My home building process with Clayton Homes of Pueblo began in July 2020 and I was able to move in April 2021. Things really began moving in the actual building process in October 2020 after my loan was approved. I wanted to give it a few months of actually living in the home before writing my review. There are a few things I want to convey to anyone reading this review: this was in the midst of COVID-19 and all of the economic and social chaos of that time; anyone who has worked in construction or with contractors knows how complex and challenging that process is; the effect of Colorado weather (always a factor); and dealing with city/county/state agencies and inspections. I worked with Gene Perkins as my Clayton sales rep. I have high praise for Gene – anytime I had questions, he was on it. He was ahead of the game on any concerns with the building process. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and a pleasure to work with. The home I ended up having placed on the property is beautiful and very functional, and I got a great deal for the total cost of completion. There were hiccups but again Gene was either already on it or had solutions to the issues. Clayton’s follow-up was always top notch. Getting minor issues fixed after the house was in place was painless. Kunau Drilling LLC installed the well, Ed Glaser Propane installed the propane, I believe Kunau also did the septic install but I’m not certain of that, and Mountain View Electric provided electricity. Clayton also worked with several subcontractors to get the foundation, electrical connections, plumbing, etc completed. I am beyond satisfied with my experience with Clayton Homes of Pueblo and would absolutely use them again. Remember, this process is very complicated and involves so many moving parts and different people/companies that it is prone to a variety of delays, miscommunications, and issues. That comes with the territory. What you want is a company that understands and can successfully navigate all of that complexity. That is what I found with the team at Clayton Homes. I highly recommend Clayton Homes of Pueblo (especially Gene Perkins as he was who I worked with) and hope that if you do select them as your home builder, you find a similar or better experience.

We visited Clayton and we were impressed from the start. Vincent Hall did a great job explaining the process so we had an understanding. Our property was located at higher altitudes which made finding the right home challenging due to building requirements and navigating a manufactured home in the mountains. But Vincent showed us many different scenarios and went above and beyond on helping us. We ultimately chose to buy a home that was already built due to the current market, but wouldve loved to own a home from Clayton. Caleb was also very professional and knowledgeable of Teller County when he did our site visit.

I came into Clayton Homes after month after month of looking at homes in Colorado Springs/Pueblo area. After flat giving up on finding a brick and mortar home I decided to check out Modular Homes. I knew from experience that they hold up in Hurricanes and not just mild blows. So glad I did Vincent is honest true to his word and now I call him Friend. I’m now in a modular they set up they took care of everything Clayton homes Well the whole team had a hand in my home. I’m a Service Connected Diabled Vet Vince I think could tell I needed extra help in getting things done He knows VA requirements he’s two steps ahead of you in getting it done. I’m happy I’m safe my home is perfect and I have Clayton Homes Matt, Vince Gene everyone thank you I’m Home at last

The manufactured homes were nice, but they were extremely expensive. After buying one you would have to pay to move it, then pay to have the utility connected and if you dont want to be in a trailer park you need to buy land. In the long run it would be the same price if not cheaper to have a house built on your land.

My wife and I have been dealing with Clayton Homes in Pueblo, CO for several months now. Our Salesman, Vincent Hall has been exemplary in our dealings with him. Vincent is a no pressure salesman who is extremely knowledgeable about the product and process of purchasing a manufactured / modular home. Vincent has walked us through prosses, step by step. We are currently under contract for the property for which we will placing our new home. Vincent is is an honest and honorable man with a great amount of integrity. I would recommend Vincent Hall and Clayton homes without hesitation.

On 3-23-21 we had an appointment to look at homes at noon. The salesman at first was not wanting to do an estimate of setting up the home until much further in the buying process, but agreed to give us a ballpark figure if we decided which home. It was important in our decision as to what we look at for property. In the middle of our appointment the salesman went to lunch did not say anything to us did not make arrangements with another salesman to continue with us if he wasnt back. We didnt drive two hours to be ignored.

Tami Nicasio’s knowledge and follow through on the purchase of my ClaytonHome was awesome. She seemed to know just what to do whether it waspaperwork or plumbing, or anything in between! I appreciate the time andeffort that Tami spent in keeping me informed as to whether we would meetthe target delivery date, the status of construction as it moved forwardand the follow through after it was delivered. Any questions I hadconcerning anything that arose, she was always available or put me intouch with someone who could help resolve any questions that arose. Tamiwent above and beyond in making sure everything went as smoothly aspossible. She was always on top of everything. Any concerns I had, sheimmediately took care of and made sure everything went smoothly. Thankyou so much, Tami!!!

From the moment we made the choice to go to Clayton Homes, we were introduced to Tami Nicasio who, through sheer professional aptitude and knowledge, lead my family and I to the perfect home. At every step of the process she was free to answer any questions and was very understanding about our case. She made sure that we understood the paperwork and all time lines for Claytons process for getting our home. Run! These people are horrible! They sold me a house knowing it had a bad well. Almost killed my kids and myself. They told me it was my fault for buying it after they assured me it was a good well. Ruined my credit. Never tried to help.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! My 20 year old son purchased a “home” from them. There were so many imperfections upon arrival and he was assured they would be fixed. The linoleum is bubbled in several places, ceiling looks terrible and after 6 months the stove stopped working. He was told on several occasions that it would be repaired. Here he is, a year later(out of warranty) and nothing has been repaired! A repair crew was sent out, they repaired trim that was falling off and slapped some spackle on the ceiling. The repair lady said she would take the stove and talk to management about it, she also said she would come back to fix the floor. She did neither! To date, no one has returned his call or returned to complete the repairs! Horrible experience, don’t buy from them!!!

We met with Gene yesterday. He spent so much time with us showing us different models and options available. He reviewed the process with us and made us really feel like this is something we can do! He was very knowledgeable and listened to our concerns. We actually drove away feeling like this was a great option and getting excited of what could be. Thanks so much, Gene! You were so awesome to work with. We could tell you love your job and that made this experience not seem so scary and overwhelming. We are now walking our property to figure out where to put our dream home! :)

Albert Chavez was here bright an early and started fixing my skirting while still being conscious of the noise his saw made.He did a wonderful job replacing all of what was broken, was very efficient and was done by the afternoon.They left no mess in my yard and even did a last walk around to ensure they did not leave anything out of place.Thank You Albert for doing such a wonderful job!!!!

About a month or two ago, my family headed down to Clayton Homes looking for a miracle, and the next step in our lives. COVID knocked us off our feet and it was our chance at finding a home after losing ours. We didnt expect to be listened to and loved as well as we did when we met Tami Nicasio. This beautiful, smart, and caring woman helped us by finding us a place to go, without us asking, so my children and I could thrive and have our lives back, while asking nothing in return. We still fully intend to go through Clayton Homes once we get on the right track, but not to only add a home to our property, but because in the form of an Angel, they gave back so much to us as well. I will never be able to pay back what Tami has done for us, and if I could scream it from the rooftops how much she saved my life, I would. Gene, Matt, and David out of the Pueblo location have been amazing to deal with. We have never had a question not answered or issues not followed up on. In the field, David, has always been early and know matter what the weather conditions were, he has always stayed till the job was through. I have high expectations and have been told that I am hard to please, that being said, I am very pleased with the team at clayton.

We made an appointement to speak with a sales person and the entire interaction had an air of youre a waste of time The salesman said anything i have is poor quality he never even showed us what would be in our price range . All in all i myself felt unwelcome and as if i were an intrusion.

Two years ago, my wife and I bought a 16 x 76 mobile home from Michelle Smith - Clayton Homes of Pueblo. Michelle Smith was fantastic! She was warm, friendly, and provided great information to help with our home selection. Michelle allowed us to take our time during the viewing of models, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable throughout our entire visit. The only negative of our visit came when we first arrived. We were greeted by Tim who eagerly shook my husbands hand, then when he found out that we were there to see Michelle (as she was who assisted my husband on his first visit and we wanted to honor her time and effort), he was immediately done with us and then proceeded to make snarky negative comments about both of his female colleagues - Michelle and Holly. His behavior is in no way a reflection on the service we received from Michelle, as she was wonderful from the instant she greeted us, but if had been our initial visit and Tims behavior was our first exposure to the Clayton Home staff, we would have walked out of the door without a moments hesitation.

WARNING, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY, LOWER CLASS, AND UNINFORMED!! DO NOT BUY FROM CLAYTON HOMES!!! We bought our home from them not too long ago and have spent almost as much money fixing this dump as we initially spent on the home itself! They do not honor their warranty and our house arrived at our location DAMAGED AND WITH MISSING PARTS! Not just one or two mind you. We are missing light fixtures in several rooms, almost all of our casing and baseboard is popping off or missing, both of our toilets had broken fixtures and were leaking everywhere, the stove REEKS of gas every time we turn it on, and when it rains, water leaks in between our windows and on our floor in our office (near our outdoor outlet), several of our blinds arrived cracked and destroyed, and we had black mold in our bathroom because the shower fixture was not secured properly and was leaking all over the inside of our wall!!! I have sent them multiple emails and called multiple times OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS and have received zero assistance on this until I was eventually told We no longer warranty your home. I was jerked around for TWO YEARS until they said it was no longer their problem and they werent going to fix issues that Ive been having since DAY ONE!! The only thing they have assisted us with was the black mold and I still had to send pictures to prove it and threaten legal action! And this is just the cliffs notes version of what we have been subjected to by these people. I could write a book and how horrible this company is! THESE PEOPLE ARE AWFUL LYING SCUMBAGS WHO WILL GREET YOU WITH A SMILE, STEAL YOUR MONEY, AND TRY TO TELL YOU ITS YOUR FAULT!! Do not put yourself through what we have been through dealing with these AWFUL, HORRIBLE, DISHONEST PEOPLE!! They will sell you the dream and deliver a nightmare! I wish nothing but the worst for every horrible dishonest person who works for this terrible company!!! SAVE YOURSELF AND RUN!!

Tami Nicasio has provided the best customer service we could ask for. Her attention to our project finally got it back on track. She has been proactive in finding solutions, responded to our questions quickly, and kept us informed.Tami cares, that really makes the difference between utter frustration and success. Vincent Hall did a wonderful job of explaining all my questions in detai. He was friendly funny and was not pushy. Vincent gave me all the information I needed. Thank you for your support and answers you gave and the water you offered and even asked if we would like another when we left to look at homes.

Vincent Hall was very patient with me. Being in the Construction Industry as well as a retiring Technical Rep for and engineering firm, I am very prone to ask a lot of questions. Vincent seemed to understand my nature and waded thru everything I posed to him with ease. He was very polite, thorough, and professional, leaving me with no unanswered questions and very comfortable with his explanations and attitude. After a couple of lengthy meetings I discovered he was right on target with his estimates and held nothing back. I could tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and seriously cares for his customers. However, the property I chose (not Vincents fault in any way) to put the manufactured home on was becoming more expensive to develop than my budget would allow. Vincents overall construction and city/county code knowledge is and was very very helpful. I just wish the property I chose would have worked out better. Ask for Vincent if you come here and you wont be disappointed.

Whos #1!?!? Tami Nicasio!!! She is not only a life saver but a life long friend now. Honestly, I dont think we would be moving into our house if she hadnt come into our lives. The fates truly smiled down on us the day they brought Tami into our lives. Not only is she on top of everything but she also takes the initiative to keep in contact with us and keep us in the loop with everything going on. As you can, see. My review has changed. The owner himself, and Holly, the wonderful, kind sales person who personally showed me several drop, dead beautiful homes, both got personally involved. They both put an immediate traced on my 500$. Turns out, I was mistaken. Im embarrassed over my review, however, they found out they did send my money and it was intercepted by a shady family member of mine, and spent without me knowing. Clayton Homes is awesome, and Holly is the best. She took her time, and personally helped me with my toddlers, and my service Dog. Fortunately I didnt need to buy after all, but I may see her again in April with my V.A. Home Loan.

Buy one of these homes if you are very wealthy the foundation alone will cost you $20, 000. That includes no house justt the foundation. The houses are beautiful but way overpriced my best advice is to invest in a real home. Much more affordable
