My son and I went to this store for the first time about a month ago, to find some boots, and ended up really liking it. He now asks me to take him every weekend to go look around, so weve been there every weekend since.They have a good selection of boots and clothing, which is the main reason he likes going.The biggest thing that surprised me about this store was how really nice everyone there was. Every associate we interacted with was helpful, friendly, and welcoming.The last time we went, we were trying to find a shirt in my sons size but werent having any luck (hes right in between kids youth and adult sizes). When the associate came over to check on us, we told her what we were looking for, and she immediately jumped into action, taking us back to the kids section and looking through the shirts we we just looked at a about 5min prior. And, even though she only saw got to see him up close for about a minute, she was dead on at guessing his size, and pulled a few shirts we hadnt yet seen, for him to try on.The part that surprised me was was that she even stayed while he tried them on (they were button ups and he had a shirt on underneath), to make sure they fit, then helped him to decide on which one to choose, telling him the colors they would work best with. It honestly felt like we were shopping with a family member.After we left, my son and I were both completely shocked at the level of care and kindness she showed for two people shed never met before. I dont think Ive ever experienced customer service like that before. I dont think 5 stars is enough to give this store for how amazingly well weve been treated, and would easily give 10 if I could.

I normally shop at the pueblo west store, but I happened to be at this store. They are just as lovely and helpful as my store. I Will be back everyone was super friendly. The store looked great

While not as fun and promotional as Murdochs this store has a wide array of merchandise. The hardware department is a surprise. The clerks are very helpful.

They are always quick and friendly inside. There seem to be only one person outside trying to help everybody including doing loadouts which led to a wait to get four bales of alfalfa...

I found this store well organized and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The manager Steve called me and explained the circumstances that lead to my review and I believe that adjusting my review is warranted. I will say that it seems this store and management team is determined to change their image and do right by their customers.

Even though it feels like the store voted for Trump as soon as you walk in, the animal feed supplies are awesome and pretty affordable and the staff can be really helpful. The dog food selection is stupendous and affordable. Chicken feed is great as well. Drive up orders are REALLY well done! Overall, the store is convenient. Please stop playing country music, add diversity, stop selling guns, and you’ll be good to go.

Not a good experience. Manager Dakota was very blunt and rude when asked questions. He seemed to be annoyed I needed help. Very lazy! Find better management.

I spent weeks of my hard earned money as a single mother after just moving to the area. An employee who was short and pregnant, due in November. I asked her when she was due and she expressed she was having a boy. I am a newborn photographer and hoped to make a friend. After getting home tonight, I realized I only brought home 2 of 3 bags home and was missing just over $100 of my items not there. Many of which mattered to my 8 year old boy and his clothes that don’t fit and the things I can’t afford usually to spoil him our dogs. I called and talked to Rihanna who put me on hold three times for a total of 34 minutes and was cut off/ hung up on twice. After getting very frustrated they claimed none of these expensive and high quality items were found or claimed, and had disappeared and not been claimed by an employee. Now I am left to go in personally to be told again, they can’t do anything about it. I am very disappointed in the disrespect and misunderstanding they have put me through all day.

Some people make me laugh. It is a farm and ranch store. Yes, they sell guns and play country music. It’s kind of expected, no? I mean, I don’t like Starbucks. But then again I don’t go there. I will continue to be a customer at Big R. Thanks for great service and selection!

Mark helped us find a trailer hitch that would fit our toyota tacoma. He was very friendly and even came out to the parking lot to make sure it fit and was tightened correctly! That was so nice thank you. Also John was so kind as to find me some big fat healthy worms for fishing. Store is awesome. We will be back❤️

Great store, they have pretty much everything you could ever need to take care of land and livestock. Everyone is always nice and will help you find anything. Its also just a cool store to go walk around in and see all the interesting products they have.

Really unprofessional waited multiple days more then 20 mins on phone for sporting goods to answer smh does no one not work in there or whats the reason front desk has to transfer me and not answer a simple question smh dont waste your time here people

I called today around 3:00 and the lady that answered the phone was so rude! She clearly has no idea, or dont care about customer service at all. She refused to reply to my greeting, then snapped HOLD when she transferred my call. I hung up and got my part from Tractor Supply. I hope she goes home and cools off before taking any calls tomorrow. Terrible and hateful!

They have some very nice looking sod for sale. Cheaper and better looking than Home Depot or Lowes. We also found a lawnmower for a lower price for brand name. We are soooo very happy right now. People were very friendly and helpful. We will be back. Sometimes its good to think outside of the box. We found what we needed at better prices... Oh yea, bonus was the lawnmower was already built at no extra charge.

I normally spend $175 to $200 a year on work boots here. However that changed as of this evening. My wife and I got there before closing and were looking to buy boots. An associate walked up and told us we needed to leave since the store was closing, mind the fact it may have been right on 8pm or minute less or more.Upon seeing our disappointment and shock, this associate of Big R then asked what we were looking for and our response was we will look elsewhere from now on.I did not see any of the other customers rushed off, perhaps they were country enough and an agreement with store image.Perhaps I came across as to urban or maybe even worse, a threat to assets...People come in all shapes of colors, sizes and styles, its their heart that separates them.

Quite expense on most products. Very clean establishment and the customer service is amazing. The young ladies are very polite and helpful. My kids love going to see the baby chickens and of course my puppies love coming in for their treats. Thank you for such a great experience Everytime I go into big Rs. Oh and sometimes they have free popcorn while you shop. My kids always run. To the spot where they do the popping to check. Again.. great experiences on a regular basis and I have lived here for 4 years almost. Expensive but great environment!

Nice store everyone is nice except old man who works the fishing desk hes rude and looks like hes mad most of the time. Move him towards the back of the store and away from the fishing aisle

Knowledgeable staff and fast service.You’re greeted at the door with friendly staff and everyone is there to help you find what you need; if they don’t have it they’ll offer to order it in for you if they can, if they can’t they’ll recommend places for you to find it. When you check out your treated to welcoming cashiers who are friendly and speedy.Overall a smooth and timely process.

Most of the staff are experts in their area, and they are all very helpful. Even the younger employees who obviously have less experience are helpful and professional.It is also a locally grown chain store. At some point theyre main office was in Lamar, a farm town of 8,000 people. They are definitely a chain store in CO now, but theyre still not an out of state mega chain with no local ties or interests.

This store in pueblo is absolutely terrible!!! I had seen a online advertisement and went into store to pick it up because the website specifically stated it was in stock and in store pick only. Choose this store especially for the online ad. Drove out of my way to purchase the item to only find out that the advertisement is false they don’t even carry that brand what they had similar was a $100.00 more. They couldn’t anything but tell me the website is hardly updated it was the wrong item pictured. And the lady from the back was being so rude. The manager also asked me to complain so it looked better on them. They were no help. So beware they have false advertisement on their website! And they aren’t so helpful better off shopping elsewhere.

I love this Big R store. I am theyre often, the staff is always friendly. when I get there,they know typically what Im looking for and what I like. Ive always had a wonderful experience there.

The selection of gun parts was nice but the customer service was extremely unhelpful and at times very rude. Won’t be shopping here again for my gun needs.

The Big R employees are the wonderful. From the moment you enter the store, to the time you check out, they greet you with a smile and are very helpful. This level of friendly and knowledgeable help is why I dont shop the competition.

This place is OK, and some customer service reps are much more willing to help you than others. A little too spaced out with not the best organization. But their lawn and garden cant be beat. You will get advice to kill your weeds in hours....And if you want to dress like the Pioneer Woman, you have found your store.

I miss my younger FFLs. I cannot stand the newer older guys, rude, incompetent, made me feel like a criminal in their trash establishment. Be aware of them cause they will stare at you like youre gonna steal their over priced junk that is always out of stock.

I came to get some brine to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving in my Traeger smoker that Big R sells only to find out that they had everything to make Jerkey and sausage for deer meat but nothing for smoking a turkey in the smoker they sell and just before Thanksgiving. They seemed surprised as though they didnt think about that. I was shocked and very disappointed.

Long, long, time customer of Big R, Wanted to buy a 2.5 gal. jug of Landmaster weed killer Last day of sale 5.00 dollars off. I called to purchase over the phone with my credit card and would pick -up the next day. Manager said no we now have a policy, we can not accept credit cards over the phone, we have been burned by the mexican cartel operating out of Florida using stolen cards to purchase 1000 gallon water tanks and other items purchased over the phone and then . picked up by mexican illegals for marijuna grows in the Pueblo area. We have lost money and we had a staff meeting and have decided to change our policy on over the phone credit card purchaces . Wow,all I wanted was one item for $ 44.00 dollars. Todays technology and they can,t figure out a way to keep crooks away so honest people can make an over the phone purchase, Big R in Pueblo should hire outside professionals to put a workable system together so they wont upset there longtime customers because they lost this one and I would thing many others with that New lame policy.
