I WILL NOT deny that they do a good job. HOWEVER the high ratings they currently have they DO NOT deserve. Ive been a loyal customer since bpc first opened its doors in 2011. They were the most honest and best mechanics around. In 2017/18 is when staff changes started and it went downhill from there. Honesty went out the window, and prices increased. The new staff is benefiting and taking advantage of the loyal 5+ year customers and high ratings from the previous employees reputations. Prices are now the same as it would be if you go to the dealership (which is why we look for alternatives in the first place) and honesty, ha. Again they are excellent in repairs, so if youre close to the shop go. But if youre closer to a dealership, theres no price difference.

Ive been her a few times but Im just reminded about how professional they are. I was ready to have my front and rear brake pads replaced but the tech pointed out the fronts where still good and to hold off ........little things like that go along way. The owner was kind enough to spend some time with me even though he was busy with customer and talk about the platform for the car I own and do and dont sin his expansive experience and showed me a few shop cars (one of which is internet famous). They are a bit of a trek bit its worth it. Cant say enough positive things.

Excellent facility with some of the best people around. Had a full engine replacement after an unexpected issue. They were the best and did impeccable work. I am a very particular person since this is a race car and the staff were amazing to work with. I recommend this shop with no reservations, if you need anything they can do it.

Jason was excellent! I drove 2 hrs to get a 3 day engine repair and preventive maintenance completed at BPC! Jason provided great communication with pictures emailed and text during the process. Dan the owner was engaged and both him and Jason were as professional as you can get. I will be back for all of my BMW needs. All AAAA++++ here!

Had Rod Bearings done for preventative maintenance since my car needed the Oil Pan Gasket replaced. They worked with me and helped me schedule a loaner car through them in advance (for free). They also had no problem installing all four Brakes and Rotors that I had purchased online. Took them about 2 days to have everything completed. They even brought out the mechanic to answer my detailed questions about the state of the rod bearings and other various Car Guy questions I had. My 335i n55 hasnt ran this smooth since I bought it. This is probably the 5-6th time Ive brought my car to BPC for various things. Wont hesitate to do it in the future.

Jason, the service advisor, is phenomenal. I have taken my 750Li to other shops that claim to be RELIABLE and boasts BMW expertise only to find that is not the case. I was happy to find Bimmer Performance Center! Jason is very upfront, delivers on timely repairs, is super polite and professional. He was knowledgeable about what my vehicle needed, what the costs would be, and there were no hidden charges that arose and no subpar work done. Jason could have easily charged me for services not needed but he did not! This shop is HONEST, SKILLED in BMWs, TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL, and AFFORDABLE! Dont make the mistake of entrusting your BMW elsewhere - go to Bimmer Performance Center. **I was not paid to provide this review. Just good old EXCELLENT repeat experiences.

I have a 2013 528i, took my car in due to possible motor mount, they did a complete diagnostic on my car and they let me know everything that need to be done to my car. Keyona worked with me, and the warrenty company. I am very, very pleased with the work that was done, my car runs like it is brand new. Everyone in the office, and shop was very nice. Had some serious and rare issues with my Alpina transmission. They did an outstanding job getting it sorted. They exceeded my expectations given what was going on. I had scheduled for new tires to be installed on my BMW and I had just had the wheel s repainted the day before not thinking that the paint had not cured when I pulled into the bay the manager caught the fact that the wheels were newly painted and that taking the tires off would destroy the paint job since the paint needed about 2 weeks to cure I can assure you most service centers would not have caught this issue. A very good first impression from this BMW service center. Everyone was very polite and professional.

My 328 had issues and I was ready sell it. Fund this dot and gave them a chance and in only 3 days my car was running like new. Bimmer performance is now my spot for my car

These guys do fantastic work. If you have an older model BMW like I do and live in the triangle, I wouldn’t take your car anywhere else. A lot of shops will tell you everything on your car needs to be replaced when you’re only concerned about one or two things. These guys will address your specific concerns and since they have more experience than most shops with older model BMWs, they will know exactly what is causing the issues you’re concerned about. I can’t say enough good things about them. Highly recommended.

Went here because of a recommendation from a friend. My car was vibrating when shifting and they came back and said they would need to further diagnose it the next week. They said it could be 3 or 4 issues and that they would fix them one by one to see what fixes it. Should have known from there to see the red flag, but I made an appointment the following week since I would have to leave it. Upon leaving, I found a black plastic piece, but I wasnt sure what it belonged to. In hindsight, I should have went back in before I left. The next day, it turns out it was my seatbelt buckle that came loose. I called and they denied it at first, but then said the service manager rode it and said it was already like that. They offered for me to bring it back so they can look at it, but what exactly were they going to look at? It was broken, should have been fixed. But that, in combination with the bogus diagnosis, I would rather take care of it myself. I went to another shop for a second opinion on my original issue, and after a transmission fluid change, my car runs fine. Even though Bimmer is in their name, general shops know more about BMWs than they do.

Awesome BMW shop. with great people that really know what theyre talking about. Took my 13 335XI in for a PPI inspection prior to my extended warranty running out and they found a bunch of small issues that I can now have resolved prior to loosing my warranty. All work was done for a fair price and I will definitely be using them for any future work.

I just moved out here from NJ and was looking for a place to take my BMWs. I dont like going to any old mechanic with my cars. Ive had too many issues in the past. Either way I stopped by today just for a preliminary oil change. I felt totally comfortable here. I have a project car and it was treated just as any other BMW there. I love that they are a BMW exclusive shop. The techs there seem to love their job. I was like a kid in a candy shop. I am totally confident that I have found a spot that can help me finish up the projects that I have going on. I look forward to being a return customer for as long as Im out in this area. I was in HEAVEN there!

Outstanding service is a gross understatement! The folks at BPC really saved the day when it came to the DME tune required to run my supercharged 1er with headers! Service was second to none! I will definitely be doing business with them again in the near future. Thanks again folks!

Very few get my “ super awesome service” Great business you can trust.

I was a loyal customer who paid them thousands and thousands of dollars over the last two years. BPC went from hero to zero very fast. They quoted me over $3000 in parts and labor due to some error lights that were showing on dash. I was skeptical so I bought my own dedicated BMW scanner. Good move. It immediately paid for itself. Turns out it actually only needed one part to be replaced, which I did myself easily (thanks YouTube!). Total cost $182. All of the other codes were taken care of with a clearing of the codes and a re-scan. A very simple procedure that they didn’t bother with, even though they charged me $100 to do it. Also, any parts you purchase from them are marked up at least 200% from what you pay for the same brand new genuine BMW part online. Now I wonder how many of those thousands of dollars I’ve already given them were for absolutely nothing. An intelligent consumer is their worst nightmare. Be careful.UPDATE: In response to Bimmer Performance Center’s reply to my review, Mr. Connor should have read my review more carefully and checked his A/R dept. before doubling-down on his dishonesty and fabricating a conversation that never happened, thereby self-incriminating himself in the process. In my review above, one paying attention will clearly read the following, “A very simple procedure that they didn’t bother with, even though they charged me $100 to do it.”That $100 (exactly $96.47...I will attach photo of transaction detail) is the diagnostic fee for which you charged me that you now admit, by your own words in your reply, was not done!OOPS!!!So, the facts I outlined in my review and reiterate here remain the same, and now have been verified by the owner himself. The third sentence in his reply is a complete fabrication and never took place. Regarding part prices, numbers don’t misrepresent themselves, people do, as I have clearly shown here. In light of your admission to having not performed a service you charged for, I have initiated a dispute on this charge and a copy of this exchange will accompany it to Discover. Also, that nagging feeling that I may have been ripped off in the past still remains but I can do nothing about it at this point. Once again I say, an educated consumer is their worst enemy.

Crystal and the team did a great job at inspecting and fixing every bit of the car. Communication is quick and easy. Pricing is transparent. Service on the car was pristine. I really appreciated that they looked at everything an provided recommendations. Also, they provided me with a loaner for the weekend!

First time used BPC. We were very pleased with the experience. The service was installation of a non BMW sourced CarPlay MMI adapter. Turned out that BPC is an authorized installation partner of this equipment. That was very reassuring. Our point of contact was Josh. He was very responsive to my online inquiry and phone messages. Even though the installation took minimally a tad longer then originally estimated, Josh was very transparent throughout AND he offered to drive car to our residence due to the later hour. WOW. The installation itself was very clean and inconspicuous. Josh also delivered a detailed orientation about the equipment and responded promptly to our post install questions. BPC throughly sanitized the interior and washed the car beautifully. Overall we were very impressed with BPC and if the need arises will use their services again. BTW, they had a 2 year warranty on labor!

I drove three hours to allow Bimmer Performance to replace my BMW E93 M3’s rod bearings. From the initial phone call, to me driving my car off their lot was amazing. I would definitely use them again.

Ive had my 2011 X5 diesel back in operation now for over 2 months (and 3K miles) - could not be more pleased with the performance! My experience with Thomas and this group was exceptional, and their workmanship has been excellent. I drive long distances and the diesel has been a great option for me until the emissions system started to fail. My options at the dealer were very limited and Bimmer Performance Center offered an upgrade solution to my problem that worked great! Ive already been referring friends and very thankful I found these folks. My X5 has 208K miles and is running exceptionally well - Thanks Guys!!!

***Dont trust them for a thorough pre-purchase inspection***I was looking to purchase a 15 x5 35d in Raleigh, NC and I was currently in CT. I wanted to have a pre purchase inspection done before I flew down to pick it up, so I called them and they said they could absolutely go over the car and make sure everything was good to go before I flew down.I get a call from them after they completed the inspection and everything was good, but they arent a body shop so they didnt look over any of the paint or cosmetics, only the mechanical parts. And i said why wasnt I told this when I originally called to setup the inspection? He said whoever i talked to must have forgot to mention that.Needless to say I wasnt happy about that since I just paid them a decent amount of money compared to the other 5 pre purchase inspections Ive previously had done on other cars that included great detail on every aspect of the car.I made the decision I would fly down and buy the car anyways. Well the day I got there it was thunder storming and they were about to close so I wasnt really able to thoroughly inspect the paint. I finally got the car home and the next day and I go out to look at it thoroughly, and theres several deep scratches and bubbling clear coat on the hood along with alot of rock chips. If i had this information before i bought the car, I could have either negotiated for them to fix it or to at least lower the price more to compensate for the paint correction it needs.The whole point of a pre inspection is to thoroughly go over the entire car so you can negotiate accordingly for its condition. And for them to not tell me they werent going to inspect the cosmetics until after the fact was a huge slap in the face.2 stars only because they gave me an accurate mechanical description.

I recently had my car serviced here...Beyond professional service at an amazing price. Had my car towed overnight... was promptly called first thing in the morning. Was quoted an amazing price for repair and an unbelievably fast completion of work..along with a list of other things to keep my eye on in the future. They were literally half the price of what the dealerships quoted me. Ive had BMWs for 15 years and by far they are the best shop Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I wont bring my cars to anyplace else.

Josh, Randell & Tom have been wonderful in keeping my E46 M3 running like a top. They recently fixed a power steering issue that had been bugging me for some time and another shop could not diagnose. They also saved a friend of mine thousands of dollars in suspension repairs on his X5 by finding out that the issue was not the airbags but rather software related. Thanks again!!!!

I worked with Randall on service for my E30. He was very knowledgeable and quick to respond when I had questions. The team was great about suggesting other items that were due to be replaced when they came across them, but I did not feel pressured to perform any unnecessary service. All work was complete in a professional and timely manner. I would definitely work with them again.

Have taken my e46 here twice for repairs and both times I have been beyond satisfied with their service. They do great work and I always leave paying much less than I had expected. Very honest and quick service, and I always feel like Im being kept in the loop with updates throughout the day. This has definitely become my go-to shop for any work I need done on my BMW.

My cars are always returned to me working better than when I brought them in, no matter how complex the work. They also do excellent race/track preparation, as my track car proves. As others note, theyre expensive. But I keep coming back because Im guaranteed to get what I paid for.

Got a 4 wheel alignment done, cost me less than I was expecting and was cheaper than going to the dealership. Guys were friendly, it was done pretty quickly, and it was a perfect job, car drove leagues better afterwards. Definitely the place to go for any Bimmer work you need done.

I have used BPC multiple times at this point. They have covered everything from minor to major service and did an incredible job installing and setting up my coilovers. My last couple of visits, my service adviser has been Crystal. She is awesome, and always calls with regular updates and very thorough options. I would not hesitate to recommending BPC for any kind of work on your BMW.

My first time using this company to do some software updating and coding on my BMW i3. They were very friendly and professional. When I left their shop I noticed that one of the codes wasnt exactly the way I wanted it so I emailed them to let them know. They told they would send somebody to my office to pick it up, leave me a loaner and then return my car. They did just that and had my car back to me by 11:00 AM. I will continue to use them for all of my service work on my i3 and my x3.

Dan and his team have been working on my X5 and 650i for years. Top notch service, excellent understanding of the nuances of BMWs and always available to answer any questions.Dan usually comes out and sits in the car with me to show off all the hidden features buried deep inside the 500 page user manuals which is greatly appreciated. I took my 2014 x5 50i to have pads and rotors put on, the rear rotors an pads i bought myself directly from a BMW dealer i was told by the service guy at Bimmer that my front rotors an pads needed replacing as well so I gave them the go so few months later I to took it back to Bimmer an i told that rear rotors was bad so I said ok let me take it back to the BMW dealer that I bought them from an so I did an the dealer honour the warranty an replaced the rear rotors and pads but the BMW dealer informed me that the front rotors that was install by Bummer was not original EOM parts they were a lesser brand an the vibration was coming from the front rotors again I took it back to Bimmer they looked at it again an told me no its not your front rotors but your rear or you may have a bad caliaper so I took it to another BMW dealer an was informed again that the front rotors are not BMW original parts so after talking an talking to Bimmer an demanding that they correct this they finally agreed an that they want happy customers an that they would make it right at no cost i ask them to put back BMW original parts and they did an at my surprise i was given a bill for over $200 Bimmer should have done this from the very beginning i spent a lot of time back an forth before it was finally corrected i want do business with Bimmer

If you own a BMW thats more than a car to you and you are an enthusiast or maybe like to modify your car this is the place to go! They are friendly, competent and treat your car like you would. My pristine 335i E93 needed new injectors and other maintenance, while I was there I had them check out my Dinan S2 tune on their dyno and they could clearly point out that there was more to be had with their tune. Now I have my maintenance items taken care of and a better tune in the car. I am glad I have finally found a shop in the Triangle for maintenance, repairs and tuning that I can 100% trust. Absolutely excellent!

This place helped me out so much when my Rear axle carrier panel needed to be replaced. They did a great job and for a good price too. These guys know their Bmws and are extremely helpful.

Brought my 2011 335d to BPC all the way from Greenville, SC to have Stage 2+ setup performed. Couldn’t be happier with the customer service or work performed. Randall was constantly in touch with me on the status of the car. When I dropped it off, someone was there even on a day they were closed and pulled it in to the shop so it wasn’t left out all weekend. The stage 2+ tune is amazing. Feels like a different car. Mustangs and Camaro’s are getting smoked left and right. Bob is the best in the business at what he does. Highly recommend!!!!! There is no alternative.

Had these guys reinforce the subframe of my E46 M3 and upgrade/replace a bunch of bushings during the process. Im always nervous about having my car serviced because I dont trust many shops to work on my car, especially given the size and expertise required of the job I needed done. They were incredibly accommodating of what I wanted done and clearly are BMW experts. They provided updates on progress (including pictures) and had great recommendations. The quality of work exceeded my (high) expectations.See you guys next time for VANOS/valve work!

I purchased a tune for my car on their website, it said I would receive a specific device BPC iFlash Cable that would upload the tune to my car along with other features such as reading and resetting fault codes.They shipped the first package and the day it arrived I got an email saying that the tool was not programmed correctly, and they would send another one. Received the new one several days later and what I received was a “myGenius” tool which does not have those extra capabilities.No one from BPC told me that I was going to get a different tool, or make sure that I was ok with the change to the order. To make matters worse when I uploaded the tune to my car it does not even work right, and the car barley drives and there are several new fault codes that were not there before.I place the order on 4/25 and finally received all the equipment and uploaded the disappointment of a tune on 5/7. Staff is slow to respond to emails and generally unconcerned about the experience of their customers. I suggested solutions to rectify the situation and got no reply. In my experience BPC is not upfront and had a lot of excuses when things went wrong, at least they agreed to refund my purchase.

Sent in my ecm for the stage 2+ tune on my 2011 335d. Everything done myself at home. Mods include dpf delete, egr delete, swirl flap delete, xhp stage 3 trans flash, harmonic balancer upgrade. From start to finish everything was very easy, truly helpful and knowledgeable about the cars. Made my whole experience amazing as well as some helpful info from the tuners over the phone. Im highly satisfied with the outcome I love the car way more, runs great and loves the tune. I cant wait for future mods and will definitely be using/recommending BPC to anyone that wants it done right.

Their products are second to none and same goes for the staff. These guys actually care about you and me (the customers) and want you to be happy. I purchased a tune from them and before I even had a chance to flash it to my vehicle, someone had already reached out via e mail to see how my experience was and offer support in case I ran into any issues. I was truly blown away by the attention I was paid as a customer and the willingness BPC showed in taking on any problem that I encountered which by the way, was none. Even the guys booking your appointment know what they are talking about which is very helpful getting you in and out of their fast. I wont take my bimmer anywhere else now.

Great service. The rear view camera took less time than I expected to be installed on my 2015 328iX Sport Wagon and it works just as described. I highly recommend Bimmer Performance Center and would gladly use their services again.

I took my E46 M3 to Bimmer Performance to have it tuned and to solve a few idle bog problems. Despite several unseen road blocks and problems with my cars existing computer Bimmer Performance made it right and went the extra mile to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Bimmer Performance has a knowledgeable staff that is miles ahead of other shops I have taken my car to in Raleigh. Also their coding capabilities far accede any other independant shop I have visited.

I have had a bad experience with BPC. Long story short, when talking with them about purchasing a stage II+ tune for my 335d, I asked if any tweaking could be done to the tune if I wasnt happy with anything - because it is expensive. I was assured that I would be happy with the tune. Well, when I received it, the car ran too smoky for my liking. It went weeks of them telling me my car was the cause of the smoking and very bad fuel economy. I even took their recommendation of taking my car to a dealer for some tests which proved there were no issues with my car. BPC offered no post sale support for a tune that cost me $1,000. I even requested a refund and that my DDE gets returned to stock, and all they could do is tell me there was something wrong with my car. I was always civil when talking with them. At this point they stopped returning my emails. I do not recommend BPC for any of their products, I am very dissatisfied with their post sale customer service and support - especially for the high cost of their tune, which Im still wondering the true source of. I have completely re-tuned my DDE meaning I completely lost $1,000. Matt
