The team of movers that helped us were personable, flexible, and professional. They handled our furniture as if it was their own. We were extremely please with the responsiveness of ARNOFF from our date of initial booking to completion of our move. I would highly recommend.

We recently used Arnoff to transport a family heirloom dining room set from NY to Washington DC. We were very pleased with the service we received from the crew on both ends and also from the staff who helped us get the move scheduled. The team who moved the furniture was very friendly, courteous, and great at what they do. They were very careful to wrap and pack all pieces carefully and managed to pickup and deliver the set without even any scratches. We would certainly use the team at Arnoff again next time we have household moving needs.

Unhappy Customer - Very disappointed with this service. I moved from out of region (Indiana to West Point) but wanted to use a local company. During in the process of the move my wardrobe boxes that contained all of my clothes were somehow lost. I contacted Arnoff and was was told to file a claim. The claim then went through a claim agency and a lowball settlement amount was offered.In researching the next steps to appeal the settlement I discovered it would have only prolonged the time and cost me more money. I would have my claim sent to an arbitrator and that would have wanted receipts for my clothing items. Who has receipts for all the items in their closet? It’s a racket designed to protect the moving companies. I sent numerous emails and did receive one from one of the Arnoff family members however it was just lip service in the end.I reluctantly accepted the settlement offer which was substantially below any numerical value to replace my entire closet. I sent a final email asking them to give the service one would expect from a local company and the human touch but never heard back.They came highly recommended and I have shared my story with other friends and voiced me frustrations. I can say that I will advise anyone moving to the area to use another company.

I had two pieces from my mother’s estate that needed to be picked up from a storage unit and moved to Texas. Arnoff was able to do this and I was kept informed as to the status of my furniture throughout the process.

My husband and I moved from NY to Florida in August 2021. Picking a moving company to move your entire life is not an easy task. We had heard so many horror stories, and also had gotten a bunch of different estimates for varies companies. We ended up choosing Arnoff, we knew they had been around for years and had a great reputation and wonderful reviews. WE ABSOLUTELY MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!! From the start, Phil came over and gave us an estimate. Then organizing everything with Denise. Finally moving day came, Shane was our driver, Bill and the 2 other movers came to our house (sorry forgot their names) All 4 were fantastic!! That whole crew made moving day stress free!! It was no different once our belongings arrived in Florida. Shane and his crew in Florida were equally as amazing! Shane was in contact with us from the beginning, he was there when he said he would be, he totally put my mind at ease.. He is absolutely a true professional!I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful job he did!!I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a moving company to use Arnoff!!

Had a perfect moving experience with Kyrie, Keith, Jacob and Michael. It was a fairly large and complicated move with items from a whole house going to two different locations. Fragile antiques and art were included along with oversized mirrors, pottery, sleeper sofas and many boxes.The crew were communicative, respectful, and moved swiftly and efficiently. They took special care with my home and placed everything in its proper place even if it meant going a longer distance to protect existing art on my walls.NOTHING was damaged or broken in the move. As a matter of fact, I had an outdoor table that was previously damaged and one of the guys fixed it for me!I would HIGHLY recommend. Thanks guys!

I’ll cut to the chase…I’ve moved several times in the last decade. (Hopefully this is the last one) The people at Arnoff I worked with were fantastic, from sales to scheduling to moving. They were prompt, friendly and courteous. I have never encountered any movers as professional as they were. They took their work seriously, and they worked very hard. I felt like they were genuinely concerned with the doing the best job that they could and they treated my belongings very well. My family and I were getting ready to move. We needed a container, plus a moving crew. Kyle and Curtis were there to help with a container delivery, pick-up and final delivery to the new residence. Arnoff was easy to work with from the start. I had a little trouble with the new video quote but they walked me through it. They kept in contact every step of the way. On the day of my move they arrived early, were pleasant and had a great attitude even with being in the middle of a heat wave.

Paid $100 plus $40 tip to install a bed frame. After they left I realized they installed side rails upside down showing the inside lining. They would not respond to my request to have it fixed. Wayfair could not get a response from them.

I hired Arnoff Moving & Storage for a small local move (30 minutes between destinations). The price was fair, and the movers were punctual, insanely quick, and all-around great guys. I have zero complaints about the service I received, and will definitely be calling Arnoff again for my next move.

From the quote to delivery of my household items, the Arnoff team was professional, efficient, and courteous. I had a foot and knee injury and they were supportive and attentive to make sure they went the extra mile to ensure I did not aggravate my injury. The customer service I received from the loading and unloading team was superb. When Tom, the move team lead, unloaded the items in my storage I was in awe of how the items were so neatly arranged and he made sure to ask if there were items I wanted to take out before putting them in storage and then loaded them in my car. Thank you for making my move a great one and for the professionalism and great service provided along the way.

I called Arnoff for machinery rigging after the delivery company (which was supposed to do the job) ditched on me after seeing my driveway. Arnoff had no issues moving the heavy machinery into its final place. I was so happy with how they did it I ended up using them multiple times in the future for receiving and rigging/install of more heavy machinery. Each time has been painless and the job has been done with zero fanfare or excitement (which is exactly what you want when youre moving heavy equipment!).

Arnoff has terrific customer service, and their movers are fantastic as well. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. All of our boxes and furniture were handled with care. We have used them twice so far, and they will be my first call if we move again.

I purchased a large stove from Wayfair that was delivered to Arnoffs warehouse on June 2. The delivery was scheduled for June 11 but was not delivered. We received an email rescheduling the delivery for June 14 (the following Monday). It wasnt delivered again. I called Arnoff but no one was available to speak to me. I left voicemails with 3 different people. I contacted Wayfair who reached out to Arnoff. Arnoff initially said they didnt receive the item. When presented with the scan showing that it was indeed delivered, they offered to do a dock search which added another 48 hours to my wait. They havent responded to Wayfair and wont mark it as lost preventing me from having a replacement sent. Even if they lost it (mistakes happen), their lack of communication is currently delaying this further.

Everyone at Arnoff was spectacular. From my initial point of contact, through scheduling (and re-scheduling), to the actual move was top notch and professional. Denise was great with logistics and scheduling. Promptly answering my emails. Robert and his team on the move day were awesome. Very courteous and very careful with all of our belongings. Always make sure to buy your movers some lunch. These guys work hard and deserve it. Highly recommend.

Two guys came this morning to deliver a swing set I had ordered through Overstock. By the time I got outside they had already unloaded it to one completely reasonable place and were closing up their truck. They tried to deliver furniture that I bought from a national company. Shipping fees were included in my large purchase. I did not hire Arnoff directly; they were a sub-contractor for another delivery company, hired by a national big-box store. The boxes were ripped, re-taped, smashed, etc. I said that I needed to see the contents before accepting delivery. I had an email confirmation, received the previous evening at 5:19pm, that the furniture would be put in my room a choice, unpacked, debris removed and up to 15 minutes of labor to assemble. THEY DID NOTHING and blamed everything on instructions from the boss. After speaking with a(RUDE) boss, I told them that either they do what they were hired for or take it back so back it went. I even said that they didnt have to set it up - just let me see that it is NOT damaged - given the condition of the broken boxes. There was no solution when dealing with these unprofessional workers. NOW, the company wont even admit they took back the furniture. Yes, I HAVE VIDEO of Arnoff handling the broken boxes, carrying the boxes OUT of my house and throwing them back on their truck. I sent the video to the seller. BEWARE who you are buying from online (Wayfair, Samsclub, etc.) if they use ARNOFF - go elsewhere! DOCUMENT EVERYTHING - you will need it!

From Denise to the two guys that moved me, Bob and Dave, they were the BEST!I moved out of state and everything was perfect from pick up to delivery. Moved from the Bronx up to Dutchess county. Our last move was a nightmare and we had steeled ourselves for pain. But these guys were very professional and tackled all the problems we threw at them: super wouldnt let us move stuff out through the lobby, parking in the Bronx was not easy, parking at our house was tricky. And we have a lot of books -- any movers enemy -- but they knew how to move a lot of boxes at once. And the whole thing was done in less time than I thought.Shout out to the back office people, too. Moving makes me a crazy person, but they were patient and professional.

We needed big pieces of furniture moved from and to different rooms as well as furniture packed for move to other residence.

No stars if I could, called 3 times no response. They were supposed to deliver a freestanding tub from a Wayfair purchase I made. Tracking number is no where to be found. I was texted a time and date and nothing came not even a courtesy call. Called Wayfair to investigate since they are a 3rd party delivery for this company. In my opinion, this is totally unprofessional, and my product may have fallen off the truck as they say .

The team did an exceptional job. We appreciated Arnoff giving us the team we requested. It made all the difference. They were familiar with us and our expectations. Each guy on the team was responsive, respectful, took direction extremely well. Their years of experience was demonstrated through their efficiency and attention to detail. Mike, the foreman, actually exceeded our expectations. He worked hard, took direction from us, was so pleasant to have working in our homes handling our possessions with care. Today we had our KL60 pharmacy robot moved out and sent to TN. The device is nearly 2000 lbs 4ft by 3ft by nearly 6 ft high.Arnoff sent 4 strong / professional guys who carefully wrapped then padded the equipment nicely. These guys did an amazing job.We are very thankful to Dave Feldman and his talented team for making what I consider a very very difficult task super super easy.I just had to meet them and unlock the door so they could get at it.

Our move with Arnoff couldnt have gone better. The office was super helpful and the crew arrived on time. They were friendly and professional and did a great job. All our stuff arrived safely, including a big, complex piece of furniture that they took apart, carried down a crazy steep set of stairs, delivered to the new location (down more stairs), and built back up. Would use this company again without any hesitation.

I needed a package boxed and shipped for FedEx. The counter person was helpful and. Ery friendly. All in all a very nice experience. I will use them again whenever I need to send a FedEx package. Since Im not moving anytime soon.

Dont use these clowns unless you are a 1% with a big move; my family used these guys since the 1950s, but since they moved to Malta and the younger generation has taken over, its just f$&; the customer and poor service. Get a local company or Mayflower if you dont want to be treated like a doormat. Rich folks, youll be fine, they live for $$$$.

Outstanding in every way.

Had an absolutely amazing experience with the moving company. Head of the crew who handled my military move (delivery) had over 30 years of experience. Educated me on how the (packing/pick-up) crew on the other end of our move mishandled our stuff resulting in other people’s stuff being included in our delivery. They worked with the head of transportation to hunt down those other families and deliver their stuff to them. They communicated with me and were open and honest the entire time. They were honest and professional the entire time. Will definitely be requesting them when it is time for us to leave here.

Missing items, surly owners/ management and never ever let them pack your belongings! Pack your own as it’s a huge mistake As many valuable pieces never made it to my place in the end. They were recommended but it was really the worst ever.

Never use this company for any of your needs. It started off fine with the pickup. Guys were nice and professional. When they did the redelivery they were also nice but the hardware was not there for my kitchen table. So the table top is just sitting on the base loose. I’ve contacted them several times to finally here a week later that the customer service rep was working with the claims department to resolve.Over two weeks later I still heard nothing. When I contact them again, I now have to work with claims myself.The tabletop has fallen off twice almost injuring people sitting there. Arnoff, doesn’t care. They just rip you off and ruin your furniture paid for with hard earned money.

We moved our Mom from NYC (a most complicated place to manage a truck, for certain) to upstate NY. The three men who accompanied the truck were talented, respectful, competent, knowledgeable, helpful and appreciated. The two office based people, David and Denise took all the info in advance in order to prepare the movers with the right boxes for safely packing. All went smoothly. We are grateful and recommend Arnoff and their team without hesitation.A year and a half later I had reason to recommend Arnoffs to another person moving from NYC to a northern Siberia. Again they were excellent... And next a smaller move within Ulster county. The moving men are excellent, safe, and trust worthy. Denise is the best! All in all... Arnoffs deserves its excellent reputation.

The movers themselves were very nice and polite which is why one star is sufficient. As for North American Van Lines - NEVER USE THEM! They lost our items shipping them from NY to IL. Somehow they ended up in WA! Due to this our shipment was almost 2 weeks late. They only give you two compensation options and for the entire cost of the moving services, the compensation options they give you are not nearly enough, it’s not even a quarter of what you’re paying this company. Pathetic. Customer service will do nothing more than repeat the same thing to you. When asking for a supervisor they gave us two names and their numbers to call. We called them, left 8 voicemails and NEVER received a call back. Basically they don’t want to deal with you other than getting your money. We moved in June, it’s now the second week of August and I am still fighting for money back from them (because of course you need to pay them in full and they want to “refund” you instead of give you an initial discount when paying them). I’ve already told everyone I know not to ever consider using them and I will continue to do so.

This Poughkeepsie branch has ruined/damaged peoples belongings and will not honor their claims. In fact they will offer you a low-ball payout and that in itself is admitting fault. Fair warning. Neutral feedback as it wasnt myself but a friend of mine.

They were recommended by my contractor and what a disappointment. They were not timely in the delivery which cost me money as I had a team to assist setting up. And more importantly, they damaged several valuable pieces and ended up paying me a pittance as their document limits there liability to 60 cents a pound per item. So, if they break a $5,000 item they pay you about $20. A scam for sure
