It is obvious the first reviewer did not read the advertisement. It says windshield repair!Chips to quarter size and long cracks to 24 inches (2 feet long)! Good grief Charlie Brown, hard to comment on someones work if you never had any done.I had my windshield repaired by Crackmaster and I am totally amazed by his work. The finest work I have ever seen done. My windshield got hit by a big rock that fell off a flatbed of a trailer from sand and gravel place locally. Wont mention their name. Anyhow the rock looked like it did some serious damage. After Crackmaster worked on it, I could hardly tell where it was. Besides I found out he is the only one in the area that has a BAR license. That means a license to repair windshields from the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I was scared to take it to one of corner jobs, you know the ones on the street. I am so happy with the Job he did I have been telling my friends. Guess what? I was right they are happy too. I wouldnt trust anyone else after I have seen his work, I dont care what anybody says, I know what I saw and it is still holding up good, and I feel safer knowing I made the right choice. Seriously people, you need to watch him work, I did for a bit, it was like watching a scientist at work. What a gem! Picture this: Friday 4 PM, 35 minutes from shop, on road home 200 miles away, get window chip that must be fixed immediately (very expensive windshield that previously irreparably cracked because of chip around edge). Called Jeff. He says if you can get here, I can fix it. I did, and he did, with thoroughness, courtesy, clear explanations, and down right joy at finding someone who treated the situation as if it were his own. I will visit Jeff just to say hello next time I am in town, and am envious of those Redding area folks who have him to rely on.

If you ever happen to get a rock chip or crack on your windshield, I highly recommend taking your vehicle to this place to get it repaired instead of replacing it. It will save you money. I had a rock chip on the passenger side of my vehicle driving back from Mt. Shasta and it expanded to 9 inches. I took it in to get repaired, and the crack is hardly visible anymore. Great outfit with very reasonable prices. Replaced windshield inside 30 minutes (with an appointment) and can repair up to a 24 inch crack in an original windshield (retrofit or aftermarket windshields lose the factory seal and seem to be cheaper to replace than fix).

The crack on my lexus SUV was particularly severe. he quoted me a price that was much better than a replacement windshield. he worked over 3 hours after his shop closed to finish welding the glass, and he stayed with his price when I picked up the rig.Jeffs business is unique to the area because he actually will put his word on his work, he guarantees the strength of the glass after he is done. He is the only one in the northstate that actually does more than just basic chip repair and glass replacement.I can only ocassionaly notice that there was once a 30 crack on my windshield. Jeff knows his stuff! I would definitely choose him before one of those cheap on the side of the road guys! Dont replace your windshield if you can avoid it. Get the crack fixed by a certified repair shop. I learned the hard way that you dont want to break your seal. I had another shop replace mine before talking to Jeff and a year later after the warranty expired i am hearing whistling and air coming thru the seal of my windshield. Check with him about repair before you go replace it! I also found out that the insurance companies say they wont cover it-but you send in the receipts and you will get a reimbursement.
