I drive tractor trailer and frequently drive past this location. The other day I had some free time and my 11-year-old son with me so we stopped in. Completely out of my league. I dont think I could afford a mirror on any of those cars. But the staff was very friendly and the place was extremely clean. I finally found some stuff that I actually could afford, some merchandise, and the purchase of that went very smooth. 😁 Happy kid, happy dad.

The experience of buying a used Porsche at McLaren North Jersey totally exceeded my expectations. My salesman Gino was knowledgeable and so easy to work with. The car was immaculate, and although eight years old, was beautifully prepped and looked like it just came out of the factory. I wished to have the car given a pre purchase inspection, and when I couldnt arrange for one, they made arrangement with the local Porsche dealer to do the inspection. The car was given an oil change and filter, a wheel alignment, and new tires to truly bring it up to as new condition. I would be pleased to buy from them in the future.and recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional car buying experience. I give them a five star plus rating.

I was referred to Allen, the sales manager. As soon as I walked in, I was directed to him and met him with absolutely no smile on his face. Our conversation was brief in which he offered no help taking a look at the vehicles. Both me and my friend had an overwhelming feeling He was simply wondering why were there; as if we were pestering him and getting in the middle of his day. We took a look at the cars and he floated around near us a bit taking absolutely no interest in us at all. I asked him only a few questions in which his answers were modest at best. Overall, Allen made me feel very unwelcome and unworthy of being a mclaren customer. I simply will never do business with this particular mclaren dealer ever when I am ready to make my purchase. At no point did Allen smile or even thank me for stopping in to take a look at the cars. I felt very uncomfortable in the dealer and quickly left unhappy, especially because we drove an hour just to get to their dealer. In conclusion, beware of this mclaren dealer and their unwelcoming staff.

Recently purchased a used car (Porsche) from the dealership and they were very accommodating and I feel very trustworthy in making sure the car was brought up to spec with transparency on the process. Really appreciate the help from both John and Joe. Will hopefully be back in the future for something else.

In searching for a McLaren I was sad to see this was the worst dealership I dealt with. Sales side had no patience once I informed them of my trade and offered the lowest, pennies to the dollar, for my trade nationwide. Very disappointed is an understatement. Lacking in Customer Service. They offer a McLaren that has been red flagged from McLaren warranty due to modifications to the vehicle, but is not listed on their vehicle thats for sale. Fair warning and better off going to a higher caliber dealership.Response: Im sorry you were misinformed, but there was no transparency. I had to ask many questions to find your McLeran was red flagged due to modifications. Which, I was still willing to look at, if a 3rd party warranty was available and details of inspection. But, that was not answered or looked into. Upon calling into your dealership, I received the, Didnt you get my response! We recieved your information! And, Were working on it! And, then quickly shot out a number to value my trade. I had many questions pertaining to the vehicle and not my trade at that point. In looking for a McLaren, for track days, this one might have fit the bill. Your Customer Service and patience would have gone a long way. If treating a potential client in that manner to include offering no room to work on getting a client into another dream car, then yes there was transparency. Many other Dealership offered to take my car on consignment or locate another McLeran for me.

Poor customer service. Inquired about an MP4-12C, which would be my first Mclaren purchase. I asked about test driving and I was asked how old I am. Never received follow up either. This isnt my first rodeo with six figure cars, Mclaren Philadelphia didnt treat me like that when I made a purchase from them at 27.

BOUGHT 2019 570s SPYDER with 2300 Miles. Car was 229,000$. 4 Months later I am coming to same dealership since then I added MSO Wing and did PPF on the car... they said it’s $150,000! You want to tell me that this car lost over $70,000 value in 4 months? To rent this car for 4 months is cheaper than to own it and try selling it back. It’s insulting and embarrassing! McLaren you should be embarrassed!

THERE IS AN UPDATE BELOW, BUT READ THE SITUATION BEFORE FOR CONTEXTI am writing this due to frustration in customer service of this specific location, and not towards McLaren themselves, but the shop.To start off, a while ago I wanted a McLaren lanyard and upon doing my research, I found the the merchandise section of this dealership, and on the website, it said they were selling McLaren lanyards, among other things, too. (T-shirts, key chains, hats, etc.) It said call in for price, and so I did and got a response immediately. Knowing the price, I asked how may I purchase one as I do not live in the state of New Jersey, but Indiana. I was given an email to contact, who I was told was the head of the merchandise/accessory department, and I promptly sent an email with questions on what payment I should use, if the lanyard can be shipped to me, and if it was still available. In a week, I did not receive a response, so I called again and the person on the line informed the person I emailed to respond to my email and within 2 days, I finally got a response. Rather than assisting, they only answered one question with the response of, Yes, we do have them in stock. Nothing else. Zip. Zero. Nada. I promptly replied with my previous two questions asking if the lanyard can be shipped to me and what payment method I should use that would be convenient for them. A week later, no response, again... I call in and I get the excuse of, He runs the accessory/merchandise department for multiple dealerships and is probably just busy, give it a bit more time. And so I did. Another week later, nothing happens. At that point I just said forget about it. I ended up ordering a Ferrari lanyard instead...To give the benefit of the doubt, I will say that there are obviously people genuinely trying to purchase these beauties of cars and their time/money is worth more than mine, but to completely ignore a potential customer is pathetic, especially when you run the accessory department and are not even selling cars, but merchandise to supporters...UPDATE:Scott, the owner of the dealership reached out to me and had me explain the full story start to end. I explained the issue and how I just now ended up writing the review due to late night pettiness when I remembered the incident (it happened late July/early August). He was very understanding and sent not only the lanyard, but also a T-shirt for free and said how he does not want that incident to reflect their customer service or values as a McLaren dealership. I am very pleased with how the situation turned out.Thanks!(In the photo, the shirt looks better in person)

Stay away from this dealership! They are a new Mclaren dealer and have no idea about this super car. I personally heard from a few people that there service department is horrible also and if you drop your car off there be prepared to leave it for weeks or even months as they have no idea how to service this car either. Find another dealer, I recommend Mclaren of Philadelphia PA or Mclaren of Long Island NY which is where I bought mine. They are both awesome!Have to love there response! They dont have me in the system, Ive been to this dealer 3 times! Great record keeping!!! Sad excuse for Mclaren dealer!!! As I said, stay far away from this dealership!!!
