Well organized, some great back stock for old issues and the space of shop was great. Didn’t feel cramped or rushed while looking through bins as I sat on their floor and found my Harley Q missing issues😂

A great little shop. New comics every week, back issues, even manga. Owners are chill and knowledgeable. A life saver after my local shop closed.

Walked in and was immediately advised from across the store that I needed to have a mask on to be in the store. So instead of offering one, I asked if they were going to offer one. Reluctantly I was handed one with annoyance. So after I put it on and started looking at the shelves, the whiney employee wouldn’t stop staring at me like i was gonna stick up the place. Since all comfortability had been lost, I asked if they had a very broad range of items in stock. He points behind him and says, yeah what you see on the shelf. I said I didn’t bring my glasses, so I was informed of the minimal product they had. To end the story here, what does this place offer?

These people are great. The staff are kind and knowledgeable about comics and a great deal of things. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for anything involving the comic world.

San Bernardino countys best comic book store.

This comic book store was referred to me by a friend. I went there for my first time yesterday for Comic Book day and it was awesome! Love the staff and the store, they have a lot of nice collectibles and comics. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is the real deal. Always hooking it up with store credit if you buy regularly. Loved the store run movie events as well with commemorative pins and t shirts. Hopefully they can do those again one day.

I came to the store for the first time in October, 2020. I was barely getting into comics and I was coming to the end of choosing what I wanted. The Store was closing and I was asked to finish selecting my items and purchase. That, I didn’t mind as I completely get it, but today 11/24/20, I came to the store again and walked in to find a quick grab. The person at the register ask, “Can I help you find something?” I didn’t know anything particular so I said, “no, thank you, I’m just browsing” not knowing their closing time was 6pm. He didn’t notify me the store was about to close. So while I was selecting something he comes up and tells me, “Can I help you find something because we are closing, that’s why I was asking”. He was kind of forward. All that said, it was fine, I selected one issue that was set on the new release shelf and brought my item to the counter. The clerk told me, “I actually can’t sell you this one”. I asked, “why?” He said it was because he was stocking up the shelves for tomorrows releases and He couldn’t sell it to me. He said I could pick it up tomorrow, but I work and get out the same time and if I barely made it this day, I wasn’t sure I could make it tomorrow. So rather than help me find another comic real quick, he just stood their and said, “yea... can’t sell you this” and was just unwilling to offer another item in store. I get closing time. I worked in retail myself, but that was poor poor service. Helping me with another item real quick would have been easy for a new comer, but rather he wanted me out so he could just close. I was going to prob be a big ongoing buyer of theirs, but my experience at this store has been poor.

I went to this shop for the first time a few days ago with my younger sister to pick up a comic that I had been eagerly waiting for. We both went in together to buy one copy each of the comic, the variant cover version of it, and when I reached the cashier I was told I could not buy the two comics because they were the same cover. It was a store policy to not sell the same cover of the same issue within the first week, but I was clearly not buying both for myself. The cashier offered no solution and was a bit too rude about telling me about this policy. There was also two more copies of the same variant cover left. After agreeing to only buy one copy of the comic, I was told that there was going to be an extra charge to use my card for any sells under $10, which wouldnt have been an issue if I could have just bought both copies. Needless to say, while the shop seemed to have a great selection of comics that first visit was too off-putting for me to consider coming back.

I was here once to browse some comics while I awaited a hair appointment across the street. After just 10 or 15 minutes of looking at some of the TPs and single issues, I was approached by one of the staff and rudely told I could not open up the books to read them for as long as I had been. Their explanation was tenuous, stating that by reading the merchandise I would have no reason to buy it afterwards.This was pretty absurd to me, as Ive never gone into a comic book store and had someone approach me this way. Not only is this antithetical to the nature of books and book stores (Ive worked in more than one), its just outright disrespectful.How does this staff member know whether I was going to buy something or not?Why is this policy prejudicially applied?Its too bad I had such a bad experience here. This seems like a nice shop. I cant think of a single reason I was treated the way I was. The few books I handled that day were done so with care, so it certainly couldnt have been how I opened them. Maybe it was the color of my skin or how I was dressed. Ill never know.

First impression was whoa, it doesnt smell like sweaty boys in here lol. The place is pretty huge inside, tons of comics, collectibles and a comic book section for kids! Its a whole wall dedicated to young readers which is pretty sweet. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. They also carry a few manga books and pop toys. As an artist having the blank cover comics was exciting :) will definitely come back for more.

Really cool atmosphere with a good selection of books and items.I took my son in to look around to see if he might be interested in getting into Comics. Staff greeted us Hello and Goodbye, but never attempted to interact with us at all. We browsed the whole store a little lost for 10-15 minutes.

I love this place! Very clean and organized and easy to sift through via writers last name. There are sections with big name writers and then sections for the notsowellknown. Im all about organization and this place, thus far, takes the cake! This store doesnt seem to get much traffic, but I may be mistaken. Then again same goes for Isotope in Hayes valley.

Excellent service!! Employees are helpful I dont judge you if you dont know a lot about comic books. So many different things Im able to order comics from my childhood and get them in ASAP! Also able to find all the Batman comics that I cannot find elsewhere. Highly suggest this store to anybody whos looking for a book!

Been going here for years. Used to be a customer with a pull list. I usually picked up my pull once a month but they got new staff who deleted my pull of about 50 comics. According to them i had not picked up my pull for 2 months when i had in fact picked up my pull 3 weeks prior. I stopped going for around 2 years due to this but my wife and I decided to start going again as of recent. The atmosphere feels different (not in a good way) but its mostly due to covid. In non-covid days the place seemed to always be busy and they seemed to always have some sort of events going on. I still enjoy browsing and picking up a couple of comics here and there.

I went into their store today just to browse a bit. My son and I have been very much isolated in our home. WE dont go out often because he has a disability and cant wear the mask. Well, the clerk came up to us and asked that he wear one. I explained our situation. They were very polite, I was polite. I offered to leave if they were still uncomfortable with him not wearing a mask. They let us stay. We left with two Pops and some Cheetos. I will always shop here.

Your neighborhood comic book store. It is pure nostalgic, wonder, and adventurous. You can find many comics (new, back issues, trades), toys, and other wonderful collections. Been coming here for your years, and its always pleasure to find something new and old. In addition, they host private movie screenings for the most passionate about movies and comics.

Its a great shop for comic books, but I wish if they have yugioh stuff, that they would have a bigger variety.

This store is expansive with walls lined in comics and center displays of collectibles. Staff is welcoming and helpful. I especially love their fan experiences for new movies. On my last visit, I was picking up tee shirts and pictures from the Spiderman: Far From Home experience, a midnight showing that included a raffle, pictures, fan swag, and a chance to hang out with fellow fans.

4 Color Fantasies is a unique comic book store. They have some really awesome and interactive events and they are extremely generous. Their Movie Experiences are the BEST way to get together with fellow fanatics and enjoy the most popular new releases!

Lots of choices. Spent about 40 minutes in there browsing and choosing what to get. Owner and employee was helpful and willing to answer any questions.Some things you could buy a bit cheaper online, but Id rather buy from a local place like this and pay the small difference.They also have an area for gaming which it looks like is scheduled pretty often. Ill have to check it out in a week or two.

I have visited comic book stores all over the inland empire and none compare to the service I get at 4 Color. They always have my pull list ready and decent prices. They often pull things I might like even if I didnt ask. And they host great events like Free Comic Book Day and movie screenings.

Came for Free Comic Book Day (the first Saturday in May each year) and was a very well put together operation. We were able to visit with graphic novel artists and writers, talk one on one about their creations. Some incredible unique panels were available too. Very nice place to visit. Will definitely come back to browse through their wares at a later date.

This is by far and away the best comic book store in the 909. It is huge. Has a huge selection of new and old comics. Has all kinds of related items for sale. The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to engage in the usual comic book fan banter. I have been to stores where the guy was literally Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.This place appeals to comic book collectors of all ages and interests. If you are Google mapping all of the local comic book stores put this one at the top of your list.

4 Color Fantasies is one of the best comic book stores in the Inland Empire with a very large collection of comic books, tabletop games, and collectables. This store is the perfect place to stop by when gift shopping especially for particularly nerdy family members. The owner of this store is such a sweet guy, very active in the community and maintains a really chill and comfortable atmosphere in the store at all times for everyone. Newcomers to the store have no need to be shy.Prices are good and the store is lit.

First time deciding to come here. I should have asked more questions over the phone before visiting because I didnt know there was a free comic book event going on. I am rating this solely based on overall apparent popularity lol. I wasnt gonna wait probably over an hour in line to check it out (line was basically around the corner).I didnt get in this time, but the guy on the phone was nice and helpful, despite being super busy. Theres always next time!

I was like a kid in a candy store. Left with what I wanted and all well under 20$. The service was excellent and for being crowded the one man working was very attentive to the customers and able answer any questions quickly and still able to man the register. Bravo for the amazing customer service.

Ive been coming here for a little over a year and man do they have fantastic customer service! This was the first comic book shop Ive ever gone to. I was very intimidated because I was not up to date with what comics were available, but once I talked to the staff, it all went away. I became a Geek Club member (which offers discounts) and continue coming to this place often! One of if not the best comic book shops in the I.E. Again, customer service is fantastic here! Great selection of items too!

I spent a few weeks searching for a comic book store after a 20 year hiatus from comics, and I have certainly missed a lot of happenings in many of my favorites. I went to a store in Monrovia, Brea, and any that I happened to stumble upon. I had seen the website for 4 Color and just was lazy about going there. But, I made the choice one day to head over and check it out, I was looking for statues and such. Wow. I am very happy I did.The selection of statues is what drew me to swing by and the comics helped me stay.One of the best comic stores around and I went to a lot of them. The staff is knowledgeable and honest. The selection of comic is great and the selection of statues and figures cannot be found anywhere else nearby.Store is very welcoming. Service is great. Their pull list option is great. The store has a real nice feel to it. Highly recommend.

I have recently decided to start collecting in physical form the books that I have been following digitally. I am new to the comic book collecting scene and Chris was a HUGE help! He and Nat turned me on to some new books that I am really enjoying. They created a very welcoming and warm environment. I will absolutely be back, I even set up a pull list for the first couple books I was already reading, which I am already going to add to. Bottom line...VISIT THIS STORE!

Neat comic store! We came in when a Pokemon game (I think) was going on and it seemed fun and well organised with lots of enthusiastic players. The store was super clean and had a great selection of comic books and related pop culture collectibles. The staff was very nice, and even though they didnt have exactly what we were looking for (Magic the Gathering stuff) my friend and I bought two booster packs each and they were super friendly and helpful the whole transaction. If I could give 0 stars in this review, I would. We have been religious customers of this comic store for a few years and are also part of its Geek Club. In addition to my husband spending a minimum of $25-30 in there weekly, he has spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars there over the years. I am absolutely mortified by the lack of not only customer service provided by the owner, but the lack of customer respect. A promo ran around the holidays for every $50 spent, a $10 coupon was issued for use in January. My husband spent over $100 so was issued 2 of these promo coupons. He went into the store today, as he does every Wednesday, and during checkout submitted these promo coupons. He was told only one per customer was allowed. Since I was in the car, he summoned me into the store so he could use one of these earned coupons and I could use the other. What happened after this is completely mortifying. There was a line of customers and the owner proceeded to speak very disrespectfully to my husband and me. He told us we were abusing these coupons and that they were issued for a customer to use one and then come back another day to use the other. I reminded him that I was a customer also and it would be inconvenient for my husband to have to come back the following day to use the coupon. I told him we were long time customers and would not be returning after this embarrassing treatment of his customers in front of other customers. He was unsympathetic and said, I welcome you not to return. Wow. That is all I have to say. He continued with his disrespect and we left. Immediately after we called Comic Madness in Chino and will now be their customer. As an FYI...comic madness offers the same discounts as the Geek Club but without having to pay the $25 membership fee. The owner has been rude in other occasions and we looked the other way. After today, we will not spend another dime there. If he is willing to treat us long time customers this way, I am certain some of you will have the same experience. My husband spent money to receive these coupons. I hope this $10 is worth the loss of a long time customer.

I walked in with my 4 young boys ages 7-13. Ready to spend my hard earned money. Now I and my boys understand that new comics are to be handled with care. The old man owner was rude to my young ones and made my younger ones feel uncomfortable. A young kid made to feel uncomfortable in a comic book store!?!? The owner must not have kids or CLEARLY cant talk or relate to them. My boys wanted to still to buy some comics. I told them not in this shop and gave them a life lesson on who we give our money to.Ps this is my first and only bad review for an establishment.

Wonderful comic shop with a dash of tabletop gaming thrown in, they had a great selection of new releases and tables to play boardgames or D&D, they do have a seating charge for the tables but its pretty reasonable at $3.

Went in for my first time today, very helpful sales woman there. She was attentive and made sure I didnt leave the store without knowing about all the events that take place there and products they stock. Sorry I didnt purchase today, but I will when I return soon!
