Absolutely was impressed with the work that was done on my vehicle. The damage done to my vehicle was covered through my insurance and there were no issues. Frequent calls from an ABRA employee on the status of the work being done.There was a lot of work done on my car and nothing was forgotten or done not to perfection. The paint job was spectacular. The detailing of my vehicle inside was awesome and wasnt expected. Someone even folded my kids clothes in the trunk. I mean totally professional and work is done to the highest standards. I would definitely look to this business for future vehicle needs.

After an unforeseen accident (not our fault), we received a generous amount toward fixing our truck. The only downside was how long it took for Abra to get us in for an estimate (3 weeks), but that was more than likely because apparently there are a lot of fender benders in Rapid City at any given time. However, we received our compensation only 1 day after our appointment!!! Well worth the wait indeed!

ABRA did a very good job on our car. The front bumper was tore off from and accident and they made the bumper and car look new. They are very professional and good in the work they do. I would recommend everyone to go to them for any body work you need.
I went to them in the summer of 2020 to get my vehicle fixed after I got rear ended and to fix a previous dent from when I hit a snow drift. Today I noticed they forgot to put back a radiator bolt back into my radiator causing the radiator to puncture a hole in my ac line. They also forgot to put back a few clips and screws in my wheel wells. I am extremely disappointed. I called and they said they didn’t have any records of touching my radiator but I’m confused as to how they replaced my front bumper without getting the old bumper off which would mean exposing my radiator. My radiator is also dented from the accident they did not fix or replace. I am so angry and upset.
Great job as always. Difficult repair replacing interior from air bags deployed, sectioning of body structure, and replacing doors. Minor paint issue at pickup was quickly resolved. Shawn kept us updated throughout the repair process. Thanks again to Ken and the entire team.
We hit a deer while on vacation and when we got home, they got us in and sent the estimate the same day. We were kept updated every time they ordered parts or put them on. They even detailed the interior!

I actually had a really good experience working with this auto body shop, I worked with Tessa. Although it took a few extra days to get my car then initially told Tessa was very communicative about this. My car is a VERY unique color, sonic pearl grey, one of the newer Honda colors. So it wasn’t surprising it took longer to paint. I appreciate that the technicians repainted it after not initially liking how the paint job looked. It was nice to know they didn’t want to give it back to me not perfectly matching, so the 2 extra days it took being in the shop was VERY worth it. My car looks brand new!!! Thank you Tessa and the guys that worked on my car! Your attention to detail does not go unnoticed and I highly recommend this place.
We’ve had our van for a little over a year now and been backed into twice. Both times we took it to ABRA. They have done a great job for us and we’re incredibly professional in doing so. Our estimator was Tesa and she is absolutely fantastic, she makes the process painless. I showed up to pick it up before they opened, my own fault, and she opened the door and let me in with a smile. Did a great job on my car after had severe hail damage. I feel like I have a brand new car now. Only drawback is it took almost 1 month.
Great body work and the painter can blend paint to factory perfection. Only downside they washed off the decal on my pickup by getting too close with the nozzle and the replacement on is already peeling from improper adhesion.

Snow, ice, deer and hail have required me to have body work done on my vehicle several times over the last 11 years. I have always taken my car to Abra for all my repairs. They are so good at what they do and I have always been completely satisfied with the finished result. The staff and service technicians are easy to talk to, professional and do their best to make sure I have a good experience. I would highly recommend Abra for your auto body repair. And they do great windshields too!
I was very happy with the amount of time it took to complete the job.
Purchased a vehicle that had a cracked windshield that the dealership fixed before purchase. After picking up the vehicle I noticed that there was air leaking around the windshield while driving. I contacted the dealer which they then told me to talk to Dwight at ABRA as he was the person to install the window. After speaking with Dwight I had a appointment for the next day. When I arrived for my appointment I explained to Dwight that the air leak was on the passenger side and showed him. After waiting roughly an hour Dwight comes out and says he found a leak, he got it fixed and it was ready to go. As soon as I got onto the interstate again the air leak was just was it was before with no difference. On my way home stopped at another body shop just to have them look at it and help me find the leak. They remove the pillar and examined the windshield where they found a total of three spot where the windshield was no sealed totaling almost three inches. There recommendation was that the whole windshield needed to be replaced as there was not a way to fix it correctly with out removing the windshield. They also did not find any fresh urethane like Dwight had explained that he fixed. I then reached back out to Dwight about the situation and asked how we could resolve it as I had already wasted half of one day trying to fix the situation and live 50 miles away. He said there was nothing he could do unless I brought the truck back to the shop. I then found time to get the vehicle back to Dwight for repair again. I explained again where it was leaking from and had it all marked out where it was leaking. I also told him what the other body shop had explained to me about being able to fix it correctly and how just running a bead of urethane on the inside of the window is not the correct fix. Dwight assured me that he was not going to do that and was going to fix it correctly. Once the truck arrived for the appointment I showed him again where the window was leaking. Once I did that he had explained that he never fixed that area the first time and that he resealed the other side of the window as thats where he thought it was leaking. After the vehicle was there for roughly 5 hours I picked it up and he assured me he had it fixed correctly. As soon as I got back in the vehicle looked at where Dwight had done the repair and there is now just a bead of urethane run down the inside of the window and smeared out on to the window. There is also a chunk of a blue shop towel very visibly stuck in the urethane as well. I am so disappointed with this entire situation and hope I never have to deal with them again.

On May 3rd I hit a deer with my wife’s new car while on vacation. My insurance asked where I wanted to have it towed and not knowing anywhere out there I went with their recommendation of Abra. On that following Tuesday I received an estimate but they said they needed to take it apart to get a more accurate estimate because the hood wouldn’t open. I gave them the go ahead and then Wednesday I had another estimate. It seemed really high considering the amount of damage I could see but I’m not an auto body guy so I trusted them. They also told me it might of damaged the distance sensor for the adaptive cruise control and that would be another $5-6k but they wouldn’t know for sure if that was bad until they got it done and sent it to the dealer. Again I gave them the go ahead and was told it should be done around May 28-29. Seemed pretty far out but again I’ve never worked for a body shop so maybe that’s realistic. Anyway I told them I would be planning on flying in on June 7 to pick the car up allowing them an extra week if something were to go wrong. Fast forward to the week of May 20 and I talk to them and get reassured it will be done before June 7 so I buy my plane ticket and get a hotel. The following week, toward the end of the week, I get another call and it’s not done but just needs to go to the dealer and have some things finished up. Still looks good for being done on the 7th. Then that week of the 7th I call on Wednesday and get told it’s all done just needs to go to the dealer to see if it needs that distance sensor which at this point I realize that won’t be done if it needs it. Not a big deal but definitely inconvenient considering we are a week past when I was told it would be done. Then Thursday comes around and I get a call mid day that they broke the windshield molding and won’t have that till Monday. I tell them whatever they can just mail me the part and I’ll put it on (I am a very experience auto mechanic). Then I get a call a couple hours later that it needs the distance sensor which I tell them no big deal I’ll just get that done back in Iowa. This is where they start lying. They told me that the car isnt drive able without that sensor and that the front bumper isn’t done because it needs to be off for the dealer to check it out and calibrate it! That sensor is 100% accessible for adjustment with just the top plastic cover off of the radiator support and it only affects the cruise control! Then I get told the bumper can’t even go on because a major support bracket is broken. That is unacceptable to me at this point so I get transferred to a manager who I tell very plainly I’ll be bringing tools and fixing it in their parking lot if that bumper isn’t on Friday afternoon when I get there. So I arrive there everyone is very pleasant to me and the manager got the bumper put on but I notice nothing fits right but I just want to go home at this point so I take the car and leave. Fast forward to back at home and I take it to a body shop I trust and give them the list of work Abra supposedly did and he shows me what they actually didn’t do and what they did completely wrong. Things like not painting the hood hinges and park sensors that they billed our time to paint, gluing the park sensors in instead of using correct clips, not fixing the radiator support correctly so the hood would fit, over spraying onto my wheel well liners, using random bolts and clips instead of the correct ones (like the hood bolts were all different). But the biggest crime of all is that the distance sensor they said it needed was just unplugged. Plugged it back in and if self cleared all codes then went to the dealer to be relearned and it was perfectly fine.These guys seem extremely professional and will treat you with respect but they are blatantly lying and taking advantage of people.I want to say another shop fixed the car back to being perfect so it wasn’t impossible.

Have dealt with ABRA twice now, both times have been great Dwight is very good at his job and wonderful to work with. There is always the feeling that you might get overcharged with car repair, but not here. They do the work well and for the most reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Took 30 days just to get an estimate! They simply walked around car and would not include or look at undercarriage damage!Gave me an estimate and then turned one into my insurance that was over 2000 lower! Had i not checked into the difference i would have had to pay out my own pocket and had they fixed all it would have totalled the car! and this was verified with my agent! Seems they are taking a lot of shortcuts and dont fix everything at their own discression! More than likely will be investigated by my insurance company!

We were referred to Dwight by the Ford dealer. We could not roll up our driver side window and we were traveling through Rapid City. Dwight got our window up and taped it so we could get back home. He took care of the problem on the spot. He was courteous and his customer service was excellent! We highly recommend this company.

Non-accommodating company for starters. My car was hit while I was in Rapid City and I currently lived an hour away. The damage to my car was just paint damage but they couldnt squeeze me in. I had to make an appointment for the estimate and it was over a week before they had an opening for the estimate. When I arrived for my appointment, the lady at the desk was nice. After filling out my paperwork, she had me pull my car into the shop and the guy that did the estimate was unfriendly and I felt like he wasnt listening to me when I tried explaining to him about the car. Anyway, the estimate took about 10 minutes all together (pictures were taken and then he left, came back with estimate). He was also quite rude when he asked about the insurance and why I didnt just go through the person who hit me vs. my own. Well sir, I pay USAA to do it for me and they do great! Well, the estimate was done beginning of November sometime and the soonest opening they had to fix the paint damage on the car was mid-January! I also felt that their estimate was a bit high.

First off it took them a month to get me in so we had to fix my car myself to make it at least drivable to make it till my appointment. Then they did the estimate and gave me a price on what it would cost to get it fixed (witch already had stuff missing. They only has outside cosmetic damage and not inside damage.) I call my insurance to talk about the estimate and when abra sent it over to them the estimate was 2,000.00 less then what I was given. That is a huge problem! So now after fighting with my insurance company I get to go to a different place and put this off for even longer! This has been nothing but a hassle! I will never go back and I will never recomend them to anyone!!
Stopped in to get an estimate, they were booked. Thats okay. The guy standing at the counter was kinda rude. A simple we are booked wouldve sufficed but he had two smartass responses to my inquiry for an estimate. The lady at the counter was really nice though. I wont support a business that feels being rude is acceptable. I give them a two only because of the lady at the counter.

Ive called multiple times to try to set up a time to get my windshield fixed. Ive left my name and number with the lady that answers the phone but due to the worker that makes the appointment is never there when I call. she notifies me that she will give him my name and number and he will call me back as soon as possible. Its been at least three weeks and I have yet to even receive a call. I finally made an appointment with a different company that answered my question and schedualed me the first time I called.
I showed up to an appointment I had previously made 3 weeks earlier. They told me I didnt come at the right time which I did. Then they rescheduled me for 2 1/2 weeks out. I cancelled that appointment and another vehicle that was going in for repair the same week.
I have been using ABRA for our Commercial and personal vehicles for over 10 years now. I have enjoyed their professionalism and quality work. (for windshields-others have left me with leaking seals or low quality glass with lots of distortions) The finish quality of the auto body shop is awesome.So KUDOs to these fine people

I have only dealt with glass repair/replace. Dwight is the BEST. I find their prices better than the other glass places that I have gotten estimates from and I like working with Dwight. I have never been treated rudely by anyone whenever I have gone in there.
Taking my vehicle in for the thrid time for the same thing because they continue to do poor work. I have used them in the past with no complaints. Not sure what happened but definitely has gone down hill. I am a USAA member and this is one of the referred body shops. To all other USAA members. I reccomend finding another shop. You might get better quality work done. Update, called the number they gave me. All you get is a stupid recording and doesnt transfer you to no one. This place is such a joke. Im thinking of taking my repair to another body shop. They probably know how to get things done right the first time.
I walked in for a quote and they asked me to come back next week. Although the lady at the front desk was very friendly she stated that they dont take walk-ins and she didnt know a body shop in town that does. I then was directed to the collision center... They excepted my vehicle and had me in and out in 15 minutes with a quote...

Apparently if your not interested in giving this shop the entire insurance check they can’t help. Refused to give me an estimate on repairs because I wouldn’t let them soak the whole check up. I have the right to have any shop work on my vehicle so if I want one place to repair one thing and another to install something else that is my choice. Greedy people here.
