After finding out that Nationwide Vision was the only place that accepted Well Care insurance we called the Nationwide Vision in Prescott Valley for information, as its almost 50 miles one way. We were told that they did accept Well Care, also told that our current frames could be used to keep the cost within Well Cares limits, also told no appointment needed. Upon arrival there were 3 employees there and one customer. The woman named Jill asked us what we wanted. Told her my husband and myself were in need of glasses. She told us that the other customer was here first and would wait on him first, very acceptable. We were given paperwork to complete. We completed the paperwork before she finished with the first customer. When she finished with the first customer, another guy walked in, she knew this person, she told him she had not recognized him and helped him before us. We therefore waited another 20 to 30 minutes for service. We told her we both had Well Care and needed glasses using our current frames. After looking at my currents frames she told me she wouldnt use them, tho we had been told they could be used. We took back the paperwork we had completed. The copies of our drivers license and insurance cards were not returned. Jill was very unprofessional and rude, she shouldnt be in customer service. A very wasted morning and appx. 100 mile trip. Upon returning home I called Well Care and report this case. It is being investigated. The other two employees disappeared in the back right after we arrived. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND NATIONWIDE VISION OF PRESCOTT VALLEY!
Lots of reviews on here regarding Jill but I’ve had really good experiences with her. I’ve been in 4 times and she’s helped me each time and always gotten stuff done, which I appreciate since I’m so busy. Today offered to give me a trial pair of lenses while I wait for my box to be delivered as she knows I’m out of contacts and in a pinch. Its kind of expensive if you don’t have insurance but I really like it here and that includes Jill.
I give 5 stars to the optometrist from previous visit. 0 stars fo front desk. Waited 45 minutes without anyone helping. The dr was not busy but everyone else 100% dropped the ball.
Just wanted to give Nationwide of Prescott Valley a shout out! Theresia was very friendly and helpful . Jill was also very helpful.the Doctor was pleasant to talk and explained everything as well.I have been to a few places to see about glasses and was greeted at the door by a very rude woman (Southwest eye clinic in Cottonwood). I will never go back.Nationwide was a very good experience.
Very rude young woman at front station on Friday, November 13, 2020 at about 4 PM. My granddaughters glasses were purchased at this location 18 months ago. While I fully understand they are not now under warranty I was looking for help as to what to do regarding one lens fogging over impeding her vision. It is a problem inside the lens, not something that can be cleaned off. She quite possibly needs a new RX and has an appointment for that, but needed help until then. We will never step foot in this store again!
Teresa is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with and I am 62 years old. She did not tell me until I arrived to my appointment that I could not bring my grandson and she told me to leave him all the way across the store by the door. Are you kidding me. She was also rude when I tried to get information on the cost of glasses before I paid for my exam. They are suppose to know what the insurance pays and what they dont. She should also be able to tell me what my insurance covers for different levels of lenses. This is the second and last time I will have had or will have any contact with this store because I have been treated so rudely. Also the second time I will be contacting corporate. She was rude the first time I went to the store when I tried to pick out glasses. I had to call back and have someone else hold them for me. She is not informative and very uncaring, rude lady .
I order 2 pair of glasses from this location. On regular pair and Saftey pair. My Saftey pair are still in good shape. But my regular pair had a scratch on them when I got them and they had to send them back to get a new lens. Now the outer coating is coming off. I only clean them with the cleaner they gave me. Very very poor quality. Also order a pair a few years from the same location. And they started getting scratches. And they said it was my fault. I will never go there and spend almost 400 dollars again
Staff was very unprofessional! Jill was rude and Keith the doctor doesnt make eye contact when he talks to you. Its weird and was really uncomfortable. The wait time was also ridiculous. I would never recommend this place. Pretty bad!
I visited Nationwide Vision during COVID 19. All of the staff were great., Theresa and Kevin were extremely helpful and courteous. I recommend this office. I have been to the other office in Prescott and my experience there was sub standard. Thank you Nationwide Prescott Valley.
I got my eyes dilated therefore couldn’t see very well. Theresia helped me pick out two frames that I absolutely love! She was very informative with everything that I had questions about. Very friendly and great staff!
I walked in and was immediately welcomed by the lady at the desk. She got my insurance in order very quick and then I was seeing a very informative lady that was very patient, kind and thorough. Id take my business there again for sure.
Jill was very rude. I was there with my mother yesterday for her appointment and she was being rude to my mom right in front of me then too!! Terrible customer service and if you want my honest opinion I don’t think she’s doing them any good for the company or the customers. She didn’t seem very interested in her job really, and I personally think if you don’t like your job, quit and find something else where you’re not going to make everyone unhappy along with you. Maybe it was a bad past two days in her world, but I was taught at my first job you leave your bad mood and personal life stuff at the door. If it’s so bad to where you can’t cover up your bitterness, call out for the day and don’t get yourself in trouble!
I recently had two pair of glasses made and both were very good, very quick and precise service, thank you Jill I can see again. The staff were great, overall very pleasant experience, will definitely be my go to store for all vision needs.
Great customer service and very helpful. All the staff there are great.
Keep giving nation wide numerous chances (they are closer to me) but always get back home disappointed. Rude staff, especially Jill. I recommend going to kokopelli, they are always extremely nice and HELPFUL.
The whole team is awesome! Very helpful and Theresia is the best!
Staff was not helpful at all. When we did ask questions they were very short and rude. I gave them a second chance and nothing has changed. We will not be back.
I stopped in this store not knowing if they could fix my glasses or if I would need a new pair, hoping that I would not because I am on a fixed income. I was greeted with a smile and a hello by, I think her name was jill, hard to remember at my age, but I was happy to see someone look at me and not through me, alot of people do not like to help seniors. When I do need a new set I will be going back there.
Excellent prescription from Dr. Voten. My old lenses were too strong and giving me depth perception errors. My new script awesome. Also I was taken care of by Theresia and she spent so much time with me and my wife getying things just right.Theresia is outstanding in her attitude, patience and helpfulness. She is extremely knowledgeable.Theresia went above and beyond by all the time she spent helping me with my company provided safety lenses (cut by another company) that gave my double vision. She discovered multiple errors in those lenses.Thank you so much Theresia.
Jill is very rudeNot helpfull at allDont go there!!Save money and get great custemer service at costo
I brought Brianna at Nationwide my broken glasses that another optometrist office determined could not be fixed. She fixed and straightened out the frame and temple area and it fit perfectly saving me nearly $300. Most excellent customer service.
One month after purchasing glasses from Nationwide the lens fell out spontaneously. I took the glasses back to Nationwide requesting the lens to be replaced due to a defective pair of glasses. I was told they were not defective. When you buy a pair of glasses you expect them to last more than one month! I will not be purchasing anything else from this company for they do not stand by or believe their costumers when they receive defective quality merchandise. They obviously dont can or need my business!
I have been a client for over 20 years! I bought a new pair of glasses and the girl talked me into trying a $500 pair of progressive lenses and told me I could bring them back within 30 days if they didnt work. I got a headache everytime I wore them so I took them back and got my plain old glasses with no upgrades and expected a credit on my card. When I inquired about why I had not seen a credit I got told that they dont do credits!!!! So I had to pay $500 for normal glasses!!! Dont try anything you dont absolutely KNOW you will use because you will pay the full price of their upselling regardless if you like it or not!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER go back!!!!!!!
They where so nice and understanding the staff helped me and my mother and aunt there where really kind and friendly I give them a five star they accommodated to my aunt that is in a wheel chair and the eye doctor explained things very nicely thank you guys sincerely this place is great 👍
Thought I try Nationwide, big mistake. Never, ever had problems with glasses. Very rude staff, nice till they got your money. Last pair from Costco and that is where Im going.UPDATED:. Went to Walmart & picked up new glasses today (5/20/2018), put them on to drive home and they are perfect as Nationwide had my prescription all wrong! I even order a pair on Zenni Optical with Nationwide Vision script and it was wrong. Lens in glasses from Nationwide dont even fit in frames. Im going to take a trip to Chandler (corporate office)next month as want to see if they would wear poor quality glasses like they sold me. Manager shrugged me off when I showed her.
Staff is very rude, the only polite person is the doctor.
Brianna was so nice and very helpful with picking out my glasses!
There staff is very informative and customer service skills are a +
Everyone seemed nice and friendly. The eye doctor a lil sarcastic, seemed bored with his career.
Very rude staff. Was waiting on appointment and looking at glasses, was told to move and go sit in waiting room while they helped another customer. No space in waiting room was full of kids. Under staffed maybe. Certainly didnt treat us as paying customers.
The store was nice and clean but their method of testing was very outdated, their technology needs to be drastically updated.
Rude staff specially JillWont be going back
This place is horrible! I would go anywhere else besides this place!
I arrive 15 min before my app for check in, but she told me that is too late
You guys suck
