Called to schedule appointment and discuss car problems over the phone. Representative was very helpful, straightforward, and got my appointment scheduled at the date/time I needed service. On the day of, both attendants (manager and asst. manager I think) were very helpful, polite, and kept communication with me throughout the time they had my car. Gave me an initial assessment, called to confirm the work needed and the cost, and then had my car ready to be picked up at the time promised. I really enjoyed the service and my car has been running perfectly! Would highly recommend. Also, the waiting area was very clean and comfortable.

Matt and his team took care of my Chevy Malibu. Matt cares about each customers and wants the best for their car. From what I saw there was no up sell and tells you how it is. They provide an estimate time of completion and were on time. Would recommended Midas on Capital Blvd any day!

I took my car to Midas the end of August cause my brakes were squeaking. I was told I needed front/rear brakes & rotors. They performed the work and less than a month later brakes still squeaking. Take my car back 10/2 since I was told it has a lifetime warranty. Guy behind the desk is rude & unprofessional. Tells me since I dont have an appt I have to wait an hour. They check my car then tell me its the wheel bearing! Im out $900 plus. I would not take my car back if it was the last shop standing in the state of North Carolina! I suggest you avoid this place.

The People at this Midas were fair, patient and professional. They really care about taking care of the customer. They replaced my ac module perfectly and even helped with financing the repair. They are awesoms.

Ah freaking mazing!!! First off I requested an appointment last night and they were able to successfully accommodate me this afternoon. The hospitality left me speechless, they were considerate upbeat and friendly. I got there waited 20 mins and they had me in and out in a jiffy. Mind you I had my 2yr old daughter with me and you know how restless toddlers can be. The employees were very interactive with us and caring about my needs. They treated me better than a customer but more like family. This place was sparkling clean and it’s such a grand entrance with the flat screens and updated floors. I was comfortable and they offer free WiFi !! I highly recommend coming here you can’t pay for this first class treatment !!

If you want to waste your money. Come to this place. Not recommended. There are better shops, better prices out there. Again, I would not recommend anyone here. Please Do your Research. It’s sad the way these people make money. I’m never coming back here. I called in for a flex pipe repair, they charged me for an inspection which I never requested. That is highly unprofessional to get charged to be told you are not going to get a service you requested. It is unfair. They said they were going to charge me $189 but I ended getting my problem fixed for $75. My car runs perfect. If you do not seem to know about cars you will get robbed. just warning everyone. Call different places for different quotes before you come to these people. They try to make money where it is not. Again, do your Research. It does not cost $350 to do brakes, there are shops that do it for $120 with warranties. I learned my lesson the hard way. They forced me to do an exhaust inspection I never requested and they charged me for it. It is sad and unfair to tell me they cannot fix my flex price and charge me for it.

This location was wonderful. I was late for my original appointment and they let me change it to a later time, got me in and out in no time. However the sign says they sanitize the car afterwards... I saw or smelled no evidence of such. And are car vacuums not complimentary anymore?

My wife and I recently traveled to Raleigh with our family for a four day trip and realized we had a brake issue that made our Lincoln MKC car un-drivable. We contacted the local Lincoln dealerships, and both indicated they were booked up for a week and would be unable to help.Midas was also booked up for several days, however Ray (the Manager) worked with us to get our car back on the road within about five hours. In the meantime, he also provided us a courtesy car for our trip.Ray and his team were in constant communication with us through the whole process. After another shop among other things said that I needed new pads, and it seemed a bit strange. I took the car here for a second opinion. It turned out the other place misdiagnosed the issue, and what really needed replacing was the master cylinder, and brake booster. This made sense, and as they seemed professional, and more importantly honest/competent, I had the work done. I had no real issues, or complaints, and so far the repair seems like quality work.I took off one star because apparently the brake booster ordered was defective, and they needed to get a new one. It was not really their fault, and it was not an issue for me, but my car was not ready until the next day. Still a very positive experience

I came in to have a vehicle I recently purchased (used) for a diagnostic test (I know I did this backwards ought to have tested car first before purchase- we live, we learn). Ron runs a great shop here. Honest, flexible (got me in last minute) and builds Business by doing the right thing by his customers. He’s also very engaging and friendly. This was my first experience at the store, and I’m very impressed. I witnessed the interaction with a customer prior to checking me in and listened as Ron honestly explained what was needed, recommended and what could wait.After doing my Oil and filter change (only thing I came in for) at a discount due to a coupon, his mechanic and he only had one recommendation for me. It was not an urgent matter in need so he understood when I declined the work. Now for perspective, I have a 1997 Avalon and while it has extremely low mileage on it for the model year, it is still a 1997 and mostly original. Time can take a toll. I fully expected to get a LIST of items needed and recommended, but to only have 1 legit recommendation for additional work...I was impressed.This shows me Ron and his crew are honest and have integrity. They rely on this business principle to keep customers coming back. Not try to rip customers off and and stuff the register every time. This place worked with me. I called 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday in much need of getting my brakes done. Without hesitation Ron told me to get there ASAP so he can get them done..I did just that and needed more than just brake pads but also new rotors. Went in with a coupon for a free inspection. Got the inspection. They came back and told me I had an oil leak that was of dire concern. Worried I took it to my dealer to have it looked at. Not only was it not leaking oil. It was clean as was possible. The staff at midas are blatant liars. Even on a free inspection they are trying to rob you. Be careful using their services

I had an alarming noise coming from my back rear tire and called a family member who used a specific mechanic to service his company vehicles. The guy came out, test drove my vehicle, and told me that I needed a bearing, then told me that it didnt, then told me I did. Long story short, my sister told me that she had just had a great experience with this shop. She went to her dealership and they quoted her $800 plus dollars for tie rods. She took her car to Midas for a second opinion, and Dan (the Mgr.) examined her car, and told her that there was nothing wrong with her vehicle. I took my car there, and low and behold, NOTHING WRONG!!! Dan was very professional, engaging, and honest. He lives by the motto Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. As he had his guys look over my car, he offered me coffee and conversation (wonderful family man:). He double checked my vehicle and told me I was good to go. Being a single woman with limited car care knowledge (I know how to add gas and check my oil:), Im at the mercy of dishonest mechanics that look at me as a potential buck. I appreciated his honesty and hospitality, and will definitely be coming back to him for any problems or maintenance. He is a great representative for Midas!

I went for an oil change I had an appointment for and asked that they check my brakes if they had time.They did, I needed brakes & rotors (I expected this news), asked if I needed another appointment to have them replaced, was helped that day and very quickly.Will be frequenting here for my car needs.Definitely recommend them.Friendly staff to boot.

I called Midas, on Capital, this past Saturday for last minute brake service (new rotors and pads) on my 2013 Ford F-150 Raptor. They were the only place that fit me in on late notice. They did an great job in less time than I was expecting! Also, the lifetime warranty on pads is great!

Great service!! Brought my Honda to them for an oil change. Friendly smiles, great conversation with the tech guy about us both being from New York. I even got a little Geography lesson about upstate New York that I never knew.

Went to this Midas when I was in NC from Florida, the service was excellent and quick. Would definitely recommend if I was living there but if anyone I know breaks down in Raleigh at least there’s somewhere I’d tell them to go.

I went in to have my brakes replaced and the team at Midas got my car in right away, replaced my brakes/rotors in the promised time frame and I was on my way to the next chore of the day. Excellent customer service and Cam was very helpful throughout the whole process!! I highly recommend them if you want good prices and fast service.

My brakes were grinding badly and my tires were so worn in the front that I was sliding in the rain. I was worried about finding time to get everything fixed in a one-car household. I was able to drop the car off on a Friday evening and have everything done by Saturday. If I’d been able to pick the car up Saturday morning, it was ready. The repairs were reasonably priced, and I really appreciated the timely service.

First off the folks I talked with were pretty friendly. I came in to have my oil changed a week ago. Took about 45 minutes to an hour. But this is including the complimentary tire rotation and visual check (I’m assuming for issues that may occur or will occur if not addressed in a timely matter). Didn’t really have any issues with this part.The real issue I have is that I go to pop my hood up (for the first time since then) and find that the clip for my hood prop rod was broken. So now my hood won’t close properly. I basically have to force it closed now.Yes I realize this a “small” issue to some. I understand mistakes are made from time to time. But just thinking how no one said anything about it and just tried to hide what happened, irritates me a bit (I guess it’s not important to leave things how they were found originally). This just makes me question a little bit if everything was done properly and if the service recommendations are actual potential issues that may come up in the future.

Made an appointment online and also called for a quote ahead of time. Got to my appointment on time and was in and out in an hour. It cost me exactly the quote plus a little extra for the other couple things that needed to be fixed. I received a list of services that they could do that day that needed to be done to my vehicle, but I simply didnt have the money at the time. Im glad I went to get my belt fixed, drove to Wisconsin and had no problems. Good as new! I also received a few text messages from the manager to make sure Im doing well after my car was worked on and the 900 mile trip I was taking. Very personalized service! This was one of the best experiences I have ever had for car repair! Craig was thorough in explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. For a repair that was more in-depth than expected, they really got the job done rather quickly! Dennis is an expert mechanic. I am beyond proud of the work they did on my car. Although I cant remember the name of the other two mechanics in the bay, they are without a doubt worth mentioning. Very professional and very thorough. They also have great coffee and doughnuts to enjoy while you wait. Craig even offered to get us something to eat while we waited for the repair to be completed! They went above and beyond! The main review is that they are inexperienced and broke parts and continued to screw me out of money as well as charged way too much!I highly recommend you read this. It may be wordy but everything is to the pointNow if you would like to read what I had done and make your own judgement if it was fair, read on. I brought in a 96 f350 7.3 dually in because it had bogging down issues dealing with fuel. I didnt have the tools at the time since Im from Oklahoma. They had replaced the fuel tanks and over charged tanks to 600 a piece when they can be bought at 100 easily. After they broke the driver side door handle and broke a outer line to fuel the tank up they fixed a oil leak changed both filters, changed the oil plus the tanks was all at 2400 with tax which is unbelievable. (They didnt fix the handle and denied that they broke it) after all this they showed me that I had old tanks and that there was a lot of gunk and rust in the bottoms. No biggie. I wanted to provide parts before they started, which any other midas would have done no issue with but for some reason they gave me some shtick about corporate wont allow them to. After the truck was done and I got it back they told me that it ran like a dream! I got no more than five miles down the road and the truck did the same thing except this time it died completely. They didnt purge the lines or even take a look at them and some left over gunk came through my lines and ruined my fuel pump and charged me to replace it. I had to have it towed back costing 250 and they wouldnt foot the bill since it was ABSOLUTELY their fault that the truck had died. Because remember the truck ran before I came in. They cleaned out my fuel bowl and replaced the fuel pump over charging that and it costed me another 750! They tried to tell me that they were doing me service! This place is trash and will screw you every chance they get! I would very seriously not recommend coming here. An over priced fuel maintenance job that cost 3400.

Got my truck repaired more quickly than expected. Store is clean and staff is professional. I drove across town to take my vehicle here instead of closer options based on my previous experiences with other Midas locations. I made the right choice. This was my first visit here and I will definitely be coming back!!

I received really good advice, that will help me be proactive about the services that are needed to keep my car running. They also offer treats while you’re waiting, donuts! I was a loyal customer for about 2 years. I loved it, they were nice and didnt take advantage of their customers. And all of a sudden I come in for an oil change and inspection (the inspection didnt pass due to a tail light no big deal I would have fixed it). Regardless, they quoted me $60 for a synthetic blend oil change. Across the street they do a synthetic blend oil change and a tire rotation for $39.99. I think its ridiculous that as a loyal customer they gave me an overpriced quote. I had to bargain for $47 after he looked back in my account to verify I had previously been charged a cheaper price. In addition, there was no tire rotation. If this situation hadnt already upset me, when I got my car back I had to dispose of the floor cover for them. It seems simple but Im of the firm belief that you return things how you got them. Having to pick up after a mechanic in my car is unprofessional. Im just overall disappointed with how they treat long term customers and I hope this review helps others. Needless to say, I will be finding elsewhere to take my car for services.

My experience was nothing short than amazing. I scheduled an appointment the day before to get my rear brakes replaced. I came in at my scheduled appointment time and was greeted upon arrival. I was offered coffee and donuts as I wait on my vehicle. They checked me in and started on my vehicle right away. The staff was amiable, and very informative about my car when asked questions. My overall experience was excellent, and I plan on returning.

I came in to have my brakes replaced and I was able to get in and out within the time frame I was given at the price I was quoted with no pressure to buy the extras. To top it off, they have set up BOGOs on all of their oil changes and are the cheapest town! Highly recommend this Midas and I will be back for sure!!

We are from Toronto Canada and while visiting in Raliegh we heard a noise in the car. On a Saturday, We went in to have it checked out. They told us before they did anything what the charges would be. They drove the car around the block three times. They tightened the wheels up and checked a number of things. and told us we should get it checked out at a dealer as soon as possible. We did not want to stay over for another two nights be we were on our way to Florida. They sent a message a few days later to check that we were ok. We appreciated the care and their service. Thanks guys.

On Saturday June 20th, I took my 2012 GMC Acadia to the location in Raleigh, NC on Capital Blvd. That morning I had to jump start the vehicle due to the accessories being left on. However I wanted to ensure all was okay with the electrical system since the check engine light was on. I also had been having some issues with the A/C. The face vents wouldn’t blow any air. I brought my vehicle in after speaking with Ron about what I needed addressed. I also had the oil change and tire rotation completed since it was due for that as well. The oil change and tire rotation was completed for no charge since I was redeeming the buy one get one free voucher. I however had to pay for one additional quart of oil.Ron gave me an estimate for an HVAC and Engine diagnostic service. After completing the oil change, tire rotation, and both diagnostics I was told the vehicle was ready to be picked up. However Ron could not give me a specific conclusion as to what was going on with the HVAC. He said the engine light being on showed an ECM code but was unsure if that was correct. He told me it could need a re-flash which he was unable to do since he doesn’t have the tool. Or he said it could need to have the module replaced. He referred me to a dealership and said to let him know what they recommended.He also said they added Free-on to the HVAC system but was unsure if there was a leak. With the HVAC diagnostic being $149.99 and the Engine diagnostic $119.99, I was frustrated to say the least to have no solution, yet being charged a lot of money. Even worse is that I was referred to a dealership and told to call back to let Ron know what was needed to repair the HVAC.Then when I asked Ron what could be done to work out a better price for the diagnostics since he could give no viable solution he was very hesitant to adjust pricing. Then he proceeded to visit the Midas website where he found a $30 off coupon when $300 or more was spent. Why was this not offered to me in the beginning since this offer was valid to all customers.I’m frustrated to have paid $285.96 for no solutions or viable recommendations. I walked away feeling scammed since I paid $285.96 and received nothing in return.

These people are great and super trustworthy. The front guy Chris was super sweet and respectful. They took notes on what I requested and needed and made sure everything was done and then some! Ill definitely be back to these guys whenever Im back in town. And they were quick and officiant! I have a high top van and they changed my oil and did my alignment no problems and kept me informed the entire time. Good job yall!
