The smallest Target I have ever been to. It almost feel like a little convenience store or like a walgreens. I hated it. They had nothing. Wont go to this location anymore.
Dont plan on making any returns from target.com or any other target store, cuz they dont do returns unless you bought it in that specific store. If that isnt annoying enough, your order is never ready when you order online, even when it says its ready. Employees at the front dont seem to have any significant training and always have to call someone else up.
Every store has that “we’ll match the lowest price” guarantee, but this Target has earned 5 stars from me for actually matching a price and saving me 60+ dollars.I picked something off of a shelf, thinking it was $20. I was shocked to see it ring up as $80 at the self-checkout! When I inquired about it, the employee looked it up and confirmed that $80 was indeed correct. Turns out it had been shelved incorrectly. I went to look for a cheaper alternative and was unsuccessful, so I mournfully went back to the check out where they had held my other things. These blessed employees had looked up the very same item on Walmart and found that they were selling it for a mere $17. Before I knew it, they had knocked the price down to match it, and I was gleefully leaving the store without an empty bank account. 5 stars for excellent service from these two ladies- I wish I got your names, but you made my life that much better today!
Please scan your products correctly so that people don’t drive out of their way to come here (after being told over the phone that you had an item in stock) only to find out that you don’t. Employees were nice so it’s not 1 star.
The store is clean and overall easy to shop. It is a smaller format so the options are more limited. I would strongly urge anyone shopping the store to check expiration dates as I purchased gum that had a use by date of 2020. It for sure tasted old and was difficult to chew. The employees I interacted with were nice and provided great customer service.
First of all whoever decided on this location should be fired. Getting in or out of this place is a nightmare. Especially at lunch hour...have you ever seen the line at that Chick Fil A? Oh my and then if you are trying to get around that to shop at Target ughhh. Then you have the fact that this is a small Target...why? If I’m going to shop at Target and commute from Springville, I may as well drive to Orem for the full store. On a positive note, this location does do returns for any Target product even though this location may not carry the item. So if I have a return, I’ll go here. This location has a little bit of everything, is clean, customer service was great.
Absolutely love this place. Always has just what I need (whether I know it or not)!
A fairly small selection. Check on the app before you go just to make sure they have the stuff you’re hoping to get
Its small but it still feels like a target so I will take it
Pretty much the worst target I’ve ever been to. You can get a better selection of anything at practically any gas station
As far as mini college-catering targets go, its a good one. My main complaint is that there are absolutely no accommodations for people with mobility disabilities. For people who use crutches, braces, or a cane, dont shop here; there are no electronic driving carts and no disability accessible carts. Had to turn around and leave.
I tried to return a dress to this store that I bought online and they said I couldnt return to this store. I thought all Targets took online returns. 🤷🏼♀️
Items listed in the app aren’t there. They won’t accept returns if they don’t sell that item in the store….since it’s tiny they probably won’t take anything you bought online
This Target would be better if it didnt charge more for the same items as Orem and American Fork.
Its aight
Great little target. Has a large selection of toiletries and a little bit of clothes. Great place to come snag something for a party or last minute shopping. There are hardly ever lines and the self check out is quick.
CUTEST LITTLE TARGET. It doesn’t have everything, but it has a great selection for the size and it’s WAY clean and cute. Would recommend.
I kind of hate shopping here because of how crowded and cramped things are, but mainly because there are usually 2-5 employees just standing, STARRING at you as you use the self check out. Either open the other non-self lane or put those employees to work. It’s awkward to say the least. And often those employees offer unwanted help. One time one violated social distancing to try and get me to sign up on a program with Target. He got right up in my face. There is zero autonomy or personal space at this place and it’s just.......weird. I understand security but having multiple people watch every item you bag is....odd and uncomfortable. Not the shopping experience I usually have at other Targets.
This is a smaller target. It has a little bit of everything. Definitely caters to the college students. It is very clean. I usually have to use the self check out door to no one at the register. Clean stir with friendly employees.
I’m honestly obsessed with this Target. The employees are super friendly and helpful. I feel like they have a really good selection and variety of products as well. 9/10 things I’ve ever needed have been here as opposed to needing to go to the bigger Target. And there’s always a ton of parking available! And they accept Apple Pay.
They wont let u return anything bought at another target location--even when customers have called asking for the item! So much for the customers time and money. They shouldnt be allowed to call themselves a Target store.
For such a small location, they carry a surprising variety of items. Ive found lightbulbs, desk organizers, filter pitchers, ethernet cables, and even workout clothes... They only cover the basics in food/grocery. Maceys nearby has a wider selection for most of those items.Excellent music choices! Im always dancing in the store! For someone who primarily shops by bike or on foot, this location is a huge help. I would LOVE to see good bike racks installed out front.
The worst Target Ive been to. The store does not have a lot of things and the racks are a mess. I interacted with 4 different workers--the door greeter who was searching on her phone, someone for a price check, a person at the exchange counter, and the self check out person. All 4 of them seemed bothered to be there and they were far from friendly. They only have self checkout available. Not going back to this Target again.
Waited forever to be helped because the employee was sitting on his phone.
5 stars for Just for having Gender neutral restroom . You have my business. I have a child that doesn’t feel comfortable using the school bathrooms because of consequences so there have been times when target was one of the few safe places for my 13 old boy to use the restroom. Thanks for doing the little things that make life easier for my child.A very thankful momOf a FTM child
What is this, a Target for ants? haha, but seriously its the smallest Target Ive ever been in and it just makes me want to be in a normal size Target. I get it though, nice for college students probably. Has all the essentials.
Shelby was a great employee. Thank you for such a professional employee.
This Target is a lot smaller than most, but Im quite surprised with everything that is available. Plus, it saves me a trip into Orem. The selection of clothing was good as well as pantry staples and household goods. They had everything that we came in for.I also appreciate that Target offers gender neutral toys. I have a daughter that loves STEM toys, super heroes, batman, etc., which are never or rarely offered in the girl section. I appreciate having a toy area that either a boy or a girl can pick from without cultural expectations of what boys or girls should like.
I feel like a lot of people are giving lower ratings because of what this store doesn’t have. Of course it doesn’t have the entire Target collection, it’s a fourth of the size, but they were able to pack in so much and in the few times I’ve gone they’ve had everything I’ve ever expected out of a Target. Happy to welcome it to the neighborhood.
I’m not sure how this is called a Target. Poor customer service.
We have been looking all over for a toy for my daughter that has been sold out in EVERY other store we have tried. We called ahead to ask if they had any in stock and they did have one which at that point I would take anything I could get. We drove there and we weren’t able to find it on our own so we asked an associate un-stocking, his names was Connor. He was so kind and showed us exactly where it was and even offered to check if they had any more in the back! Which they did and we ended up getting three more thanks to him! I really appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond! Thank you for your great customer service!
They have a good selection of stuff for the location. I dont know if Id shop here if I was looking for something hard to find, but its a great place when I just need to grab something real quick that I know they will have. The location is the biggest benefit to me. Super accessible and easy to get to.
I dont like Target in general, but I needed something and saw the awful reviews when looking up the store hours. What anyone needs to know about this store is that the targeted shoppers are college students. It was not intended to be a Super Target and it never will be. If youre a student youll probably find what you need here.Giant bags of snacks? They have it. Video games? They have those. Some random computer adapter cable? They have more than Best Buy does. But they dont sell computers. External hard drives, keyboards, jump drives, phone accessories... all there. Its like an oversized convenience store for college students. Keep that in mind when shopping there.
A nice small target for grabbing the small day to day items you need and the target brand you like. Don’t come here expecting a full size Target experience. You won’t find outdoor furniture, car seats, or a pharmacy.
Overall I am pleased with this location, I wish it was a bit bigger. They don’t have everything a usual Target would have. My only issue is whenever I am in the store the employees seem to not care what is going on. It’s like I am forced to use the self check out because the employees stare you down expecting you to use them. I have to seek out an employee if I want to have someone check me out.
I love that the put a target in Provo. Its quite accessible. I wish it was a little bigger. Knowing what Target has, they always have the item I am looking for. Customer service is great.CON: The bathroom is like being inside of a nightclub. The music is so loud in the bathroom and they play very upbeat music.
I love this tiny target!! I can find all my basic needs here. I think most of the complaints are coming from grown adults with kids and such. Coming from a college student this target is the best! Doesn’t have all the unnecessary items that I wouldn’t need. Has the perfect combination of a little bit of everything. The staff is very nice and helpful!I would recommend to any and every college student. If you are looking for more go to the target in Orem, but I will say it is more chaos and the staff isn’t as friendly.
Horrible customer service at this location. I waited for at least five minutes to pick up my online order. I never saw a single employee in those five minutes to help me with my pickup. I will never be shopping from this location again.
For one who doesn’t normally shop at target, I like this store. Great location. Because it’s so close to campus I know I will be stopping by every now and then. I already have once when I needed a few random items.I found the employees super nice and willing to help.
Called target to ask if I could make a return at their store knowing they close at 11. The gentleman said yes so I Drove and arrive at 10:30, 5 minutes after the phone call. Walked in and they told me they close all the registers an hour before closing? Then what’s the point of staying open? I felt like the person I spoke should have mentioned something so I did not have to waste time
Very small. Not much selection.
I liked the store much better before they changed everythig around and now I cant find what I need. My wife likes the dollar spot
After my experience in this Target today, I will never shop in any Target ever again. Not only that, but it is now my personal aim to deter as many shoppers from patronizing Target Stores as I can conceivably deter. Why the outrage? Its very simple. If the unisex bathrooms and the unisex changing rooms and the non-gender specific toy sections werent enough to prevent you from entering a Target before now, there is one reason that should prevent ALL decent people from wanting to enter such a store. In fact, it is reason enough to chase Target from your town or even your state.Whats the big issue? In their board game section, not far from games like Apples to Apples and Blokus, Target sells a games called, Cards Against Humanity. Its advertised as, A card game for terrible people. Terrible doesnt cut it you psychopaths. On display, for any and all to see, for anybody who might, I dont know, stroll down the game aisle wanting to buy a game, is the cover to this affront to humanity they call a game. Depicted on one of the card sets that goes to the game is a caveman looking figure eating a baby. Thats right. Walk down the aisle with your 3 year old, and they see an adult man cannibalizing a baby. I know, you dont believe me. Ive attached an image of the games cover.Do you think I still sound like a crazy person? Let me ask you this: Whos crazy, the guy who doesnt want a store in his community which sells and displays grotesque, obscene filth, or the store which portrays moms and their newborn babies on one side of the store and savage depictions of men devouring those babies on the other side of the store? Are you going to keep shopping there?P.S. They wouldnt let me leave zero stars...
Five stars to the new Target in Provo! I was doing some window shopping but found a few items of interest. I purchased them but discovered that one item rang up twice the price the shelf said. I took a pic in case they wanted to see and headed to the customer service desk. Not even checking for or asking for proof, the young woman there took my word for it and refunded me the difference. I wasn’t much of a Target shopper in the past and had even had an unpleasant experience at one point. But this certainly changed my tune. Way to go, Target. I’ll be sure to share my pleasure from this experience with everyone I know!
Very nice clean store and the employees are professional and service oriented. On the few occasions Ive been here they have always been well stocked.
I can’t believe that they had the adapter I was looking for! If you need electronics this store has it. Lots of apple products too
Cute target but it’s too small for how many people shop there. I like space and freedom when shopping and I did not get that here. Nice conceptual idea tho.
I just love this little store! You have it all! Thank you and the employees are Amazing
GRUMPY EMPLOYEE ALERTI called before coming in to see if I could return shoes to this location that I had purchased online. The person on the phone told me yes! So I went in, the person who helped me was very rude and condescending, complaining about how the store is losing tons of money, it might go out of business etc because customers have turned it into a ‘return items’ store. She told me I had to take my items, drive all the way to Orem to return them. I told her I wasn’t going to do that, I was already here, and an employee had just told me on the phone that they would do it. 5 minutes before. I couldn’t believe how weird her attitude was and she treated me like I was the worst customer in the world for wanting to return TARGET items to a TARGET store. Anyways. Rant over, everyone go return your items to this location if you want a fun time!
Tiny store, but I love it
It’s pretty disappointing that this Target is so small. I get the concept, but they are lacking a lot of the things that I specifically run to Target for. Also, the cashiers that have helped me have been pretty clueless... understandable since they are all new, but it gets frustrating when my money is on the line. I’ll probably try to come back in a few months when they get a better swing of things. In the meantime, can someone start building a normal sized Target in Provo?!? 🙏🏼
I FREAKIN LOVE THIS TARGET. Dont get your hopes too high about the size and selection, I definitely still hit up Orem Target if I just need an hour of mindless Target browsing, but it has all the basics and I love that its small so I dont have to navigate a whole grocery store for one item. #Lazy
This is the worst excuse for a Target. I was so excited.. but I’ve been there multiple times and I NEVER find what I’m looking for. It’s SO SMALL so there is very little selection. No seasonal items at all. 100% worth going to the target in Orem. For me.. it’s a waste of space. Super disappointed.
Love this target. Yes it is small but its a target express meant to be just a bit more then a cvs so dont expect a Super Target. Also keep in mind that it is meant for college students so you wont find huge selections of stuff for kids. If you want many target options then move to Salt Lake county otherwise this is a good option for a small Target run and you can always go to Orem Target if you need to stock up.
It’s a cute little Target with a surprising amount of things. They didn’t have Jell-o though, which seems like an odd choice given the demographic of the location.
Super bummed out. I don’t understand why there’s such a big grocery/food section when a full-size Macey’s grocery store is right down the block. Was really hoping to do some shopping for what Target does best: clothing, accessories, home decor, and gift items. Will still be going to the location in Orem to shop at Target, even though this new one is closer to home!
Its too small. Definitely not your regular sized Target filled with goodies. Wish we got a regular sized Target in Provo. Makes me sad.
Way too small and the employees are so weird. Really strange customer service. I don’t come here anymore because of them.
Target doesnt have dandruff shampoo but other than that I really really like what they have
It is a great store in a nice location if you don’t want to go to Orem! Perfect for students!
Love this store with my whole heart. Great service, great product.
I was hoping that this store would have a pharmacy in it but there is a CVS right down the street. I think that the smaller format stores is what we need in Provo because the Super Target in Orem has too much for what some college students are looking for. I think that the food selection is great and I have been able to find some items here that are hard to find at other department stores in the area.
Its just so sad that its so small. I really had high hopes. Definitely worth the drive to Orem. Also, it really sucks that it closes so dang early, compared to the other Target at least.Edit: They changed their closing time to 11pm instead of 10pm, which is way better. Also what they carry has gotten better over the last couple months. Changed it to 4 stars. Still just sad it’s not bigger.
I love this store. I can get the Target experience without having to spend hours walking through the store trying to find the one item I need.
Terrible employees, the target itself is great. They really need to fire all staff and re-hire people who actually care for customer service. My girlfriend was profiled as she was shopping. My son was with her and they had the audacity to ask is there even a baby in there. The amount of disrespect is unthinkable. Not only that but i have called the phone number and have waited 20+ minutes to no avail. The staff here are what make this target horrible.
ADORABLE. Yeah, its no Super Target, but it 100% gets the job done.
Very small. Good for the main items you may need in a hurry.
Great combination of products in a smaller size Target store. Groceries, clothing, electronics—they have it all.
Cute store, same prices as the bigger target, great for getting a quick item
Rated 3 stars for poor selection
Came here looking for clothes, came away very dissapointed. Very small selection.. I will go to the one in Orem
Sad to know that Target is bankrupt. Hopefully this one never leaves.
This store is worthless they don’t have nothing in stock for kids. And what’s the use of selling socks if they don’t sale shoes.
Too small.. they should’ve done away with the food/grocies and had a bigger selection of clothing or electronics. I was disappointed. Kind of a waste.
This is not your normal Target, it is very condensed and smaller compared to a normal Target. Weird selection and did not have the dollar bins or a Starbucks which is what I was hoping to find at this location. Also, they play music (very loud) in this store which I found odd.
Its a very Small Target...
Store is always dirty
Love it
