After verifying over the phone a specific boot and size was in stock, drove 3 hrs to purchase them along with a few other hard to find hand tools. Both phone and in store experience was excellent! Hard to find a trade specific store like this anymore.

I ordered a product via the webstore and it was shipped the next day and arrived within the week, out of state. Unfortunately, the item was defective upon receipt. I contacted the store and spoke to a very polite gentleman who was quite accommodating. He shipped me a replacement the same day, which is due to arrive two days later.I have dealt with other companies that wanted photos, videos, etc and then would ship a replacement when they received the original item back. This is certainly not the case with J Harlen! The defective item was by no means the fault of the store, but they accepted full responsibility and did all they could to accommodate me in the least painful way possible.

Cost of shipping is ridiculous, the time it takes to receive a shipped item is ridiculous. I used to order from them all the time but now I can get most of the items on Amazon.

Very polite and patient staff, great products and convenient if you live in Raleigh. That being said Ive had a couple items take a longer than expected to arrive at their own store, there are no price tags in the store, and they are only open during the week days when most of us are at work

Realized that had a brick and mortar store in Raleigh while on storm. Got to try on boots in person and found a great pair. Excellent prices.

They offer “express shipping” and my order takes three weeks to get here. The place is a joke.

There were some minor shipping issues, which were resolved in the most professional manner possible. Please feel totally comfortable placing an order with this firm.

Be careful if your overseas and placing an order through this website. You might not get it til a month later.
