Ordered 1 inch drawer slide spacers. Received locking tongue shelf supports instead. Company wont return my messages to get a return authorization number. Ordered from another site, received and installed and WoodbStock hasnt even gotten back to me yet. Wont be ordering from them again.

Bought partial wrap hinges and some of the hinges looked like they are not bent right and the doors are not closing all the way. Called to get technical help and they told us over the phone we can return them. Got the email and it said the hinges had to be in sale-able condition to return them. I am hoping this company does not sell defective product. I responded to the email to verify their statement and hoping to get a better response on their warrenty/return policy.

My first time purchasing hardwood from this company I walked in said i need to purchase some wood how do i do it? The employee said follow me and I will show you. He walked me through the area pointing out each species along with the exotic wood section. I knew how to measure for board feet but he politely explained the process. He said make your selection and let me know when you are ready. I have since made many purchases and I have received this same level of service from each employee i have worked with.

Not a good experience this time. I have used this place 8-10 times. Never again. I drive 2 hrs one way to buy wood from them. They have never been particularly friendly or helpful but I have always put up with it, you know support local businesses. Well I have never had a problem having them cut anything I need. Now they wont cut unless its an exotic. I needed 4 ft of birds eye maple and 3 ft of mahogany (exotic) nope they wouldnt cut it. These were out of 16 pieces, leaving them plenty to sell. I was pissed. I was going to buy a couple of $100 in wood. I guess I will get it somewhere else. Lost me as a customer, and I will be sure to tell as many people as I can about this lame place.

I visit Wood Stock Supply every time Im out in Rapid. They let you browse the stacks, you can buy small quantities, and the selection and variety is incredible, from North American hardwoods to exotics. Most important of all to me, they still sell small quantities to the little guy, the home shop craftsman. None of the Sioux Falls area hardwood suppliers will do that anymore, none of them. Wood Stock Supply is great, and they beat high-priced hobby stores like Rockler and Woodcraft by a mile.

It is irreplaceable to have a supplier like Woodstock Supply. Prices seem reasonable and service is friendly and helpful. Sometimes the stock racks are low which can be frustrating.
