DO NOT buy anything from this shop. We were sold a defective device that would not work for almost 400 dollars. He swore that all of his merchandise was guaranteed for life at the time of purchase. When we called to see if we could get a refund because the device would not work, he refused and had poor customer service. He was extremely rude to my mother when she tried to explain what was wrong with the device. I intervened on her behalf because she couldnt get a word in. I became defensive and upset at his lack of professionalism regarding the situation. We were placed on a 3 way call with tech support . I mentioned that I was recording the device not working while on the 3 way call and the tech support assistant immediately said he didnt need a video and asked Dave what he wanted to do. Dave the owner then said he would give a refund. When my mother went into the shop to return the device and receive a refund he was extremely rude and threw her debit card at her in an aggressive manner. He then proceeded to tell her how awful I was and that I had an attitude problem and that I was going to be a problem. He is a rip off artist and lacks professionalism and customer service.

I was in need of pepper spray, and this wonderful man delivered it to me! All of this done within an hour!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Very knowledgeable and professional. I explained what I needed and he brought out several items that might work. He also demonstrated each of them. I found just what I needed.

I was in the Scotland Yard the Spy Shop yesterday. The first thing Dave ( the owner of the store) ask me was what state did I live in I told him California. .. he sid I will show you what i have that is legal in California. so I purchased a listening device... the Lassen County Sheriff Department told me that was not legal in California unless the person you were recording knows about it a lot of good. That would do me I called Dave the next day and told him the listening device was not legal he told me the Lassen County Sheriff Department did not know what they were talking about and refuse to refund my money so the moral of the story is do not expect a refund on your purchase periods I cant begin to tell you how rude he was on the phone.

The man behind the counter was very helpful and informative. The selection was good, Im impressed with the place.

We come here often and have always had good experiences. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The address Id wrong on here as of March 1, 2016 as they have moved from 1085 S. Virginia and are now located right across the street at 1092 S. Virginia.

The owner is quick to let you know if he does not have the items you need AND THEN he will call other places for you to see if they have what you need.

Im not going to go into specifics because I dont think many people care, but my experience with the man who runs this business was... not good to say the least. Ive lived in Reno my entire life and I can tell you as a local, DO NOT WALK IN HERE. It is a waste of time.The owner is a straight shooter and I respect that, but when dealing with customers he uses absolutely no discression.Besides the mans poor attitude and apprehensiveness when dealing with customers, there really is no need to walk in here considering the fact that hes selling specialty items that sell for much cheaper online.

Dave is knowledgeable and straight with customers. He gives good service, great products at competitive prices and always extra knowledge along the way.

The staff was extremely helpful, but I didnt feel pressured into buying. I was promptly called back after leaving a message. Way to run a business

This place is BAD BUSINESS. Sold me two devices for $70 and $80 dollars over retail. I would NEVER visit this place again, nor would I advise this place for anyone. This man is a crook, nothing less than stealing. No refunds offered because its how he makes sure to keep every dime he tricks you out of.I learned this the hard way, please everyone take heed and avoid this place all together. I would even offer you my assistance in finding the device you need for pennys on the dollar before I would suggest you go here for what you need.I tried to call and reason with the owner, he was nothing but rude and disrespectful, even hatefull when I tried to calmly ask him why he over charged me $70 and $80 dollars. Then he started to belittle me, and then even threatened to have me arrested when I told him I would exercise my right to peaceful protest on the public sidewalk out in from of his business.this place is BAD NEWS!!!!ONE STAR JUST BECAUSE I HAD TO SO THIS WOULD POST…. HOPE THIS HELPS CURB HIS BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.

They listed this business as open on their Google page but it was closed when we made the long drive over 👎

David was very demanding when he wanted help and very rude when he didnt.Lacks business etiquette.Would not work with again.
