So disappointed in Peter, the owner. The first time meeting this man and the last even though Id been coming to Swill for many moons he was super rude and even dangerous. Because after he made me a steamed cows milk wrongfull instead of what I asked for was a plant based Chai. I left Swill and began work. After about 20 minutes, when I took my first drink of what Peter had made me was not only Chai free but also Cows Milk (Im allergic highly) something that I am allergic to. I called to speak to him the moment I got a chance (at work) he showed no care, took zero responsibility, nor any empathy nor zero respect for HIS serious wrongful choice in producing a wrong and dangerous drink that made me sick even one gulp.

Amazing coffee! The coffee shop is bright with natural light and vibrant color walls. All the employees I have encountered are friendly. This is my new favorite coffee shop in Reno.

Never ordered anything because I was asked by an employee why I was filming with my iPhone. His abrupt manner didn’t sit well with me, if asked with a friendly demeanor I’d be their now to actually try what had. My one star is for the rude employee, not for the offerings of the establishment.

There is nowhere in town more welcoming and caring! The atmosphere is welcoming and calm with an air of fun, its like going home. The people and the owner, Pete and Wayne, are wonderfully down to earth and treat you like family. (You dont find that at thebig boys coffee houses!) The coffee cake is to die for!! The coffee and drinks are beyond excellent and the shakes are justAMAZING.

Friendly staff, great coffee, lots of tables, outlets, and couches not to mention some outdoor seating. Management is great and really cares about their property and the community. Add to all this that they make a fantastic (if a little pricey) cup of coffee, this place is a serious win for Reno. I live in San Francisco, and I wish there were a coffee shop this great in the city. Whenever Im in Reno, I spend as much time as possible writing at Swill. A must!

Im giving the owner, Pete, 5 stars plus a whole bunch more. Not because hes a social elite, but because hes real. He helped me contend with the liars at the church right around the corner and across the street, and he encouraged me to start playing music in public as well, letting me have access to his amazingly beautiful piano. Pete - keep on keeping on! He has a decent staff, too.

Visiting Reno for a wedding and felt very out of my element. Not really into the casino scene. Swill was fantastic, just a great place. The iced vanilla chai tea was the best I have ever had! The staff friendly, and the owner a gem. We had a terrific time, and gave us another side of Reno we enjoyed.

Absolutely love taking my kids here! Everyone is so accepting that my kids are actually kids. $makes it easy to catch up with friend while the kids play. Also met the owner and he is a man with a big heart. So thankful to support someone who donates all of his profit to charities!

When it comes to the space itself, I love it! They have some large high tops right by the coffee bar and then they have a massive community room that hosts all sorts of groups throughout the day, offers big tables to get your work done, and super reliable and speedy WiFi too!

Pete is the best barista owner ever. He always recognizes me, knows exactly what I want and even remembers our last conversation and will ask if a certain situation had changed for the better. He is so positive and I love bringing my friends here. Very clean and comfy with a splash of posh!

I come here quite regularly for various meetups. The service is always fantastic and the owner is extremely personable. They offer a good variety of coffees, teas and wine. I tend to try something new every time. Their snack area also provides some yummy options with bagels and the like brought over from Rounds bakery. There is plenty of parking (at least on Sundays) and even a couple of 15 minute spots for grab and go. A few outside tables are sure to get lots of attention as the weather warms up. You can even reserve seating areas for meetings and their calendar provides all sorts of opportunities to meet new people. Check them out!

Hands down the best coffee in town! They filter the water 10 times before it even makes it to the machines! The atmosphere is super nice and inviting here, there is awesome art on the walls there is always something new to see, plus the owner is an absolute riot to talk to! I love coming here just to visit sometimes!

The staff at Swill are always super nice and attentive, but the coffee often tastes a bit burnt IMHO, and the lounge room can get quite crowded and noisey (especially with the mahjong club - its like they relish how much noise they make). Still, a great Reno coffee shop. If youre in the area, its worth a visit.

I have not tried the food, but the COFFEE is so good. It is near my office and Ive been here a few times. You can taste the difference, especially in the mocha. They use some high quality cocoa. The price is comparable, but you get more for your money.

Great casual place to hang out with coffee, tea, etc. Not crowded. Spicy chai coffee was delicious and came in an oversized ceramic cup, not paper. Like supporting local businesses like this one.

Love the espresso here (and that I never have to ask for a double shot - bc who wants ONE shot of espresso?) And the staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. I brought a friend a latte from Swill and ran into her there the next day because shed liked it so much.

It is a cool place inside, but two baristas on two different days burnt my latte. For the prices they charge, they should have excellent coffee. The location is convenient for me and like I said the inside is comfortable, but I probably wont be going back a third time.

This is our favorite place to go for coffee ☕ They have toys for little girl to play with and a changing station in the bathroom which is far too uncommon in Reno. Extremely friendly staff and owners with rotating art exhibits make it a great spot to meet friends or attend one of their community events. As others have mentioned its great for casual business meetings as well.

Let me just start by saying, I rarely write negative online reviews. This isnt a warning, so much for customers, as it is for businesses wanting to deal with this company. I have a family member who is a very successful business man, he approached the manager about hosting a wine tasting there for his company and clients. Long story short, they completely blew him off, even after he went in personally to arrange the event. Another story, that happened to me personally. I was told that local artists were invited to hang their art in the shop, so I tried for weeks to meet with the manager about it, never seeming to be able to catch her in the store. Finally, I was given an email and told to contact a man to arrange when I would be able to display my art. The date I was given was for 3 months in the future, I stayed in semi constant contact with the gentleman and was really looking forward to my opening.... I even designed flyers, that I pasted out and emailed to friends and family... Like I said, I was really looking forward to it. About 2 weeks before my show was set to open, I emailed the man I had been in contact with..... no reply.... for a week... ONE WEEK before my show was set to open I get an email back saying that he no longer worked for the company and that I would need to contact them, so I did. I was told by the assistant manager, that they didnt have my event anywhere on their calendar or in their schedule, but that the manager would be in contact with me to rearrange my show............ its been several months and Im still waiting on that phone call.As for the coffee, it depends on who is working.

Swill is a swell place! They feature local artists, and promote community. Peter is a genuine, compassionate, loving human being! The world could use more of those!

Wow, the new owners have done an amazing job with this place! It used to look depressing, sad and empty. Now its colourful, inviting and much cosier with comfy sofa and arm chairs, a gas fireplace, artwork and jewellery on display. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and made me feel at home. And Mommies take note: its one of the few places in Reno that has bothered to install a baby changing table in the restroom! Oh and the coffee is good and very well priced. Top marks- Ill definitely be back!

I have my morning coffee here almost every day. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the coffee, provided by the Hub Roasters is mostly good-excellent.Every once in a while they have an off day, but overall this place is very good for its atmosphere and the hospitality of the owners and staff.

Coffees great, also a good spot for meetings. They have a large room that can be closed off and has a TV for presentations and seating for quite a few people.
