I am a relatively new customer, but he came highly recommended. Does know his stuff from what I can tell, and was able to hook me up with the exact part I needed, and at a reasonable price. Its a Mom and Pop place worth the visit. Is it glitzy? No. But I bet he has what your looking for in terms of car audio, or knows where to go to find it. Friendly service. Changes in the road make it more challenging to get too, but I think more than worth it! Dont judge a book by its cover...

This guy wired my car for subs and door speakers. Told me my sub amp was defective. He wired my door speakers and amp wrong. My amplifier wasnt shutting off so it kept draining my battery. I went to Stereo Steves they fixed the amp from draining my battery and get this! He tested my sub amp and told me it worked fine. So I had them hook up my subs. I had the worst experience with install specialties!

I was looking to replace 4 speakers, put a 5 channel amp to the speakers and subwoofer in the back of a small toyota, and when I asked for a free quote it was literally $300 dollars less than the other place I was considering. It took me about 3 hours to make up my mind and come right back to some fantastic Rockwell and JBL products. Lance prioritized my project to be done in the window of 11-5 on a summer day and had my car apart and put back together in a single day. By himself. Now I have a custom built box in the back for the sub, amped up speakers, and all for labor rates I consider reasonable for a man with skills and so many years of experience. I am very impressed with Lance at Install Specialties! I stopped by without an appointment yesterday to ask about wiring in a sub and amp to my car and within an hour he had finished! He even sat in the trunk while we fine-tuned the sound for about 20 minutes. As others have said, the shop may not be flashy, but the work and professionalism that comes out of it is top notch and unrivaled. I will return here for future audio install needs!

Went in this last Saturday to get a new head unit in my car and a subwoofer in my daughters. Cant imagine a better experience. Ive came her once and Im always coming here. The first time the service was very fast and cheap. I also want to say that who ever answers phone is very polite and patient. This person has answered every single one of my questions with such calmness and was very attentive to what I have to say. He gave me such a cheap price quote, which beat all other audio companies (as far as I know!) Customer service is great here and prices are very very cheap. What more can you ask for? I wanted to have an amp and subwoofer put in my car. I called earlier in the day and they fit me in. They did a great job. It was quick and was a fair price. Sounds great and everything is put back factory. Just looking, you couldnt tell anything was done, until you turn on the system... Then watch out! Great work, fair price, easy to deal with. They even mounted some brackets so it doesnt slide around. They did a couple of other extra troubleshooting things too. Thanks!!!

I went there today to get a double din put in my 04 Tahoe and have it hooked up to existing headrest monitors! Lance took me in on a late deal on a Saturday when he was already full a fair price disassembly and assembly was professionally done and I am happy with there work and warranty!!

I went in and told them that I wanted a full system for my car eventually but only wanted to do it in stages. They didnt try to sell me anything that I did not want or need. Instead, they were very helpful in guiding me to the first step that would make the biggest improvement in sound with the least financial impact. They then did the install very quickly and professionally. I will be going back for upgrades later because they were beyond competent and very honest.

Awesome place!! Took my car in because my stereo wasnt producing any sound. They fixed it for me right then and there when any other place would have charged me a fee just to look at it. I will definitely go to them from now on due to their generosity and honesty.

Really good service. The manager and worker was nice and professional. They did a pretty clean job and advise me about a broken speaker doing a short in the whole radio, they changed it and fixed it. Really good price too, I went to another shop before them, and they were way more expensive than them, not to mentions that they couldnt do the job at the moment, told me I had to wait 2 weeks. This guys, finished the job in 45 minutes. I would highly recommend it!

I ordered an after market backup camera online and asked Lance and Trevor to install it. They did but the screen had lines running through it. They double and triple checked the install but the lines remained. Defective part. I ordered a replacement and they installed for free just to make sure I was satisfied with their service. Theyre five star rated for a reason. Will use again and hope you do too.

Worst install ever. I bought 4 Rockford Fosgate 6.5s, 2 tweeters and an amp from these guys. After the end of the day the I picked up my truck. I tried to pay for it with a check and Trevor said if I didnt pay with cash it would be a lot more, so I paid $800 cash. After I left I turned on the new sound and it sounded horrible. There was a thick bundle of wires coming out of the floor where he cut the carpet, and the rear window controls were broken and dangling over. I was so disappointed in the sound that I bought new speakers and took it to an installer in north Orem. Turns out the speakers were butchered from Trevors install and not sealed correctly so the Fosgates couldnt produce the sound it was supposed to. There are more issues but I dont want to post a novel. Maybe it was an off day but I dont understand where the 5 star reviews come from because these guys are hacks. Complete waste of money.
