This Dollar General is very poorly kept very disorganized no room to walk do to all the supply carts in walk ways and the customer service is very poor and extremely slow.. this is very upsetting considering Dollar General is one of my favorite stores to shop.

Gave 4 stars because I wasnt sure what store location 5 stars to the one on Bonnyview the one on Lake Blvd needs some major improvement not stocked very well and under staffed most of the time..the store manager or district manager need to staff more on truck days or schedule overnight stocking the 2 employees cant help customers timely and unload and stock a full truck of supplies it causes some foods to melt before being refrozen and many many empty spots where items are not stocked...the employees work their butts off always keeping cheerful despite the bad management and yes I blame management because Ive seen other stores functioning fine nicely stocked and plenty of staff.

Difficult to walk through the store with stocking carts completely down the middle of the store and far right aisle. They did have what we were looking for at a good price with not many other stores close by.

I went to Dollar General for a few items this afternoon. I was pleased with what I found, but when I went to check out, the cashier was very rude! I asked what register he wanted me at, and he said, The one with the light on. There was no humor or common courtesy in the way he said this. I continued to be kind and friendly. As I was checking out, he was very dry and rude in his comments to me. When I left, I told him to have a nice day. He never looked at me or smiled. I cant even remember if he responded to me. I do know he told the gentleman coming in, Welcome to Dollar General. I thought this was interesting since I didnt receive a welcome or ANY common courtesy the whole time I was in the store. Once I came home, I told myself to let it go, but unfortunately, I keep thinking about how rude he was to me! I will not go back to that Dollar General. Customer service means a lot!!!

Great staff, Heidi is my favorite. Only issue I have is there isnot enough staff to run there store. Other than that great place to shop!

I love this place,if you dont see it there some one always ther to help an beleve it or not will help you. Zack always gets anything thats up to high that I cant reach. Hes always nice to.

I would rate them 5 stars but theyve been or if so much lately. I did that could be beyond their control though.

Dollar General is great prices are low. The shielfs look kinda empty of merchandise.I only have one complaint the aisles are to small its hard to have 2 people in one place.

Was a little disappointed, I truly like dollar general but this location was dirty, and very low on product and I am assuming cashiers. It took a while to purchase 2 batteries

Not sure why its called Dollar General. I didnt think it was a dollar store but this place isnt really any cheaper than your typical store. I assumed Id save some money shopping here. Plus side, staff is very friendly!

Got what I needed. It was a little cluttered but thats ok. They were putting stuff away.

The coupons you clip online are a joke but the cashiers do their best to make it right. I shop here daily and love all the employees!

Always Merchandise everywhere. Its like a yard sale that started all setup. But so busy they couldnt maintain It. Super clean and inexpensive. Cashier was very helpful.

They took the dollar out of the general nice marketing ploy to get you to walk in and spend more then a dollar other wise this store rocks i like there items and cool stuff ya cant leave there with spending just a dollar

This dollar general is usually pretty busy. It does have a pretty decent selection. However if you are in a rush then it is not the place for you. The staff is usually very friendly. Inside the store it is very clean while the outside has a myriad of trash mainly designated to the parking lot. While not always the quickest choice its location is very convenient.

Shelves were bare. Massive amount of palettes waiting to be unloaded, blocking view of items. The 3 things I came in for were unavailable. Place very messy. One good thing - cashier was very friendly, and explained that they had received several shipments all at once. I will try this place one more time and see if its improved. Boy, I sure miss my Dunsmuir Dollar General!

The Dollar General on lake Blvd is awesome. Employees are always friendly and provide great service. The prices are awesome. Wide variety of products.

The staff at this store are always so friendly. My issue is that this store is always so disorganized. They leave rolling racks all over which makes it hard to get around and the shelves look like someone dropped everytimr and then threw it on the shelf just so it isnt on the floor.

Couldnt get through the isles because of inventory not put away

Although I appreciate all the diverse product that this store offers the general public I do believe they display way too much product on the store shelves and floor at one time. The aisles are already very narrow and its very overwhelming to be in the store at times because there is stuff everywhere..This is not a reflection on Dollar general as a business but a point that needs to be made... I was irritated to watch two full grown African American men walking through the store eating a bag of chips acting as if they were trying to buy this that and other for somebody but they just kept walking up and down the side aisle just eating an open bag of chips. I left before they did I was given a feeling, placed upon my heart that they didnt pay for that bag of chips. Note to the unwise those who act with no integrity... do not be surprised when the consequences come falling down on top of you. You may not get caught while youre eating a bag of chips in the middle of a store or letting your child eat food thats not paid for which teaches them the wrong kind of ethic but God Almighty that created all things the One many people ignore sees all things open and secret. The scale always gets balanced.Please do the right thing because the One God Creator is always watching and He will remind us all on the inevitable day all things hidden.

There is no enforcement of masks. Six of the ten people that i watched enter the store didnt wear a mask. Im a high risk person( 72 with other health issues) i do need to be able to shop i have no one to do it for me. I called corporate and was told they dont enforce it because they dont want any confrontations. Just a FYI for those who want to be SAFE

Do slot of my hunting at thus location. Dont go here anymore unless Im around this location. Everyone I go in here theres tons of stock sitting out on the floor. Day after day the same stuff is out. Maybe 3 or 4 days later its gone. To much problems to list

I have never had an issue with customer service here.. great place for at times finding a good deal especially on batteries hair gel or frozen pizza LOL they also always have a bunch of great deals when it comes to beverages so if youre looking to save a couple bucks definitely worth checking out

I like going to the Dollar General on Lake Boulevard recent save opened my husband and I have gone in there and purchased soaps and so does candy dog food cat food you name it theyve got it yeah I just wish they would bring one in Shasta Lake City

So I have never been to Dollar General until now. As soon as I walked in I was shocked by the amount of aisles and displays packed into the tiny store. The aisles were narrow but I must say, it was pretty well organized and had a good variety of merchandise to choose from. Prices were also reasonable too. Obviously not everything was $1 but they did have items throughout the store that cost $1.

Was looking for a large plastic wading pool...was told they had them...All they had was small ones

Great place has EVERYTHING .you looking for ..crafts, close, toys,holiday stuff,kitchen,car,beauty,baby, adult hygiene, snacks food drink if you need anything is there and have something in a location for easy accessible for all of those that might not have vehicles or those that do in this area its close and you can get all there in 1 store .. the workers are awesome bass keep it clean and everything is always stocked. Prices are fair and I always get good deals each receipt comes with a $5 off coupon that you can redeem on your next visit . They have an app that gives you digital coupons and you just download that app and before you go in you just put all your coupons in and then they take it off at the register nobody else I know offers that?? I love the place ..just saying..

Before going to store, I spent 25 minutes on their app clipping digital coupons. I had 26. It wasnt until the clerk finished ringing me up when she said the system wouldnt accept my digital coupons because she totalled the sale prior to me entering my phone number. Instead I had to pay full price and my total was $114. I had coupons for buy 2 get one free, buy 3 get fourth for. 01 on top of my regular discounted prices coupons. Very disappointed and this is the third time in 2 years this has happened.

Shady deals going on in the parking lot every time Im there and also saw a homeless guy put on deodorant in the store, put the item back on the shelf and walked out.

Great for convenience. Never enough cashiers on hand. Always only 1 who has a line of 10 to 15 people. Sometimes you get a friendly one other times you get the one who you can tell hates her job.

I ordered some stuff online that was in stock and its been 2 weeks. No shipping information and no product. This may not reflect on the store itself, but definitely dont order anything online from Dollar General. Their online service is a joke.
