I got a suit from him for my wedding. Between ordering it and it arriving was about 3 weeks. It was perfect. He helped me find good fabric and when it came back from being custom made, it fit perfectly. It did have one issue which was resolved very quickly and with professionalism. I’ll get more from him in the future.
Garth is an amazing man! We have really enjoyed getting to know him as we created two suits. When you purchase a suit you are also getting a memorable experience. After our first custom suit experience we couldnt help ourselves and just had to order another one. It is the deep unconscious dream of every man/women to look impeccably fitted in the perfect suit. This store is charmingly situated the downtown Provo. The process to get fitted required us going in multiple times. The time arrived for us to try on the custom suits. It was a moment of great anticipation and much excitement. The moment the suits were removed form the bag our hearts plummeted. When you know you know. The fit and overall quality wasnt what we expected. We ended up paying a couple grand for the suites and have never worn. You live and you learn. We ended up purchasing different suits at a different location.

1 star because the name of the business and the process set me up to expect a perfectly *fitted* suit, but that’s not what I got. I did get details that are less important to me like fabric, colors, etc. right, but something that fits really well was the goal.Garth’s employee measured me for a suit and shirts. When they arrived (from Asia), they were all too small. I pointed this out and Garth later responded that his employee measured me exactly how I told him to. Well, I don’t remember telling him I wanted the fit to be uncomfortable and too small. On the contrary, I warned his employee that I may be hard to measure, so be careful! In any case, I don’t know if it was the measurements or the manufacturing that was done wrong.Garth said the first alteration is on him (which shouldn’t be needed if measurements were used to create the clothes?). His tailor could fix the suit in place, but we had to order new sleeves for the shirts to be fixed. When the sleeves came, the cuffs were missing the monogram the original sleeves had. I was in the midst of trying to solve this problem with Garth when the tailor quietly swapped out the original cuffs to the new sleeves, solving the issue.While this was all going on I got a voicemail from Garth asking if I had paid in full (which I had) because his accountant couldn’t find the correct charges. I was surprised at this request; if anything I thought Garth may be calling to let me know he was refunding me money for the subpar experience I was having, but that wasn’t the case.Even though the tailor did a fairly good job fixing the suit, it wasn’t within his purview to remake it to fix everything. At the end of the day I feel like I got less than what I paid for.Excluding some time I was out of town, the transaction took about 2 1/2 months from start to finish.I went to Garth in large part because of good reviews on Google. Maybe those reviews are from people with very average builds, which I don’t fit into.Throughout all of this Garth was nice enough, but his professionalism wasn’t the highest I’ve ever seen, plus the name of the business is not an accurate representation of the product for my case. Instead of getting a perfectly fitted suited I mostly got an altered, mail order suit.
Today, at age 32, I bought my first suit. My whole life I have never had an eye for fashion or style. So when I walked in, I was looking for someone to show me the way, to tell me what a suit was. How to wear it, treat it, and care for it. I was looking for someone with a good opinion who could tell me what I looked good in and why, but still allow me to guide the selection if I felt inspired. And that’s exactly what I got from Garth.He showed me around his store and took the time to explain the different styles and sizes I could explore to get the perfect fit. He dressed me up a few times and told me what looked good on me, but still encouraged me to use my instincts to make a decision based off my gut feeling about the color and style of the suit. So in the end I walked in without a clue, and walked out with an amazing suit, and a new friend.Thank you, Garth.P.S. Don’t get confused and miss him because hes not where you’re used to finding him. Garth has moved just one shop over from where he was before. Right next to the bridal store called Something Borrowed.

Garth, is one of the most sincere and genuine human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. A few weeks ago, I went into Perfectly Suited to get a custom white shirt. While there, he asked me about my current menswear wardrobe and I told him that I’m down to my last fitted white shirt, which is also my most favorite for its fit and feel… I wear it so often that the sleeve cuffs and neck collar are forever brown from sweat and overuse that even washing the shirt twice with bleach wouldn’t get the stains out. Garth told me to bring the shirt by his shop to ensure the measurements matched that of the new shirt. I didn’t think anything of it and did as he requested. When I returned to get my new white shirt, he also handed me my old one with a plastic loose sleeve over it. From the time I gave it to him to the time I came back to get my new white shirt, Garth had taken it to the dry cleaners and had them boil wash the shirt twice, removing all the dirt and left over stains, had it pressed, put it on a new hanger that was better for the ‘shoulders’ of the shirt and paid for all of it himself. I couldn’t believe that kind of customer service. Of course, the my new shirt fits perfectly and I will be buying many more items from him in the future but the thing that I still cant get over is how above and beyond he went to satisfy a customer. People like Garth are so rare and it was such an honor to not only bump into an owner like that, but to be treated so well in the process. I highly recommend Perfectly Suited for all the same reasons that other 5-Star Reviewers have stated and especially to boast about his way of handling and treating his customers.
Garth is the definition of class. I was impressed with his style, store, life experience, and overall the memorable experience I had with him and his impressive associate, Jameson. Both of these gentlemen made my fiancé and I feel comfortable and valuable as we picked out the perfect suit for the big day we have coming up. I shopped around at other custom suit stores but Garth made the whole experience easier and more enjoyable. Do not go cheap. Garth is the man! I originally bought a suit from jcrew online and my fiancé and I thought it looked funny but couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. So we called Garth and asked if we could just come in so he could tell us what looked off about the suit. Now keep in mind this original suit is completely unaffiliated with Garth in any way. When we got there he had me try my suit on and he told us what he would change and tailor to make it fit better. He never once tried to sell us on one of his suits and he only made helpful suggestions applying to my existing suit. We only tried on one of his suits when my fiancé and I asked him if we could just try one of his. The quality between the two suits was almost comical, his suit was incredible. The craziest part was that his suit was THE SAME PRICE as the suit we originally bought online. Needless to say we bought one of his suits and sent the low-quality online suit back. So the bottom line is if you want an affordable, quality suit from one of the most knowledgeable people in the business then go to Garth, you won’t be disappointed.
I came to Garth for a wedding suit. I love my suit, which doesnt often happen for me, and Garth helped make the whole experience comfortable, which doesnt often happen for me. When I came in the first time, I was called away to take care of something else and couldnt get back before he closed. I called Garth, and he told me to come in anyway. When you’re young with a tight budget, buying your first suit is a big purchase. I felt like Garth and Tom understood this. They taught me how to care for a suit and make it last a long time. Garth and Tom helped me find the perfect suit. One for my wedding, but also one that is versatile and I can use for a long time. They were patient with my indecisiveness and helped me find and try on all the colors and styles I liked. I’ll definitely be going back in the future for all my suits.
My sister used to own a boutique in the same building as Garth, and I am very glad she did, because thats how I came to find out about Perfectly Suited. Since shopping there once I felt like it was my kind of suit place.It isnt like any big chain stores that has an abundance of ok suits for a decent price, its the only place Ive found that has top-quality attire for the lowest prices around! Seriously. I served a mission in Germany where clothing can come with a low price, but in quality and price Garth beats it. He carries conservative suits as well as the eye-popping ones you may see on the runway and red carpet, all at a great price!I bought my first suit from PS a couple years ago when I was a bean pole, purchased a second shortly before serving in the Air Force, and last week was sized up for my third. From the first suit to now I have filled out, and after offering to buy a new pair of pants to fit my new figure, Garth pointed me in another direction to try and get the pants re-sized. He turned down an opportunity to make some money to get me the best deal...that says a lot of his character and care for his customers.All-in-all I dont plan on going anywhere else as long as I can help it. Garth did an amazing job of helping me to pick out a great looking, well fitted suit. Most suits make me look like Im drowning in it and dont accentuate my broad shoulders and narrow waist. I went in to Garth because I wanted a nice suit for interviews. I didnt love any of his in store suits so I decided to buy a custom one. I informed him of everything I wanted. He proceeded to try and talk me out of everything I wanted. I didnt concede. When I got the custom suit back it had nothing I had asked for. It also fit worse than any suit Ive boughten (All of which have been off the rack) . But I was strapped for time and was not able to wait for a new suit. Biggest waste of money Ive done in a long time.

Body Shaming Elitists...I went in about three years ago and was basically told I was too fat to look good. Didnt leave a review at the time, but was recently (still) searching for a tailor that could work with someone not built like Brad Pitt and happened upon this listing again. Figured I should share my experience.
My son recommended Perfectly Suited by Garth, for my youngest sons mission suit to Finland. Garth brought out a great European style that goes beautifully with my sons light complexion. It looked stunning on him! At 65, Garth got right on the phone and ordered the suit in long. As promised it arrived from LA in two days. I was so pleased with his friendliness--he simply enjoys people and isnt afraid to show it.
Garth doesn’t fall short of any of the reviews that I have read. He is a warm, kind man who is ready to help however he can. I didn’t interact too much with the other staff but they were also willing to help during our small interactions.The suit I received was well made and looked good. The tailor that they use is a great guy as well at a good price. I got a pre made suit from Garth and had it fitted and I was not disappointed. Top notch.

THE place to get a custom suit in Utah county. Bought a three-piece custom suit and it looks beautiful. Garth included a free custom shirt and a free tie to go with it. Youre able to choose from too many colors and fabrics to count, can customize the lining, buttons, pleats, fit, you name it. He sends you to a nearby tailor and takes care of the cost if the custom suit doesnt fit just perfect. A really great guy with a knack for fashion. The non-custom suits also looked great and were well-priced. Couldnt give a perfect rating because I asked for a back flap on my jacket and didnt get one, but the suit looks so good Im not terribly bothered and never get any acknowledgements of the suits I wear). I had a brand new employee (NOT Garth) do most of my customization and I think there was some miscommunication, but again--it looks amazing so just a minor complaint (seriously, I had 3 or 4 people compliment my suit the first day I wore it and I never get comments on my suits--its not flashy, just plain grey, but I guess fits and looks great enough for people to notice). My advice would be to ensure that Garth looks over the final form with you before sending it off to be made if youre super particular about the specifications. If you need a new suit, GO TO PERFECTLY SUITED, theyll hook you up!

Amazing experience getting my prom suit here! I showed up the first time just browsing and Garth went out of his way to make me feel very welcome in his shop. He talked to me about all the different types and he REALLY knows his stuff. The next time I went in to actually order the suit, he was on the phone in seconds ordering the suit. When I finally went in to pick it up, the suit looked and fit great. Then Garth talked to me about me, really wanting to get to know me, and offered me some style tips as well. That’s why I like Garth, he’s a very personable guy who takes care of his customers, but he’s also got amazing prices for quality suits. He even offered me a discount just because he happens to know my mom! Great experience all around, I’m definitely going to get all of my suits from Garth!

Garth is a really nice guy and professional. I ordered a custom shirt that he measured wrong and I fronted all of the cost. He even saw how my shirt sleeves were too long and the shirt waistline went out like a dress after I tried it on. The length of the sleeve is definitely noticeable with a suit. This means I need to go buy another shirt, and I practically wasted $100. 1 star for product + 1 for Garth
The level of courtesy and care Garth took in sizing and fitting me for a custom build was beyond what I expected. Even on a busy Saturday, without other employees to help various customers, he still managed to help me find exactly what I was looking for in a suit. Products were delivered on time as promised. Im eager to have more custom work by him done in the near future.
Have bought 4 of my last 6 suits from Garth. Garths off the rack option are comparable to some 1-2k custom options Ive gotten - plus the tailor he uses is incredible & fast. Theyre bespoke quality suits for half or one third the price, and you get them within 1-4 days.

Garth is never allowed to retire. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Every time I stop in Matt and Garth treat me like family and make sure everything is tailored perfectly. I am a power lifter and have never found anyone who can make things fit well. I recommend them every single time. I’ve already gotten a friend to get his suit from here and he loves it as well.

After exhausting myself at all the “usual” suit places in town, I stopped by Perfectly suited for the first time earlier today. The staff was super helpful, did not pressure me and helped me find a great fitting suit for a fair price. I will definitely be back in the future.
Got my wedding suit here. Excellent customer service, didnt push anything I didnt want but helped me make decisions that I havent regretted in the 2 1/2 years since then. Had to settle with a little bit tighter pants than I would have preferred (even after alterations), but it hasnt ripped yet and my wife isnt complaining. :)
Perfectly Suited displayed one of the worst examples of customer service I’ve ever seen, and I feel that other people should be forewarned. I bought a suit from them about a year ago. The entire time I was in the shop the salesman was highly condescending and kept offering me things I didn’t want. I told him I wanted a black suit with a vest and he kept showing me blue and gray suits with no vest. They were fine suits, but I felt like he was trying to sell me something I didn’t want. When I finally did find the three piece suit I wanted, we ordered it. When it came in, it was completely too small. I tried it on in the fitting room and told the same salesman who sold it to me that it was too small and very uncomfortable. He assured me that I would be able to get it sized at a tailor. Trusting that he knew what he was talking about, I took it to a tailor and spent over $50 to get it altered. The pants were still too small and the tailor told me that they couldn’t be taken out anymore. I’m 5’6’’ and 150 pounds. I’m pretty small to begin with and this suit has no wiggle room.When I took it in to Garth (the owner), I explained how I felt that his salesman had done a poor job in sizing me and just wanted to push the inventory out the door without worrying about my satisfaction. Garth’s solution to the problem was to swap my suit out for a more expensive one (again only offering ones with on vests that I didn’t like) and make me pay the difference. I wasn’t happy with that, but I would have dealt with it. In addition though, he was going to make me eat the $50 I already spent getting the old suit altered and pay the additional fees to get the new suit altered. He had a very unconcerned “it’s your problem” kind of attitude. I walked out of there feeling ripped off disappointed at the fact that there was no recourse. I’ve been wearing the suit, but it’s very uncomfortable and I hate it. To top it off, the zipper on the pants broke about two months ago (because they’re so tight) and now the suit is completely worthless to me. I feel very displeased with the way he treated me (mind you I was very cordial the whole time) and I feel embarrassed that I payed $380 for a suit that has never fit right. If I wanted a crappy suit, I would have bought one off the rack somewhere else for far cheaper. Maybe my experience was the exception, but don’t take a chance. Save your money and go somewhere else. As far as I see it, these people are hacks. They’re businessmen who only want to sell you something. They don’t care whether or not you walk out of their fancy storefront “perfectly suited” or not.

I didnt make a purchase, but Garth was great to work with. The suits are rather pricey compared to other stores in the area, but they have a fantastic selection of fabrics for custom made suits.
Garth and is staff are a class act! They are very nice and help you get what you need. Mine was a wedding suit and it turned out just like I needed it.

We found Garth several years ago and have not been shy about recommending him ever since! Every suit is beautifully tailored, in fashion, high quality and reasonably priced. Garth is the man in the know! He will teach you just how to wear and care for your suit. His customer service is beyond compare. You are seriously treated like royalty. You can shop elsewhere- but you will be woefully disappointed and not nearly as good looking!

I get most of my suites here. They are very professional and generally have a better cut than most of the places around here (definitely better than Jos. A. Bank and Mens Warehouse). They also have awesome custom suites that are reasonably priced all things considered.

Its almost hard to describe how wonderful Daniel and Garth were in the process of getting fitted and ready to go. Their customer service is pure excellence, as well as their pricing caught me off guard. These gentlemen know their stuff, I will never go elsewhere.
Perfectly Suited is without question the finest in gentlemens clothing that the area has to offer. When my wife and I were married I contacted Garth for a custom suit, he made arrangements to meet my wife and I where we live for our convenience. Garth always takes the time to make sure that you love everything about your clothing and that it fits perfectly. I never knew what a custom suit felt like before, it is a completely different experience than buying a suit off the rack and having it fitted.I am not an easy guy to fit, I wear a 48 suit coat and at the time a 34 waist pant. My suit looks better than a suit that costs 3-4 times as much at Nordstrom. I also have two more suits and half a dozen custom shirts from Garth that are always the source of compliments. I have had the shirts for more than 6 years and have lost a total of 3 buttons, the durability and feel of the fabrics is second to none.Garth is one of the most passionate and caring people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting; you will not be disappointed here, what you will enjoy truly is an experience. I cannot say enough good things about Garth and Perfectly Suited.

Perfectly Suited carries the nicest suits in Utah County. You can see a major difference between Perfectly Suited items compared to Mr. Mac or Mens Warehouse. I purchased a suit for my husband and he loved it. Perfectly Suited is so great.

Garth is a pleasant little hobbit of a man. He offered extreme patience to me in my process of picking a wedding suit. Insanely low prices for super sick suits. I do wish he had come with me to his tailor Lito, cause Lito is a terrifying honery latino man. Garth said he will go with as long as you ask. Awesome experience. Best in the area. He even gave me a free custom shirt. I bought 1/2 custom suit - it was pre-made and then I got it fully tailored with Lito. Garth never even asked me to pay, but of course I did pay, because Im a gentleman in a fine suit.
