My family and I have always had volvos. We took them to jimmy for years. We’ve now moved on to other cars but we still take them to jimmy. I even trust my camaro with him. The other mechanic he works with, ray, is a camaro lover as well. I feel very confident leaving my baby with them! They are incredibly honest. They’ve actually saved me thousands over the years when the dealership would try to scare me into fixing things that weren’t necessary. They’re very honest and do great work. So thankful I have this place! You can tell jimmy really cares about his customers and making sure they’re safe.

Jim is the most honest and professional mechanic I have ever dealt with. He doesnt try to oversell or fear-monger clients into purchasing more than they have to, and he is extremely upfront with which repairs need priority and which do not. Having dealt with poor deals and unfriendly mechanics in the past for my Volvo C30, Jim was the first and only one to give me real feedback and advice, along with timeframes for major repairs without making me feel like I needed to do everything right away. Had to get my 08 Honda CRV air bag replaced as part of the Takata recall. Dale Aldridge, aka Kawika, was my service guy and he was awesome! Very cordial and communicated very well with me throughout the process. I was very impressed with my experience with Kawika and VC Automotive.

Very knowledgeable and honest. Took my Volvo in for an oil change. Volvo recently changed the specifics on the type of oil I need. I had received an online quote from the owner. Once there, he saw the sticker that I needed the specific (more expensive) synthetic. He still honored his quoted price, which was 1/4 of the price the dealership wanted. He also explained the need for this oil (since the dealership never did when I was there for my last oil change.) As a woman, you always leave an auto shop wondering if youve been duped....not here.

Jimmy is the best. I only buy Volvos so he can work on them. Hes helped me with multiple issues, and has always been fair and honest. He even helped me buy my last car, an XC90 he had been servicing! Cannot recommend enough!
