The store is easily found using Google maps as its visible from the street. The store its clean and well-organized. The staff is friendly. Diana gives amazing customer service and is really knowledgeable. Like really knowledgeable. She was the best part of the experience because she was personable and knew what she wad talking about. She was able to recommend something based on what we told her.

I stopped in looking for P28 Protein Bread; they don’t sell it here. However, they did have a decent selection of P28 products.

Great staff, and they almost always have what we need. Covid has made it hard for us to get a couple of items, but not always impossible.

I really have had great experiences in this store! Any questions that I have, I get my questions answered and I am satisfied. The staff seems friendly and caring which I admire. The other day, I came in to the store and suddenly, I was abruptly interrupted by a voice (gentleman) from the cashier saying, hey, do you have a face mask? I said, sorry, Ill get it in the car. Minutes later while i was inside, another customer came in without a mask...silence. He was not asked to wear a mask. He was inside the store for a while. What a double standard. I later found out that the customer without a mask is a gym owner. Viitamin shoppe in Reno, Seriously???

Helpful and informative. Lines tend to build as there is usually only 1 employee. However, the store is well stocked and the cashiers are very nice.

Very disappointed in the customer service of this place. Their card wasn’t working. I’m a loyal customer and was 4 dollars short on cash and they refused to give me a 4 dollar break. Terrible customer service, I won’t be back.

Placed an order online for one item to pick up in store. 36 hours later order still wasnt ready for pickup. Went in and after waiting for 20 minutes finally was able to have someone look up and grab my one item. Unacceptable.

The sales staff was rude and treats overweight people like they are invisible. Edit two years later: in hindsight it may not have been about weight. The staff did outright ignore me but would talk to other customers standing near me, so I am unsure about why that occurred. I was obese at the time so my knee jerk reaction was to assume the staff was fatphobic, but there may have been other factors at play. Upped to two stars since they still had a decent selection.

I like this place but they often dont carry the brands I want. So it only works for me 50% of the time.

I am not fond of the sales staff. They try and upsell to the point of being obnoxious and offer what I would consider bordering on medical advice. There are certain sales women in there (not so much the men who are ambivalent in suggesting much of anything in the way of help) who cite all sorts of facts and figures concerning products for symptoms and maladies they are likely unqualified to answer. Example: I wanted a calcium supplement, one that was fast absorbing. The sales woman directed me away from the calcium and insisted on something only recommended by physicians in extreme cases for (osteoporosis). It was dangerous for those with clotting issues or taking high blood pressure medicine, and not recommended without doctor approval. This was not the first time having issues in there with misinformation. Unless you are absolutely sure of what you are seeking to treat holistically and know what you’re looking for do not go in there and start asking questions for suggestions or advice or you may find yourself in trouble. I’ve used the Vitamin Shoppe in other parts of the country and never had issues like experienced here in Reno. If there were another store with quality product I would run not walk.

Well if a product doesnt work and your unhappy with it. They do not give you your money back they give you in store credit. He said well we cant sell it again, i said sell a product that doesnt work ok ? Never going back, go to GNC for supplements.

I always get good help. (And Im overweight.)
