Had a rack and pinion leaking, and he was able to fix it much faster than I expected. Heard about him from a coworker and theres no one else Id go to for my Volvo.
Top Volvo mechanic in Ravenna Ohio. I drove from New Yawk to go there. Rare Find and good for the avid Volvo enthusiasts. You can see that he is honest and highly competent. We bought a headlight assembly from him .
This is the best place on earth to take any Volvo any year or model. Great service and prices. They will be honest and wont be high priced like a dealership, they know more about Volvos than Volvo does. Give them a try and I promise theyll treat you right.
Great service great prices nothing fancy, my kinda place.
Mark was polite, honest, very educated and knowledgeable as a mechanic! Definitely a man you could trust! Like back is the days were a hand shake was a mans word!
These guys are great for car repair! They specialize in Volvo, and they were honest and fair and reasonable.
Great place to take any car honest friendly
A really great place to visit and get your car worked on and very knowledgeable, dealerships wish they had the knowledge of these gentlemen.
I’ve been going here before they had to change their name. They do great work and very nice people. Thanks
A great place to go for a Volvo owner!!!!!!! will not take my Volvo s80 anywhere else and I live in Nashville Tennessee. Great place lots of Knowledge. Thanks Gentleman it is always a pleasure!!!!
Good place to get werk done
I dont leave reviews often but these guys really deserve 5 stars. Been taking my girlfriends V40 here since we bought it and theyve always been very helpful and done a great job at reasonable prices. I will continue to have this Volvo serviced here for the life of the vehicle
David and Mark are very polite and take their jobs seriously. Great job every time and price is best around thank you.
Quality and affordable service. Mark took the time out of what he was working on to fix a problem with my vehicle and explain everything. Thank you!
Unfortunately, my experience wasnt as good as most that have posted here. Seems like a great group of guys, but a few days and a few hundred dollars later, and the car still was not fixed. Needed to take it back to the dealership to get it fixed. Nice scenery with all of the old Volvo cars and shells sitting around, just didnt work out for me.
A bit off the beaten path but they are honest and fair, and can service imports like Volvos.
Super awesome little shop. Great customer service very friendly staff. Amazing prices
Friendly, and they still have a few things to pick/pull here.
LOVE these guys!!! I own 3 Volvos! the best in the state!Mark,Carl and David are the most knowledgeable around. would never takemy car to anyone else!
Ive owned several volvos over the last couple of decades, and these guys have worked on them. Fair, honest, skilled. What more could you need?
Top notch people who know Volvos as well as the manufacturer does. Easy to talk to anyd very fair prices as well. Carl and Mark wont steer you wrong on advice when it comes to these cars.
I cannot say a bad word about these guys. They have fixed my Volvo twice, and both times they did exactly what they said they would do, and they did it quickly, affordably, and correctly. I will NEVER take my Volvo any place else. Ive tried others, and been burned, and have learned my lesson. When it comes to fixing Volvos, Drennan Service is the place to go, period.
Consistent repair work and always priced well
Good service knowledgeable mechanics good prices.
Took two 240 wagons here a year apart. First time was great, got a tune up and several repairs for a great price. Second time not so great. I asked for a tune up and to have the cooling system looked over, informed them that I would be driving the car several states over for a move. Cost me $740 only to have the car overheat two days later due to the water pump having been bad. Had to tow it behind a uhaul the rest of the way for $1,000. For $1,740 I couldve bought a new wagon, or paid a moving company to ship my car and belongings and hopped on a plane. I understand that oversights happen, but cant help but be disappointed in the results.
Only wish I had found these guys sooner. Would recommend them to literally any and every Volvo owner in the area.
Great people! Went out of their way to help me correct some small problems with my S60. They seem to always do their best for me.
Had my S60R serviced by Mark Drennen. He pointed out a bunch of stuff that the Volvo dealership didnt notice a month before. He knows more about Volvos than anyone else its amazing. They have a very complete and capable shop to do anything on any Volvo. I know they will be there no matter what end up going on with my caR. They also have a small salvage yard of mostly any Volvo. I highly highly recommend you come here to service your Vo.
I am from Ct, driving to Chicago, when I encountered an issue with my 2002 Volvo V70 XC, where it apparently ran out of gas 5 miles short of Streetsboro, OH on I-80 W in the evening, with about 1/4 tank showing on the gage and only 350 miles since last fill-up. Roadside assistance put in 2 gals of gas and it started back up. Made it to the Service plaza, then next exit. (I wasnt convinced it just ran out of gas. It just wasnt adding up.)I called Drennen Service in the morning for a computer scan request and possible troubleshooting. They indicated they were pretty busy, but when they heard I was out of town, they said come on in and they would get right to it. Sure enough, they jumped right on it, scanned it, and indicated no codes, but just an intermittent O2 sensor, but explained that would not cause a stall at highway speeds. They explained that my Volvo has two separate cells in the fuel tank, a small one on the drivers side, and a larger one on the passenger side. Further explained the venturi-effect pump in the left cell, if not working correctly, could cause the right cell that had the high pressure feed pump, to run out of fuel. They recommended that as long as I kept the tank filled more than 1/3 full at all times, I should be good to keep going to Chicago and back home again.Outstanding, honest service and advice. Highly recommended. They know Volvos and will treat you right. Dont be put off by the back scrap-yard like appearance of their workplace ... it is their knowledge and expertise that is the important factor, not some fancy Dealer waiting room lounge with TV and coffee while an expensive repair that you might not need and may not even solve the issue is ongoing. These folks are the real deal and I concur with the other comments here that they know Volvos better than the Dealers do ... Im convinced they certainly do! (and Im an experienced electro-mechanical engineer that performs a lot of major work on my vehicles myself)
Awesome people work there!
All the parts and knowledge when I need it
