I am so grateful for Brittany at Check City, I was blown off at Moneytree for a simple fix on cashing a check and they didn’t even listen to what I had to say, and were very unprofessional. I was hesitant to go to Check City just because it is linked to Moneytree but it honestly was a breath of fresh air speaking with Brittany and she genuinely seemed to care about my situation and found a way to help me.

Great Service!! First time I needed a loan I was worried bad about rent and got approved fast!! Second time again great service !! Highly recommend. (So good had to leave this review)

Came into the store completely lost and in over my head. I probably would have just stepped out the door but then a guy named Isaac surprised me by offering me one of the best customer service experiences Ive had in my entire life. He went through the entire loan process with me, explained things I never thought I would ever be able to understand, answered every single one of my seemingly simple but stupid questions, and generally just made everything seem way less scary than it initially was. Great customer service and free money orders? These guys got themselves a customer for life. Amazing job!

I have been doing business with Check City for many years now but this location here in Reno like always very friendly Connie always has a bright smile on her face right away put you at ease

They rate your line of credit for a loan based only if you are making current payments on a home or car. No other credit will ever do. So if you rent an apartment or take the bus you are s.o.l. here if you need any help to make it through a month. Making payments on a medical bill? Doesnt count. How about phone Bills, insurance bills, water or power. NOPE!!! Nothing that goes to your credit allows for credit except a car or a house and renting a house also doesnt count. Even if you had a good history with them in the past, they wont actually look into your credit unless you are in the process of buying a house or a car. Not owning, but buying.

This place has great staff and management Joy made me feel welcome last summer when I used their services for the first time in Reno. Place used to be good. Used to be I could go in there and get help when I needed it. They changed so many things and added so many new requirements for taking out a simple loan that it has come to the point where they refuse to work with me. Was told because we dont make payments on a car or something like that, we have no credit. (We dont make car payments because we own the car already.) Good news is I found real help at money tree. They didnt lock us out because we arent making current payments on a car we already own. I would say the place has gone down hill that would imply a progressive decline. No, this place fell right off a cliff. They no longer deserve my business.

We had an amazing ecpirenence at this location!!!!! Shaliza was outstanding and a wonderful joy to work with!!!! We were able to get more than expected with excellent customer service! We also interacted with the Sydney who was stellar and very informative! Thank you ladies for making our experience 5 stars!!!

The employees at the location that I go to are the most courteous polite friendly people that Ive dealt with in a long time I think they deserve huge kudos for everything they do a the manager is Joy Wilson and she is absolutely the nicest person I deal with sydney too!!

Sat here for 20 mins or so. Had to fill out an application and give references to cash a check. Still wouldnt cash it cause it is saturday and no one is open to verify a printed check. Waste of time and gas

The employees are top of their game. Never really had to wait in line and when I did it wasnt for long.They handle unpleasant customers,(who want everything yesterday), in a very perfessional manner.Keep the smiles coming guys, you always make my day when Im in there....
