Great experience all around!! Dr. Lee was really great at explaining my exam and how my eyes work. Rachel, Felix, and Delila were amazing when it came time to make my glasses fit. They took their time perfecting everything. I highly recommend this place!

The store is VERY clean! The staff was very kind, professional and personable. The optometrist is very precise in her profession and detailed in her assessment. My glasses were custom fit perfectly and I was given every option I could imagine to make sure I got everything that I needed to accommodate my eyes specifically. I highly recommend anyone who wants the BEST care for their eyes, to come here!! You will not regret it, guaranteed!!

I love this place! Its ran by a small team of people who all are committed to excellence. The most friendly and helpful people for your vision needs. Anytime Ive needed an adjustment or new screws for my glasses they have done it quickly and for free. Been to several vision places in Redding and none are better than this!

Dr Maggie was fantastic. Ive never worn glasses before but I was having vision problems and she was very thorough, yet also quick. I understood the whole process and I think she helped me make some great choices. Rachel worked with me on choosing my glasses and she was also amazing. She made great recommendations as far as shape, size and color and there was no pressure to get more expensive options. Yes, I probably could have gotten some cheaper glasses elsewhere but the service was well worth it.

Honestly, this is the place I highly recommend if youre tight on cash, but still want options for quility lenses. The staff on hand are all very kind, and helpful. Obviously, they will try to sell you; its a business, but they are nowhere nearly as pushy as other places and they all feel very genuine. I dont know, I rather like this place and I think if you read this, you may too! 5/5

After my glasses broke I took them back to site for sore eyes. I was allowed to pick out any pair of glasses I wanted at no extra charge. Everyone was very nice and there was zero wait time. It only took a few days for my new glasses to be ready for pick up. The staff cleaned the areas right away. I was met at the door with hand sanitizer and a thermonitor. I was very pleased with this business and I would recommend them for eye examines and glasses. Thank You Site for Sore Eyes for the new glasses.

I rarely write reviews about businesses unless I get exceptional service from them. I was 10-15 years overdue for an eye exam and new glasses (yes, Im one of those people). I had been hearing the radio ads for Site for Sore Eyes and popped in one day to check them out as I was in the area at the time. Felix was covering at the receptionist desk and politely answered all of my questions. Everyone said hi and were very warm and friendly. That goes a long way with me as I was in sales for many years. About a week later I made an appointment for the exam. Dr. Maggi was not what I expected. No lectures as some do. As the exam proceeded she explained everything and said I had a pre cataracts condition but it wasnt that bad yet. I appreciated her friendliness and candor. I had 2 pairs of glasses made and they are awesome. Felix made sure they fit correctly and that I was satisfied with everything. They are a small business and give great service as smaller businesses usually do. If you need any eye care, go there. You wont regret it, I promise

I have had nothing but polite and respective service from the staff. Occasionally we go elsewhere when we need a better deal. No lines and immediate help. They do offer higher end quality products in my opinion.I am doing a 4 stars. However I feel the star rating is too subjective. It is only one star less because if I can find a better deal I will go elsewhere. That can be inconvenient. However if I want to get in and out and have good advice, I see them first.

They are great.. . Went there when I had insurance. Then they changed insurance. This was out of pocket n worth it.Posting NOW that not so wonderful. Glasses are not right havent been. Last time went in the gal tried telling me that they needed to be fixed in the middle. Well thats it for me. Not ever going back. Spent over 500 bucks n worthless glasses....

I liked the doctor very much but the sales people no. They said they were in my insurance network but they werent! When I found out I owed over 700.00 for the glasses I said no I dont want them and they said I had to take them because they had already ordered them! On top of that the glasses didnt fit right, they were blurry, so they bent the frames to try to line up the lenses now the frames are always loose. They say you get a second set of glasses free but then they sneak in a 75.00 charge if you choose sun glasses for the tinting. I will never go back and advise people to not trust them when they tell you you are covered check your ins yourself.

Best experience I have had at an eye clinic and I have been to a lot of them! The staff was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the doctor really took the time to make sure I was getting the right contacts and even gave me several different pairs to try. I recommend this place to everyone!!

Very wide selection of frames and very helpful staff

I was going to another place but I switched to Site for Sore Eyes. I have prisms in my glasses. The other place said that they had adjusted my glasses as much as they could, but they were still not right. My glasses were making me feel sick to my stomach. I came here and they were able to adjust the glasses perfectly. They are also very polite and knowledgeable. There was also no waiting.

Very kind and knowledgeable staff, but so so so so very overpriced when it comes to frames, lenses and upgrades. Despite the free glasses they will give you, are still paying way too much. I believe that if they would be better priced/compete with the local competition, they would do very well. I took my RX and will be filling it elsewhere.

I hate the idea of having to wear glasses all the time. But the people at Site for Sore Eyes matched me up with a pair that I love. After 2 years I broke my glasses. They took them in and found parts to repair them. Awesome job! Very happy!

The people at my Site for Sore Eyes location were very helpful and friendly. They are a bit pricey in the end but they had a promotion that allowed me to get two pairs for the price of one. I felt the staff was very kind and willing to help and answer questions.

I had to come in/call in multiple times for appointments because of the consistent misunderstandings...The staff was kind but I felt the impression that they didnt quite know what they were doing (including the doc). My appointments would be forgotten, important notes from previous appointments overlooked or forgotten, not being prepared, miscommunication, being interrupted over the phone, confusion...Not my #1 vote.

Dont waste your time or money at Site For Sore Eyes they are very expensive and they will trump up the prices. The sale person is to busy countulating and adding to the cost of your glasses listen to what your needs and wants are. Really DISAPPOINTED on what i ordered and what i finally got . Not even close, tried to cancel the order 10 min. later but the sale person said they have a no refunds at the store and i stuck with what they gave me, I will never go back to Site For Sore Eyes they are a total rip off.

I just moved to the area & had an eye exam recently but since I had a sore eye they required that I pay $59.00 for an eye exam. I could not remember the name of the prescription that my previous eye doc had prescribed so I sent it over the next day via fax. Then they wanted another $25.00 just to call in the prescription since I wasnt in the office. I think it is horrible that they are so money hungry to have to do this! I will never go back to these greedy people who apparently have to rip people off!

Very nice staff but soo over the top expensive, I have insurance and they still want $500 dollars out of pocket for some Ray Bans. Ended up going to Costco and same glasses for $100, wow!!

I had scratched one of the lenses on my glasses and gone by another eye care shop (at the mall) and was told theyd need to send my glasses to Pennsylvania to a lab to get the lenses replaced and it would take about a week to 10 days. I went into Site for Sore Eyes where Id bought the glasses and the person there had the supplies (the blank lens needed for my frames) and equipment to make a replacement prescription lens while I waited! And I only had to pay for one lens. He was done in about a half hour and only charged me $30.
