I couldnt be happier. Car looks great, and they were able to work within my budget. Cost less than the estimate!!

I had my truck to Junior about six months ago and they did a great job on it, then my wife got sideswiped on I-405 and ripped off her front bumper cover on our Volvo, of course the part cost almost a grand. Junior located the part, and did a nice job on the install. They also fixed a nasty ding, dent on the rear passenger door at a very reasonable price, you cant even tell it was ever there. They are a very good old school body shop and they are very easy to deal with. I wouldnt ever got to my insurance companies preferred providers what a crock, dont waste your time with any other shop, just come here. Thanks Junior!

Fantastic repair work on my 2011 Suburban. They repaired, painted and clear coated my hood, making a perfect match in paint color. Im fanatical about my cars and in this case, they did a perfect job!! P.S. they told me my vehicle would be finished in three days and without any prompting, they held true to their promise.

As a business owner of a repair and detail shop, i have sent dozens of my customers to American Auto Painting and not once have i heard one complaint. In fact nice reviews from all my customers. I will also say i have experienced there services on my own personal cars and to say i am happy with the service, price and delivery of the car.

Needed a $150-200 re-repair. Took Junior a couple of extra days to get the right parts. American didnt charge me for the repair because they knew I was paying for an extra couple of days for a rental car. Gotta love an independently owned and operated shop! Im going to send everybody I know to them.

By far the worst place I’ve ever been too. They claim to use good quality paint and professional care but they did none of that. The paint they used was the lowest quality, there are cracks throughout the paint job from where it wasn’t applied correctly. The paint has lifted off of the body panels and is chipping off in chunks. Their prep work was some of the justify as well, seeing how all of my door handles, trim, and some of my glass had been painted as well. It is clear where they paid little attention to since these instances happened throughout the car. There was also overspray on my rims along with coating the engine bay, which I had to pay to get removed as well. Their after care support is nonexistent, for when I called back trying to find the paint code they used and ask for the paint pen they said would come with the car I was met with an angry salesman who told me that I should “look it up”. Never again will I come back to this place.

I needed a quick fix to my car before work and they squeezed me right in at 8am. The auto mechanic was straight forward and listened to what I was looking for-thanks!!

I walked in without an appt. to get an estimate. Junior was welcoming and took time out of his morning to help. I called back just over 2wks later. I was sad, I thought I had to use the shop where my insurance company referred me. Junior educated me about the WA. state law & he remembered me and welcomed my business. The insurance company took a while (longer than needed) but Junior continued to keep me in the loop. I have my SUV back and it looks like it did when we bought it off the showroom floor. Thank you Junior & your team for great service with s smile!

They are not responsible after get your money. Although they tell you that you can bring your car back to them if there’s any problems, they won’t be like that. Like what I say, since they get your money, looks like they don’t want to be responsible for your car anymore. I’m so sad for them treat me like that.

Poor communication, just put down what they think the car needs to be done and do it without telling you even if it does not needs to be done. Big SCAMMER! DONT GO THERE.

Wow! I just picked up my red Rav-4 from Junior at American Auto Painting in Renton -- it looks like new! My car was keyed all around - not a panel was missed. Junior worked with my insurance to fix the key job. At no extra charge, he also took out all of the other scratches and small dings and dents - and waived the deductible too! I am very impressed with his work and service and wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Thanks Junior!

My experience with junior and American was superb Im so happy and satisfied

They are fair on the price of the work being done and very good at it.

Called them up, asked for an approximate estimate to paint my Jetta. Was told it was going to be $400, went up there, talked to them again, price remained the same. Went again with the car, I get an estimate of $857, more than twice of what I was told. Very disappointing! would not recommend them, thats not how business is done with people

So Ill start with what I came in forI have a 1988 celica gts I came in because my car was backed into and had fender,headlight and corner light damage.Ill start with the pros just to be nice.they are very friendlyeasy to talk tovery cheapconsI told them I wanted everything that was damaged fixed and they said ok.so when i got my car back they didnt completely pull my fender straightmy headlight wasnt addressed at allmy car was dirtier from when i gave it to them( granted my car was kinda dirty when i gave it to them but there were just boot prints all over my carpet. a simple clean up after yourself would be nice)when i was talking to them about my fender and headlight getting fixed they didnt even say theyll take care of it. they kinda just ignored the solution of them taking it and fixing it. and saying that it was my headlight bucket not owning up to what they told me they are going to fix for what i paid for.overall I wouldnt come back unless they fix my car for free and then maybe ill reconsider getting work done from them.advice from me BE VERY METICULOUS with your car when you let them fix it.

RUDE AND SCANDALOUS!!!! I was in an accident nearby and pulled my car in for safety and for a quote. When my insurance adjuster would not approve their quote because it was WAY TOO HIGH, I had to have the repairs done elsewhere. The guy was soooooo mad that he charged me over $700 just for letting it sit for a few days. I would NEVER use their services if they were the last place on earth!!!!!! Im just grateful my uncle stepped in to deal with the jerk!
