I will definitely be back! Randomly picked a place nearby to try because I hadn’t found anywhere I loved yet that’s local, but I was blown away! The weekly special was delicious and local. The concept has me wanting to go back next week to see what’s available! And the coffee was delicious and smooth. They make their own syrups so it’s not overwhelmingly sweet and perfectly complements the coffee. Delivery was great and the customer service was delightful. Atmosphere was super relaxed and minimalistic- music was a little too loud for my preference but a minor detail that won’t stop me from going back!

Their blue matcha latte is amazing - hot or iced ✨super cute and clean store right downtown. Their food menu is 👌🏼💥 indoor + outdoor seating and #supportlocal all around

Super cute place that is continuing to grow! They started offering bagels, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The decorations are cool, and it’s a cozy environment.

Iris is an interesting little joint. Its very modern and has a small outdoor area. The gentleman serving was very kind, but just recently started. The coffees made were very good, but the tea we ordered was started late and was a bit lackluster in flavor. We had waited for seven minutes after our coffee and two other orders were processed.Still, not a reason to not visit as the coffee is great and I am sure its just a one off experience.Another concern was that when we arrived they did not have any food available. Apparently they had food when they opened, but the menu hasnt been updated so they stopped bringing it in.I will give this place another go in the future, and I hope the food will be available!

Best atmosphere and will visit again.

Great chai - cinnamon sprinkled on the foam (yum!) - served in a cool white cup. Coffee was good and strong. Only downside was donut was chewy and dense like eating a glazed bagel :( We got the donuts right away and the drinks came not very long after. The employees made us feel welcome. Superb staff! Great environment. Would be a chill place to take your laptop. There is street parking or a nearby parking garage.

Stopped by early in the morning and first, I love the concept. Its a minimalistic, simple, clean coffee shop and the employees here were so friendly and wonderful!Lets start with the butter caramel latte. Delicious! Not overly bitter, not overly sweet. It was a perfectly balanced latte. Look at that little heart on top, the barista did a wonderful job!Then there are the baked goods. The cinnamon pull apart was basically a cinnamon roll in muffin form and it was delicious! The icing drizzled on top was nice and sweet, the perfect amount of cinnamon. Delicious snack! Then there was the rosemary apple crostada with oak crumble. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing was amazing! Nice fresh apple chunks. Perfectly balanced, not small, baked good that will leave you craving more! I took that first bite and fell in love! They did a wonderful job!This is a wonderful little coffee shop that is definitely worth a visit!

I visit here on Friday, around 2 pm, and most menu were almost sold out😢 Latte was bit bitter and donut was not that my type. I hope I can get different one next time. It was crowded when I was in there. Service was very friendly!

My fiancé and I have regularly supported and have referred people here. It is not convenient for us (location wise), nor the best atmosphere (the music can oftentimes be loud) but nonetheless we love supporting small businesses and particularly coffee shops.We will be taking our business elsewhere though now because after entering and sitting for just 20 minutes we were told we could not stay unless we ordered something. This was in addition to being asked to wear a mask when not a single other (non staff) person in the coffee shop was wearing one. I am happy to wear one unless I am not the only one being asked to wear one. Hope this behavior is not common for most people.

Very good coffees but limited options. Cute interior/vibe. Few outdoor seats (3 tables). Very nice baristas. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go there again but would stop by if it was along the way👍🏼

Sadly this place has the potential to be something great. The menu right now is so small. One choice of tea. Coffee choices minimal and some sold out. No food at all. The guy working there was very pleasant and helpful but there is only so much you can do with next to nothing. Will go back in a month that should be long enough to get their menu together and hopefully this place we be buzzing.Dont give up on this place, give it some time to get going 😊

Absolutely wonderful. Owned be genuinely kind folks and a very nice shop. Great espresso comes out everyone. Really fun inventive speciality drinks too. Nitro flash brew and the nitro Thai tea were both great. You also can’t go wrong with Black and white coffee!

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Raleigh. Sam consistently makes one of the best lattes I have ever had! Everyone is super friendly as well, and the space is super nice. Really no complaints here, find myself coming back multiple times a week.

Clean, minimalist aesthetic. Super friendly staff. Place has adequate seating and a place to plug in for electronics. Has potential to offer a higher experience if they keep making improvements to their space: i.e; retail, local artisan art, events.At the time I went there was no visible pricing for the Menù, which is a little :/ but overall cool place to grab a brew.*UPDATE - This place is awesome and new menu board 💯☕ and the Baristas ARE FRIENDLY + top notch ❤️

Iris is a hidden gem of Glenwood South 💗 Their coffee beans come from Black & White Coffee Roasters, which makes any coffee drink delicious... but the house made flavors made at Iris take my drinks to a whole new level! My go-to drink is definitely their rosemary latte.😍Recently, they released some of their food program - it’s all gluten free, healthy and leaves me full (but wanting more, of course!). I typically get the “Iris Avocado” toast with my rosemary latte, but I also love their other offerings ☺️ Iris is a friendly, hip place that is perfect for hanging out (safely) with friends, working or reading a book. Swing by Iris, you won’t regret it!

Had an ice coffee and it was awesome, great staff very welcoming shop, very clean and sleek appearance that invites you in to sit and enjoy your beverage. While I was there many people were working on laptops as well as sitting out with their pets and walking by the busy street.

One of the most overhyped coffee shops in Raleigh, overpriced drinks, baristas are nice, but took way too long to get my coffee.

Nice guy seems like he needs help, waited 35 minutes for my 1 coffee and 1 tea order, the menu is very small not much options, my chai tea was very sweet and coffee was not the best, I wouldn’t come back, they need to step up.

I live in the building and decided to stop in...Im at work, but had to stop to say, DELICIOUS! I just got the Beet Hummus toast with a Chai Latte and it is so darn good I felt compelled to shout this place out! Beets, hummus, ricotta, avocado...The combo is off the charts! Plus, just the wonderful warm welcome and service alone would have gotten me to return, but add absolutely great, fresh, healthy options, and Im planning to be a regular!

Nice guy who works there and their drip coffee is good but its an echo-y place and my experiences are too inconsistent. Seems like theyre still trying to figure out how they will operate

Checked this place out when Offline Raleigh gave away free items to their members. Although they were slammed, service was quick, efficient and done with a smile. Also, my latte and pastry were delicious! Highly recommend.

I hate to stop the 5 star review train here but honestly I was underwhelmed when I went. I had been so excited to try it but after walking there the other day I was left in shock. I ended up only ordering an iced coffee, expecting it to be 2 or 3, max 4$ like most coffee shops, but I ended up being charged 5.30$. I paid, expecting it to maybe be big or mind blowing, but I was handed a small 12 ounce cup with very average iced coffee in it. Definitely overhyped and overpriced.

I had my dog with me and they noticed-they came right to the door and took my order/delivered my coffee without me ever having to come inside. Excellent, very appreciated service and the basil vanilla latte is perfect.

The latte here is worth the splurge. Good place for coffee if youre near Cameron Village or Wade Ave./St. Marys.
