Drove 25 minutes to this place today because the website CLEARLY says gluten free bread available. I wait in line and then the guy tells me they have not had gluten free items for weeks. I told him the website says they do and he says sorry we are undermanned and have not had any time to update the website. Sad to see the owner does not have 3 minutes to change the website so I do not have to waste my gas. DO NOT COME HERE. I will make sure everyone I know avoids this dump.

Bagel Barn has become very disappointing in the recent few years, this was the go to through my high school years and even through college when I came back. The food is good, but the service is poor. I have had many wrong orders and staff that doesnt know how to identify a bagel (one of the cashiers gave me rye instead of poppy and tried to tell me that they were the same thing).The owner has vocally ranted to customers about not being able to find staff because WE GOTTA STOP PAYING PEOPLE TO NOT WORK. This lead to BB removing the ability to call in orders and now we have to use a website with a convenience fee. So basically, we get to pay more to get the wrong order.

High school girl didnt want to edit our order so they were out of grilled vegetables... figure that out. Also service charge for credit cards? Get bent.

Im so happy we stopped here, best breakfast spot in town. The sandwiches are awesome, and the crumb cake was delicious. Great customer service.

This is my second time coming here and the messed my order up both times. I would strongly suggest checking your bag before you leave. First time they didnt give me my coffee second time the mixed my sandwiches up gave me the wrong thing. The first time when I told them they left it out the girl got mad and gave me a coffee of course it was the wrong one when I told her it was wrong she asked to see the receipt with an attitude. Today I couldnt let them know they messed up my order because they didnt answer their phone. What makes its bad is I ordered online so everything was written correctly. Hope everyone else has a better experience.

This has been our favorite bagel place- TERRIBLE TODAY! Yes, busy on Sunday.. waited OVER AN HOUR to get our simple order wrong.. two bagels, one with cinnamon -raisin CC, gave me plain cream cheese.. my husband asked for egg on his bagel- over cooked & dry.. $17.00 for two coffees & two bagels.. terrible service!I was outside the deli waiting for my husband (an hour) SO MANY PEOPLE complaining that came out with wrong orders & long wait...Not GOING BACK

The bagels are great but expect long waits during busy hours. Also make sure to check your order because your bagel may be made the wrong way (semi frequently).

I used to be OBSESSED with Bagel Barn. As a jersey girl who loves her bagels, this was definitely a must whenever I visited home throughout college. However, the last time I visited home, I found that the quality here was definitely lacking. The bagels were not as fluffy and fresh as they used to be? I was honestly pretty devastated. Now dont get me wrong, Id take bagel barn over any bagel store in Seattle. However compared to NYC bagels, this just isnt on par anymore. I knoww its not right to compare this to NYC bagels but bagel barn used to be JUST as good, if not even better.

Good bagels but now charges a $3 service fee for ordering online. This is way too much.

Okay I just left from here not even 30 mins ago and was greeted by Sophia and Rachel. Despite them getting ready to close which in my state of hungry i didnt realize these two ladies were so helpful in helping me decide what i wanted and even gave my tip for the next time i came. The overwhelming options seemed a lot more manageable because of these ladies.Now on to the turkey spinach wrap i got. $10 and this wrap weighted a ton the perfect ratio meat, cheese, toppings and spread. My belly is full but my tastes buds want more. If you are in the area this is the place to be.Amazing service and amazing food, Way to go ladies.Thanks see you soon.

I live in Florida but when I visit family in NJ this is a must do. The bagels and food options here are outstanding. They have an extensive menu so you won’t have an issue finding something to eat.

They have very good bagels, but you need to check your order. I have had several cases when they gave me the wrong bagels or cream cheese. Today I went in and ordered whole wheat everything bagels and they gave me plain. I also ordered veggie cream cheese and they gave me plain cream cheese. Just check your order before you leave.

Great bagels, I did receive wrong bagels once but who doesn’t make mistakes. They’re a busy place for a good reason!

Quality and stuff . Quality of the bagels is always outstanding, soft on the inside, baked to the perfection on outside. Easy to pick up different creamcheesee or add lox or make hot sandwiches. However when you place an order in the upfront of the store make sure that hostesses repeat it back to you and you listen carefully as music is very loud and is constantly new personal taken your order.

Been my go-to bagel place for around 20 years. Delicious bagels, friendly staff, tasty cream cheese options. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty average quality, but I have to stress again that their bagels are delicious, this is the place to go in the area if you want a proper bagel. It’s a popular spot, and can be pretty busy depending on the time of day, so go early or late or plan ahead. The bagels are made fresh in the morning so if you get there later in the day don’t expect a wide selection.

Besides making delicious bagels and offering a really great assortment of cookies and muffins, especially grateful to Orlando and his team for being EXTREMELY generous with their time and their goods. They recently donated a huge amount of bagels to a local group I work with that throws a holiday breakfast for food-insecure children and their families. Never went here before but thought I would try it after hearing so much about the bagels.The cold little lady taking my order wasn’t very warm and I knew right away I’m not coming back. Very few places I’ve been give me that cold vibe !A good management is one where you must find people working for you that are warm and friendly to the customers otherwise you will lose many customers. It’s vital !

Forgot wallet (full of cash) at the bagel barn and management not only kept it safe, but went out of their way to contact me to notify me that I had left it there. All the money and cards were still there when I retrieved it. On top of that, they whip up some quality bagels.

Usually a great place to get food, but the cashier misheard me on me wanting a HOT sandwich so they just took the cold one they already made and heated it up. Not the same way they make a hot sandwich when they grill the meat instead of using cold cuts. Will not come back after this bs.

This is a solid bagel shop. They have a good selection of bagels made fresh and you can also pick up day old ones for a good discount. Wide selection of sandwich options for both breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Prices are about average and is a good quality for what you pay.

Always good bagels!! Theres usually a line here on weekend mornings because its just that delicious, so be prepared to wait if youre there. They have a large variety of meals too, not just bagels! Perfect place for breakfast to go or to stay!

More disappointed every time I try to order from here. I lived in Montgomery for 20 years, so when I come home to visit, I like to order from my favorite local spot. Every time I try to call in my order, I’m put on hold for 10+ minutes before I end up hanging up from waiting for so long. When you go to the location for food, it’s great! It’s just sad that the service has been declining so much in recent years.

The atmosphere is nice and the selection is good. The service isnt great, I tried calling in a order and was put on hold for 10 minutes, then the employee who was taking my order had no idea was salami egg and cheese on a bagel was, I said it is just sliced deli meat instead of Taylor Ham / Pork Roll, then the phone gets passed to a older guy who started yelling at me that he will only make it once and it will be a custom sandwich. Why yell? If you dont want my business, then say it.When picking up, I was OVER charged for my 3 bagel order since they were custom and that is what the computer charges. Extra $10 for 3 bagels? I paid it because they already made it and I agreed to custom sandwiches. I dont plan on going back.

Bagel Barn is a Montgomery mainstay. Its probably the best thing about this town (besides the school district, but youre probably not reading reviews for that). Come here for warm squishy bagels and witness the full diversity of the Montgomery population try to squeeze in here on a Saturday morning.

SUPER rude staff here and outlandishly expensive. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and the person taking my order didnt tell me that my meat choice (when asked which meat I wanted) actually bumped it up from a 4.99 breakfast sandwich to an 8.50 meat sandwich??? Thats a pretty big different that should be mentioned. Then when they called my number, I went to the counter and asked you young man if he needed my receipt (with my number on it). His response? If you need me to throw it out for you I guess I can do that, but you should just do it yourself. EXCUSE ME? I was asking if you needed the number on my receipt and you give me this crazy attitude? Please reconsider showing that kind of sarcasm and attitude. Maybe New Jersey really is just so rude compared to Canada... but that was shocking. That was my first and will be my last time eating there.

You guys have to do something different. We are in a pandemic, I placed a phone order in order to reduce my time in your store and around the known crowds. When I walked in I did not expect a packed store that looked the same as before the pandemic started. This isnt safe and I will not be coming back to your location. Research what others are doing...I knownyou now have door dash but, what about true curbside pickup. Protect yourself, employees and customers by practicing social distancing....dont let people eat inside your packed tiny resteraunt while people are less then a foot apart.

The owner should be watching more carefully. This was the third time, I found them overcharging me. When I brought to their attention that they over charged me, they became unusually defensive and refused to give me a copy of my receipt when I said I was going to show the owners. Simply out for themselves and way overpriced

A classic if youre in Princeton. Large variety of bagel. They allr taste delicious. It is almost always possible to find a seat if you want it to stay. I would only criticize their avocados, which really always taste awful if you decide to add them to your bagel.
