Honest service. Didnt give me the run around like other shops do for my old car (1981 BMW 320i). Takes longer to test but that is Californias fault, not the shop. Gave me 2 hour estimate and called me on time when it was ready.

Just had a smog test done here. Owner is very friendly, helpful and professional. Place is clean. I would highly recommend.

I gave this place one star because they were closed on the weekend, and I did not have my car smogged there. come to find out they do more than just smog... Hes competitor says that he gets the price up by finding problems with your vehicle instead of trying to get it smog efficiently.

This is a convenient necessary shop staffed by courteous technicians. Ive been going here for 20 years. I used to bring pennysaver coupons with me, and though the magazine is no more, if you ask for the pennysaver discount, theyll still honor it wit no coupon. Highly recommended.

Luxury car owners BEWARE! Scheduled a smog check and was quoted $40 but once I brought my car in person (Porsche 911), I was told the price would be $95and it would take an hour! I asked why the price difference and informed by the manager that its because its a special car. Not sure what that means. Theyre all combustible engine vehicles....Decided not to proceed and went across the street to Pro Stop Smog Check and paid $40. And I was out in 20 minutes.

I love this place. These men have looked out for me and Tamale [my car], countless times in the 3 years that I have owned my vehicle. They never make me feel like a damsel in distress when getting services done. They have always been straightforward and honest about costs and services rendered. I have never returned for half done work and dont feel cheated once I have to give up the cash. Never had a complaint! They even loaned me a car once! I needed an o2 sensor replaced and my car gave me hell for it. About 7 minutes before closing on a Friday, I managed to catch the owner keying in the alarm code. He stopped, let me in, diagnosed my car and sent me home with a vehicle for the weekend. My business will forever remain here because they actually care about and build a rapport with their clientele. I have and will continue to refer any and everyone to them. Ask for Mr. Obed. Hes my fave! Tell him the security guard with the Malibu sent you! Hell know its me!

Great little place is rt next to Deer creek car wash. Friendly place really fast service you just sit in your car until hes done.

The staff was extremely friendly. A good majority of my time there, the mechanics were trying to help someone find a part for their discontinued car. They couldnt find it but they definitely went the extra mile, so much so that i am compelled to write a review.

Was very easy to get car smog checked here. I just called and set an appointment and the guy was pretty much on time getting it in. Took about 20 - 30 minutes and was done. The guys here were great. No hassle and good service.

I had my best smog experience with them. The shopped closed but I called the shop and the owner said he would wait for me to come over before closing. Best advice on solutions and was very honest. I would recommend that anybody should go to this smog shop.

Great service, great price and courteous

Had No Check Engine Light on, Guy Plugged In Scanner and did not inform me of any code until after the car failed, had me pay up the full cost, no honest do jot recommend.

I installed a CARB Legal k&N intake on my truck. The CARB sticker fell off. Instead of the technician performing the visual inspection FIRST and notifying me of the problem he made me sit for 30 minutes while he did the entire smog test just to fail me for the visual. Then he charged $66 me and sent me on my way without a certificate. I asked him why he didnt just tell me in the beginning so I could immediately leave and either get another CARB sticker or put the stock intake back on. He just wanted my money. And 75 (with certificate) for a full sized truck seems high high. Thanks for wasting my time and money buddy! One more thing... Im not saying he is racist because he was polite to me, but I saw him charge a Hispanic customer 20 dollars less than me. The guy had no coupons or anything. Coincidence that the technician was Hispanic too? When I asked him why he charged me more than the other guy he started stuttering and didnt have a good reason. I will NEVER return to this place.

Terrible service. (& check my other reviews, this is the first negative one)I have the smog certificate in my hand from them as I’m saying this, so no one thinks this is because of a failed smog.I’ve been here many times before & will never return again. I’ve dealt with Mickey before, such a nice & helpful guy.I came in 2 months ago to smog my Nissan GTR, a younger guy in his 20s took care of me, also very helpful & nice.I went in for my truck (Friday 11am) & a different guy was there. I think only 3 people work there, Mickey who I believe is the owner, A young guy(early 20s), and now this guy who will not be named. (Because if I name him, the owner can ask YELP to remove this review, I’ll do everything to assure this review stays on. Even reposting it if I have to.)This guy was EXTREMELY rude, patronizing, condescending, & literally took care of all the customers that came in AFTER me, before he took care of me. He first told me it would take about 20 mins, I was there for OVER an HOUR AND HALF.Everything was fine when I got there. I sat down and waited with another gentleman who had already been there waiting for his car that was almost done, and the gentleman started a conversation with me. Somewhere in the conversation, the worker over heard us and “Butted” into the conversation with his own negative and aggressive opinion. I respectfully told him we weren’t talking to him, and he literally blew up. Like I kid you not, this guy can’t control himself. I wouldn’t doubt if he will end up with a criminal record one day, if he doesn’t already have one. Like he seems like the type of guy to beat his wife for the food being cold. Terrible, this kinda person should not be in front of a business in a professional environment. Like I literally understand why they lock people up now.Somewhere along the lines, Mickey was brought up. This worker literally said “I don’t care about Mickey, I don’t care what Mickey says.”It got to the point that the only way for me to get him to stop attacking me was by saying “can you just please do your job?”I guess that didn’t set right with him, so he decided to make me wait for EVERYONE ELSE that came in to be done and smogged and leave before he took care of me, when I say everyone else, I mean the people that came in AFTER I did. It’s not like I’m expecting special treatment to be taken care of first, but how rude to take care of other people that came in AFTER me, first.Needless to say, I unfortunately won’t be giving my business here anymore and neither should you.Even if you get that coupon in the mail, trust me you might end up spending more time than the money you’d save. Plus $69 total for a smog is a lot I found out.You go to a restaurant because they have good food. You go to a store because they have nice things. When it comes to a business that all you need is a smog check, and there is no quality required to the work, where the outcome will be the same regardless of what shop you go to, I say take your business else where. Don’t take the risk with this place.Just google “Smog place” on google maps and you’ll find a better shop within walking distance that’s even less expensive. (I can’t say the name of the shop or else yelp could remove this review lol)It’s sad that Mickey, such a nice person, has to lose my business, as well as the gentleman that I was having the conversation with, all because his employee doesn’t know how to act in society and control himself and mind his own business.

Fast and friendly

Took my car here for a smog test. My car passed and they failed me due to a street legal cold air intake and then stated my Motorcraft PCV valve was modified. My car has always passed smog with the same parts. Take your car somewhere else, Otto Garcia is a crook.
