OVERVIEW - 4.5My wife sent me here on a strong craving.LOCATION - 5It took me a few minutes to find this place with my GPS, as I was trying to get here on my own instinct. Other than that it wasnt too hard to find it.PRICE - 3I wasnt too fond on the prices of the cookies, they were a little pricey for my liking especially considering their sizes.PRODUCTS/SERVICES - 5The cookies that I chose seemed rather delicious. I selected a double chocolate chunk and it was indeed delicious, but once again thought it was over-priced.POINTERS/PERKS - N/ANot sure what the pointers or perks would be but I am sure thered have to be a few.EMPLOYEES - 5The young lady that helped me on the register was kind and all, no complaints.
My husband and I visited Insomnia on 4/20, when they did a free cookie give away in celebration. Though we didnt honor the holiday, we did drive down from Salt Lake City & it wasnt a disappointment. Theyre open late, which means you can avoid traffic, and they keep the cookies warm always. We each got one free cookie, and selected a couple other of the traditional cookies. We got chocolate mint, peanut butter, sugar, and white chocolate macadamia. The mint was delicious, not too rich but very chocolate with the perfect amount of mint. I will say my favorite was buy far the peanut butter. I dont like gooey cookies but this one was warm, and soft, know the difference! It broke apart in my mouth and the chips of peanut butter melted fast on my tongue. It tasted like real, delicious peanut butter. It was as if the peanut butter went to heaven and became an angel. That angel was the cookie I ate.
Went to get the free cookies we were offered as new move ins to the area...great strategy. Awesome for free but pricey otherwise. $9:50 for 6 cookies that taste not a lot different then a subway cookie..also had the brownie, very crumbly and not really the taste I like for a brownie. The bonus I guess for this area is deliveries til 3am.
If you enjoy a soft, gooey cookie, youll enjoy Insomnia Cookies. My wife and I went on 4/20 for the free cookie promotion and ended up buying a couple more cookies because they were so good. The lady working there was real nice, too. This was our first time at Insomnia Cookies and well definitely be back next time were in Provo.
We finally tried this place tonight. I got the double chocolate chunk cookie and loved it. We also tried the ice cream cookie sandwich and it was pretty good! The cookies here are warm and just like you remember from your childhood. If you want a classic cookie, I would recommend Insomnia Cookies if you’re not in the mood for an over the top cookie from Chip or Crumbl.
I was so excited to find a cookie place open late and offering a gluten free option. And get this guys! They DELIVER!The only thing I would suggest is that they have more gluten free options. Since they only have the chocolate chip. Which is super yummy.
I appreciate the effort, but these honestly taste like cookies bought from the store and warmed up. Honestly nothing really special about them. I went here on New Year because they Crumbl and Chip were closed, I now regret it. 3 of my cookies were in very odd shapes and more like a biscuit than a cookie. Flavor wise, not impressed.
First time there never going back. I went there around 10:30 last night and the customer service was awful the girl who was in the front had an awful attitude whenever we had a question and she was eating snacks in the back before attending to us and when she scooped out ice cream she hadn’t washed her hand or used gloves. she also had headphones and the keys from around her neck were in the ice cream containers whenever she’d lean forward to scoop out our ice cream. with serious illnesses going around, right now is NOT the time not to be using proper food handling. WASH YOUR HANDS PLEASE. not to mention the cookies are basically store bought ones. pretty disappointed tbh. 🤦🏽♀️
Wow! Super fast delivery! After placing the order online, only 14 minutes passed before the cookies were at our door! And they are amazing! We ordered vegan gluten free and they taste just as delicious as regular chocolate chip cookies! A++
I ordered cookies at 1:30 and was supposed to receive them at 3. I got a call a couple minutes after 3 and was told that it would be another 10-15 minutes before my cookies were to be delivered. THEY HAD AN HOUR AND A HALF to get my order ready. Next time I am just going to wait until Monday and have crumbl deliver me cookies. They didnt even offer anything to make me feel okay that my order was late. I needed these cookies to be on time. College is rough and Im disappointed.
I am vegan and not only are the Insomnia vegan/gluten free cookies sooo good, (You cant even tell) but that was for sure the quickest delivery! 14 min from the time I ordered to when they arrived in my mouth. 10/10 would recommend. Plus the cookies arent enormous so you dont get a stomach ache after. 😘 Thanks for the great cookies and great service!
This place is super great whether you are just dropping by for a warm fresh treat, or getting a late night delivery right to your door. They also serve ice cream and other special dishes as well. Made fresh, and a variety of different cookie options make this place a must!
Awesome warm cookies and yummy ice cream! Love how late theyre open, well be returning a lot!
My favorite cookie place. I love that they’re actual cookies not something like muffins from places like crumbl. I love that they’re open late, I just wish they would deliver a bit farther. I’m maybe 5 miles away and they don’t deliver to my location.
This place is amazing the cookies are amazing I was so excited when they built one out here because back home we always went to insomnia. Plus this place also has ice cream?! And stays open til 3 am. What cookie place is doing it like them?
Their cookies were amazing even a week after they were purchased. I dont know what some of the other reviewers had a problem with, however It is definitely worth a try, not to mention their the only place around that remains open til 3:00am and even on Sunday! Cant beat that!
Cookies are tiny compare to chip and crumbl, and they charge $10 for 6 basic cookies. Not impressed with flavor or texture either. Also, $4 for a small ice cream?
Just went and the door was locked. An employee came up from her car and said they’re closed until 6 pm. I had checked online to make sure they were going to be open and literally had driven just to get cookies, so I was very annoyed that they weren’t open. I asked if they had their changed hours posted anywhere and she said no, that’s it’s just for this week because they’re understaffed. They didn’t even have a note of their changed hours on the door. Well, I’m not going back. What a waste of time.
Still waiting for cookies i ordered 2 hours ago, havent had them before. This is my first experience with them. Called customer service twice 40 minutes apart. Both told me the same thing theyre leaving the store right now still waiting for them. So dont waste your time.
For my first time this place is awesome people are nice the cookies are amazing and I just found out they have ice cream But hopefully one day theyll have pie It would be a great addition
Not worth it. Honestly I read the reviews but Im an optimist and thought maybe people are just a little picky. I on the other hand am not picky and was left very disappointed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the woman who was at the counter was very nice. I was hopeful that itd be good because it is after all the only cookie place open on a Sunday but nope! Theyre small as can be, unsatisfying, they have a very small selection, they are doughy and fall apart and theyre absolutely not worth the price. In conclusion, dont even waste your time to go inside and check out the menu. Crumbl is a way better option.
Thank you for doing such a great job with the Gluten free cookie. My son is celiac and not many stores understand cross contamination. Cookies tasted great.
This place has exactly what I want when it comes to cookies. Some of the other places in Provo are too cake-y. Their cookies are more along the lines of the Toll House recipe.
My gripes are as follows,-When they sent the confirmation E-mail they were origanally going to ship it to the wrong address.-They were 10 minutes late from their delivery time they gave. And even with the wrong address, it is at most 2 minutes from the correct address.-The cookies came doughy. Like they were not cooked all the way through. Turn the oven down 10-15 degrees and leave the cookies in another 2 minutes.-They got the order wrong! I ordered one of each cookie, and didnt get the ones we ordered.-The cookies were greasy. Like the same amount of oil off of the cookies as you would find on a pizza box.-These cookies tasted like Pillsbury cookies from a tube. And they were small. There are other cookie delivery places that make way bigger, and better tasting cookies.Dont mess up your night, and go somewhere else.
I’ve had store bought cookies that taste better than these. Stale and overpriced.
I don’t know how this place has any five star reviews. The cookies aren’t good, and our entire box was barely cooked, really doughy and fell apart when we tried to pick them up. Service was depressing... this was a bad experience. We’ll stick with crumbl for late night urges.
Literally best place ever! I love the VEGAN GLUTEN FREE cookie
Warm. Delicious. Worth every bite... seriously the Coconut Macadamia are off the chizainnn...
Dont waste your money! I had these cookies at my friends house and they are not worth your time or money! They came doughy, like not cooked all the way through! They were flat, greasy, had flavor the equivalent of cardboard, they are small, and they didnt even send the right order. If you want to spend money on cookies- buy from Crumbl or Chip. These nasty cookies dont even compare!
With the success of homegrown Chip and Crumbl, its no surprise that Insomnia was going to show up eventually. I didnt know anything about them when I saw the store, so I stopped in to see if they were any good. Heres what I found out: This is a larger chain, with hours that creep into the awful hours of the night, hence the name. They get all their dough delivered cold from their supplier and bake on site. The reason they only get two stars is that although their selection is varied, the cookies are tiny relative to their competition, were overcooked, and the cashier got really defensive when we wanted to see an actual cookie from the batch being sold. She kept telling us that she baked them herself, but we had seen the guy that ordered before us leave with dark brown chocolate chip cookies that looked hard and crunchy. We ordered some, and they were cooked to dry crunchiness, even dunked in milk for a few minutes they were not soft. Complete waste of money. Maybe it was just a bad batch, but Im not going to risk it when theres more reliable local options nearby that have never disappointed.
If you want a really great cookie, go to one of Insomnia Cookie’s competitors. Super disappointing.
Amazing service, awesome selection, and they even sell milk!
Very good, peanut butter was the best. All the chocolate chips were melty and everything
Thank you for the cookie delivery! They are delicious!
Such a fun idea and really yummy cookies!!
Their cookie cakes are fantastic! And they deliver right to your door
