Purchased the DV8 hardtop for my Jeep Wrangler about 6 months ago. It leaked badly on the drivers side. I took it back to the shop twice and each time they tightened it and the top continued to leak. Last time I took it in the manager and 2 associates looked at it and the top was clearly not level and flush on that side. Associate promised me they would be ordering a new top and would call me. Months went by and I did hear anything back. I called a couple times to ask about the status. The associates I spoke to did not know what I was talking about and could not tell me anything. Each time the manager was out and they took my information down to have the manager call me. I never received a phone call from the manager and a hardtop that cost me about $2800 still leaks. Will never do business here again.

The team at 4 wheel parts in Raleigh was excellent. They went above and beyond to help me find the correct rims and tires for our sons truck. They spent a lot of time making sure they fit and we’re just right for the truck. Aaron and Ben also took extra time to make for sure all the pieces and parts were road worthy as well. One of the worst customer experience I had ever had. I had them to inspect my new truck. They discovered a couple of bolts were a little loose okay did you tighten them up for me. No!! why not ? no response but its all in the report. So if I drive out of here is it going to fall apart? nothing. Not hey you have these issues this is how we can fix it or we tighten up your bolts but lets schedule something to take care of things. When I arrive to pick up my truck I stood there for 10 min as 3 guys just talked in the office and finally acted like I was bothering them. Give my name and truck they handed me my keys and a paper and work away. Very unprofessional

I can not believe the unprofessionalism of this place. Ive been waiting over a month to get a replacement Amp research power step. Ive been getting conflicting information about the warranty replacement. Ive reached out and called 5 times over the last month and everyone has promised to call me back. Ive not received one phone call in return 😕 When I ask for a manager, I get What do you need!! I can help you?! Im still sitting here with the Power step stuck in the down position. Im going to take my business to a company that respects me, my time, and my money.

I placed an order on 6/30 for in-store pickup at the Raleigh, NC store. In placing the order, my understanding was that my item was in stock and would be available for store pickup Friday 7/2. When I did not hear from the store on Friday, I called and spoke to the manager. He said the item was not in stock but that he could drop ship it to me and I would receive it around Friday 7/9.When I logged into my 4wheelparts.com account a week later to check my status, the status says “order cancelled.” The order was cancelled without my permission or knowledge, and I have not received any refund.I attempted to call the local store yesterday and today, and it rings continuously with no answer. Also cant get through to the national line. I own two off-road vehicles, and 4WP has lost my business for good.AVOID!

I had to meet my daughter to rent her a car before she left for Florida on Christmas Eve day. She had an early appointment at Enterprise on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. I rarely travel to that side of town. As I was almost there I saw a Four Wheel Parts - Off Road Truck & Jeep 4x4 Parts location on the other side of Glenwood. I figured I’d drop in and get my mom a last minute Christmas present. She had just purchased a new 2021 Toyota 4Runner 4wd TRD Off Road two days earlier. I was driving my 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS that I’d owned 25 years and had recently fully restored. As I entered Four Wheel Parts there was an identical 4Runner TRD Off Road, besides the color, parked out front. It still had Leith’s window stickers on it. I walked to the parts sales counter and asked the fat dark haired guy for some suggestions for a gift. I had just dropped $1000 at Enterprise Rental cars because I’d upgraded my daughter to an AWD suv because it was raining. I was wearing a duster that cost more than this fat guy’s last commission check. I didn’t look like some peasant. I speak rather clear English, so that shouldn’t have been an issue. This fat guy hemmed and hawed and came from behind his little desktop computer out into the showroom. He pointed out a super cheap Smittybilt tow strap. I picked it up and turned it over. It was labeled “Made in Taiwan”. Pass. I enquired about the rock sliders that were on display and fat boy had already tucked back behind the parts counter. He didn’t realize how much I was ready and willing to spend. He NEVER even asked what my budget was. I overheard a customer mentioning Old Man Emu and found that we both owned heavily modified ISUZU Rodeos. Then the guy was telling me about his upcoming trip to his hometown of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I was born and raised in Central Florida and that was the beach we locals visited. This customer even made a phone call to a friend about an upgrade his buddy had made to his Tacoma. The customer put in more effort than fat boy. Needless to say, parts sales requires some level of customer service. The fat guy must have left his at home that day.

Rude staff, dont care about your business, and FORGET coming here if youre a woman. My husband went in, inquired about some tires, and the guy said uhh i dont know and my husband said well....can we find out?The guy refused to give my husband the price of a set of tires we were interested in (regardless of price, honestly), unless he took my husbands personal information...What IS this?? How are they still in business? Ew.

Went to several parts stores in the area and Thomas at 4x4 was the only person that took the time out to educate me and advise me on what I needed to do to finish up a project truck I have been working on. Not to mention it was Saturday and the place was slammed... This guy could have sold me something that I was happy with but he told me he didnt want me to.just settle...he then gave me some advise on how to finish it up.. The customer service I received Saturday just doesnt exist anymore. Give that man a raise!!!!!! Even if I didnt buy that day you made a Customer 4 life

Theyre very overpriced and dont really know what theyre doing. The guy that was helping me pick out tires/rims was about to start ordering tires that wouldnt even fit on my Jeep before I stopped him and asked him to double check. That and the fact that their arent prices on anything make this place seem pretty sketchy. Ill be staying away.

We ordered shocks from this location on June 25th 2021. The salesmen told us it would be here on July 1st 2021. We told him okay we would get them on the 2nd because we have to drive over 1hr and 45min to get to the store. Got there the day after they were supposed to be in. Only 2 of the 4 were there. Then they couldnt even locate them. Then told us they order directly from factory and would be in on Monday the 5th. Low and behold still no shocks. Trucks didnt run today he said. This place is so unorganized. Employees in the dark. Getting a refund.

I have inquired for a purchase made online for pick up with the Raleigh store on multiple occasions. On one occasion they had me on hold for well over an hour. The only reason I was assisted at that point was because an associate accidentally picked up my line thinking I was another customer, apologized for the confusion and then placed me back on hold. I have never had to deal with a store so unprofessional and unreliable in my entire life. It has been over a month since my order was placed and now over 10 business days of my financial institution since I’ve requested a refund from the store manager. Now I find myself in a bind because I have deployed from the country and yet to have my money refunded. I will never reconsider purchasing from this company again after this experience nor will I ever recommend these stores to any family or friends.

Even under pressure to get parts in and complete the install, 4 Wheel Parts came through in time for my trip. Courteous staff and gave me updates as work was being done.

It was my first time going there and the salesman spoke very kindly and advised me that they could assist with my issue. Ill be going back to them in a few days. I thank them a lot. I told him that I had gotten the run around from another company. He assured me that wouldnt happen there

August 24th, 2020, Ford F150 4x4 Reg Cab. 4wheelparts installed a 2 1/4 front leveling kit by Ready Lift. Another job well done. Perfect ride, perfect alignment, fit a set of 18x9s with 285/60 18 Mudders with room to spare. No rubbing, no vibration, steering wheel 12 oclock, rear a tick above the front wheel well just like I asked. Brandon did the logistics and my appointment was kept and parts were there on time. They are very busy so if you want the work be patient so they can assist everyone. thanks again guys

I ordered a six in pro comp lift kit from them months ago. After calling every week trying to get an eta out of them everyone told me they would call me back which never happened. After getting placed on hold for sometimes over an hour. So I did their job for them. Reached out to pro comp and they were switching vendors for coilovers so no kit until 8mo later. Pro comp got back to me with an answer in less than 24hrs where I waited weeks for an update from 4wp (which never happened) Now I want a refund. $3500 kit and they cant enter my card number right. I waited 10 business days since that was the max time I was told. No money back still. I called placed on hold for an hr again to give them a new card number when they should have called and told me they entered the card wrong weeks ago. Hands down worst experience ive ever had trying to buy something. So glad to be finally credited back and done dealing with them.

I ordered a set of 4 shocks on a sat. I was told theyll be in next wed. -thu. the would call then they came in. Called Fri. after sitting on hold for 45min. I finally hung up and called again, they said yeah they came in on Thu. Dove almost 2hrs to pick them up got home and realized I had a mismatched set, production change not there fault. I called back up on Sat. to get another one they apologized and said yeah well order another on it will be in wed.-thu. again no call. I called on Thu. and was told they didnt know what one I wanted, instead of calling and asking me they waited for me to call and ask about it. We got it straightened out and they ordered another one while I was on the phone. I was told again wed.-thu. I called thu. amd was told yeah it came in two days ago. So, apparently they can receive called but can not call out. They did varify my phone number everytime I called and when I made the original purchase. They have a lot of nice stuff priced right bit if you order anything DO NOT expect a call when it comes in.

I have never given a really negative review but others need warned.We went to store 211 on June 15, 2020. They did not have item we wanted in store and were more than happy to order one. Inventory was checked and we were told 3 - 4 weeks. We checked at 4 weeks when did not receive and was told the two they showed in stock in there warehouse were given to someone else. New orders were coming from Austraila, unsure of arrival date. Two weeks later (7/31) we called and it was still in Australia so we canceled and was told a refund would go to our VISA. Called 8/4 and was again told refund would be credited. 8/17 went to store, stood in line and was again told a refund would come. Sent email to home office 8/26...no answer. Sat on hold 1 hr 3 minutes to home office customer service. Was told she would contact the store and have them call me that it was cone. 28 hours later...no call.They were happy to charge $1453.43 to my VISA, cancel the order and NOT refund the money. BEWARE!

I had my 2015 tacoma lifted and they did an incredible job. They went above and beyond from helping me price everything out and working with me to put together the reliable and sturdy setup by helping me select what parts i need vs want, and instead of just answering my questions they went ahead and explained why and how everything worked instead of a typical it will work or wont work answer. The best part is that for Toyota of Apex at least, there certified mechanics to be able to lift my truck and maintain my warranty which was a big thing for me. Also the detail they went in from installing the kit by marking each bolt on the top and right next to it, so by just looking at it I can make sure they dont need re-torqued helps out a lot for future maintenance.

Great customer service, Unfortunately the cargo lid that we ordered took over three hours to install really should’ve took no more than an hour but we had it scheduled for 930 we didn’t leave until 1230 you can tell they’re short staffed

These guys earned a customer for life today! I was on 40 in my Rubicon this morning when I experienced the dreaded death wobble. I called these guys for help because I was an hour from home and didnt feel safe driving back without checking what had caused it. Despite being slammed they told me to come by and they would check it to make sure it was safe for me to get home. When I got to the shop they took the time to check over everything, got under my rig with me to show me the exact mechanics of what was going on, and then tightened up everything they could to get me home safely. Super courteous and they know their Jeeps, no doubt. Definitely going back to them for anything my Jeep needs!

Very helpful, gave me the odds n the ends of his opinion for some rims n tires i want put on he also said what I should do or decide to go with if I decide to switch it some with my tires so I felt like he cared Enough to tell me what was gonna work and what wasnt gonna work.

My son took his new truck in and was treated very poorly. They did not care to help him and were very rude to to him. I will never go to 4 wheel again and I highly discourage anyone else from going. Nothing but then wanting to steal your money. Prices are very over the top!!

I Highly recommend! I found a jeep at a dealership and wanted a honest opinion on the lift that was installed on it. I basically wanted to make sure everything was safe for my wife and son as it’s going to be my wife’s daily driver. These guys are awesome. They gave me a full scope on the lift and what needed to be done to insure the safety of my family. There was an important nut that was loose that could eventually cause the steering to stop working. I brought this info back to the dealership and they addressed the issue. A big thank you to Brandon and to the service manager (didn’t catch his name) for giving the Jeep a good look over. You’ve got a life long customer now due to the excellent customer service. We ended up buying the jeep and we’re excited to be apart of the jeep family now. See you guys soon!

I had questions before the installation of my shock replacements, (Those were installed perfectly and without additional questions of me, no issues at all) and they have answered every question that I have had since then. Thanks to Michael Jacques and his recommendation to Bilstein 5100 which I had installed on my 4 Gen 4runner setting it to 1.75 above stock height which looks great. Was told by Troy that it woyld take a max of 5 hours to put a level kit on my truck. I scheduled a week ahead of time, and Troy told me he was wide open and I would be first in on the morning of my appointment. Knowing the parts wetw only $100 I agreed to the $500 estimate thinking maybe it,wpuld be best to have the pros do the work. However, on the day of my appointment, I dropped my truck at 10 am as agreed. By 1 pm it still was not in the shop. I returned at 3.30 pm to be told they needed another 1.5 hours = 7 hours total time at the shop. When I questioned Troy he had nothing but excuses - my guys need a lunch break, I cant control what happens in the shop, We tell all our clients to drop their vehicles at 10 am and on and on. I dont make the schedule - Troy does, so shoot me straight! Then I find out he gets paid on commission, so he is gonna say whatever he needs to in order to make the sale. I will NEVER go back to 4wp and will make sure everyone I know avoids them as well!

These guys have great customer service. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had a tonneau cover that broke a couple of times on me. They helped with the warranty process and repair. They always followed up when they said that they would and did exactly what they promised. Always seemed happy to help even though always busy when you visit. Impressed!

When my receipt came it had $1,499.99 of extra stuff. Not parts, nor labor. When I asked about it there were no answers... Be very careful if you shop here and make sure you check every line item on your quotes or receipts. Integrity seems to be lacking within this shop.

I just had parts installed and this place was super busy. The folks price matched a few items for me and any issues with my ticket were quickly resolved Some days the store is busier that others, especially with the holiday break. Seems Management forgot to hire some extra bodies to answer phones and field customers, but patience is a trait we could all stand to learn a bit more about.

Is anyone going to actually answer phone. Already called like 8xs, bad customer service.

The guys at 4wheelparts Raleigh have always been great. I’ve always been impressed with Mike at the front desk and his customer service. These guys will always be my go to for any off-road supplies and parts.

This is my first experience with the store but will never refer anyone to go here. I literally waited for 30 minutes and watched another customer walk in in front of me and get served while still no one even acknowledged that I was there. Was looking to spend approximately $2500 with you guys today but thanks to the bad customer service experience I will not spend my money here. What does it take for someone to at least acknowledge a customer ?!!!

Extremely knowledgeable on every service they do and they will give the most honest and accurate advice as to what is best for your vehicle and what will save you the most money. This is the only place I trust with my truck. I brought it there after a separate company completely messed it up and the guys at 4WP were super helpful and had my truck up and running again in no time -- Ive had no issues since then. By far the best service I have ever experienced. You can always trust them to be completely honest with you without worrying about being cheated out of your money - which is hard to come by! As a novice to the sport of 4 wheeling, these guys have treated me awesome! Every time I come in looking for gear or to ask a question, they give me great advice without making me feel stupid for being a beginner. Jimmy, Troy and the whole crew are stand up guys that truly care about the sport and it shows in how they interact with each customer.

These guys are some and super knowledgable. I am just starting my off-road equipment collection and if I have any questions, I feel extremely comfortable asking here. Prices are comparable with Amazon and other websites.Not a huge showroom but I believe they can order pretty much anything thats showcased on their website.

Recently had almost $5,000 in work done on a truck - finished product was good, but there were some hiccups. But I just went back for simple work on another vehicle - mounting tires and balance on a lifted Jeep. Scheduled appointment 3 weeks ago; called and confirmed appointment yesterday; took the day off from work and showed up for my appointment. They told me I had to reschedule because their salesmen overbooked. No effort to accommodate and got the feeling they preferred that I just cancel bc it would make their day easier. Work they do is good but customer service attention to detail is poor. But there is not enough competition in the area to force them to stay on their toes.

These guys went above and beyond to accommodate me for a set of wheels and tires mounted and balanced! Special thanks to Derrick and Nick for going the extra mile to make me smile! 😆 Youll definitely be getting my business again!👍👍

Had a cab mount chop done on my 3rd gen Tacoma after installing my lift and 33’s in February, at first(before the front lift springs settled) it didn’t rub, but after a few months and the front suspension settling, it started rubbing again. I called them a few days ago and had the job re-done at no extra cost. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with the customer service.

Pretty large store with a good assortment of products. Nice line of Warn winches and SmittyBilt winches. Vast array of lighting options. *Deffinitely check out the Rigid Ind R46, that thing is BRIGHT and great distance.Shop size is really big, they have a good crew.One downside is a lot of their showroom products are for Jeeps NOT trucks.

6 inch lift on my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500

This place has the worst customer service after about 30 min waiting to buy simple off shelf items and only one customer in line with three guys behind the counter, I finally gave up and just left... the one customer in front of me was being charged double what he expected and then no one could tell him why...nor could one of the three simply ring my items or a knowledge that they would be with me momentarily or anything... I never write reviews... but this place was horrible!

I was in the store on Monday and spoke with who I believe was the manager, I needed a replacement rear window for my TJ, they do not have individual windows but he referred me to the dealer. Dealer wanted ~$300. I searched online and found a replacement top, cheaper through their competitor.On Friday I went back, they price matched on the spot, had what I needed in stock, and were very polite and professional. I will be giving all of my off road business to 4 wheel parts.Highly recommend.

Said online they had gear oil for my truck and alot in stock. Went to the store and they had none. But the store had some cool hard ware... Ill give em another shot but the online inventory system is wrong.

Not gonna go on a rant here, but want this place to be accountable for the work they do. 4500$ in icon parts, installed in the worse possible way. Didn’t adjust front coil overs out of the box and had the front of my truck riding 1 1/2” high in the front. Then aligned truck off of improper installation of the coil overs. All components on truck were at extreme angles to include cv axels, tie rods, and control arms. This is worse possible thing on lifted applications. Front tires left the shop with 2 degree negative camber on both sides. Cut brackets that never should have been cut. Don’t get me wrong these are nice guys, and I got all my labor cost returned. However, that doesn’t excuse this lack of know how and this level of work coming out of a shop that “specializes” in 4 wheel drives. Save yourself a lot of heart ache and go see Jay at Big tire outfitters in Mebane, NC. Fixed everything they messed up! Knows his s***

I highly recommend this place because Mike and the mechanics took their time and made sure the problem with my boyfriends Chevrolet Silverado was fixed completely. Had to have an alignment and ended up having to change the tires around and the problem was gone.

For those that have had work done here you know that the techs are extremely knowledgable and know what theyre doing. Their work is solid, detailed, and its done right the first time. You can find a cheaper place to have your jeep worked on but remember, you get what you pay for.And what you get at this location is Quality.

Good place for work. They generally dont try to oversell or sell what you dont need. They also stand behind their work.
