This is the best pharmacy I have EVER been to. The available customer service does the very best they can with the personnel allowed. I am always met with a smile and a polite greeting. I know they try to make my experience there a positive one each time I am there. My hope is that other people will try to realize how wonderful they truly are.
Great customer serviceWell stocked store both pharmaceutical and general merchandise.
I’ve waited over 15 minutes to call them twice and they never picked up. The customer service is available awful. I recommend any other pharmacy over this one.
Absolutely horrendous store. The customer service across the board is incompetent, arrogant, antagonistic, and proudly rude, LOL. This store is a joke, and the chain should be embarrassed that such an atrocity exists so close to its headquarters. It really is laughable! I have shopped in hundreds of CVS stores from Boston to Chicago over 40 years, this one is by far the worst. The chain needs to affect drastic employee retraining, reevaluate the management team, and take action. This is not a one off bad experience, this has been consistent over 4 years of shopping at and fulfilling prescriptions at this horrid place only because it was convenient - Id rather drive 50 miles to a Walgreens! As a former Staples executive, and current consultant/adviser to big retailers like Walmart, stores like this with such horrendous customer service and derelict management - real ineptitude - will damage a chains image and reputation irreparably.AVOID THIS STORE (chain is fine otherwise)
I never have issues here! Pharmacy and front store is super nice. My prescription is always ready when I ask for it (give them time! its a pandemic). Front store personnel is always patient. Mary helped me out with my PayPal transaction and deserves a gold medal!
Absolutely horrible customer service. The one lady working the cashier was really nice but other than that everyone else working there was lazy and rude. Needed help opening a cabinet since it has a lock on it and I ask one lady that works there and she said only people at the front have the key. But that was a blatant lie as I see the key hanging out her pocket. So I find another person and she tells me that she’s gonna help me but tells me to wait a minute and after a minute, a no show. After waiting 5 minutes absolutely. I go back to the front and ask for someone and they tell me that everyone working the floor right now should have a key. 0/5 service DONT reccomend
Staff are not properly trained...resulting in giving out wrong information. This caused a package to be refused for delivery and sent back to California. If staff gave out correct information OR said, “I don’t know” then there would never have been an issue and money would not have been wasted. I’m very disappointed.
Every time I’m going to cvs providence alway is close dnt marre is 10 am is close
Quoted an hour to fill my prescription after calling in the order. Arrived 4 hours later and the prescription was still not filled yet. The woman rudely asked me to wait until “she stopped getting interrupted and could do it”. That proceeded to be another 20 minutes waiting in the store. Do yourself a favor and go to the 1000 other CVS’ that give accurate fill times and have pleasant people.
Nancy is the BEST!!
I love the store and the people that work their they are friendly and nice and kind and it also located inside the providence place mall too ain’t that so awesome though😘😘❤️♥️
Good customer service, big store, not a good area to walk to
Nice store, could use self checkout though. Tends to get a longer line on weekends and rush hour
Large, clean CVS with wide aisles, friendly staff, large selection, good hours
Tried to shop at 9:45 pm and the doors were locked, even though the sign said they were open until 11pm. The employees inside ushered us off and wouldnt answer the door.
Quick easy always have what I need
This pharmacy can be a huge hassle if you are prescribed a controlled substance. I stopped going to cvs over a yr ago because Id end up waiting on my fill only to be told they dont have my medication in stock. My insurance requires that I go to select pharmacies and I never once had a problem with walgreens (been going there over a yr), but now I have to go to this location. As of recently, Ive gotten 4 fills and 3 of the times they didnt have any in stock and I usually have to wait an additional 3-5 days. Thats can be very frustrating when it should be an in and out experience.Today I came up for my fill and explained to the employee that I had a partial fill on the 21st at walgreens and the clerk told me that I didnt have a fill left and that it was picked up on the 29 (which is only a few days ago). I panicked and repeated I had a partial fill on the 21st and didnt come to cvs on the 29th. I immediately thought someone came in and took my fill and asked them to look up who picked it up. The lady looking up the info seemed clearly agitated. Then she told me that the fill theyre talking about was picked up DECEMBER 29. Big difference. She then told me if i got a partial fill at walgreens then it would be there. I apologized and she didnt even say anything and shot me a dirty look. I told the 1st pharmacist the situation showed my receipt (with the date) and explained part of it was already filled elsewhere. Why couldnt they communicate with me from the get go that I should go to walgreens? I didnt use insurance this month so I couldve gone anywhere for a fill. And the first person didnt say December. When they said the 29th, how am I suppose to know they mean DECEMBER? Technically the 29th was a few days ago. And Of course Im going to panic if someone else got my meds.At Walgreens I come in and come out and they ALWAYS have my medication in stock and theyre very friendly. Instead of treating me like Im a hassle why not try to understand the seriousness of being medicated and that there are side effects when a person is denied said meds? Why not understand that my stomach turns inside out everytime i come here because I know Im more than likely not going to walk out with my prescription? For gods sakes they didnt have my meds 3/4 of the months Ive gone there. And todays situation couldve been avoided had the person communicated DECEMBER! I hate coming here but if youre not prescribed a controlled substance, then the experience is a a lot better. I suggest better communication skills and maybe just a smidge of empathy. If youre prescribed a controlled substance try to schedule your fill mid month or theyll likely be out.
They do not answer the phone. Dont even bother trying. Is the number they have listed even real?
Very courteous, professional got my meds right on time
I was on a solo emergency trip to Providence when I recieved a phone call that my family member was in the hospital. I stopped in on my way to the hospital to purchase a few items and asked the man behind the pharmacy counter if I could use their private bathroom. No, absolutely not. Having just gotten off the train and knowing I would not make it to may next destination I asked again at the front counter and was instantly and warmly escorted to the locked restroom by a young woman employee. On my way out of the door another customer caught up with me to tell me that the employee was publicly chastised for letting me in the restroom after the man behind the pharmacy counter said no (she was unaware of that) because he felt it made him look like a fool. My thanks to the woman behind the front counter. To the man behind the pharmacy counter; shame on you.
Even though this is not the closet CVS, its got an excellent pharmacy with helpful pharmacists like Amy and Thomas, and great support people like Josh.
I had a great experience at this cvs today. I was buying 90 percent off christmas items. There was a women who was condensing the Christmas stuff on the shelves. She was so nice and pleasant. I wish i got her name and i cant find my reciept but i believe she was a manager. She had an accent. Its great to go to the store and have someone so pleasant helping me. Thank you 😊
Good service. Visited this place once and I got my prescription medicine at right time.
