These guys run a great shop! Very clean, well organized, and they were helpful and friendly. They had a solid selection or banjos, ukuleles, guitars, etc. Really a little of everything! They were great about giving each customer their time and appreciation too, despite it being busy! (They were also very polite about me taking photos)

I don’t often post reviews of places but I was so impressed with my experience here that I’m still parked in front of the store typing this. I’ve been to a lot of guitar shops and this one has the best service by far. They made me feel welcome even though I am a novice at the guitar. They gave me some great advice about how to keep my guitar in great condition and avoid cracks or issues. The guy (I wish I had grabbed his name) was super friendly and helpful and took the time to oil and clean my guitar after restringing it. I will definitely be coming back. Love the vibe of the shop too.

We live about 65 miles south of Provo Utah. Our son was looking for a particular guitar. The first store that comes up when googling was Guitar Center. They did have the brand we were looking for and the site said they were open until 9:00pm. We left right after work and headed to the store and when we got there- there was a sign on the door stating “Sorry for the inconvenience but we are closed today”. Our son was sad. I googled and found Boothe Brothers. We gave them a call and they had a couple guitars in the brand we wanted. Keaton was very helpful and treated our son like a true musician. Very impressed by the store and service. We ended up buying a guitar, amp, strap and cords. For a deal far better than we were looking at the other place. They didn’t have a case at their Provo store that fit so Keaton called their Spanish Fork store. He then referred us there to a man named Devin(with the beard). Devin was waiting for us and hooked us up. So my point is- skip the big box store and go to Boothe Brothers!!

I grew up in Spanish Fork, so Boothe brothers music was THE place to go for anything music. Ive purchased a Teton guitar there, and when one of my frets started buzzing on it, Rick at the Provo location was very kind to give it a quick fix. I also had Rick install a pickup in my Martin Acoustic, and he did a beautiful job. Also, I went in to buy an amp for my Stratocaster and the amp didnt come with a footswitch, but they ordered one for me anyways because they are just that awesome and friendly!!!

Very friendly people. Ive bought a bass and had an acoustic and electric set up by them. The guy setting up the guitars would call me periodically letting me know what he was doing and if there were things that needed fixing/setting up/replacing that I didnt know about. Very willing to negotiate on some pricings (not everything, obviously, but they can be flexible). They keep a neat store with a pretty good selection. Obviously this isnt Guitar Center so the selection isnt huge, but they have a lot of brands that the local Guitar Center doesnt have. Would recommend for anyone looking for a set-up or a new instrument!

I think it’s a solid store and some of the reviews are totally wrong. Each time I go in here I’m greeted by nice dudes who you can tell love guitars. They let you play whatever you want, and never pressure you. I would absolutely recommend this store. My only reason for 4 stars is I think their upscale acoustic selection is lacking. But other than that, I think this is a fantastic store with a great instrument, music, and accessory selection.

This location really scored big with their guitar tech. Rick loves his craft and went above and beyond to get my old beater running like new. He even kept the busted pickup he had to replace to show me what was wrong with it so that I didnt feel scammed or like I was being sold something I didnt need. The other cats in there have been upbeat and seem happy to see me when I have come in. I even saw them be nice to avid Trump fans that had matching red Trump labeled shirts and matching hats to clearly delineate their political leanings. Dont care what side of the fence you are on, if someone who is potentially polarizing is handled with care and professionalism, guarantee the less flagrant folk will be too! I know I was and then some! Cheers to the crew at Boothe Bros in Provo!!

This music shop was a pleasure to visit. I stumbled into it pretty much on accident a handful of months ago and ended up falling in love. They have a wide selection of instruments from ukuleles to guitars to banjos to violins to cellos. They also have all the accessories you could ever want for your guitar/other stringed instrument.I ended up chatting with the owner and had a lovely time hearing about how the shop is a dream-come-true for him. It was sweet and impressive to see how much he cares about the store and providing good service.Boothe Brothers also does instrument repairs, can install the pins for guitar straps, and many other instrument-related services. If you want one of your instruments looked at, you can bring it in and trust that Booth Brothers will take great care of it.Another very exciting thing that the store does is host occasional live performances from musical artists and bands as well as having open mic nights where patrons are free to go up and sing or play an instrument on.Overall, this is a lovely shop and a wonderful place to visit. Even if you arent interested or well-practiced with any instrument (yet), it is an exciting place to walk through to see all the merchandise, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful.

We literally ran to this shop to get there in time and take a look to decide if we wanted to purchase something as my sister is a musician. NOPE. All of the guitars are labeled grab an employee if you would like to play one of the instruments but dont actually do that or the owner will yell at you.We had a quick conversation and he was standing right next to our party when my sister touched one. Then he kind of lost it and told her she could absolutely not touch any of them. He said I guess I should have told you that before. Thats correct, you should have. If you dont want people to touch them then they should be labeled accordingly.I personally feel that you would be better off going somewhere like guitar center or literally anywhere else. Those guitars arent typically good enough quality for a professional musician but least you wont get yelled at. From other reviews it seems that this isnt an isolated incident.

Boothe Brothers is the music shop the Provo area NEEDS. They’re like the dream mom-and-pop shop because they’re more interested in helping musicians than they are at making a quick buck. They have a great selection of guitars, basses, amps, effects, and more. I was mostly interested in the Gretsch, Teton, and PRS guitars, but it was refreshing to nice a quality blend of instruments across different price levels. The store is great but the reason I wanted to review this place was because of their guitar tech. I’ve had just about every other shop in the area try working on my guitars, but none of them have shown the skill and precision that Boothe Brothers has taken. I recently took a guitar in to get the nut filed, and I was so relieved to see that their tech took delicate care and interest in my instrument. I was in and out of the shop within twenty minutes and I couldn’t be happier with the work they did!

The reviews tell the truth. As a repair shop, this is one of the best you can find around, with great prices and top-notch quality repairs. Unfortunately, the guitar selling part of the shop is lacking. The guitars they sell are brilliant as well, but as they (according to Reo) change the strings on their guitars every 3 times theyre played (which is ridiculous in my opinion), they dont allow anyone to play any of the instruments unless you have absolutely decided you are going to buy one, same day. Also, Reo also said he lets people actually play about 3 guitars max each session and then (as other reviews have described) proceeds to play the others for you and tell you which one sounds best in his opinion. Not a great selling strategy, to say the least. So the verdict is, if you want to buy a new, fantastic quality acoustic instrument, its probably in your best interest to go elsewhere. But if you want to bring your instrument in to be fixed and made to sound brilliant (acoustic or electric), by all means, you wont be disappointed.

Ive had Reo fix/setup many guitars and basses for me. Its always done very well, at a great price, and very quickly. I have plenty of high end guitars, but one of my favorites is a cheaper 70s Takamine bought on Ebay. When I got it most of the strings were buzzing on the fretboard and it couldnt be tuned. Reo resurrected the guitar and made it sing. I play that acoustic more than any other guitar I own. Great service and great shop.

Nicest guys in the world! Extremely precise and dedicated to doing the job right when it comes to making your guitar easier to play, filing frets, nut, or bridge.
