I like this place. Most of the times I have positive experience. And they have much bigger choice of crystals than before. The only 4 stars because I am not always finding the crystals I need. Even if they had it before, I couldn’t find it the next time I come… So a little bit complicated for me to “hunt” for a crystal.

My go to place for all my spiritual accessories. Smudges, crystals, teas, etc. Theyre so nice here as well. ALWAYS good energy when I stop in. Everything is so beautiful. And the prices are not too extreme. I love it! 😍💗

I usually don’t post reviews, but as it was my first time going to a metaphysical shop i wanted to share my experience.i decided this was the store with the best reviews that allows minors close to me, as soon as i entered the shop i was greeted by the staff and the layout was very nice and easy to navigate. i’m usually too nervous to ask for assistance, but when the workers overheard my questions they happily answered them. i also have a bit of a religious background so going to a shop like this made me nervous as i have been told negative things about witchcraft, but i became more comfortable about looking around and the research i had done beforehand and the atmosphere was a large part of that, there was such good energy within the store that made being comfortable effortless. there’s a good selection of crystals, books, herbs, candles, incense, and a smaller selection of tarot cards. while checking out the cashiers were very nice and took an interest to the tarot cards i had purchased, showing great customer service and interest. overall the store was very cute and the experience was very good. i will definitely be going there for all my metaphysical needs:)

BEWARE if you’re POC. They will follow you around the store and when you decline the assistance they still stand within close proximity making awkward eye contact . The section for AA/African Spirituality is extremely limited and almost neglected in comparison to the other sections. You can sense the fake willingness to assist when you do have a question compared to how they are with non-POC . I literally asked the same question as someone else and received a different tone and response . They have now hired their token black employee offer years of being open but hey whatever can bring in the buck, right? I would recommend checking out VIBEZ BONTANICA if your POC and looking for more relatable products and welcoming vibe….

I was hesitant to go to another crystal store in Raleigh after my horrific experience at the holy rose.I was so happy that I decided to come to Dancing Moon!! Not only was the staff super friendly and helpful but the assortment and choices of crystals and books were better then i expected. They helped me identify a crystal Ive had for years and never knew what it was. Will definitely be back and will recommend this place over the holy rose any day.

What an amazing gift shop, filled with fascinating gifts: New-age books, incense, soaps, bowls, herbs, art-craft pieces.... Most interesting to me are the wide variety of crystals and minerals for sale, including choice high-end specimens. There is space to sit, relax and take in the good energy. And the background music is great, while staff are helpful and friendly.

I can’t say enough about this establishment. So friendly and accepting of everyone. I brought my 2 daughters in to look and buy some crystals and other things. They asked a bunch of questions and the staff was 100% outstanding with my girls. I will keep coming back and spending my money here. Absolutely awesome people in an absolutely awesome store. Been a longtime customer of this store. Met many of the women who work there and always thought they could be trusted. Come to find out every single one of the workers there are unvaccinated and have been running their store under the guise that they are. So much for sending “love and light” when you quite literally don’t care about anyone other than like minded individuals like yourself. Truly disgusting. I do not recommend this place as a fair place to work for minorities. I applied here and only saw Caucasian faces being offered a job in spite of my strong background in sales, HR and office jobs. As an HR savvy individual I know this is illegal and unfair. As a result, they have also lost a trusted customer due to the fact that I wasnt given a fair chance. If I had the time, I would pursue legal action against this store. Start hiring minorities for your store!!!

The crystals were a little over priced but most of the people who worked there were really helpful and made me feel good and had convos with me smelled so good in here the energy was just calm and relaxed and I liked that I do think some of it was mis labeled but only a couple of things I personally loved what I bought which was “Merlinite” ( I found out it’s mystic merlinite which is indigo gabbro ) and it’s so amazing I love it so far I also got beautiful piece of pakimer diamond

I went here a month ago & the vibes were just really off. I felt really anxious in there immediately and everyone there wasnt helpful and rude. I prefer the holy rose & sage n smudge much better. Theyre helpful and kind and make me feel comfortable.

I recommend this establishment to all of my friends. The staff are friendly and well versed in their inventory. All of them were able to accurately listen to what I needed and helped me quickly. The energy here is very lively and vibrantI would give this place 100 stars if I could.

I absolutely adore this shop. Ive purchased several wonderful crystals and a tarot deck there already and I plan on stocking up more. They have moderate prices depending on your needs but if youre a beginner like myself they have the perfect introduction into it as well. They carry a variety, from books to crystals to candles and herbs, all AMAZING quality. Further all the workers have a really good idea of what youll need if you have any questions. Stop by! In love with this place! I came here on vacation and was recommended this place. I picked up some crystals and candles and left so happy. The energy is calmly and welcoming, so many options in books and loved that they had a section of herbs and oils.

Let me lead with this, dancing moon is an amazing place. I called before I came To see what time the store closed the lady that answered told me the store hours and I was on my way. When I finally got there and walked in the ladies at the front desk Were very welcoming very nice. The reason why I gave this place 3 stars and not 5 is because an employee literally followed me from the time I walked to the back of the store until the time I moved from the section I was in. I was in the section by myself for about 5 minutes until other Customers started coming over to the section. While she was pretending to fix the books I felt very uncomfortable. Like I said other than that, that was my experience it was a very good experience I love this place. Unfortunately I wont be returning unless I need to. Which is very disappointing because the atmosphere was great until that.

First visit: I was being followed through the store and did not feel comfortable. This wasn’t enough to discourage me from coming back.Second visit: I was overcharged for the crystal/stones I picked out. My suggestion is to add your total to prevent this from happening. If I go back I will add my total and will not allow this to happen again. I didn’t say anything because I hadn’t done the math til I got home. The price seemed high. I had taken pictures of everything and the price while shopping and it did not add up.

I love this place but the one time I went for a Reading, it wasn’t all that good, my friend also went for a reading and she said the same thing. I don’t wanna say names but my reader was not friendly and she was not opened to what I was saying. Honestly just wanted to pay her and leave. I was disappointed bc I come here a lot and I always spend a lot of money and I expected something better. Other than that, I do love their products and the people who work here are friendly most of the time.

I was very nervous about coming in here because I am new to wicca in general and did not know many things, but the entire experience I had was amazing. They had a wide variety of things to choose from with information displays on close to all of them. The staff was super kind and one, when noticing I had picked out a book from the beginner wicca section told me about a magick 101 class that would be occurring soon if I had any interest. They have a list of classes and sessions you can book by the door as well which I will definitely be trying out soon. All their books are labeled and divided into sections to make shopping super easy, and they have testers for the vast majority of objects. Prices can range from pretty expensive (from a jobless person’s point of view) to very cheap (tiny candles for only $.35!). Overall I LOVED the shop and will for sure be coming back soon!!

I must say I was disappointed in the experience. My goal was to purchase some new incense for my home. I selected two scents from the Escential Essence line and both were of poor quality. The scent was very faint and burned through in less than 2 minutes. I would not recommend this store.

This was my first visit. Anything you need they have it. The customer service was good and the whole vibe. It will be my go to, although it is 1 hour and 25 minutes away. It is worth it.

There is a reason why people love this place. Its that special. The people are friendly and always willing to help. Sometimes they offer a range of metaphysical classes at an affordable price. There is a wide selection of books, and even a section for discounted books. There are spiritual books of all religions, from paganism, african, and native american cultures, and there are oracle decks, pendulums, and plenty of crystals available. And the essential oils and candles are there too! They also host annual fairs where you can work one-on-one with astrologers, tarot readers, and energy healers. It is a warm, safe, loving place and worth five stars.

Unfortunately, this business turned my business away when I came Im recently with my younger daughter (3 yrs old) stated that no children under 10 were allowed, yet there werent any signs mentioning that or any email communications stating this information.I literally was just running in to grab a quick item and was instantly turned away. The energy felt that day left a bad taste in my mouth and I no longer believe that I will conduct any business with them 😔

Came here for the first time today and two employees were wearing masks over their mouths only without covering their noses, which is not safe or effective mask wearing. There were also two customers in the store with masks pulled down below their chins, which is not effective at all. Felt uncomfortable and unsafe and left after two minutes. I’m confused about why this was allowed because signs on the door (and on the website) say masks are required. Please enforce this policy for employees and customers to help keep everyone safe.

Dancing Moon is a great store! I am glad that I visited. I noticed rather brisk business for the middle of the day at a specialty store, and theres a reason. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable! They also have a lot of zeal for the things they sell. I came for the gems and minerals but enjoyed browsing through the books and tarot cards. I saw a wide selection of candles and incense as well. for those looking for a meeting space, I peeked into their room and it is BIG. Although I live two hours away and cant make it there regularly, it will be a stop any time that I visit Raleigh. And finally, for those concerned about COVID and visiting for the first time, the store is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside (no TARDIS) and the aisles were wide. I never felt crowded at all.

My first experience here will be my LAST! I came with a group of 4 people. All of us had face masks on upon entering the store. However, a woman yelled from behind the corner that we needed a face mask to walk in. We politely disregarded her since each of us, as customers, were wearing a face mask. We continued to shop and noticed that the energy of one of the associates was NOT PLEASANT and unwelcoming. After 15 minutes in the store and after the associate mistook one of the females with me as a male, we decided it was time to checkout. My partner said out loud in front of the associate that she feels negative energy. Immediately, the associates face and voice changed. She suddenly became friendly and wanted to engage in conversation whereas she was passive and uninterested before. Additionally, someone else behind the counter (checking us out at the register) DID NOT have on a mask, not even one on her neck. And she says out loud Oh I dont have my mask on! You guys were so nice about it and then proceeds to put her mask on (after 15 minutes of US being in the store). So Im not sure if I should say we experienced prejudice or if the associates at this store are inexperienced in customer service resulting in this unpleasant experience.

OMG!!! If youre person who goes by the vibe you should love this place ! Everyone is very friendly and very intune ! They have everything you need from the reiki to the basic energy refueling everyday need! Definitely try their tea ! They come fresh. I just left this place with a friend of mine and spent good money at this place, but I will never step foot in this place again. I’ve never seen a staff of people that seemed like they could care less about you being in their store than these folks. It was like pulling teeth to simply get them to engage with me about anything I had questions about. Perfect argument for only shopping online.

To the entitled clown who gave this store a 1 star, complaining that they have a medical condition that exempts them from wearing a mask (BRANDON), you can take your whining elsewhere. This is a private business and are within legal rights to demand mask wearing regardless of if YOU feel you shouldnt have to. Clearly they care about their employees and customers health.Also, I work in EMS and have transported hospice patients ON THEIR DEATH BEDS up to 2 hours while they were wearing masks. You can handle 15 minutes with a mask on, you self involved child.

This is the only metaphysical store that I am aware of in Raleigh - and it definitely does not disappoint. There is a medium sized parking lot in front of the store, so you should not have any trouble with parking unless you come by during rush hour traffic or something.Gratitude to the staff here ~

I always really enjoy visiting Dancing Moon. The quiet, calm atmosphere and the scent of wonderful-smelling incense is so relaxing. You can find all kinds of rare crystals and gems here, as well as tarot decks and interesting books. I absolutely recommend visiting if you are nearby.

When I say I found my home away from home, its I this cozy vibe energizing nest. I get all I need and want all in one stop. The staff are welcoming as well and Ive referred a couple souls there. This is a place I will always visit as long as they continue servicing the area. I need to actually utilize them more but their prices are beyond fair and well worth it for either yourself or for gifting purposes.

There shop has fake citrine and fake carnelian! The citrine is just heated amethyst because it has white spots in the crystal real citrine is even colored. The carnelian is just dyed red agate. Just warning you guys.. ask before you buy

I haven’t been in yet. They had a booth at the Body Mind Spirit Expo. I’m looking forward to going into the store when they’re open. 😉A couple years later: I love this place. But the employees make me feel like I’m not supposed to be there. Except the one young girl with the short hair; she’s super sweet. I’d shop there more if they didn’t make me feel like I shouldn’t be there.

I bought a crystal pendant from this store this past December. I paid atleast $20 for it but I’m pretty sure it was more, regardless it was not sterling silver but a cheap coating. I emailed them about a refund but informed them I had no receipt, and I was told to bring the crystal in for them to see. Upon doing this, I was told (despite them already knowing I had no receipt) that nothing could be done but to LEAVE THE PENDANT AT THE STORE and they’d “get back to me”. After probably two weeks with no phone call or email from them, I emailed them again asking about a solution. The manager offered me a $15 store credit, which I accepted. Just today I went to go spend my store credit because I needed an oil (also, I was never told there was an expiration of any kind on this credit) and showed an employee the emails on my phone proving the credit was legit and she knew it was and I began looking for an item to get. The employee comes to me a minute later saying “my manager says that you can’t use your store credit”, and she got the manager so I could show her the emails about this issue. TO HER FACE I SHOWED HER EMAIL AND MY ACCEPTANCE OF HER CREDIT OFFER, and was met with “why are you doing this? Only $15 but no more!! I’m done with this!! I never gave you a store credit!!” To which I decided to simply leave due to her APPALLING attack and refusal of legit evidence and COWARDLY, HORRIBLE, UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT OF A CUSTOMER BUT ONE OF OVER TWENTY YEARS NO LESS. She said these things to me loud enough for others to hear and because of anger, embarrassment, and them not deserving my nor ANYONE’s service, I left calmly and WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I tried contacting the owner and also tried filing a complaint with the BBB, with no luck. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS TREATMENT, NO EXCUSE FOR THE CURRENT MANAGER TO BE EMPLOYED—-ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!

Love the vibe there and my favorite pizza joint is next door/Capital Creations. Most of their merchandise is over priced except for the incense sticks. I really miss Beths Tea Room.that was in the Dancing Moon. It was all so civilized and had great tea tasting events. I visit much less now that the tea lady has departed. Their music section if they still have it, is excellent for soothing music especially American Indian chants. Also the variety of unusual jewelry is excellent.If you are the open minded type then you will love this shop.
