Great store, we were looking for the paint for our new home and our contractor suggested Sherwin-Williams emerald paint, we went to the store to finalize the colors for the rooms. Ariel the store manager was really professional and helpful during our overall selection process, we had few colors in our mind and she helped us to go through the catalog and color pallets to find the exact colors that we were looking for 8 rooms within 20 minutes. I needed a custom mix in order to match an existing color. I was painting a small area to cover up nail holes on a VERY tall wall and didnt want to rent a scaffold and paint the entire wall. Since the original paint was Benjamin Moore I went to a Benjamin Moore retailer, however they were unable to match the color and essentially said sorry after 2 attempts. My next stop was Sherwin-Williams since I had used them before. I explained the situation, and asked if they would be able to match the color. Ariel told me she would do her best and she most certainly did! After considerable time and small additions of pigment it was nearly perfect! It was a difficult task but she took the time and effort, with a very cheerful attitude, to insure my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Sherwin-Williams to anyone and everyone! If you need paint in the Princeton area, I highly recommend the Sherwin Williams store at the Princeton Shopping Center. Sherwin Williams paint is of the highest quality (I am a professional interior designer with 40 years of experience) and the service at this store is great. They also have the supplies you need to complete an interior painting project.

My contractor recommended this brand and got it from this store. I have to say this brand is very disappointing.After a year of painting, the paint still sticks to everything in contact. Furniture (like the picture below), cardboard, paint frame, sofa leather, you name it. It comes off and is easily stained.We used the house brand of another big store on our house before, it was in excellent condition even after 8 years unlike SW paint.Super disappointing and I wish I didnt choose this brand.

I needed a custom stain in a attempt to match an unfinished custom cabinet to an existing factory stained piece. Computer matching not an option for wood stains. They took the time and effort to create a match using only visual cues. Couldnt be happier with the finished product. True professionals! Paint & stain professionals!

Great service, very knowledgable staff no matter what youre painting. If you arent very picky about what color paint you need, ask to look at their stock of mistints (same paint, but has been tinted slightly off or not what the customer was looking for). Great sales aswell, some people would buy paint on a sale and not get it tinted so they can come back after theyve made a decision and get their paint tinted whatever color they like.
